A sleeper at the time of its release in 1984, Thom Eberhardt's Night of the Comet has built a small cadre of fans thanks to its breezy performances and blend of comedy and tongue-in-cheek science fiction. Catherine Mary Stewart and Kelli Maroney are thoroughly likable as a pair of San Fernando Valley sisters who find themselves completely alone after the arrival of Halley's Comet reduces their affluent community--and most of Los Angeles--to dust. Their subsequent nonstop shopping spree is soon interrupted by predatory zombies, as well as a sinister scientific cabal (led by cult favorites Mary Woronov and Geoffrey Lewis) with designs on the girls. Stewart and Maroney are terrifically game as the heroines (especially Maroney, whose flair for bubbly comedy was never given another chance on screen), and Robert (Star Trek: Voyager) Beltran is also on hand as a fellow survivor and romantic lead. Fun for '80s enthusiasts and sci-fi fiends who don't mind a little fizz in their end-of-the-world scenarios. -- Paul Gaita

Apocalypse...Valley Girl Style.......2007-07-04
A signifcant cult hit when released in late 1984, NIGHT OF THE COMET is an admittedly cheesy film even by the standards of low-bduget offerings, and dated as well; given the time in which it was made, it screams "Eighties!" But it still somehow comes off as a completely fascinating oddity, combining tongue-in-cheek 80s comedy with science fiction and horror.
The premise is a fairly simple one: A large comet (contrary to what some reviews have said, this comet does not have a name attached to it) makes an uncomfortably close encounter with our planet while millions have come out this night to watch its arrival. But the following morning, two Valley Girls (Catherine Mary Stewart; Kelli Maroney) come out, and realize, albeit slowly, that everyone and everything around them has literally turned to dust; and if they haven't turned to dust, they've either gone psychotic or turned into zombies. The City of Angels is now a veritable ghost town. And along with an Hispanic trucker (Robert Beltran), they soon find themselves at the mercy of mad scientists searching for a vaccine from the comet dust that killed or zombified everyone else.
Provocative title aside, nobody is going to mistake NIGHT OF THE COMET for such similar films as DEEP IMPACT, METEOR, or the hyped-up ARMAGEDDON by any means; the dialogue has so much in the way of Valley Girl lingo that there's no mistaking its era. These flaws aside, however, writer/director Thom Eberhardt manages to make the most of a parlous budget. Apart from the slightly lame dialogue and comedy, NIGHT OF THE COMET has a lot in common with the 1971 sci-fi thriller THE OMEGA MAN (scenes of a deserted Los Angeles), and its source material, Richard Matheson's classic 1954 book "I Am Legend"; and Eberhardt's decision to use orange filters to create an L.A. skyline shrouded by comet dust has echoes of an early Steven Spielberg TV project, 1971's L.A. 2017.
Quite campy by today's standards and a product of its time, NIGHT OF THE COMET nevertheless remains very watchable in ways that many other films like it with budgets one hundred times bigger aren't. It is a midnight cult item that should be seen to be believed.
Fun, Funny, Cult-Classic.......2007-06-28
Make some popcorn and settle into your favorite chair for this one. As the opening narative states, the world has not seen a comet like this since the dinosaurs disappeared. A good foreshadow as one comet-watcher assures everyone that nothing happened when people were so worried about Halley's Comet coming around so there's no need to worry now. Well they should've worried, as we soon find out in this OmegaMan-knockoff. Yes this is a B-movie and yes there are some inconsistancies, but for the most part the plot has good execution and follow-thru. If you're a scifi fan who enjoys recognizing stolen moments from other movies, or you like a movie that can poke fun at its own genre, or you just want some good clean fun to make you laugh, this movie is for you.
