I had heard a few radio interviews with Zecariah Sitchin and thought his theories fascinating; I am not totally convinced, but it does seem possible. The Anunaki from the planet Niburu landing on earth 6000 years ago, bioengineering our descendants to labour for them. Sadly they couldn't be back in our lifetime. Or maybe a good thing they won't be back.
Ancient astrological knowledge is not recognized by modern science. Thier apparent knowledge of the planetary bodies of our solar system, some only discovered with telescopes in the modern age, including a planet we as yet have to discover, seems incredible. Did they just guess? Did they have some level of technology that was eventually lost? Or, were they educated by travellers from within our very own system, from a planet with a incredibly long orbit around our sun. How could they survive even thrive on a planet that would travel so far from our sun to make it a pinprick of light?
IMHO there is a lot of history that isn't explained by our current account of history. Anything that doesn't seem to fit the current regime is basically scorned and/or utterly ignored. There's science for ya. This is an interesting possiblity.

I have all of the Phenomenon DVD's and they are exceptional.

Lavishly produced, very HIGH Quality and extremely intriguing.

Dean Stockwell---a very underated and under appreciated actor brings his star quality talent in at just the right pitch as the Host of the series.

By the way, Check out Hepburn and Stockwell in the timeless film adaptation of Eugene O'Neil's "Long Days Journey Into Night" for proof of that statement! One of the great forgotten films!!!!!!

Unfortunately...I cannot remember the name of the man who narrarates the Phenomenon series, but his voice was a stroke of casting genius.

What the inimitable Alexander Scourby did for the Bible...this man...whoever he is...does for this series...

So check out this series if you want to see a surprisingly Professional and Expertly produced Investigative-Documentary Series that covers many subjects of Mystery in a manner that does not de-legitimize the subject itself with a lot of Hooey!

Example....the Noah's Ark segment is possibly one of the most groundbreaking and stunning documentaries that I have ever seen on the subject of Noah's Ark research!

Yep...for those of us who enjoyed "In Search Of..." with Leonard Nimoy back in the 70's and have come to detest all of the conveyor belt shaky camera crap documentaries that Discovery and A&E are putting out these days full of fluff and way to many commercials, then this is a top notch series to get your hands on.

Documentary series just don't come along this good very often.

I wish the legendary Graham Hancock could get together with the folks who made this series and.....oh man would that be a buzz or what!!!!!!!!!!

I would be willing to purchase a documentary just of them talking about the idea of making such a documentary of his ideas and theories with this quality of production....!!

Anyway...this is Quality and Intrigue at a great price!!!

Genesis Revisited is the first episode that asks the questions, where did we come from, were we planted on this planet by a ancient aliens. This and more are discussed in this unbelievable episode. Archeologist Zecharia Sitchin uncovers evidence from texts, ancient tablets that we are visited every 3,600 years by ancient aliens he calls the Anunnaki from the Planet X which belongs to our solar system that has a 3600 year orbit of the sun. Today, there is still no sign of this tenth planet but experts say that maybe this planet could possibly exist. The Anunnaki passed there knowledge of the universe and our solar system down to the Sumerians who were the oldest known civilization on this earth. Very good value.......2002-09-07

The first of three programs on this dvd is Noah's Ark Found, which follows the discovery of a boat shape object on Mt Ararat which could be the Ark itself, or maybe not. The second episode which is the best of the three is about Tunguska, what really exploded in 1908 over this region which still has no conclusion. Was is a comet, nuclear explosion or a UFO, you decide. Program number 3 is about the cover up of Cosmonaut Vladimir Ilyushin, I didn't know what this cover up was about until I watched this dvd and was amazed at the evidence that the Russians had lied to the world about who really was the first man in space, fascinating episode. All programs run for about 45 minutes each, there are no extras.

Phenomenon-Lost Archives: Noah's Ark.......2001-09-14

This is an excellent thought-provoking production. The two best episodes are: Noah's Ark Found and Tunguska: The Russian Roswell. People interested in Noah's Ark will find this episode of particular interest - - it takes the viewer right up to the point of the discovery, laying the foundation for the next steps - - factual proof.
Tunguska also is a gripping 47 minute show on a liitle-known but incredible phenomenon that occurred; which I believe has been hidden from the public.
I strongly recommend this DVD to anyone interested in history, unusual occurrences and the possibility of alien visitors to our planet.

