Description
In this dark and dangerous Film Noir-meets-German Expressionism directorial debut from veteran visual effects man Les Bernstien, paunchy ex-con Joe Butcher heads South of the Border, tumbling head first into the boiling vat of corruption that supports Tijuana's thriving snuff film industry. Through a booze-induced haze, Butcher encounters a Mexican spitfire, a grizzled drunk, a villainous dwarf and an obese sexpot, as he frantically retraces his brother's final steps through seed and grime, to unravel his mysterious death.

Night Train Murders
You can tell yourself it's only a movie... but it won't help!
It was released as SECOND HOUSE ON THE LEFT, NEW HOUSE ON THE LEFT and TORTURE TRAIN. The ads screamed, "Most movies last less than two hours! This is one of everlasting torment! It remains one of the most graphically fiendish films in exploitation history, the story of two teenage girls traveling through Europe, forced into a nightmare of sexual assault and sadistic violence. Irene Miracle (MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, INFERNO), Flavio Bucci (SUSPIRA), Macha Meril (DEEP RED),and Marina Berti (WHAT HAVE THEY DONE TO OUR DAUGHTER'S) star in this depraved shocker directed by Aldo Lado (SHORT NIGHT OF THE GLASS DOLLS, WHO SAW HER DIE?) and featuring a haunting score by Ennio Morricone. Experience evil gone off the rails: NIGHT TRAIN MURDERS is now presented uncensored with all-new Extras for the first time ever in America.

Take The Bus Next Time.......2007-01-21
Italian cinema in the 1970's, the home of cheap imitations and ruthless money obsessed producers whose last concern was the creative or artistic endeavours of their directors. Despite the mercenary capitalism of Italian film production, a few genre films of note drifted out of the mediocrity. Aldo Lado's 1975 effort "The Night Train Murders" lies in that perilous middle ground between an interesting film with some value and a shameless rip off, of in this case, Wes Craven's "Last House on the Left". From a narrative point of view the films are identical and so is the rather feeble moral message about violence and the society that breeds it. Naturally the sadistic sexual violence is deeply unpleasant and its impact is increased by Ennio Morricone's Spartan and uncharacteristically minimalist soundtrack (excluding the truly awful Demis Roussos theme song). This brutality left me rather hollow and empty. However Lado's does have cultural value. It builds on a concern present in many Lado films, which is the uncompromising exploitation of a younger permissive generation by a bored, apathetic and dangerously decadent bourgeoisie. What gives this film added virulence is that the bourgeious is represented by an astonishingly sadistic woman. She plays the young thugs like mindless puppets as they act out her darkest and sickest fantasies. The films conclusion punishes the young thugs with death, but the female sadist survives which implicitly suggests that bourgeious exploitation will continue. The same message can be found in Lado's superior giallo "Short Night of Glass Dolls". The film is made with polish and style by Lado, who is an accomplished director, he eschews the rough and ready cinema verite approach of Craven, to produce a uniquely European take on this revenge tale. However this doesn't excuse the film or the sour taste it leaves in the mouth.
E train to Austin.......2006-05-08
You know I picked this up on a whim and guess what???? Mikey like it! It is a classic B movie with some surprises. The Thugs were real good thugs, the school girls were good.I mean it is an all right movie worth a look. Really 31/2 stars.
las thouse on left 2??.......2006-05-05
Obviously inpsired by Last House, this is a cool Italian expoitation genre flick.
Quite disturbing, and more darker in tone believe it or not the Last hosue. Superb music too by none other than Ennio Morricone.
check it out if you like European genre films!
"Hey, we'll just cut her a little.".......2005-10-09
If Bunuel had ever made a "genre film" it would have been a lot like this.
I rented this thinking it was going to be just another slasher movie, but imagine my surprise when a few minutes into the movie I realized that the director, Aldo Lado, actually had some talent and shot a film that was not only engaging, but quite beautiful.
I won't ruin the movie by giving away a bunch of spoilers but lets just say two girls on the way home for Christmas have a bad (to say the least) encounter with two petty thieves who are unknowningly being manipulated by a rich (and ultra-seductive) female passenger played by Macha Meril, who was in Bunuel's erotic masterpiece BELLE DE JOUR.
