Sorry, but credibility is an issue.......2007-03-23

Bob Lazar is certainly a well spoken and articulate man. He sounds very reasonable. Unfortunately, there are issues. When Stan Friedman, probably the most well known and credible UFO researcher alive today, tried to verify Lazar's education, he found that Lazar's claims of degrees were bogus. He did not attend MIT; instead, he attended a community college at the same time he said he got his degree. In addition, he claimed attendance at a college that turns out to be a diploma mill: Pay money, get your degree. He graduated in the bottom third of his high school class. That's not the kind of record that gets you into MIT. The bottom line is that his claims in terms of education are entirely bogus. Now, you can say it's all a government cover up, but Friedman could find no college that had ever heard of him. Lazar tripped himself up without governmental intervention by fudging his dates. There are plenty of records available about him; it's just not the ones he would prefer you to see.

He apparently DID work for a government contractor at Area 51 for about six months. Now, does anyone reading this know how working for a contractor on a secret project works? I've been there. You're hired provisionally while an investgative service checks you out for a potential clearance. The higher the clearance, the more strict the review. It takes several months for even a relatively mild 'secret' clearance. For anything higher, it takes longer. Coincidentally, Lazar worked for this contractor about six months. His clearance application was rejected because, they said, his marriage was too unstable. (they'll reject you if you have a grandparent who lives in a communist country, too. Clearances are strange.) In any case, what do you think he did for the contractor during the time he was waiting for his security clearance to come though? Do you really think he was allowed to inspect and work on saucers, the most highly classified subject ever? Doubtful. What I suspect happened is that he worked for a contractor at a technician level for a few months before he was let go because his clearance was rejected. He was interested in the stories and saw an opportunity to capitalize on them. That's it. This unfortunate scenario in no way means there isn't a Roswell coverup. There's plenty of reliable evidence that there is, but Lazar himself is not part of the reliable testimony.

Top of The Line Info.......2006-08-08

No where else have I seen such in depth explination of a theory as with the confident Bob Lazar in this video. This DVD is an authorized reproduction of Bob Lazars old film and is packed with info. Not a documentary, really, but more of a science lesson with lots of top secret dirt (though he states from the beginning that he would with hold some for the good of the public, even though after watching the show you wonder what it could have been) while I would have liked to know more about his opionons on the religous implications he did shed lots of light on how space travel is made possible without actually traveling in a liner motion like we do with cars but going really fast. The alternate mode of high speed transportation is very similuar to what we see else where in the UFO field and obiously has factual bases for where it comes from. This movie is a great, great video to have watched once, twice, or even 10 times. You will know more about space travel then pretty much anybody on the planet after watching this, and not just a version of space travel but of the way things travel in space period. GET THIS FILM, YOU WONT REGRET IT!

Can you really believe Bob Lazar? Look online for the arguments. There are good ones on both sides which leaves me somewhere in between. To imagine what is discussed as true is a fantastic daydream (perhaps frightening). If curious, it is a must-have, especially if physics is an interest.

Save your money. While this production was better than Flying Saucers Area Real it still isn't worth the price. It is horribly done with lots of shakey video footage of blurred lights in the sky. That and "he said she said" type stories. Some of the interviews have distracting background noises in them like the tape recorder was squeaking as the spindles turned! I thought something was wrong with my DVD player at first! Bob Lazar's interview is the only interesting/redeeming portion of the set. This was very disappointing. Get the Unsolved Mysteries UFO DVD set, but leave this one alone. It is really amature.

This movie uses too many zooms, overdubbed tracks and confusing editing. The videos that they use are powerful in themselves, but the producers of this film have decimated their integrity. A simpler presentation would have been better.

Excellent - great information.......2006-08-09

This is one of the best UFO video's I have seen! The US media rarely shows 1/100th of the video and information available. This is an opportunity to hear Bob Lazar's full interview and that of CIA pilot John Lear's story as well. There is a lot of interesting information on S-4 section of Area 51. I had not heard about EBE's and Zeta Reticuli until I saw this video.