Where Documentaries meet the X-Files........2001-09-10

Phenomenon is composed of international news footage to explain strange tales of government research, criminal endeavors, and hidden power brokers. Dean Stockwell who hosts the program, gives the stories an air of mystery and validity. If you like the X-files and enjoy news documentaries, you'll love this series. Excellent presentation.......2006-10-04

Despite one reviewer who went to a lot of trouble to showcase his own ignorance in front of the world this seems to be a favorite. I have shown my copy to a lot of people have have never heard one negative comment.

Many in fact are not aware of the true nature of the Fed, if nothing else this video shows what the Fed really is and how it came about. Itcame about exactly as is presented in this episode. Right down to the manipulation of the 1912 election. They didn't have Diebold voting machines back then so they had to do it the old fashioned way: buy it.

This is very well presented with a lot of historical footage including some never before seen films of riots during the Great Depression as well as live interviews. As far as I can determine everything in this video is an established historical fact.

Some may doubt that the major wars of the 20th century were instigated by the international bankers, but there is solid historaical evidence to demonstrate exactly that. The information does exist that shows the money trails to the various countries involved as well as the manipulation of the US legislature and executive. It really is undeniable.

That Joe Kennedy profited from the Great Depression is not in historical dispute. He was an insider and the depression was engineered - again historical facts are not in dispute. Yes, JFK wanted to kill the Fed, what does that have to do with old Joe profiting from the depression? Joe profited from his Mafia ties too but RFK went after the syndicate tooth and nail. Jack and Bobby had a conscience. That conscience cost them both their lives.

Remember a "conspiracy" by definition is more than one person plotting to commit a crime. If two people pliot together to rib a bank then they are conspiritors. If the Morgans, the Rothschilds, the Rockefellers, the Warburgs and others plot together to rob the entire country then they are criminal conspirators by definition. They are also criminals who worked very hard to corrupt the US Government and suceeded. The whole plot is laid out here, and again it is all documented historical fact.

The Fed was a band of criminals in a conspiracy and as far as any one can see that has not changed.

If the reader of this review is unfamiliar with the real history of banking and the federal reserve system, this video is a little light on all the background data but is a great introduction to the subject.

Despite one reviewers claim about the ownership of the Fed, that person obviously has done no research whatsoever on the subject. That the Federal Reserve is a PRIVATE bank owned and controlled by 5 UK banks chartered by the Bank of England is NOT in dispute and is publicly available knowledge.

I had an internet download copy of this video and was so impressed by the quality of the show I purchased the entire 6 DVD set of this series.

This is the worst one-sided presentation I have ever seen. They interview a host of conspiracy theorists and one pleb on the side of the good guys. What about giving the Fed Reserve the right of reply or interviewing some players in the financial markets, economists, academics, etc., and getting their views? Then there's the faulty logic - Joe Kennedy benefits from the Fed Reserve, yet his son is killed to hide things. Not to mention the incoherent argument; who the hell are the elite international bankers? Are they a corporation, in which case they are owned by stockholders - the public? What riches do they amass (no quantification or anything) and what do they do with it? They also take issue with the Fed Reserve being able to print money. OK, if not the Fed Reserve, who should, every Tom, Dick and Harry? And they suggest that the UK actually controls the US through the Fed Reserve - give me a break (they obviously didn't watch Love Actually).

Finally, I couldn't stop laughing (why I gave this comedy 1 star) when they accuse the "international bankers" of causing WWI and WWII and the Great Depression. That's like saying accountants or plumbers or any other profession caused these things, because they were on both sides of the war, and they were around when the Great Depression occurred.

Don't waste your money or time.

The US Federal Reserve system is a privately owned organization and is no more federal than Federal Express. Owned by European bankers and financiers, the Federal Reserve is unaudited and untaxed, making uncountable trillions of US dollars since it's illegal inception about 100 years ago. By the very nature of this system which lends principle but demands both principle and interest in return, the debt game is rigged so that banks will continually be owed more and the government will continue to be more in debt. Are the international bankers interested in owning America? No, don't think so small. The end-game is nothing less than World government set up as one-world socialism with two classes (as usual): 1) You, equal with your other serf collegues and 2) The elite ruling class that redistribute your wealth-generating power to themsleves.

I really like this whole series. It seems to be pretty factual in the footage and interviews. Dean Stockwell is pretty good as the host, and the subject matter is great. If you like having TLC, History Channel, or Discover on in the background while doing computer work or whatever, this is the series for you. I've seen some cheesy paranormal/conspiracy video's and this doesn't really rank among them. It's a higher grade of revisionist documentary show than normal (the music is actually great for some reason too).
