Fun, exciting, and informational.......2007-02-13

My little boy (20 months) loves these DVD's, though he's partial to the one with "There goes a Bulldozer... Monster Truck... Tank." This DVD is full of action pretty continuously, and he likes the interaction between Dave and other people. Until recently, he was not too interested in the others but has grown more patient as he understands better what he's seeing. I recommend the set, or else you'll be stuck with the same one - over and over and over and over ... He will sit for half hour or so while I make the parts of dinner where he can't help. We let it play while we color pictures of trains, tractors, etc. lending a vocabulary lesson to the benefits. Oh, and the special features include fun songs and interactive stuff like demolishing buildings.

I originally bought the Mighty Truck Adventures on clearance at Babies R Us. My 3 year old son and I thought it was great. So I got the whole box set for him. All the dvd's are wonderful. Each dvd has 3 stories, 30 minutes each. Ahhh....1 1/2 hours of peace. They keep his attention & they are informative. Dave, the host, is very funny and is always getting himself into trouble. It is a great gift also.

I also got my son the There Goes the Mail Truck, which is a great video too. If you can find it, get it. I think it only comes in VHS.

Too much talk, not enough trucks.......2007-01-17

Gave this as a gift. Just watched one of the set. Seemed like too much time on the hosts and not enough time showing the big trucks.

My grandsons really enjoy these dvd's. The only problem I had was that one of them did not work. The boys are 3 and 4 and will sit and watch these shows for at least 45 minutes.

Great For My Kid.......2007-01-10

My kid (age 2.75) has been very into vehicles of all kinds, especially contruction equipment, since he was still crawling. These videos are awesome for him, and he loves them. They are even mildly amusing and interesting for adults, too.
