The "doctor" would be Barbara De Angelis, PhD, a much-published relationship expert who's also a polished performer (she was once a magician's assistant to then-husband Doug Henning). In Love Secrets, her cheerleading monologue is filled with colorful analogies that try to help listeners understand, communicate with, and, ultimately, have a much closer relationship with the opposite sex. She discloses common mistakes people make in intimate relationships and talks about how to create intimacy in, and out of, the bedroom. "Marriage isn't a noun, it's a verb," she reminds.