The really nice part of this video information is that viewers are not subjected to continuous insulting comments from Skeptic and other disinformation critics on the government's payroll... thankfully this video is excellent and uninhibited (unlike any anti-UFO, disinformational tripe presented by National Geographic and History channel).

Any production which George Knapp is involved with has been excellent thus far. Now if someone would do a video on the Dulce, New Mexico underground facility, it might shed more light on another seldom covered UFO/Alien issue.

I think most people who even loosely follow the UFO topic are aware that for many years now the top secret Government / Military facility known as Area 51 has definately been host to some strange, highly advanced objects and top secret, experimental aircraft.

The burning question of everyones lips is - are any of these UFOs advanced alien spacecraft? - according to this documentry the answer is a resounding "yes". The makers of this film go far beyond speculation and assumption which is the usual method of investigation by these types of films and actually speaks to well known and respected military people, CIA test pilots, aviation experts and UFO investigators. Plus there is quite a few convincing photo and video documentation to back up their claims.

They also claim that the mysterious "Aurora" project was designed directly from some extraterrestral technology as well as the B2 Stealth bomber and various unmanned drones and spy planes etc.

The most convincing evidence that this is all indeed real is a certain piece of video footage that was shot in the 90's by an investigator who managed to find a mountain top which was not as heavilly gaurded as the rest and had a direct line of site to the Area 51 base - he actually films UFOs landing and taking off - amongst other various supply trucks and craft entering and leaving the base. There is also pictures taken from small aircraft of other bases near the area that show underground hanger doors and silo's - all very compelling evidence.

Area 51 is indeed a real place - plus there are many other underground facilities housing this technology - once you see this film it's not too hard to imagine that the US Government has known about UFOs for many years, has had an open dialogue with certain races of extraterrestrials for many years (which is still in development) - has reverse engineered a small portion of their technology and filtered it into the industrial military complex - and has kept all this information from the public for many years because of the impact on society, religion and traditions but most importantly kept it from reaching the hands of the USAs primary enemies - namely the Soviets, but now I supppose it would be North Korea, China and Al Queda.

For anyone interested in this subject matter I would recommend this DVD - If I had to offer up one negetive comment its the fact that the quality of this documentry is very poor. The sound and visual resolution in some parts are very poor. But it by no means takes anything away from the enjoyment - and it in by no means unwatchable - but it is clear that a poor video to dvd transistion was made.

Another negative point worth mentioning quickly is Bob Lazar - he is featured on this video - and offers a highly convincing interview. I'm still however very skeptical of Mr Lazar as no investigator has managed to proof 100% that he worked at any of the facilities he mentions. There have been other varified military and scientific people come forth and confirm Mr Lazars claims as being true, but many investigators still find that alot of his comments condtradict his previous interviews etc -

One point in Mr Lazars favor must be made - and that is he does not appear to be trying to profit from his claims. He has no book that Im aware of that he's trying to promote and he does not publicly speak at any conventions etc - and he generally fears for his life and keeps very low-key. He has however been recently arrested by Nevada State Police for writing a software program for a well known 'illegal' brothal. Because of this, the website ufowatchdog.com has entered him in the Hall Of Shame, alongside all the other well known and exposed UFO frauds.

I'm not personally convinced of Mr Lazar - and I'm not unconvinced either - anyway, watch his testimony and make your own conclusions.

Despite Mr Lazar I have no problem in recommending this film for any serious UFO buff / investigator. There is alot of compelling footage and fantastic claims made by credible people.

This is one of the BEST DVDs of this genre that I have seen. The people in it are legendary in the field of Area 51 research and UFOs in general. There is a lot of information contained in this DVD that I have not heard of before though I read and watch everything on the subject that I can get. Forget the picture quality, which is not too bad, the information is worth it!

Yes, this is probably the worst movie of all time...just about everything is wrong with it: Directing, acting, "special effects," and more. It fails as a movie in every way possible. But it's possibly the funniest movie I've ever seen, buy this and watch it, but don't expect anything, it's no fun unless you make fun of it.

i've seen scarecrow gone wild,I had no problem wid it.but this is the fakest most stupidest,dummest,clummsiest piece of filth eva!its about an alien parasite/specimen it brakes loose kills its captors and goes out on a killing spree...on teens?! you have gots to be kiddin me!it dices and slices the director must have been an alien/teen movie slpiced together kinda wannabe.get it its half teen/slasher half alien flick,stupid!its more of a slasher flick than a sci-fi flick!plus the actress is ugly,ugliest i've eva seen bro!

