It's not mind control that compels me to label this a complete farce.......2006-07-09

As a believer in UFOs and much of the paranormal, I'm pretty open-minded when it comes to outré subjects that fall outside the mainstream of public opinion. With almost no knowledge of Commander X, I was certainly prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt and hear him out. In a matter of minutes, however, the only thing Commander X convinced me of was the fact that he is way out there on the lunatic fringe. This is the kind of guy that makes all ufologists, including the most serious, scientifically rigorous of researchers, look like fools to the average man or woman. What do we know about the guy? Only that he claims to be a retired military intelligence official who was one of the early participants in remote viewing tests. We don't know his name, nor do we get to see his face in this particular video - ostensibly because government agents are hot on his trail looking to take him out. I'm more inclined to believe he remains anonymous because some guys in white coats are looking for him. There is supposedly a small studio audience with him, along with unknown persons watching via a closed circuit Internet broadcast. Is there even such a thing as a closed circuit Internet broadcast?

You do have to give the guy some credit for coming up with such a huge number of crazy ideas and attempting to connect them all together - despite the fact that some of them contradict one another. He leads off with an attack on the supposed New World Order, bemoaning the fact that this secret organization has now gained extreme power through puppets such as President George W. Bush, both American political parties, the UN, and basically everyone who has ever said or done anything that even remotely affects the lives of others. Commander X claims that the NWO is behind basically everything, sowing the seeds of a military theocracy in the United States. Ted Bundy, the Son of Sam, and the Columbine killers? All victims of secret governmental mind control. Islamic terrorists? Merely government agents creating the conditions for a fascist state that would deny all Americans their freedom. He goes on to make ever more laughable charges about the secret government and mind control before moving on to UFOs.

According to Commander X, not only did the Nazis have contact with an alien race, their extraterrestrial allies helped the Nazi elite escape to secret bases in Antarctica and South America along with their own working UFOs - and this secret Nazi power base continues to have a huge effect on world governments, especially those in South America. Byrd's expedition to Antarctica in 1946, he tells us, was actually a secret military operation against Nazi underground bases, a mission that failed badly. The alien threat, we are told, saw the NWO shift into high gear, as aliens are the only threat the NWO cannot contain or corrupt. That is why they are always leaking information to the public about them. The American government itself, we learn, has had a number of secret deals with the aliens but have been betrayed time and time again. That's why it's hastening its efforts to discover alien artifacts - including those buried somewhere in Iraq (see, it wasn't about oil at all).

Basically, every "fact" Commander X makes public is more outrageous and laughable than the last: cell phones used for mind control, the removal of human souls to be replaced by alien essences, etc. It just goes on and on. After 90 minutes of this rambling "lecture," I would be hard pressed to believe this guy if he told me two and two are four.

The production value of the presentation is less than impressive, as well. Alongside his hidden face and electronically modified voice, you get a slideshow of historical as well as weird, meaningless images. Early on, there's also some obvious canned applause - along with intermittent coughs apparently intended to prove that he does indeed have an audience. He doesn't. The kicker comes toward the end, though, when someone off-camera whispers in his ear that the broadcast may have been detected and its secret location identified. It's a perfectly appropriate ending for such a farcical presentation.

The information on this DVD is so secretive, even the canned applause, is disguised.

Who is that man behind the big black dot? Al Frankin, maybe?

I think, the real reason for covering his face, is to avoid being tarred and feathered, should he be recognised by the people who wasted their money on this DVD.

Anyone who is interested in real government cover-ups, would be better off spending their money, on "Out Of The Blue."

The shocking truth, is that the production is juvenile, at best, it is filled with mis-information and it's insulting, to all intelligent life, throughout the Universe!

This item is the real deal...no question about it. If it wasn't, then why have the distributors of this DVD been threatened, stalked, and blackmailed by the US government while the people who edited and reproduced it have been seized as quietly as possible, held incommunicado, and jailed without a trial? The legitimacy of this document is also compelling evidence for why the original source of this footage has been captured, had his/her history effectively erased from existence and, for all of us on the "inside" know, killed. Also, the fact that Amazon.com has received sternly-worded threats from the Pentagon and is now under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security as well as the FBI for distributing classified, highly-sensitive material for peanuts is disturbing as well.

This is all well and good, but people with no radar for sarcasm need not apply. Get a grip, kooks. This crap makes Rapture Ready look marginally sensical. However, if you find extra-strength paranoia that's bound to be archaic and laughable in a few years as entertaining as I do, skip this one and check out the quaint little 1999 VHS of "Y2K--Hidden Dangers of Martial Law and a Police State". It's a steal at $13.97. Apparently, good 'ol Billy Clinton had a plan in place to enact martial law and mobilize FEMA in all fifty states once the grid went down and the sh*t hit the fan. Just a friendly recommendation.

