Barney goes global during an imaginative romp around the world, in this hour-long stage show performed before a live audience. As the musical adventure begins, Barney introduces Sarah, Donny, Mike, and Gina--the show's hosts--who sing, dance, and gleefully interact with the preschool crowd. Then, it's off to faraway lands by bus, boat, and airplane to visit the rainforest, Arctic, beach, and undersea world. Along the way, they'll meet toe-tappin' toucans, a dancing polar bear, and glittering sea creatures. In each new place, Barney and the gang jump into colorful costumes to lead the audience in songs that rouse participation. Although a few new songs appear in the lineup, the show is a solid hit among deliriously excited youngsters because of its comforting familiarity. Over a dozen songs are longstanding favorites, including: "Wheels on the Bus," "Mister Sun," "B-I-N-G-O," "Imagine," and "I Love You." We saw Barney's Colorful World in Worcster MA Centrum Centre.
Mom's favoirte part is the confetti flies down. Rodney likes the Barney doll sits on the mini idea bench. Morgan likes the smoke out of the barney doll. That was the best show ever!

Great educational stuff (and fun too!) .......2005-09-23

I had the fortune to take my kids to see this partcular show , and as soon as I saw this DVD advertised I had to have it. And there I was, tapping my feet in rhythm to the songs. The original show (albeit a tad short at 90minutes), is reproduced faithfully in this disc. The values of family, love, entertainment and of course learning, are passed on to the viewers with ease. the Barney DVDs are an endless source of education. You might hate the songs, but there is no disputing the fact that when children are having fun, they learn more. Totally recommended.
