I bought the latest version of this DVD from Galloping Minds - Baby Learns Alphabet and Phonics. This one is the older version. The new ones start with 'Baby Learns..' Just thought I would add this!!

I bought these videos from Galloping Minds directly and frankly my daughter Kate loves it. The sales person at Galloping Minds informed me that there is a very old version, that needs to be thrown out of the window. If you have the old version, it can be exchanged for the new version free of cost.
Well, I tried making my daughter Kate watch it and she is absolutely hooked to it. She loves the animation and all the live animals. She says the letters along with the videos. She can also recognize most letters- uppercase and lower case.
The capital letters, lowercase letters and the spelling help in teaching my daughter. The video is nice and long .. so helps in providing guilt free TV watching.
I liked the light music accompanying the video. The version is very engaging. I fond my neighbors daughter also wanted to be at our place to watch the video. I loaned it to her.
Anyway, I think the DVD is colorful, interesting and a great learning tool!!
I think this new version is very engaging. Galloping Minds has definitely improved on its old version. If by chance you have picked up the oldest version out there, call them up or email them.
Excellent and Entertaining, Educational DVD.......2004-11-14
My daughter loves this one. She looks around the house and everywhere we go and tells me what letter things start with. I was a bit surprised. And I am now, one happy mom. Exposure to far more things in this video than the others..My daughter and I love it.