Wow, what a piece of garbage. Get this only if you have money you need to get rid of or an hour of your life you need to waste. This wasn't even bad in a cheesy way, it was just bad. There's no lecture. There's a guy standing behind a black spot pretending like he's talking while there's a bad overdub of the same tired old stuff, with occasional applause and someone coughing to convince you it's real. Save yourself the trouble and watch an old rerun of Hawaii 50. How do you make this thing say 0 stars?

The only reason I gave this DVD more than one star is because of the few facts contained within this lecture. It seems as though this person read a few books and has done a little research on various subjects from conspiracy theories, to remote viewing, and compiled them all in one just to give himself a little bit of credibility so he can make a few dollars.

He wants to give the impression that he is lecturing in front of a group of people when in actuality, he is just speaking into a camera with maybe one or two people with him in the room. In the beginning, there was a round of applause that was obviously an added effect similar to a laugh track system. At the end, he had somebody whisper in his ear and he then said that the lecture needed to end because he had just been informed that somebody has possibly discovered the location of the secret meeting that was taking place. This obviously was bogus considering the fact that an applause track was an added effect that even the most novice producer of movie and or music(such as myself) would recognize.

Furthermore, most if not all of the images used came from other publications and websites and in no way proved any of his points to be valid. Most of them I recognized from simple artwork of others seen on various places. Moreover, they were shown over and over again, a technique used often by those who mislead because they lack the facts to support what they are saying.

He claims to be an ex-military remote viewer and even gave specific locations where he worked, that were also similar to many other remote viewers from back in the late 70's, who have written many books ever since the information has been declassified.

It is of my opinion based on the deception that I noticed while viewing this DVD, that this man is just taking the facts he had learned from various ex- military authors(similar to the false wizard on Harry Potter) and using it to prove his case and create his own identity.

I bought this DVD to see whether or not I would purchase and read any of his books, but anyone can take what I have learned from remote viewing and the underground media, write books, and profit off of those who do not know any better.

I could be wrong, but from what I have witnessed, this man seems to be a fraud.

If you read the book and you liked it, then this DVD is worth seeing.......2006-07-04

I am very surprised at the poor reviews. Yes this is a low budget documentary. But, this documentary sheds light on issues brought up in the book. It is great to actually see inside places like the Roslyn Chapel. I really is not about Da Vinci but the secrets within the book - Knights Templar, Mary Magdelene, etc. I found this DVD fascinating and informative just after reading the book.

A waste of time and money.......2006-03-29

One star is generous. This "documentary" is intellectual and historical bunk. British accents do not create credibility in a film that has less than a late night infomercial. Don't waste the money. I've already wasted enough time (and I've yet to affix the merchandise return label).

Worthless.......2005-12-13

About the only thing you'll find out from watching this so called documentary is that "La Gioconda", also known as the "Mona Lisa", and Leonardo DaVinci's name can all be decoded to add up to the number 84.

What's the significance of that? The documentary doesn't tell you. After this revelation, it veers off into some unfocused side story about some monk in France who built a shrine to Mary Magdalene, a story about the gnostics, and some supposedly secret societies formed around the holy grail.

If you know about the DaVinci Code, you know it has to do with an alternate telling of the Bible, and pretty much dispels most of what the catholic church has supposedly stood for all these centuries, etc. The main argument is that Mary Magdalene was Jesus' girlfriend, had relations with him, and that we're all descendants of Jesus, blah, blah, blah.

Whether you believe in this alternate theory or not is up to you, but don't look for this documentary to reveal any correlation to any supposed "code" DaVinci lived by.

This "documentary" is another one of the groups trying to capitalize on the success of Dan Brown's The Davinci Code. If any of these are serious about their topic I really hope they keep in mind that the book is in the fiction section. Though sometimes more has been made about the research Dan Brown has done then should be noted, the fact is it is a story even if there are some ideas derived from legend. Legends are generally not real either and many have nothing based in reality.

Before you get all tied up into the cover-up conspiracy of the church you should watch and read about the historical evidence from real scholars. Do yourself a favour and watch The God Who Wasn't There" (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000CAPZBC/002-1128172-2217665) and then the whole DaVinci's Code will seem irrelevant.

If you still love the whole DaVinci's Code mystery then there are other dvds that are better done.