Just Say No!.......2005-08-11

Obviously, the producers of this movie could not get a "real" star, so they decided to hire a "celebrity" who has long outlived her 15 minutes of fame to draw attention to this flick instead. Enter ex prostitution ringleader Heidi Fleiss. Her role in this film is (fortunately) very limited. To put it nicely, she simply can't act. She looks like she is about a hundred years old and spaced out on who knows what kinds of drugs. The film even features her "shooting up" with some kind of mystery drug, and her circus-freak assistant smoking crack while on a break.

The leading actress in this movie is decent looking, but nothing to get excited about. I'm guessing that it took a truckload of hydrogen peroxide in order to keep her hair that color throughout the movie, not to mention a truckload of bright red lipstick. She can barely act, as is true of most of the cast.

The bad acting, cheezy special effects and lousy editing are bad enough, but its the script that doomed this film from the very beginning. At best, the plot simply makes no sense. Supposedly, the government's most top-secret, lethal biological killing machine has just escaped from Area 51. So, who do they send to take care of the problem? A 100 lb blond bimbo with a Rambo knife. Yeah, sure. I wish I could say that the plot was confusing, but that's not the case. It's just plain stupid and unbelievable.

I have to concur with the other reviewer here that the person writing this screenplay may very well have been under the influence of some mind-altering chemical. I suspect that may have been the case with a lot of the people connected to this movie. Exactly why you would throw-in someone smoking crack in the middle of the film for no apparent reason, describing how great it felt, pretty much speaks for itself. You pretty much would have to be using crack in order to think that this movie was any good.

If making bad movies was a crime, the makers of this film deserve a life sentence. "Just say NO" to Alien 51.

Painful.......2005-05-06

First, if you are going to name a film Alien 51, you need to place some emphasis on the creature. Apparently, it was a recycled creature from another film (see the movie El Chupacabra, a film I haven't seen, but have added it to my list) and nothing created from any sort of imagination or originality. That already says a lot about where the quality of this picture is going to come from. If their main character is actually a creature from another film, our filmmakers have already cheated us from any sort of value. Recycling creatures in a non-mocumentary sort of way is an insult and immediately my DVD player should have dispensed the total amount spent on this rental. As if it isn't bad enough that the creature is from another film, it also has as much screen time as Dame Judi Dench did in Shakespeare in Love, actually probably less. Where is the alien during most of this film? I honestly thought that his agent was probably suggesting that he not participate in this production because it could ultimately hurt his career as an extra terrestrial. "Don't expect to hear from Spielberg if you continue with Alien 51." I could hear his agent saying. Nonetheless, he does make a small "cameo" role near the end where tempers flair, emotions rise, and the excitement of the final credits are finally in sight.

Second, if you are making a movie and you cannot get anyone to headline, then I would reconsider using Heidi Fleiss. Now, I am not an actor at all, but I have seen several independent films, and I can say this. She cannot act at all. In fact, there were some special features on this DVD which allowed you to see the director giving instructions to the actors, and I just couldn't help but think that Fleiss' comments were going in one ear and out the other. I am surprised to witness that the director just didn't go "postal" on everyone when they chose to do their own form of acting instead of following the directions presented to them. Perhaps, and this may throw my image of this film completely off, but just maybe that was the director's style of filmmaking. I have never witnessed a director who wanted to be cheap, allow his cast to walk in and out of scenes, and demonstrate that an entire community of women must have had some form of breast implants, but maybe that is what our dual directors, Brennon Jones and Paul Wynne (yep, it took two to butcher these cinematic moments), wanted to ultimately create. If that is the case, then they have done a wonderful job and should be congratulated for their slackish behavior and performances. I would love to know what their budget was on this film because honestly, you could have paid me nothing and I would have found better material. Ok, you have a character named Doctor PsychoBilly. It really cannot get much worse than that.

