Instruction at the highest level.......2006-12-14

This is hands down the most important and best Instruction DVD that I owe or have ever seen. It goes exhaustively into perspective, which means you'll be able to watch it over and over again until you can absorb the depth of what Scott's teaching. He is clear, He is concise, and He is a professional educator and designer, who knows exactly what he's talking about.

A useful guide.......2007-06-27

I like this DVD but found it more useful after having attended art class and also viewd another DVD, Step by Stap Drawing which is really excellent. I find Drawing Techniques good for a person who has modearte knowledge already in the subject. The DVD is also slightly marred by not some enitrely visible photography (inevitable given the very bright outdoor lighting condition) but could have been edited). The tips given are all worthwhile but I wish for a more structured lesson for a beginner. However, as an observation of the creative process of a master at work, I find quite fascinating. A bonus is that the DVD covers both scenery and portrait. This is a DVD I will return and return to catch the many lessons but it is not for the beginner.

Way too expensive for a low quality product. The clarity of the picture is poor. There is not enough content to justify the price. I don't recommend it at all. I feel I've been cheated.
