"May Flowers" is a romanticized look at Julia, a petite, free spirited college girl, who finds some very charming and enchanting approaches to keeping herself amused, while allowing her laundry to dry. While being mesmerized by her inquisitive eyes, and delicate features, we are also treated to a portrayal of simple innocence, that is quite often overlooked in today's media, especially when females are asked to part with their clothing.

In the opening scene, dressed in a light cotton nightie, Julia is blissfully barefoot in the cool green grass, as she strolls by with her basket of laundry. With the warm sun shining on her skin, and the soft breeze blowing through her hair, Julia's radiant beauty is complimented by a colorful garden setting. After thoughtfully arranging her bright collection of skirts, tops, and other delicates out to dry on the line, she pauses for a cool sip of water. The alluring scent of lilacs fills the garden with a sweet smell, which provides Julia with a bit of playful inspiration. She goes from one end of the garden, to the other, in search of just the right flowers to use in accessorizing her appearance. Her breezy nightie barely clings to her body as it gracefully eases off one shoulder, only to slide off the other, as she gently draws the delicate fabric back up to cover her partially revealed breasts.

Julia returns to a sunny place in her sanctuary, to admire the lavender lilacs that she has gathered. She relishes the warm sun on her bare breasts, as she hangs up the nightie that she has so gracefully removed. With flowers in her hair, and adorning the waist line of her panties, Julia proudly parades her bold fashion statement on her own make believe runway. Periodically, Julia will return to playing out her runway fantasy, utilizing the colorful wardrobe that is so conveniently drying nearby. As any venturous girl can tell you, the delight in playing dress up, is only exceeded by the wonderful feeling of freedom that comes with the resulting nakedness when the those same clothes are removed outdoors, whenever the opportunity presents itself.

As the sun reaches higher in the sky, Julia must find more than just the shade to escape the rising heat. With an adequate source of fresh water nearby, she immerses her hair, and then liberally splashes refreshing coolness on her bare skin. [...].

When the warm sun and the fresh air begin to overwhelm, causing Julia to feel tired and fatigued, she begins to check the progress of the light spring air on her freshly washed cottons. Either because she is too tired to care, or it is simply too hot to wear clothes, in a stunning state of au naturel, she slowly begins to collect her belongings. Her tanned and nicely toned body moves gracefully among the soft fabrics gently flowing in the breeze against her delicate skin. And like a dream that should never end, Julia shows how completely at ease she is with her nudity, as she gathers up her laundry basket of clothes and exits her little Garden of Eden.

No justice to gardens here.......2003-08-18

The filming is quick and so fasted paced that it is not even relaxing to view. Garden shots are short without sweeping views of large area. The viewer does not have enough time to enjoy a beautiful scene before it is being chopped onto the next photo. The section on Japanese Gardens show a few quick shots of the same garden over and then reverts to the quick filming of opening roses and other flowers. This tirck is used over and over through out the DVD, as if it was a filler or some new trick the camera operator just figured out how to do. Close ups of gardens are common without any real sense of where the photo is being shot. The visual themes accompinging each song often have only a little in common with the title. I found the DVD so unejoyable to watch that I am very sorry I spent money on it.
Gardens of The World with Audrey Hepburn is a much better and more plesant DVD to view. Gardens of the World is a DVD you can relax to. The Beauty of Flowers and Gardens does no justice to nature and its beauty.

Fresh Cut...... ummmm, oh yeah, Flowers........2006-04-04

Wasn't sure what to expect from this DVD and when I started watching it, I really didn't know where it was going at first either. After a while, I realized that it wasn't supposed to go anywhere or do anything but provide a voyeuristic glimpse of this beautiful girl that looks like the type you see at the mall. You know the type, the one that makes you start to drool when thinking about what she looks like naked, tanning in her backyard like girls did years ago. What's so neat about this video is you can tell it really is set up in a backyard somewhere, and making you wonder if there are any beautiful women in your own neighborhood picking and arranging flowers all carefree and nude in their private backyard somewhere.

There really isn't a plot to spoil or give away, but this girl "Kristy" basically starts out at the beginning of the video wearing very pretty whie bra and panties. She keeps you in suspense for a while as you wonder if she is going to at least take her bra off. She really does look so awesome while wearing clothes, but you can't help but to keep saying over and over that she is all alone in this backyard, she may as well take advantage of it and remove the last of what little clothes she is wearing. She goes for a little walk after working with the flowers for a bit, and finds an old trunk of clothes by some bushes, and soon the viewers prayers are answered when she takes off the last of what she is wearing and tries on a few pieces of clothing that seem to appeal to her liking. She looks to be getting tired after a little bit and heads back to her flowers for some last minute touches. By now she is completely nude and very relaxed as she leans back in her chair and falls asleep. While she sleeps the camera gives us these incredible long gazes at her beautiful unclothed body. The disclaimer in the DVD says that there is nothing sexual in the video, and they are exactly right. It doesn't even come close to being erotic at all, but the artistic style and long gazes at the seemingly completely normal nudity leaves you very much wanting more.

I gave it a 4 only because I wish it would have been much longer. Something like this I can watch all day long and not get tired of it. It's very tranquil and relaxing, which is what the doctor ordered for my blood pressure.