Finally (while there are many, many, many more, I will stop here), whomever wrote this script I do believe was heavily under the influence of some banned substance, or possibly watched too much Anchorman and decided to act like Brick while writing. Either way, the lines in this film were the most enjoyable to listen to because they were possibly the worst ever written by another human being. I am not afraid to go on the record with that statement. My favorite line in the entire film was when Cleo and the police officer were walking around at night (yet, it was so bright outside from the apparent spotlights) and she throws him on the ground, takes her top off and attempts to show him her scar from an earlier alien encounter. His response to her being on top of him and taking her top off was, "I am supposed to be looking at your scar right". HA. You could hear it in his voice that he was already too excited to have a woman on top of him topless. It literally had me in stitches on the ground. Thank you for writing comedy, this film needed it!

this is a 50 to 60 minute dvd, it has almost nothing new for a area 51 or ufo buff, in mostly has pics of the entry sighs to the area 51, and all interviewers say basicly the same thing that the area contains secrets, for these reasons itself i would`nt have bought it.

Let me mention that I personaly observed a UFO close-up - so no doubts there in general and I am usually quite generous with bending science, but this is DVD just too much: this guy knows nothing about nuclear physics and the math involved. He not only built an impossible rocket engine, he also built an unlikely targeting system. Only a black hole bends light - right (any gravity source does - but who cares)and he found a mistake in Hawkins math meeting the man in England by just having a glimps at the blackboard. I bet the timing doesnt check out (but I havn't taken the trouble to confirme that) and will anybody pls ask Mr Hawkins if he ever even heard the name Adair? That childhood genius then proceeded to live a life of a lowly technical saleman until he comes out of the closet decades later. His only protection is that the average showbizz TV person knows even less (or is afraid to ask). This is stupid even for the usual disinfo. I want my money back !!!!!

An Incredible Story.......2006-10-01

David Adair's story is hard to believe. However, before one musters up too sceptical a criticism, they should consider a few facts: It is equally hard to believe that this man, an internationally recognized expert in space technology spinoff applications for industry and commercial use, the president of a company that holds clients such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Clemson University, Edison Electric, Reynolds Aluminum, and the United States Army, Air Force and Navy, who, at age 17, won "The Most Outstanding in the Field of Engineering Sciences" award from the US Air Force, and, at 19, was funded by the National Science Foundation, is out to make a name for himself by publishing an outlandish fictional account.
What lends credence to the story is the man himself, who testified to this story in front of a closed congressional committee. Adair, along with Steven Greer and others is currently working to force open congressional hearings that will grant covert operatives total immunity from their national security oaths in regard to UFO events.
I have not heard a debunker yet who has come up with hard facts to dispute David Adair's story.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!.......2006-05-14

I have seen this video a few times and can say, without a single doubt in my mind, this is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. David Adair reminds me of one of those kids we all knew in high school who couldn't tell the truth to save his own life. You know what I'm talking about; he's one of those nerdy kids with low self esteem who told wildly fantastic and improbable stories about exploits that were so unbelievable they were funny. That's how I'd describe Mr. Adair and this video. He claims to have been a kid genius, born with advanced math and physics in his head, who was recruited to work at Area 51 to reverse engineer alien spacecraft. He claims to have become alarmed by the government building a "first-strike" weapon out of this craft and, in a feat of James Bond bravado, foiled their plans by sabatoging the ship and blowing it up. He never bothers to explain how he avoided being prosecuted (or executed) for espionage. He also claims the depiction of Area 51 in the movie Independence Day was spot on and that the movie makers must have had inside information. That right there should be a dead give-away. I gave this DVD two stars because it is quite funny and entertaining in a sick and sadistic sort of way. Watching this guy make a complete idiot out of himself by telling such an improbable story is worth it. The big difference between this DVD and the Bob Lazaar video is Lazaar knows how to keep his story, while wildly improbable, at least somewhat realistic. The truth is Adair is some pathetic schmuck who has told this incredible piece of horsesh*t story in order to be somebody. The sad part is there are people actually dumb enough to believe him.