Hollywood, Please Remake This One! Thanks........2007-06-18
This is a "nice" little C-grade movie. This movie is NOT 4.5 stars in the 21st century. "Night of the Living Dead" (1968)-now that's 4.5-5 stars still in today's age. I believe the people that rated this movie past 2 stars are promotional stand-ins for Hollywood. Either that or they've been watching some pretty whacked out flicks. Speaking of Hollywood-Hollywood this would be a lovely little movie to re-make. I would hope that you don't do much worse than the original like the Hollywood remake for "Black Christmas"-an atrocity. But to prevent another remake catastrophe, Hollywood, please grab either Sam Raimi, Quentin Tarantino, John Carpenter or even Steven Spielberg before attempting a remake of this film. This why I am so NOT liking this film: I asked myself: why the "Star Wars" intro? Boring. Why the banter between snobby mom and snobby child? Boring. Why the movie theater and radio station scene? Nothing really happens. Boring. Then it hit me these scenes are just space fillers. The only thing worth watching is the 3 or 4 zombies that debut in the film and the no-nonsense, woman scientist, Audrey. She's lethal like her shot. This movie is absolutely afraid to be horror. Horror to the point where Ms. Cheerhead gets "done-in" for real by Audrey. Horror like poppin' the zombie kid in the noggin-just for kicks. Or horror, like the zombie kid eats Mr. Knight in Shinning Armor. Horror like RUN Ms. Cheerhead over at the end-I mean get real she asked for it by running out in the streets challenging Fate at its best! These are just some improvement horror suggestions. I mean come on in a real-life event one of them would die if not all, in their case, but no everyone stays alive. And with no surprise, the ending is too "happily ever after." Horror should never be happily ever after unless there is a grotesquely sarcastic twist i.e, the ending of John Carpenter's "Village of the Damned" and "The Thing." Or the ending of Robert Rodriguez's "Death Proof" (Note: SHAME on you movie watchers who did not understand "Grindhouse"). Now those are some endings that leave you thinking. This movie is probably best served to newly found horror fans or some Halloweeners on October 31st. Sorry folks, I have to be honest. This movie really ain't worth a nickel, until the remake. That is if there is one and if Hollywood doesn't F&$K that up. I'm selling my copy of "Night of the Comet." Anyone want to buy? Sorry no "nickel discounts".
Good 80s campy fun.......2007-06-16
Do you like zombie movies but feel that Romero is too preachy? Well this may be the movie for you. It has the scared female protaganist of Night of the Living Dead, the blantant capitalistic joys of malls like Dawn of the Dead, and the confined underground scientists of Day of the Dead. It has zombies at different levels of intelligence in it like Land of the Dead which came two decades later, making it ahead of its time when it comes to the zombie genre.
Now in all seriousness Night of the Comet is cheesy as it gets and if you are one that enjoys movies so bad that they are good than give this movie a shot. It doesn't offer any special features and although I wish it did provide a commentary of sorts, the cheapness of the product lets this omission slide. So get a few friends, a few drinks, pop in this DVD, and let the campy fun begin.

Night Watch is that rare film that--like The Matrix--is not only visually dazzling but creates an intriguing, seductive, and thrilling alternative world. A young man named Anton, after dabbling in black magic to bring back the wife who left him, discovers that the world is populated by fantastical Others (vampires, shape-shifters, witches, and more) who have chosen sides--Light or Dark--in an epic battle. A truce has been declared; both sides watch the other to ensure the truce is maintained. But a prophecy has predicted that a powerful Other will tilt the balance, and Anton--who is himself an Other--finds himself crucial to the prophecy's fulfillment. There's no question that Night Watch has weaknesses. Numerous plot holes get glossed over by pell-mell pacing, the visual conception of the apocalyptic battle between Light and Dark is curiously pedestrian (a bunch of knights fighting a bunch of guys in fur with swords--what happened to their various powers?), and more--but, much like similar problems with The Matrix, it doesn't matter.
