I suppose one could overlook the wretched acting in this alleged spoof of "The Witches of Eastwick", and forgive the frequent and unexplained mood shifts of the main characters, and instead just look at the almost constant nudity of the female characters.

Problem is, you can't, or at least I can't. The three "Witches" are the victims of the most appallingly botched implant jobs in the history of science. Combine that with the way they stare blankly at the camera during their "lust", with the female equivalent of a post-lobotomy Randall P. McMurphy look on their faces, and you'll be wishing you had the wasted hour and a half back someday when you're on your death bed.

More treats than tricks.......2006-03-19

A man named 'David' {Matt Dalpiaz} is plagued by a dream and becomes obsessed with finding the source of it - three succulent succubi undulating in sexual abandon by raging flames before being sacrificed. He and wife 'Tiffany' {Monique Parent} are the decendants of those who burned their ancestors at the stake in eras past. This takes he and his deliciously erubescent wife out into the wilderness where the car breaks down for no apprent reason outside a cabin where he seeks to use the phone, in which reside three very familiar beauties. One delay after another occurs, including the secret administering of a potion into their wine {which would have been better applied with a pentagram "poison ring"}, until they are obligated to stay the night. He remains haunted by a pervading feeling of impending doom, which does not prevent the lovely ladies from taking their pleasures with he and his wife, from the jacuzzi to the bathtub to the woods to the bedroom.

The couple are regailed with the legend of "La Cacanya", a creature lurking about the surrounding forest when suddenly, a stunning brunette appears before him in the darkness, who after quite a delightful indulgence, warns him of the deadly intentions of the three witches, the so-called "Daughters of La Cacanya" {one of whom wears a weakagram, which does not seem to quite work}. But they are certainly a preferred alternative to the typical warty hag depiction.

The next morning, David finds the car operable, but his wife is missing. Upon a frantic search, he meets with the lovely brunette again, who arms him with a silver blade, supposedly the only weapon effective against a witch. He finds Tiffany strapped to a stake by a bonfire, ready to be sacrificed. La Cacanya makes a brief appearence, and David predictably rescues the wife at the last moment.

Unfortunately, the lengthy lesbian scenes seem like gratuitous fluff, with seemingly minimal contact between the women. The title is obviously a double-en-tendre' on the film "The Witches of Eastwick', although this plot really has nothing to do with that story at all. The performers are visually superb, although their talents are not maximized herein.

Great movie and free!.......2006-03-19

First, I couldn't complain about this movie even if I wanted too. It was free! This is a great flick. Not scary, but what is nowadays. Just look at the cover. You can tell it's scary. The women are hot. The movie did need some blood. But other than that. Thumbs up!

Witches of Wastewick.......2005-10-08

This movie was not worth the cost to return it. DO NOT waste your money.They completely waste the talents of Monique Parent. the hot tub scene must have been filled with ice cold water. This movie could not heat up a 14 year old virgin. If you like giant fake breasts then okay. better yet spend your money on fake lotto tickets at least those are SUPPOSED to be funny. By far the worst movie with the least stimulating sex imaginable. Don't complain if you ignore this warning.

Nice little film.......2005-07-20

Ok. I know this says this film comes out end of august but I got an early copy from somewhere ahead of that date and picked it up. I really liked this film. in fact the only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because the director has a habit of making his stars break the 4th wall looking at the camera during sex scenes,(they do it only a little but it bugs me for some reason), and because this is suppose to be a horror film and it well isn't edgy sexy horror like other seduction cinema horror films(Tony marsiglia films you aren't getting here:Ie Dr Jeckle and Mistress Hyde this is not). This is not a parody film of witches of eastwick either. What this is then is a really good version of a sex movie that has some Good sex and a nice horror backdrop that really is just there to fuel some nice sex scenes. Here is the story. A man is having nightmares of three women who seduce him and then kill him, plagued by this he and his wife find the spot that is in his dream and then "by chance" finds the three women. The three women are witches. They give him and his wife a 'potion/spell' proceed to have sex with his wife and then each one of them have sex with him (sadly no sex with him and his wife and them together which would have been a hot scene :). The beauty of this movie is first off it is in WIDESCREEN. It looks great. The lesbian scenes are all threesomes(except for like a 10 second teaser scene), not as hot as some the other seduction stuff but not as tame as some of the stuff that is passing for erotica. Plus the hotub scene with Monique Parent is umm hot. I really liked this film. If your looking for some good old school erotic horror I would say pick this this up. the commentary is good as well. It reminds me more of what used to pass for erotic horror back say 5 to 10 years ago before it because "super light" softcore garbage like say sisterhood. Not that this is anything more then softcore but these girls actually make it look hotter like softcore films used to be. For the beautiful looking film and hot sex scenes and a great performance by Monique Parent as the wife, I suggest you give this film a try. It is also the nicest looking seduction film I've seen. I hope they start filming all of their films in widescreen.

