Great Chronicle Of "The Few, The Proud, The Marines".......2005-01-13
From watching this DVD set, you get the impression that you are witnessing some of the Marines' greatest battles from World War 2 as well as Korea, as well as what the "Leathernecks" do in their down time and I thought that this set shows the valor and bravery of the Marines though some of their toughest battles.
I highly recommend this DVD set to anyone who wants to learn more about "The Few and The Proud" and about military history in general.

Totaly Awsome! 8 hous of old marine films of ww2 and Korea. The films are hosted by "Howlin" Smith, who complements the films greatly. There is no glitz to this fine dvd set, just gritty reality, no modern B/S has been added in. If u are a fan of the Marines, this is the best video investment u will ever make. From New Brittan to Okinawa, Inchon to Chosin, it's all here, even takes of "R&R" on Pavuvu after the Pelilu fight. 5 stars do not rate this set, more like 10
