Super Instruction for Beginners and Advanced Players.......2006-04-05

This 10 DVD Tennis series offers terrific insight into the game. I like Pro Jensen's teaching method of building your game from the ground up. He is always interesting and keeps your attention throughout each program. I really thought I had a decent game until I went through each of these DVDs. It was nothing but eye opening about how off my techniques really were. With the help of this set I've made numerous simple adjustments to my strokes, footwork and court strategies that have brought my game up many notches. For example the simple punch stroke as he calls it in the Volleys DVD has made me a much more consistent and accurate net player. This simple stroke keeps my ball in play where before I was constantly over swinging and hitting my Volleys out. This technique alone was worth the price of the series. I have easily come away with 5 or more game improving techniques from each DVD and when added up make for 50 plus improvements to my game. I am elated with my better play and all I can say is get the set and see for yourself how fast you can improve.

A Treausre Chest Of Tennis Techniques.......2005-07-18

I recently received the James Jensen Pro Tennis Lessons 10 DVD Boxed Set as a Father's Day Gift and it is surely one of the best gift's I've ever received. As a certified 38 year old 4.5 Tennis fanatic who plays an average 5 days a week the DVDs have given me a tremendous resource for improving my overall play. I refer to the DVDs constantly especially if I played poorly in a match, by viewing the lessons I can discover what I was doing wrong and quickly learn the techniques needed to improve my skills. It's an astounding set of lessons which covers all the important details for better play and match strategies. Pro Jensen is charismatic and a true expert of the game who does all the instruction while performing each technique in a flawless easy to comprehend motivating manner. A true master work and treasure chest full of techniques for anyone whishing to advance their tennis skills as a single or doubles tournament competitor.

I have been playing tennis and buying books and videos for over the past 20 years but none of the material I have collected can compare to the teaching and techniques on the James Jensen's Pro Tennis Lessons DVD's! Tom Avery's Consistent tennis Wins Video series is the by far the most effective self contained video tennis lessons I have ever had! Being new to tennis and taking lessons from several pros I would forget my lessons, with Toms video series I always have that refresher lesson sitting in my VCR. Tom Averys Videos have given me a new love for the game, being a consistent player now, I play the game even more. I purchased the first tape for my wife and found It to be just what I needed, my game has become consistently better from viewing these tapes. I especially loved the tape for my serve I was ready to leave the game and Toms simple tips made my first serve percentage rise from about 40% to 80%, for the dollar this tape has big bang. Getting Positive Results.......2006-05-13

This program is well presented and organized. The Coach is extremely knowledgeable about the game and his training routines effective. Following the routines diligently I have gotten stronger and way more flexible. My range of motion has improved which I attribute to a big increase in my Serve's power and speed. I never understood how to warm-up before a match so the pre-match warm-up exercises were a big help. As a slow starter they get me warmed up quickly and into the rhythm of play much earlier than before.

I am happy with this purchase, the program has answered my many questions about injuries and getting in better overall shape for the game.

This is not 2 movies. It's one movie and 30 minutes of trailers called "Teen Mania." Also, there is no nudity whatsoever in "Naked Youth". For that reason alone, I suggest boycotting all "Johnny Legend" releases.

More proof that circuses are evil and circus films are awful.......2005-09-26

I went into this film hoping for a touch of horror; after all, Barn of the Naked Dead would seem to imply that there are going to be dead people (apparently naked) involved. Well, a handful of people do die, but we don't get to see any kind of gory details of the kills, and, strangely enough, there is no nudity whatsoever to be found here. Normally, that would not be a problem, but the film title promises us naked dead people and fails to deliver any skin whatsoever - that's just not right. There is a barn in the movie, though - I have to give them credit for coming through with that promise. The movie itself is pretty hard to watch. Almost against my better judgment, I'm rounding up and giving the movie two stars just because they did establish a plot and actually followed through on it. A bit of unnecessary silliness at the end did nothing to raise my opinion of the film, though.

What we have here are three young ladies traveling to Las Vegas in order to perform in a show. One of them knows a great shortcut through the desert - you know nothing good is going to come of that. Well, they end up stranded in the middle of the desert overnight; the next morning, though, help arrives in the form of a nice young man who offers to drive them to a phone, etc. But wouldn't you know it? The nice young man is actually a psycho who thinks himself the ring leader of a very special circus - a circus made up of female human "animals." He has quite a menagerie already, although he doesn't seem to be training them for much of anything. When they get out of line, he takes the whip to them, and when any one of them proves herself unwilling to be trained, he takes it upon himself to discipline her severely.

I have certainly seen worse exploitation films than this one, but that doesn't make Barn of the Naked Dead a good movie. While the acting of Andrew Prine as the insane ring master is actually quite good, a significant number of roles went to actors and actresses of less impressive quality. The print of this film is also very bad. The colors are the polar opposite of vibrant; this film could deteriorate horrendously in the coming years without anyone even being able to notice. I didn't care for the ending, as it introduced an element that robbed the film of the bit of effectiveness it had managed to generate, yet there is a story here that holds together and makes sense - and that keeps it from being a truly bad movie.
