5 out of 5 stars Best DVD ever!.......2006-03-07

Where to begin! Well? This is the best purchase for a DVD I have ever made and I'm glad I did. I am from Kansas city Mo. and Tech has been trying to get where he is today. He lost friends, money, and a few record labels treated him badly. In my personal opinion that makes him a strong man to keep pressin' on. Lots of interviews are great. Lots are from his step father, Yukmouth, JT Quick at Hot 103 Jamz, and even Shawn Tyler who used to be a head of a&r at a record label in La and now works at the same station here. Big Kris Kalico does the narration for the DVD and it's excellent. Tech even talks about the fact that he met and worked with Quincy Jone's son QD3 at Qwest records. He even talks about Icy rock who is someone I also know. There are excellent videos that you also get to look at. Two never seen before and "Slacker." In the dvd, you also see Mr. Talkbox himself! Mr. Roger Troutman! You see him with Tech n9ne, and Don Juan working on the song "Twisted" and being silly with Tech's wife on the talkbox while he is talking to her on the phone. Great DVD for the Tech N9ne fan! Go Tech! Go tech! Go Tech!!!!!

4 out of 5 stars Ahead of his time.......2005-05-04

This DVD which chronicles the career of Tech N9ne is fascinating and worth the purchase price. Tecca Nina was rapping with a style from 2010 way back in the early 90s. Its a good story, but it would have been better if they put more music on this dvd. They talk about how dope Mitch Bade is and then they dont play any of it for those who have not heard it. They do the same with the QD3 song and the Roger song. As a result the narration becomes a little overdramatic and corny without music. My favorite moments are: Black Walt talking about how he gave Tech his name, Tech's father in law saying 'let's get crunked up', the old photos of Tech's crazy show costumes, and Roger Troutman talking to Tech's wife on the phone while using the vocoder keyboard. The way the labels did Tech was foul and I hope he will be vindicated. His delivery is what gets most peoples attention but the lyrics are not superficial at all, he is really a complete MC. The west coast has a lot of respect for him, he has got the reputation of a savage out here. He can seriously rip most rappers to shreds faster than Travis O Guin can rip apart a box of Little Debbie Snack Cakes

5 out of 5 stars Watch out Cuz here comes Tecca Ninna!.......2004-08-06

Tech N9ne is one of the best rappers out there, and if you doubt then watch this DVD and lay all doubt to rest. The DVD shows you his roots and all the ups and downs of his career. Plus the bonus features are awesome, Bohemian Rapsody. Tech brings wicked fast rhymes combined with real life experiences. He's not afraid to let his fans into his life. I'm from Springfield, Mo and Tech reps Kansas City, Mo in a way no one else can come close to. His following has become much larger since touring with the Insane Clown Posse and winning over the Juggalos. Tecca Ninna has mad crazy skills. Check out his website www.therealtechn9ne.com. Also check out his albums Anghellic and Absolute Power.

5 out of 5 stars Learn about Mr. Tech N9na.......2004-08-05

I loved this DVD. I admit, I wasn't a Tech N9ne fanatic in any way before purchasing this DVD. I know Tech N9ne has a flow and lyrics that can't be touched and considered myself to be a fan of his music.

After watching this DVD you learn to appreciate what Tech N9ne has had to do just to get his music out to you, the listener. If at any point was someone not completely dedicated to hip hop and had love for their music, they would have quit after going what he had gone through. Although Tech didn't quit, he persisted and lost money, friends, and in some cases respect from his hometown to get to the level he is today. Does this mean he sold out? Not in any way. He attempted to bring all those that love him on this journey he's gone through, but the hatorade that comes along with the game strikes again.

The DVD itself is a great documentary and is reminiscent of the Beef documentary as the voice sounds a lot like Ving Rhames, and they drop the drama and exciting parts the same. There are very good production funding put forth into this DVD by Strange Music and the production reflects that. There are also some interviews from some of my favorite rap artists (Jayo Felony, Yukmouth), and a video recording session from the late great Roger Troutman (for you rookies that's Mr. Computer Love himself).

The music videos are great, Slacker is a humorous video of, well... Tech N9ne being a slacker. I'ma Tell is by far the best video on the disc, and has become one of my favorite music videos. The extras are decent, made worth while by a funny interview with Yukmouth, well you'll see what I'm talking about.

If you are a hesitant fan of Tech N9ne, or a fanatic, there is no question, get this DVD. It's cheap, Tech N9ne is a rapper that deserves support, isn't being played by radio, TV, plays the game right, and always provides us with the siccest flows and lyrics possible.

COP THIS DVD. 5 stars out of 5.

TECH N9NE!!!!!!!!!!
Tech is tha most hardcore rapper out there. 2pac,slim shady,& Dr. Dre just don't compare to him. Tech's lyrics are more moving, powerful, and inspiring than any other artist's. (...) ALL OF IT! He's that good and so is this dvd! If you haven't bought any of his albums I recomend ANGEHLIC REPARATION & ABSOLUTE POWER! This dvd talks about his life, his struggles, and his accomplishments. Buy it! It's the best music out there today and will always be.