My husband and I have never been into anything like this before and were interested in checking it out. We looked around and saw this. The cover was a little shady, and the description seemed a little interesting but once we watched it we were very disapointed. The acting was cheesy at best. It was like an adult Hocus Pocus with Bette Middler. They were trying to kill people to stay young like that movie where they suck the life out of children to stay young. Totally not worth the three bucks I spent on it. I'll keep looking for something of interest. Bad acting... just aweful. Save your money.

Uniquely Erotic.......2005-05-05

This is a well-made erotic horror B-movie. If you are looking for award-winning acting, explosions, and elaborate sets, this movie isn't for you. That said, it is a super erotic movie with some very attractive girls, who look like your girl next-door, not like they came from a cosmetic surgery brochure. Director Marsiglia's movies usually present an original vision, not the cookie-cutter Playboy-movie variety. As the title suggests, the story involves a group of sexy lesbian witches running a beauty salon who seduce their pretty clients for ritualistic purposes. Invariably you'll have someone who finds out what they are up to and tries to destroy them. The eroticism is very atmospheric. The movie is not fast paced but creates a sexy aura. The girls look like they are actualing enjoying their work and each other. This movie together with G-String Vampire is some of the hottest stuff you'll find on DVD. Highly recommended if you like erotic girl-girl action.

what the heck does this have in common with carlito's angels. I told my boyfriend to buy me carlito's angels for Christmas and he got me this movie too, he said they came together. The plot is way out there but the movie is great over all. A lot of wonderful acting and a great look at the Salem Witch Trials. If you take an interest in the mysterious then this movie is for you. If you don't then get another one.

Pretty sorry excuse for a teen slasher film.......2005-10-03

This is probably one of the worst horror flicks I have ever seen. I first saw it when I was really young and thought it was pretty scary so when i saw it in the video store other day I thought I'd see how well it held up. Well it didn't at all. When I was little the mask seemed so scary now it just seems stupid. There are a lot of things that work against this movie. First of all is the killer, if you could even call it that. The "killer" doesn't really kill anyone. It seems as if he/she about to kill one girl but before he/she has a chance she dies from fright which is lame. The killer has these long sharp claws that he/she made but everytime he/she swings at someone with them he/she misses them then when he/she has the perfect chance to use them to kill someone he/she doesn't do it! Second of all is the predictability of it all. When the killer first appears there's no doubt to who it is. Third is the plot. The plot is just lame. The whole someone has come back to take revenge for past wrongs has been done many times over. Fourth is the characters. How many older teens do you know throw freakin costume parties without any drinking involved? I'm not saying I condone teen drinking but please make it more realistic. Fifth is some of the horrible dialogue. Example: The killer has got a girl around the neck. The girl says, "Please don't kill me!" then the killer says, "Something much worse." then cuts her face a little bit with his/her claws as the girl screams "Not my face!" Please thats just stupid. Sixth and lastly the ending. The ending sucked. I felt that it cheated me but considering the rest of the movie I wasn't suprised. The explanation for the whole thing is so convoluted that it's ridiculous. Also the big showdown scene lacks suspense. For all my complaining I did see potential for an excellent movie. If had changed a few elements it could've been an excellent entry into the teen slasher genre instead of a wannabe Scream.

PLOT:
A teen from California named Sarah Zultan(Sarah Chalke) moves to Massachusettes with her mom. She has an interest in the occult and a smart mouth. The members of the Descendents Club(Kyra, Eric, Debbie, Kevin, and Misty) all begin to believe she is a reincarnation of a witch who swore revenge on their 5 ancestors 300 years earlier. There are a few suprises thrown when the weird loser of the school Charlie(Ben Foster)reveals to Sarah that he's also a member of the Descendents Club but the others believe there are only five descendents.

CAST:
I'm not going through the whole cast in this review because no one in the cast did an outstanding job in their roles and most of them will probably not be landing anymore acting gigs outside of crap like this. The three most well known are probably Sarah Chalke from the Roseanne, Soleil Moon Frye from Punky Brewster and Ben Foster who actually has been getting a few roles in Hollywood these days.

FINAL WORD:
This is a below average entry in the teen slasher genre. I doubt it will scare anyone over 12.