As the overly loud background music begins slightly, to fade out, the camera rests on a large jowled, older professor type of a man with a fake sounding English accent. This, the opening scene of Unlocking Da Vinci's Code, a "documentary" by Ventura studios, is the most realistic shot of the film. From bad reenactments to worse research, the film is unreliable and sadly, still on the shelves. Touted as a "behind the scenes" look at Da Vinci's artworks, the bust of a film plays off of the recent success of the novel The Da Vinci Code, by Dan Brown. Spending only 15 minutes out of an hour long film discussing Da Vinci, the poorly plotted "exploratory" and "revolutionary" movie is a waste of space and worth no stars, on a five star rating.
The experts called on within this film were dreadfully inadequate. For the beginning half, the only commentaries by "experts in the field" were from the co-authors of The Templar Revelation. Now, as a whole, authors are not a bad group. These ones even had a realistic sounding English accent! But as the "facts" behind Da Vinci are revealed, one wishes for more than a solitary source. Later, as more experts are interviewed, the credibility increases. Until one realizes that these "experts" in Christian history are professors of such colleges as Western Michigan University, and Canislus College. Where were all of the professors of well-known colleges? Were they too busy with real documentaries to participate in a backyard film?
The rambling subject matter also leaves much to be desired. Introduced as a film on Da Vinci's secret messages, an enthralling subject for those interested, the only time past the first 15 minutes Da Vinci was discussed was in the second to last sentence of the movie. Worse than a middle school history presentation, this professional and "factual" documentary has no coherent thesis or connection throughout. After discussing the Knights Templar, with the helpful two experts, the narrator moves on to a hardly known topic of the Cathars, apparently a Gnostic branch of the Christian church. Barely relating the two secretive and outlawed sections of the Church, the plotline moves on to the history of the Bible. Now, Da Vinci did have some beef with Christianity, and Catholicism as a whole. But how did Da Vinci, born 1500 years later, influence the writing of the Bible? Not content with this distant connection, narration takes us to the finding of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which apparently were the source of Da Vinci's mysterious and enigmatic paintings. Unless Da Vinci had a time machine, which he might have, the movie failed to cover any of his inventions, it would have been impossible for Da Vinci to gain inspiration from the collection of scrolls found in 1947, almost 500 years after Da Vinci's death.
Beside the total lack of connection between scenes, the worst part of the film would have been the reenactments. For around 20 parts in the scenes, there were a grand total of 5 actors. There were 3 different sets for the entire movie, which had several different scenes. The pope and the Egyptian were played by the same person, utterly confusing a typical viewer. The Egyptian discoverers of the Dead Sea Scrolls were apparently quite fluent in English for camel herders. The staged and awful "fight" scenes were played with swords made of aluminum foil or plastic.
I recommend this movie only to my least favorite person and that only if he or she seriously annoys me. Do not watch this and become convinced of the "truths" that were told. Although some were true, it was from The Da Vinci Code that these screenwriters gleaned all of their ideas. The movie was a waste of an hour and not worth even this lengthy review.

Does a global elite control world events?.......2007-06-17

It may have all began on Jekyll Island, Georgia in the early 1900's. The beginning of a very secretive and sinister plan to initiate a New World Order. This part is speculation but follow on events seemed to demonstrate the truth of these allegations. What is factually known though is that Jekyll Island hosted some of the most influential and powerful bankers in the world and the birth of the Federal Reserve was conceived here.

The Federal Reserve can best be described as an entity controlled by a few massive, private banking houses and families that can manipulate and control the U.S. currency. The American government is not affiliated with the Federal Reserve so it is scary when you think about an elite group that influences a nation's monies for selfish and devious reasons. Examples of some of these reasons explored in this documentary are the Federal Reserve causing the Great Depression of 1929 and having a sizeable impact on orchestrating World War 1 and 2 and other possible conflicts.

Looking even further into this story then brings up the subject of secret societies and introduces organizations such as the Bilderbergs, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), and the Trilateral Commission. Each of these institutions may possibly play a mysterious role in the shaping of world events and even in making decisions on who may or may not be future U.S. presidents and other world leaders. It does sound outlandish until you consider the fact that these groups are made up of the most important and powerful financiers, politicians, and industrialists from the world over. Meetings held by the Bilderbergs are protected by armed guards with a complete media blackout. Suspicious to say the least especially when you consider that some significant global events have occurred within an interesting time frame after these meetings are held.

Some of the information in this program will probably appear to be far fetched and thoughts of conspiracy theory will undoubtedly ring out in many minds. It is best to watch this documentary with an open mind but also be aware that there is a decent amount of interesting, disturbing, and coincidental evidence presented to back up many of the claims made here. No matter how much of it is true or false, the stories told here are both fascinating and oftentimes startling in their own ways and it is entertaining to say the least.

That's right, this film will show how the U.S. bank system is run not by the people, but individual corporations and foreign powers; and how there plot to take over the money system of the free world was a success.
A must see for every American!

