Dwight D. Eisenhower - Soldier, statesman, president, beloved hero of D-Day, the Invasion of Normandy and the defeater of Germany at the Battle of the Bulge. Omar N. Bradley - Considered himself a failure during WWI when he was kept stateside, but during WWII he commanded a division, a corps, an army, and finally a group of armies!