A decent thriller that could have been a very good one........2004-08-28

"I've been waiting for you" is one of those movies that could have been something much more. This was originally a Tv-movie for lifetime and then, in later years, was released on DVD. The cover of the film markets the film as a teen slasher flick, which is what it should have been. I think the producers of the movie forgot that in order for a movie to be a slasher movie, the killer has to actually kill people, which is where the film failed. Even if they wanted to keep the movie "Tv-friendly" or "PG-13" they still could have killed off the cast. That's what should have happened to move the plot along. The first half of this movie was pretty good. It was entertaining, but then the movie shifts gear, in order to prepare for it finale. Which is fine, but the killer just basically chased people around for the rest of the movie. I mean, by the end of the movie, I kinda felt cheated. But anyway, it's actually quite clever and the plot is interesting. If this film had the violence and gore it needed, it could have definetly been a standout slasher flick.

I first noticed this movie like a year or so ago. it was in the old release/horror section at the video store. At first, i wasn't quiet sure if i should rent (mainly for the fact that it seemed like it was a I Know what you did last Summer)....but i rented it anyway's. And boy was i surprized. It was actually a really decent movie. The cast was really good. They all seemed to fit there parts really well. And soile moon frye was very hot....oh yeah.....hehehehehe.

Well, anyway, you should rent this movie. You won't be dissapointed.

WHICH WITCH IS IT?.......2004-01-10

The identity of the "masked madman" is pretty obvious once the character is introduced, and even though they try and throw some red herrings at you, "I've Been Waiting for You", a middling TV movie, offers nothing new. Sarah Chalke does a good job in the lead role of Sarah, the young girl who moves to Pinecrest, Massachusetts, where three hundred years earlier, a witch named Sarah Lancaster was toasted at the stake and gosh darn put a curse on the descendants of the people who burned her!
We are of course treated to the snooty five descendants of such people who are convinced the new Sarah is the witch Sarah come back for revenge.
Interestingly enough, the masked man only kills one person and that's only because she was stupid enough to die of fright. The others he just sort of scares. Ho hum. While a modicum of suspense is maintained, the overall effect is generic tv movie syndrome. Poor Markie Post looks like she filmed this movie on two hours sleep. The rest of the cast is appropriately dysfunctional and the ending is rather ludicrous.
Rent, don't buy.

How do lousy movies like these get made? The guy who said all the actors were "no-names," wasn't kidding. Witchcraft 2 isn't much better.

Maybe I'm just self-destructive. I like to watch awful movies just so I can complain about them later. Hey, if that's your thing, then by all means plunk your money down, but if it's not ... then I suggest you save it for a carton of milk.

Not What I Expected!.......1999-08-23

This movie was not what I expected. The actors are "no-names" and the camera work seems to be on an amature level. While the picture quality is good, the plot of the movie actually is even better. If you like "B" movies, you will like this one! It will keep your attention. Witchcraft II is even better!

This DVD may be the worst DVD in history. Especially the special features section. I mean can you really pack a DVD with more usless information. For example there is a short called Y2K: Shutdown Detected (it should have been called Y2K: Please Shutdown your DVD player and smash this disc) You know something is wrong when your making of section is longer than your movie, they should have put a little less effort in the making of and more into the feature project then they would have something that was just awful instead of what is currently on the disc. Please for gods sakes save yourself the misery and don't watch this DVD or anything on it or near it.

Bad feature, good short.......2003-04-14

I am an aspriring filmmaker and have seen this DVD. I agree with the other reviews here but must add that any filmmaker interested in a good horror film on a no budget needs to check the short film on this DVD. This short film is called Y2K: Shutdown Detected and is a special bonus on this disc. There is also a great behind the scenes of this short on the dvd. I wasn't happy with the feature but the short made it worth my money.

Demoness = Worthless.......2002-12-13

This is such a terrible film! I had to wait for forty minutes for anything remotely scary to happen.

It's a by-the-numbers film about four couples that come together in a country house, & are then killed one by one by the Demoness.

It takes so long to get going as we wait patiently for the director to give a little introduction to each of the couples. So, by the fortieth minute you're screaming, "Will someone die?!" (by the end of the film, you'll have wished it was the director).

Then a couple goes off into the dark, and invariably separates so that the Demoness can kill them one at a time. The next day the same thing happens - another couple go off by themselves, only this time they are killed in a slightly different way (by this I mean that at least one of them gets sprayed with a fine mist of blood from the other (this happens two several different characters)).

For best results, this must be seen as a comedy, & not as a horror.

The only thing I liked about this DVD was that I saw some retro-film previews which star Uschi Diggart! (but then you can just buy these films by themselves).
