The dvd will teach you (your child) how to say; triangle, circle, rectangle and oval in Spanish and that is all. One catchy song, which sings about triangles, circles, rectangles and ovals. Lots of footage with no dialogue, in fact most of the dvd contains no dialogue. A total waste of money if you or your child are interested in learning Spanish.

Great Educational Video AND fun to watch!.......2005-08-19

This is a very good video on learning shapes for kids. My daughter is 14 months and even though she doesn't know any shapes, she enjoys this video from start to finish and asks to watch it every day. It has a lot of Spanish dialogue and music which makes it fun. I highly recommend it!

My daughter loves it!! It very entertaining and teaches the shapes and some colors with a very good Spanish and pronunciation. I like the music! Includes a good selection of traditional music from Latin America and also toys and objects that common there.

Delightful and Educational.......2005-02-24

I found Las Formas to be delightful and educational. My daughter is 2 1/2 years old and she is addicted to this video. After her second time watching the video she began repeating the words. The video is "light on dialogue" but it is for ages 6 months to 5 years of age. It is an introduction to Spanish for children, with 5 lessons, not a boring college course for adults. Las Formas also has its own song that teaches children that shapes can be found all around you, and is filled with great music throughout. My daughter loves it and has learned from it. I can't wait to see the next release.

Not much dialogue.......2005-02-23

While the DVD is engaging, there isn't much dialogue. It is mainly a lot of Baby Einstein type video clips set to music and there is one song which is repeated exactly at the beginning and end. It's not of too much use if you're using the DVD to help teach your child Spanish.
