5 out of 5 stars Great movie.......2006-02-15

This is a touching, thoughtful and artistic work.

The filmmaker does an excellent job of drawing the viewer in through his technique of mixing old super 8 footage with new footage. Watching his personal journey is captivating and interesting.

This film stretches the notion of black identity and black cinema and is a very important piece of work.