I only gave it a 4 star ratting instead of a 5 because it was only 44 mins long, and is listed as being 150 mins long. Other than that, it's a great documentary.

The Shadow Government with the hidden agendas.......2007-06-20

In August of 1987 in Arkansas, two teenagers were murdered and their bodies were placed across a set of train tracks so their bodies could be dismembered. The reason they were killed was because they saw a drug drop from an aircraft in their vicinity and they couldn't be left alive to report what they saw. These deaths themselves are mired in controversy as explained in this program but they opened up the doorway that sheds light on a massive drug smuggling operation that happened right here in America.

The prime location for most of this illegal activity is a place called Mena, Arkansas and the small but extraordinarily busy airport that services this town. This was a base of operations of sorts for aircraft making drug runs to and from South America and ferrying massive amounts of drugs into the United States. Mena has been called the home of Contra gun running, drug smuggling, and covert black operations. It appears that the lucrative nature of this narcotics business is a popular and simple way to fund covert missions when needed (the Iran-Contra scandal is a good example). It was supposed to be mired in secrecy but the government has shown time and again that they are terrible at keeping things quiet but they're experts in damage control, manipulation, lying, and deception.

A key player in this story is the C.I.A. and America's chief drug smuggler Barry Seal who ran his own huge smuggling operation during this time. Questions abound regarding Seal as a CIA agent, how much the American government knew and how complicit they were in all of this, and many other things. Thanks to a large assortment of evidence, eyewitness testimony, video footage, and interviews with key players in this documentary, some of it very solid and some of it circumstantial, it shows very disturbing and shocking events that involve many big names high in the government. It also points out agencies that you ordinarily might not expect to be involved in these types of illicit activities.

I found this documentary to be quite interesting for the most part and the information contained within is highly controversial and thought provoking to say the least. If even half or most of what is presented here is true, it is a scary look at a dark and menacing side of the American government that isn't held accountable for its actions and it poses a real threat to a healthy democracy.

Get This!! People need to know the truth!!.......2004-08-08

You have to see this film. It's 2 hours long, and worth the price. You will be shocked by what goes on in upper government office, and the whole conspiracy to bring in drugs to the U.S. to fund wars in South America and (God knows how many other parts of the world) by top officials in the CIA. Don't get me wrong, there are many people in government that don't even know this is going on, and there are others that know but cant do anything about it!
Even if your a skeptic, you need to see this film, it will make you look at your government with different eyes.

America's most successful and notorious drug smuggler can be easily identified, from certain evidence given, as Barry Seal. Reputed to be a former CIA agent involved in events from flying weapons to Castro insurgents to piloting a getaway plane after the JFK assassination to many more things in-between, his exploits are practically legendary. Much of this occurred before his drug running days which peaked from 1981 to 1986. During this time frame, the government itself estimated that he flew about 5 billion dollars worth of cocaine into a small airport in Mena, Arkansas and this was his base of operations for much of his illegal activity.

Examining the life and times of Barry Seal is a fascinating tale in and of itself because of the information regarding certain people he knew and those supposedly complicit in some of his crimes. The total extent of things he did and those he associated with are even today mired in secrecy to a degree but the names of famous, influential, and powerful people dropped in this story are big ones. Just a few of the many individuals mentioned in this program are Lee Harvey Oswald, David Ferrie, Pablo Escobar, Bill Clinton, Vince Foster, George W. Bush, Edwin Meese, Oliver North, and Asa Hutchinson.

As incredible as all this might sound, research done for this documentary appears to be quite extensive and believable. Even though all the dots might not connect just right, there is a large amount of intriguing evidence, photographs, video footage, eyewitness testimony, interviews and other supporting facts that deserve a hard look. It's a lot to take in and digest all at one time but much of it does make for great controversy and conspiracy theory. A nice companion documentary that builds on and reveals even more of this story, (the producers even recommend watching both of these as they compliment one another), is `Conspiracy: The Secret History: The Secret Heartbeat of America: The C.I.A. and Drugs'.

Watch Out.......2006-08-14

Just wanted to note that after viewing the entire series at a friends house, I, too had wanted a copy of them. Great information and from a fairly reliable and somewhat unbiased source. I have attempted to purchase the series now 3 different times. Each time, (different suppliers) have always mailed only ONE disc to me (even charged my account $80...for one disc?). Just wanted to give a heads up and Watch Out for any 'missing discs'....heck, it might be a conspiracy.......someone does not want me to have the entire series on disc. I have let the suppliers know, but, they continue to list the product. Hope everyone else is getting what they ordered. Question the Answers.......Peace Out.