If you're a gorehound looking for wall to wall guts (or nudity) then you'll be disappointed, but if you want to see an intelligently made film about the darker side of human nature then check it out. Make sure you watch the interview with director Lado, very interesting.
Sick.......2005-09-14
There is absolutely no reason to watch this film. I believe anyone that would own this film and watch it more than once, should be in therapy.
It is not erotic, sexy or have any point whatsoever. In addition, the quality is very poor. Don't waste your time. This film will depress you and make you feel guilty for watching it. It's human behavior at it's very worst.

Fun "B" Spy Movie.......2007-01-04
If you're a fan of early/mid-1960s B-movies and TV shows, you'll get a kick out of this little black and white espionage picture. It's somewhat more reminiscent of an early episode of The Man From UNCLE or Amos Burke, Secret Agent than James Bond. It is particularly recommended for fans of two of the lovliest exotic starlets or the era -- Aliza Gur and Edina Ronay.

Night Train to Terror is a horror anthology loosely tied together by interludes featuring God (Himself) and Satan (Lu Cifer) on a train haggling over the souls of characters in the stories. Along for the ride, for some reason, is what we're told is a "rock band," singing one rockin' little tune called, "Dance With Me," accompanied by some pretty hot breakdancing. The souls of the musicians are to be divied up also, but it's dramatically frustrating when this doesn't happen. The trio of stories presented make about as much sense as this, banking on absurd situations and splatter technique for their appeal, but coming off as unhumorously grisly and sadistic anyway. "The Case of Harry Billings" tells of a poor sod drugged up and hypnotized into luring unsuspecting victims to a hospital where their organs are forcibly harvested and sold to medical schools across the globe. Said harvesting takes place often without benefit of anaesthetic. Same goes for the viewer. "The Case of Gretta Connors" is a love story involving a death cult inventing ever more complex forms of Russian Roulette at which to cackle maniacally. And last, and certainly longest, is "The Case of Claire Hansen," pitting the devout Claire against the son of Satan, whose heart she must remove and place in a wooden box made from the actual Cross. While mostly tiresome and overlong, there are some amusing moments of the late-night variety, the kind you may mercifully not remember the next day. --Jim Gay

How To Watch This Movie While Sober..........2006-05-11
Step 1- Fast forward past the ultra-stupid musical sequences. Trust me, you won't miss them! Step 2- Skip the whole God / Satan philosophical debate segments. They're boring and add nothing to the 3 actual stories. Step 3- Take your brain out and hide it under the bed or behind a dresser. Now you're ready! As said in other reviews, this "film" is an anthology of three condensed movies that make little sense. However, they are a lot of fun to watch! Yes, the demonic bug, rattling head, claymation monsters, and maniacal Richard Moll are all highlights. Sit there stunned, watching a flurry of naked babes, blood, torture, mad science, nazis, and a secret death club! If Ed Wood were alive, he'd weep w/ joy! Watch it now!...
Horrendous Horror Film: Best Viewed Late Night by Adults.......2005-11-01
Well, I'm very sure that by today's horror standards, Night Train To Terror, released in 1984, is tame, but there were moments in the film that were genuinely frightening in its intensity. On DVD, it has been restored to look crisp and new, with great sound. It all begins with a train ride where abet between God and the Devil, a classic theological theme (as presented in the Book of Job)triggers a series of horror vignettes. The struggle between good and evil abounds in these stories. The first tale is of a man who becomes a guinea pig for a group of doctors who cut off body parts (without anesthesia) to sell them off to schools. The second story is about a wayward young girl who gets trapped in the world of pornography and a deadly cult who play a fatal game of Russian Roulette. This particular one is awfully disturbing, especially a scene in which a Jimmy Hendrix type is electrocuted to a crisp. This material is R-rated and I sense this film probably aired late nights on TV or cable in the 80's. The last story is about a courageous woman whose husband is the Devil incarnate who was also a former Nazi officer. The heroine defeats the devil with a box made of the True Cross. The whole thing is a mixture of cult campiness and 80's nostalgia. The song "Dance With Me" is straight out of early MTV as the young kids dance on the train that is awaiting a collision. Not for the faint of heart.
