This DVD is easy to understand and does explain the fundamentals of Argentine Tango. I used this DVD prior to taking a basic Tango class and felt very confident when I got there. Not to mention, that my Tango instructors studied with Fabian Salas in Argentina! Highly recommended!!

Fabian Salas is phenomenal -- but it takes two. His partner in this video is Cecilia Gonzalez. She's the closest thing to both pure magic and zen clarity in the Tango world, as an instructor & performer.

I like this DVD, it's very easy to follow, you can surf the chapters very easy through the DVD menu. It has 10 Chapters and it goes from the easy ones to the hard ones. I buy it for my wedding because we need to practice it and it was wonderful. If you are thinking in buy it, make sure first to have a big space in your room for dancing.

I definitely recommend this DVD!

Very informative on the basic fundamentals of pitching. Many coaches have viewed this video and found it extremely helpful when trying to start young girls out pitching.

This video is fairly informative, however, I don't go for the robotics type training. I have trouble getting my students, who have started with this type of training, to get into the reality of pitching.

I pitched fastpitch softball for over 35 years and I wouldn't recommend the robotics type of beginning.

I will immediatly use this with my young pitchers. The coach is clear and concise. He breaks down each step and then puts it all together. I highly recommend this DVD!

Best Pitching Techniques Video.......2005-08-02

This video is truly worth the asking price. In a few minutes of watching the video, my 10 year old daughter went from not being able to reach home plate from the pitchers mound to being able to reasonably throw pitch after pitch over the plate at speed. The techniques are simple and easy to emulate. The video shows the things to do correctly and also the things to NOT DO and trouble areas. It is geared towards both older and younger players with no experience. My 10 year old watches it daily and then runs outside to try what she just learned. It is a world-class coach in a box. Unlike many sports training tapes this video is long and filled with key tips. It is not just 12 minutes of a single tip leading you to another tape to get the other techniques. This video stands alone. Well worth the money a dozen times over!

This is hands down the best DVD I've seen for youth basketball coaches seeking teaching techniques and offensive and defensive strategies. Disk one teaches every aspect of individual mechanics.

Disk two takes the coach through practice organization with drills designed for four areas (1) offense to defense, (2) defense, (3) defense to offense, and (4) offense. The defense sections teaches both man and zone strategies, while the offense section teaches both man and zone offensive schemes.

The practice and team organization disk is taught primarily by a 9 time national champion youth AAU coach. This is particularly good for the youth coach because the instructor distinguishes between those drills and strategies designed for older players and those designed for the 8-10 yr old player.

This is a great resource that I expect to use for years to come and the quality of the DVD matches what one would expect from a two-time MVP.

I just received it in the mail today and caught the first 20 minutes of Disc 1. I'm extremely grateful that you made these DVD's Steve! Improve your game........2006-04-17

This DVD is the best basketball instructional DVD on the market. Disc one covers the most basic fundamentals from ball handling, shooting, passing, and defense. This DVD has improved my game dramatically.

It has help me with my shot, especially my release, he offers secret ways to help perfect that soft touch shooting release that hs made him so successful.
He shares his very own ball handling practice drills consisting from crossovers, spins, behind the back dribble, and between the legs. I am 6ft6 and handle almost like a point guard because of this DVD.

While Steve primarily works with kids, aging from 8 to 13 years old, this DVD will help anyone's game. The DVD is very professional with use of certain camera angles while drill routines are being performed.

Disc two is more focused on team play and practice organization, Steve, along with a fellow coach, demonstrate drills of fast breaks, defensive stops, offense, and much more. This could be helpful for any young aspiring coach.
You can insert this disc into your PC DVD-ROM drive and download the entire team play and practice organization guide.

Overall I would recommend this DVD to any aspiring basketball player.

For years Earvin "Magic" Johnson has been dedicated to educating on the importance of the fundamentals of basketball, going as far back to the year 1989 when he released the wonderful book "Magic's Touch" with Roy S. Johnson. In "Magic Johnson's Comprehensive Fundamentals," Magic's enthusiasm and charisma come through during both of the instructional DVDs. One example is evident in the segment about cone dribbling. As Magic executes the exercise he demonstrates a humility and sense of humor that humanizes the presentation in a way that few other instructional DVD's do. The DVDs included in the set cover fundamental drills on shooting, ball handling, defense, post play and passing. The drills included in all of the above areas are necessary for any player to master.

