Customer Reviews:
Excellent film about the best Irish band in the world ever!.......2006-02-08
Even though they started in the 70s Irish Rock legends U2 are still one of the biggest acts in the world today. This film tells their complete story from the start. With interesting interviews & lovely scenery of Ireland this is a great film!!
Worst documentary EVER.......2006-01-16
I bought this dvd last year. I agree with the other reviews posted on here. What a piece of JUNK!!! I am a U2 fan (music and film fan in general). The title is completely misleading. No U2 and no U2 music. Just a bunch of sad people telling boring stories about the good ol days in Ireland in the places where u2 atteneded school. Do NOT waste your time or your money on this DVD.
i agree - it's bad........2004-08-08
you know you're in for a quality production when the box says "An Unforgettable Journey" and the film says "The Unforgettable Journey."
I wish it was forgettable. Fortunately, I borrowed it from the library and lost no money.
We Can't Give out 0 Stars with reviews???.......2004-05-19
I had this review page open for five minutes before I started typing, trying to think of something positive to say about this DVD, but I couldn't. This was the worst DVD purchase I have made ever! This deserves 0 stars, but I'll give it the one star just because it is about U2.
As a die-hard fan, I think we should be refunded after watching this garbage. You should read the back cover of the DVD, "40 minutes of interviews with the band" and "insider revelations on all band members." LIES!! LIES!!! There is almost no interviews with the band, and as for the people that are interviewed, I bet more than half of them have never even met u2.
Unauthorized. How perfect is that to describe this DVD? Somebody probably put it together in their basement. There is no u2 music, no information of any substance, and I pray I could rewind my life back one hour so I could take back the 60 mins I wasted on viewing this DVD. I would recommend the "Vanilla Ice: Behind the Music" DVD before this...yes my friends, that's how awful this is. Just kidding. Or am I?
One of the reasons why u2 are the greatest rock band is because of their following, their fans are very loyal. And there is a lot of u2 merchandise floating around, so to those u2 fans, stay away from this DVD! Go Pick up the "Slane Castle Concert," which is absolutely amazing...or save the money and use it to buy the "ZOO TV: Sydney" or "Popmart: Mexico City" DVDs if they are ever released.
Crap.......2004-03-26
Im glad this DVD is out of print because if I was U2 I would sue the makers of this piece of garbage. I didnt even watch the entire thing. It does nothing to promote their music or spread the news about the greatest rock and roll band.
Makes a nice cup holder.

Rip-off.......2007-04-13
This is Chrome Dreams "The Unforgettable Journey" very deceptively repackaged so that you cannot tell it is the same documentary. This is at least the third time I have bought this DVD repackaged in a manner that makes it impossible to identify until you open the packaging. This company are total rip-off artists. I am furious because I very carefully read everything I could of the description to try to determine if I had this already and you can't tell until you open the box and look at the non-label side of the disc or until you play it and what comes up on the screen is not Silver and Gold Productions but Chrome Dreams and the title comes up not as "More in Sorrow Than in Anger" but "The Unforgettable Journey". A blatantly deliberate deception to get people to buy the same product over and over.