What the heck? .......2004-07-29
This movie is weird to say the least. Over all picture quality, at least on the version we have, is pretty poor for DVD. It is more like an old VHS rental or something. Sound is average at best. The movie, or movies as it is, are rather confusing. The action seems to bounce all over the place and it is not entirely clear as to what is going on most of the time. The general idea of the movie (e.g. God and Satan bartering over souls) is interesting but this movie does not pull it off very well. The only thing that keeps it remotely interesting are the short parts with gore that is so fake and funny you end up laughing your ass off (clay animation anyone?). I'd definately recommend renting this movie if possible before considering a purchase.
Late Night Horror Classic From 1984.......2004-07-28
Released in '84, "Night Train To Terror" was an instant late night horror cult classic. It enjoyed a following in its day although it has gone on the wayside. But anyone interested in cult classics of horror will really find this rare find appealing. The movie is a series of vignettes, three major cases argued by God and the Devil as a group of punk rockers ride an evening train. Warning: This movie is very gory, violent and scary and rated R. Kids under 16 more or less should not watch this film. Not for the faint of heart.
God and the Devil battle over souls in a philosophical "Seventh Seal" sort of way. The first case is Harry Billings (John P. Law)a man caught up in the horrors of a hospital in which patients are unwillingly severed and their body parts encased in jars for donation. Gory and disgusting scenes are rampant as the rest of the movie. The second case is that of a young girl who dreams of fame and fortune. She is made into a porn star by a domineering boyfriend/director. She joins a Death Club which plays a twisted Russian Roulette resulting in the electrocution of a Jimmi Hendrix look-alike. That scene is veyr disturbing and not intended for younger viewers. Actually, it is very unnecessary but the director of this film was getting away with nudity, violence and gore because it was late night. The last case is that of Claire Hansen, a faithful God-fearing woman, married to an atheist scientist who has written a controversial book "God Is Dead". The segment opens with a nightmare sequence involving the Nazis in World War II days. The final confrontation between good and evil collide as Claire faces the Devil's son. The claymation here is used for the images of demons (including one female demon named Ishtar). This movie is very bad if you really think about it but then again many bad movies have enjoyed popularity. As far as horror film goes, this film is a rare cult classic that appears tame and even intellectual in a "talky" way compared to the slice and dice slasher films of today with less plot.
Everybody's got something to do....everybody but you!.......2004-07-03
This is, put simply, one of the greatest films of all time...if you like to watch movies while drunk and stoned! As stated elsewhere, the movie is actually three movies with a wrap around, so it moves at an incredible, surreal clip; lurching forward without any explanation or boring parts- decapitations, nudity, suicide cults, inexplicable behavior- all interweaven into a truly bizarre cinematic experience. The tie together, God and Satan on a train, is made sublime by the inclusion of, and I am not joking, 80's breakdancers getting down to one of the funniest songs that will penetrate your mind (hence the title of this review)! This is really, truly one of the great party movies and I recommend it to anyone who finds delirium in finding the strange, perverse, and Dadaish on the outer fringes of the movie watching universe. An underground cult classic.

Customer Reviews:
Some passengers envision romantic possibilities as they ride the train though the night.......2007-03-16
"Night Train" (Pociag) is a story about a man and a woman who have to share a compartment on a train even though they would rather be alone. They both want their privacy so they speak to each other in riddles. Because they share very few details with each other, it takes a long time to figure out who they really are and what they are up to.
There is more to the story than mere strangers sharing a room. Some passengers envision romantic possibilities as they ride the train though the night. An otherwise uneventful ride is broken up by the excitement of authorities searching the train for a man who supposedly killed his wife. Many of the passengers get excited and create a witch-hunt. When the man she got to know is accused of being the killer, their interactions take new meaning and test their brief friendship.
Jerzy Kawalerwicz, who has considerable talent, directs "Night Train." As with his other films, such as "Mother Joan of Angels," "Austria," and "Quo Vadis," "Night Train" is exceptional. All in all, "Night Train" creates a romantic feeling, with its play on drama and jazzy music that ties it all together. The movie is a drama that borders on being a thriller. The story, presentation, and music are memorable and captivating.

"Scum always rises to the top.".......2004-12-02
Lowlife ex-con Jake Butcher (John Voldstad) is summoned to Tijuana by his equally lowlife brother, Zack. The Butcher Brothers have a long history together, and Jake arrives in Tijuana expecting to find his brother waiting for him. But "hard luck and bitter circumstance get in the way", and Jake learns that Zack is dead--the victim of a hit and run. Jake strikes up a conversation with Sam, "the resident drunk American", and Sam (Barry Cutler) advises Jake to leave Tijuana immediately. Jake is determined--even though he's drunk 99% of the time--to discover the truth behind his brother's death. Soon Jake is up to his eyeballs in trouble--and the trouble involves a dwarf gangster, a stripper, a beehived assassin, and a snuff film ring.