In addition, the workout booklet included with the DVD is worth much more than the price of the DVDs. The workout includes drills on shooting, ball handling, cone drills, passing, and most importantly, condidtioning. Magic himself used to do wind sprints before playing all day and credits much of his success to the extra effort he put in before he practiced five on five. Furthermore, if any player follows the five out of seven day work out religiously they will see tremendous advances in their skills and abilities. My eleven year old son is proof of that as he has taken all of his abilities to a higher level and has become a much better player in just the last few months.

Many other DVD's on the market are excellent as well. Better Basketball, Coach K, Five Star, and Gannon Baker are the absolute pinnacle of basketball instruction. However, Magic Fundamentals is an entirely different product because it covers all of the basic and vital points a young player must practice and master in one set of two DVDs.

The honest truth that few young players want to hear is becoming a great player takes a superhuman time and effort committment. Many past and present college and pro players have told stories of playing 8-10 hours a day during the summer and 2-4 hours a day during the school year. If young players are willing to put in the work, they must incorporate these DVDs in their workouts to reach their full potential.

EXCELLENT VIDEO.......2006-07-10

After being benched for most of the entire season, I picked up this video with 2 months left of the year. I practice 3 hours a day after school. I did the drills over and over again. I went from the 12th man to starting lineup. In the final tournament, my cofidence is so high that I eventually got all the trust from my coach. I wound up with 37 points in the final game and won first place in Alberta. I was named MVP and my coach couldn't be happier watching my growth. Thanks Magic.

All I wanted was to know the rules about basketball. I am a fan and enjoy watching the Heat play but, I do not understand
all the rules, especially the fowls so I was hoping the DVD WOULD EXPLAIN THEM.

This DVD version of the previous VHS tape of Volume 2 is great. There is a chapter for each lesson, which allows easy and fast access to any part of the video. The quality of the video is excellent, and instruction is superb. Learning the "caminadas" is crucially important for anybody who wants to learn the authentic argentine tango.

This is a nice and easy way to get into the world of tango. The instruction is very simple. The progression from lesson to lesson is easy and quick. The quality of production is quite high. The teachers are absolutely superb. Their footwork, movements, and rhythm are amazing to watch. I am not an advanced dancer, but I was able to learn the basic caminadas very fast by using this video.

This volume 2 is even better than volume 1. It builds upon the concepts and structures learned in volume 1 and opens the door into the incredible world of Argentine tango improvisation. This video contains very sophisticated and challenging tango walking exercises that will boggle the mind of unprepared novice dancer. I really needed to go back to Volume 1 of this series to prepare myself to the mental challenges presented by the master - Fabian Salas. Yet, once I practiced early lessons enough times, the seemingly difficult patterns began to become easy, and progress was quick and satisfying. This video is for keeps. No other teacher even comes close. Can't wait for Volume 3.

As an investor I found this DVD very informative and priced less than most investment videos. I liked the direct advice from seasoned professionals and the detailed strategy for investors. Fabian Salas is a well known dancer and dance improver. Anyway this video does not show all he can give about Turns (I know, Basic, too basic...)
The material covered is in progressive sequence and is well explained in good english.
Lessons are a bit of redundant just like you could not use your Rewind button to see what happens. The feeling is the video is slow and short at a time -58min.
This dvd is not expensive but could cover more for sure.

This series is among the best I have seen in ballroom dance instruction. Attending milongas (get togethers devoted to Argentinian tango)has been difficult without an understanding of the basics. This three part series develops the confidence you need to attend milongas.

The instructor delivers on his promise. The steps are easy to learn and the instruction is easy to follow. The progression is quick and, once again, easy. Image quality is excellent and various camera angles are very helpful. Overall, a must have volume for beginners or even teachers (why not copy something that works so well?). Nicely done.

Giros is what separates true argentine dancers from pretenders. Pretenders are the ones who can make ochos and ganchos, etc., but can't really execute turns (giros). This video makes learning the traditionally challenging giros easy. The exercises are excellent and progression is quick.
