very enjoyable cartoon. one of my favorites. a must have for my collection.
Disappointing DVD package.......2007-01-10
If searches on the web are correct, this DVD is the only choice for us fans of this Saturday morning cartoon show. The original series contains thirty-some episodes, but this package only has eleven or so cartoons, for a total playing time of 90 minutes. The DVD has no further extras.
Awesome stuff, but not the classic........2006-10-19
If you are looking for the classic cartoon (or something like it), look elsewhere.
However, if you want a modern interpretation of the classic cartoon along with an incredible soundtrack done by an eclectic multipiece band, then this DVD is for you.
Excellent writing, strong humor, and definitely twisted (without being offensive). While generally safe for the younger set, adult cartoon fans will enjoy this, too. Great party backdrop.
we need more Twisted Tales!.......2006-07-06
I didn't know what to expect from this newer take on Felix, but I was very pleasantly surprised by how much fun it is. It's different and very Twisted (in a good way) yet still Felix. Twisted Tales is a fantastic show. I wish the rest of the episodes were available.
poor imitation.......2006-03-15
I grew up watching felix the cat and his magic bag but this particular new felix is unimpressive. Nothing spontaneous and it's flavorless. The old black and white version was way funnier and very original. This new Felix lacks any thrill, it's dull and the music is so "over-xeroxed". The voice-overs are lifeless, it felt too read from the script. The old silent films have more to say. Twisted Tales of Felix is a wasted effort.