"Night Train" is John Waters meets "El Mariachi"--in other words, it's NOT for all tastes. It's gruesome, disgusting, and full of loathsome lowlifes. So why did I like it? ... "Night Train" has to be one of the most bizarre films I've ever seen. How can a film be simultaneously so grotesque and so beautiful? One dreamlike sequence ("Torch Song") is as beautiful as any scene I can remember in film. The lighting and imagery of this film is simply amazing and reminiscent of film noir (I'm thinking "Stranger on the Third Floor"). The soundtrack is a demented spaghetti western refrain that somehow or another works. The characters are all sharply drawn--revoltingly so--they make you want to wash just watching them on the screen. Many scenes segue by imagery of the inside of the toilet bowl flushing, there's vomiting aplenty, and some rather unappealing erotic scenes. But the film's message is strong, consistent, and clear, and the characters are haunting. There's a truth here--revolting and ugly--but it's still a nakedly honest film. One star deducted for some holes in the plot. The DVD has several extras: a music video, a short film that inspired the film, commentary, and story boards. The film is touted as noir--well--the cinematography is certainly spot-on, and the film concentrates on the criminal dregs of society, but fans of noir may be disappointed (if not outraged) by this description. I'd place "Night Train" solidly in the CULT film genre--there's an audience out there--somewhere--for this bizarre gem, but believe me, it's not for all tastes--displacedhuman
Get out of Tijuana. It's a bad place........2004-07-31
Joe Butcher is the unlikeliest of heroes. He's overweight, none too bright and on a seemingly endless bender. Joe Butcher is in Tijuana trying to discover what happened to his brother Zack. They say he was killed when a car ran him over, but Joe ain't buying that story.
John Volstad, the other brother Daryl on the Newhart Show, plays Butcher. As drawn by first-time director Les Bernstein and splendidly played by Volstad, Butcher is a bull in the ring, surrounded by matadors and picadors, stained and blooded and fearless.
NIGHT TRAIN has a noirish, realistic feeling to it. On the commentary track Bernstein mentions that critics have compared it to Welles' TOUCH OF EVIL, and that seems about right. Bernstein's Tijuana is raw and red-lit, or at least as red-lit as a black and white movie can be. For economic reasons almost all of this low budget film was shot in Tijuana. The action takes place on the real streets and bars and junk yards of the city. Bernstein, a special effects photographer whose credits include FIGHT CLUB and THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST, deftly captures and delivers Tijuana in all its shabby glory. One of the drawbacks of the process, though, is capturing sound. The characters dubbed their lines after the shots were filmed and canned. Considering the way the filmmakers are able to get deep under Tijuana's skin, it seems a fair compromise.
I liked NIGHT TRAIN a lot. I like the idea of strapping a story onto the back of a portly, drunk and dirty character and putting him into a rough and run-down environment. The little known and little used actors are surprisingly good. Barry Cutler plays Sam, the rail-thin `resident American drunk' who befriends Butler and sometimes guides him through the dangerous ways and byways of Tijuana. Nikoletta Skarlatos, who has more credits as a make-up artist than as an actor, plays stripper and sometimes prostitute Bobby with a level of skill that belies her resume.
NIGHT TRAIN uses some visual tricks, not surprising considering Bernstein's background, that are unusual for a movie with a modest budget. The most innovative is a flashback seen from the bottom of a toilet bowl Butcher is retching into. There are a number of montage, flashback sequences. A few too many, perhaps. The one that is the most grating occurs near the end of the movie. It's incorporated into a torch song sung by Bobby. Why show a series of clips from a movie we've just seen? In the commentary Bernstein says it's a device used in Spanish and Mexican movies, but it feels intrusive and braking here. The final showdown is a bit of a letdown as well. It feels a little artificial in a movie that is relentlessly realistic.
NIGHT TRAIN's special features include:
- Text biographies of John Volstad and Les Bernstein.
