Sesame Street's cheerful redhead chuckles his way through this delightful 50-minute compilation of three favorite "Elmo's World" episodes. First come the babies: real babies, Muppet babies, and animal babies. With help from Mister Noodle, a cast of Muppets, and video vignettes featuring humans, Elmo discovers what babies can do and how to play with them. Next come the dogs. Once again, Elmo's on the move--this time to share important tips about respecting the family pet. The final episode examines life on the farm. Viewers will observe youngsters accomplishing daily farm chores as well as Muppet farmers and barn animals punning around. As Elmo bops around his house (simply drawn and "furnished" with color crayon sketches), he chats with Dorothy the pet goldfish, poses questions to Mister Noodle, and tunes in to his friendly television for helpful cartoons presented by "The Baby Channel," "The Dog Channel," and of course, "The Farm Channel." Educational and entertaining for the younger crowd, each segment explores its topic using a variety of creative, quick-paced methods, enhanced by an upbeat soundtrack. (Ages 3 to 6) --Liane Thomas

5 out of 5 stars Big winner for the little one.......2007-07-04

My little one is ga ga for Elmo and this gives it up in spades. She really likes this one and it's perfect for someone her age-around 15months.

5 out of 5 stars I've seen it 100 times already.......2007-06-27

My DD loves this one. The stories are short enough so that the child doesn't get bored...but long enough to teach them something. I would pay double for this one- She loves it that much.

5 out of 5 stars Can't lose with Elmo!.......2007-06-26

My 2 year-old son loves almost anything Elmo, so this was a no-brainer. This was the first Elmo's World DVD I bought for him, because he loves dogs and farms. It turns out, though, that the baby segment is his favorite. We like to sing along with "Old MacDonald." Now that we have Tivo, I could have just recorded the last 20 minutes of Sesame Street every day, but this DVD was a nice addition to our library.

5 out of 5 stars 3 Baby Favorites!!!.......2007-03-27

This DVD has my daughters 3 favorite subjects, Babies, Dogs and Farm. My 1 year old wakes up every morning and sits on her Zebra, points to the TV, and says "bow wow wow wow" which mean "I want to watch Elmo's World about Dogs"

She likes all three episodes but the Dogs stick out for her because she has seen (and been afraid of) real dogs)

3 out of 5 stars Not my first choice.......2007-02-07

My 20 month old son will tolerate this video if we put it in, but it isn't one of his favorites. I'm not a big fan of videos where the characters baby talk. I realize that's kind of Elmo's trademark, but Elmo is a bit of a "mush mouth" in this particular video. There are lots of times when my husband and I can't figure out what Elmo has just said. If your looking for a Sesame Street video, I'd pass on this one and go for "Kids Favorite Songs". My son loves it!
