entertaining for my 18 mo old.......2007-05-13

my 18 mo old enjoys this video. i think he'll appreciate the humor more as he gets older, but for now he likes the music and songs. not a lot of kids in the video - mostly characters - which is fine, but my son happens to like to see the kids. the video is on the shorter side. think it's about 30 min. but overall we like it a lot.

My daughter received this as a gift almost 10 years ago. Mom, Dad, daugher and baby all danced! We played it so many times that our family (my daughter is now 11) still will break out singing "Put Down the Ducky!" It is great fun!

Best of the Sesame Street DVDs.......2007-01-10

I've purchased about 5-6 Sesame Street DVDs and will probably purchase more. But this is the best of the bunch. It's not too long. All the songs are pretty catchy with some old time favorites like the Ladybugs' Picnic. I find myself singing them. Best of all, my son first saw this when he was abou 10 months old and it was the only DVD that caught his interest. He's 16 months now and still enjoys this one (along with Thomas but that's an entirely different thing in a little boys life...) If you children like music, this one is a sure fire hit.

My daughter watches this video over and over, and loves to sing along with the songs. Her two older brothers don't even mind watching it and know all of the songs by heart. Personally I love the song by James Taylor! This DVD is a definate attention getter and keeper.

One of my favorites as a youngster.......2006-07-23

I had a VHS copy of this as a kid, and let me tell you, it was my favorite thing EVER. I don't remember the songs too well now, but I knew every word. I even had dreams about Big Bird and that rotating bow tie!

I can't recommend this as a parent, but I can definitely give it two thumbs up as a kid. Very catchy and fun.