- Music video prequel. Five minute Bernstein directed music video exploring some of the themes that would be developed in NIGHT TRAIN, i.e., claustrophobia, etc.
- A twenty-two minute short film that was produced in the early `90s and shopped around while the filmmakers were trying to get financing for NIGHT TRAIN. This is interesting in that it shows the evolution of the movie. The original score was quite bluesy and jazzy, and the short film has a more polished, traditional film noir style. The full length feature would have a gritty, documentary look to it, and the score would feature the surf guitar stylings of Marco Aldaco.
- A storyboard for a night dream sequence montage consisting of a number of still line drawings.
- Publicity. Reprinted text reviews of NIGHT TRAIN.
- How to Make a Caesar Salad. A color, shot on video, 11-minute documentary showing a waiter preparing a Caesar Salad in the restaurant of the hotel in Tijuana where the dish was created.
- Welcome to Tijuana - A 13-minute video on the making of NIGHT TRAIN.
Wearing its heart on its sleaze..........2003-09-02
The guy who made this film, Les Bernstein, achieved great success as a visual effects cinematographer (Fight Club being one of his major triumphs in that role) and his visual expertise shows here--as well as his familiarity with a number of older films. The older films he pays homage to are a motley group and include Orson Welles' Touch of Evil, Herschel Gordon Lewis' gorefests, and a slew of German Expressionist works (The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari chief among them).
Bernstein has concocted a sleazy neo-noir (although neo-noir is not quite the right term; sleazo-noir is more like it) in which an overweight California slob hears his brother's been killed in Tijuana and goes down to investigate. Once there he meets an odd assortment of characters, all of whom either knew his brother or in some way were involved with him. The slob, Joe, and his brother Zack were both bank robbers; Joe's just been released from the hoosegow and that's when he goes down south of the border to check things out.
What Joe finds are: news about a snuff film ring, a Mexican-American stripper who's suffered a family tragedy, a nasty dwarf who loves to torture people, and a big woman who can't stand dirty clothes. He also finds Sam, a sympathetic transplanted American drunk who keeps telling him to leave Tijuana because it's the same as being in Hell.
Bernstein makes generous use of Expressionist-styled cinematography, even going so far as to, later in the film, have Joe made up to look like a corpulent Dr. Caligari--with dark circles around his eyes. Here also are frequent dream sequences, or, more accurately, hallucinatory sequences produced from Joe's frequent imbibing of ultra-cheap wine called, interestingly, Night Train. The visual imagery on display during these surreal passages is definitely impressive.
The actors talk EMED, a term I use to refer to a certain manner of speaking in indiependent films. EMED is European Metaphoric English Dialogue. What does that mean? This refers to the use of the English language in a simplified format, making it easy for video distributors in other countries to translate the English into whatever native language is spoken where the distributors are. This is not necessarily a bad thing; in this film, because of the obviously exaggerated nature of the story, the characters, and the events, EMED works very well. (For a bad example of EMED at work, see the last Samuel Fuller film, Street of No Return).
Though short, Night Train carries with it the feel of a full-length film because of its heady imagery and archetypal characters. There's enough visual intelligence on display here, in fact, to make the characters archetypal rather than stereotypical. The director's heart is in the right place; he knows not to completely overload the viewer with the gore and sleaze that would otherwise drag this down to a much lower level. There is heart here, too; we feel sorry for Joe because of his half-naive, all-drunk wandering around, not knowing exactly where he is or what he's doing, but knowing he needs sex and booze and, maybe, to find out about who killed his brother.
While not a complete success, this is an interesting film and worth viewing, especially for those who have an interest in down and dirty noir...

Well, it's better than "Mazes and Monsters".......2006-12-27
A fantasy-prone geeky kid (so geeky that the other members of his role-playing group taunt him) dies and a BLACK KNIGHT rises up to avenge him. Kind of ho-hum in that there is no nudity (that's actually okay given the cast), the violence is on par with a made-for-TV movie, and the plot is pretty predictable. I liked the effort that they put into it to make RPGs seem sinister and sexy.
