Princess Constance rejects every suitor who asks for her hand, even handsome King Thrushbeard. She soon regrets it, for her father—fed up with her willfulness—marries her off to a poor minstrel. Forced to live a life of hard labor, Constance undergoes a miraculous change as she learns to love her husband without knowing who he really is.
Sleeping Beauty
The inhabitants of Sleeping Beauty's castle are dozing away in broad daylight, and the chef has even fallen asleep while slapping the kitchen boy! The castle has been entwined with thorns, with a little help from the fairy Bianca. It turns out that a beautiful girl, an offended evil fairy, and a spindle are the main ingredients of this ancient secret.
The Two Princesses
Alina appears first as a beautiful princess who cries pearls for tears, then again as an old and ugly goosemaid. First she hides in the deepest forest, next she appears in the castle's throne room. One moment her hair is blonde, then it's black...or is there more than one Alina?
