Excellent performance & teaching but no written music or tab.......2005-06-10

I bought this DVD hoping to learn at least some of the included songs. Doug Smith's performances are a pleasure to watch, and his detailed teaching on each piece is very helpful and enlightening. However (and this is a huge however), the publishers did not include a pdf file with the music/tab on the DVD. If the written music file was included, this would be a 5-star-plus, but even with Doug's excellent performance and teaching (including left and right-hand views), it will be very difficult to learn these songs without written music. I will now have to buy the book-CD with the sheet music for another $16.50...

Unlike many DVD lessons which are merely video transfers this lesson features audiophile sound and fantastic image quality. Also during the lessons you can use the remote to view either his left or right hand closeups or full view....amazing! there are also bonus songs and the option to view the performance only!!! whether you want to watch this guitarist just play his tunes or get a wonderful lesson this DVD is the real deal ....oh and it is ALL REGION not region 1 as amazon states!!!