THIS IS JUST STUPID !!!!.......2004-12-03
I love my LOW-BUDGET horror movies like "REDNECK ZOMBIES" Dante Tomaselli's "HORROR" & Tobe Hooper's "TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE" & i also love my big budget horror movies like "HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES" "CABIN FEVER" & "ALIEN" & every other good fun horror movie that is in between! BUT THIS MOVIE HAS NOTHING GOING FOR IT! ITS A REDICULOUS WASTE OF TIME! ITS ANNOYING! THE STORY & THE ACTORS JUST DIDN'T PULL OFF WHAT IT SEEMED THEY MIGHT HAVE BEEN TRYING TO PULL OFF!WHAT EVER THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN! ANYWAY IT JUST SUCKED IT WAS STUPID DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS ONE!!!!!!!!!! later on fellow horror fanz!
YAWN.......2004-10-02
An "artsy" attempt at horror that falls flat on its face. Acting and direction are amatuerish, and the movie's score overrides so much of the dialogue, you want to scream. It has a very slow and ill-acted opening, and it takes forever to get to any meaty substance. Role playing games come across even more banal than I had thought. Miss this one--there are no chills here!
Knighty Knightmare..........2004-06-16
A group of role-playing game enthusiasts gather every saturday night in their teacher's basement for swords, sorcery, and beers. One guy (played by Michael Wayne Walton) is a little bit TOO into the game, fantasizing about his knightly role with a girl gamer, who wants nothing to do with him. The bozo winds up driving into a tree and burning up, moments after swearing an oath to the great knight-of-the-rose pantheon. Soon, other saturday night gamers start turning up dead, cut to pieces by a dark knight on a big horse. Police are baffled, but we're not! I liked most of this movie. Not bad for a micro-budget indie...
BURN OUTS PROUD & TRUE WILL LOVE THIS FLICK!.......2003-05-21
I would have to say that the goofy dudes watching the horror movies looking for the bimbos with the...wait! I like that to...anyway...there are some cool characters in this story but I really dug the burnout guy Zac! "We are the burnouts proud and true, we grow our own [stuff] and smoke it too. I know one day that we'll all die but when we go we'll all go HIGH" 10 STARS! These guys were smoking buds and making some low budget horror art! As for the others who didn't get the film, watch it again. Watch it while giving the burnout pledge of alligence. That is soo catchy that me and my buds require that of our comrades. Dude, Zac for president plus he has cool friends and a hot girlfriend. I bet the other dudes slamming this flick has neither the friends or the chicks. Later!

Customer Reviews:
We never did finish viewing this movie.......2004-11-15
I have to agree with the views expressed by everyone here. We invited friends over to watch it and, after waiting what seemed an endless time for everything to start making sense, not one out of six of us wanted to finish it. Like others here, we couldn't understand why someone like Hugh Grant should have accepted a role in a movie with such a muddled plot.
it truly is the worst.......2004-10-19
I have to agree with everyone above, except I'll say unequivocally that it is the absolute worst ever, and I thought I could sit through anything if Hugh Grant was in it. It's true, this video has no redeeming value whatsoever, unless it's that some of the costumes in Venice are cool looking. Positively not worth spending 2 seconds or 2 cents on. There's a lot of horrid, tasteless and pointless violence, without even the satisfaction of understanding why or seeing the villains get their come-uppance at the end. I suppose someone had a fuzzy notion of appearance vs. reality symbolism, but it fails utterly.
A Very, Very Bizarre Film.......2001-02-02
Without stating the obvious, this film is so unbelievably bad it isnt even funny. The acting is confused, the plot makes hardly any sense and has one of the most absurd endings in film history. The Makers of this film however deserve some credit for persuading such talented actors as Hugh Grant and Malcolm McDowell to appear in this appalling drivel.
Possibly the Worst Movie I Have EVER Seen........2000-07-05
I sat downt to watch this movie with some hope because I generally like Hugh Grant movies, but this movie is absolute garbage. The first half is simple to undestand, but it is boring. The second half is the most incoherent 45 minutes in cinema history. I still do not fully understand this movie. Please anyone reading this do NOT waste time watching this movie. I would rather stare at a blank screen for the same amount of time than watch this mess again.
Most boring movie ever made! Minus 100 stars !.......2000-06-25
Hugh Grant would probably, and should, cringe at seeing this junk available for sale. I rented this movie, before Grant's L.A. escapade. I watched about 30 minutes and was so tortured by how horrible and boring it was, I rewound it and returned it, asking for an exchange. The owner of the video store watched it and threw it out. Grant isn't even cute in this film!