The alternative world Night Watch presents is so rich with possibilities that it takes on a life of its own, both as an imaginative universe and as a vivid metaphor for the moral complexities of our own lives--for example, though the forces of Light claim to be good, their often brutal actions call their virtue into question, and the forces of Dark make some compelling moral arguments on the topic. The movie is so overstuffed with ideas that many don't get fleshed out, but that only contributes to the sense of vitality and unexplored dimensions. Even the subtitles are used creatively. The impending sequels (this is the first film of a trilogy) may--like The Matrix--take all the stimulating possibilities Night Watch raises and drag them into the toilet, but for the moment, this is the sort of electric excitement that blockbuster movies promise but so rarely deliver. --Bret Fetzer
Description
Among normal humans live the "Others" possessing various supernatural powers. They are divided up into the forces of light and the forces of the dark, who signed a truce several centuries ago to end a devastating battle. Ever since, the forces of light govern the day while the night belongs to their dark opponents. In modern day, the dark Others actually roam the night as vampires while a "Night Watch" of light forces, among them Anton, try to control them and limit their outrage.

Mediocre movie based on a great novel.......2007-06-13
It is disappointing to see that Russian film makers are apparently as inept as their Hollywood counterparts when it comes to translating books to film. I realize that some changes are necessary due to the differences in medium but it seems odd that in this case one of the sacrifices are the great visuals described by Sergei Lukyanenko in his novels. Instead of the Twilight as described by Lukyanenko we get flies and people fading in and out. Its not just the Twilight either. Instead of a black vortex over Svetlana's head, we get her hair blowing all around her and then, later, a bunch of crows flying circles over her building.
Unfortunately its not just the visuals that change either. Lukyanenko's story ponders the difference between the Light and the Dark and how Good often does Evil in pursuit of what it sees as the greater good as Anton seeks to unravel the mystery of whats actually going on around him. Those complexities are pretty much gone in order to turn the movie into a more streamlined actioner that requires little thought to follow. For example, Zabulon's machiavellian manipulations are largely replaced with him repeatedly playing out the final confrontation with Anton in the form of a video game until things go the way he wants them.
In a reversal of the book, the more important Svetlana storyline is reduced to a minor subplot that is resolved in a singularly unsatisfying sequence and which seems to have little, if any, connection to the plot surrounding Egor.
The director makes some curious choices as well. Despite the movie's emphasis on action, the rooftop confrontation between Night and Day Watch is reduced to a brief fight between Anton and Zabulon. I suppose this allows for more shots of the Nightwatchmen, clad in matching jumpsuits and dark sunglasses, tooling around town in what can only be termed the Nightwatch-mobile. Also, because the story apparently isn't cliched enough, Egor is now Anton's son and he now chooses a side rather than balance between Light and Dark like he does in the novel.
My advice would be to read the novel and forget the movie. You'll get a better story that way.
Lots of fun.......2007-06-02
I liked this movie. You get the sense while watching it that the filmmakers really went for style over substance, but you won't mind so much because the style is handled so well and the substance, thin as it is, isn't botched like so many diasters we've seen before.
Watch it in Russian not just to hear the original actors, but also because the subs were done in a very creative way that makes them a joy to read.
Light vs. Dark?.......2007-06-01
I'll keep this brief; I wanted to point out some things as my perspective, my opinion of what I've seen so far.
This is NOT Light vs. Dark.
This is a deconstruction of Light and Dark.
This is an opportunity to understand the personality, methodology and mannerisms of those who favor feeding off the hopes or fears of humanity.
The abashment of those caught in what might be considered "the middle" and the utter ignorance of those that are unawares.
To quote "Olga" (adlib): "The difference between light others and dark others is the part of the human they feed on."
I find this concept quite intriguing.
This movie's "trance" comes more from relying on the strength of plot and good acting over the visual overload that bad movies have to rely on so heavily.
Don't get me wrong though, I will not speak badly of the visual affects, they were tantalizing and provocative; Eye candy without the sugar-shock. I really enjoyed how "The Gloom" was realized.
I look forward to the future installments of this movie.
great movie, if a little flawed.......2007-05-31
I have seen this twice now, and read the books to go with it. Yes, it does stray drastically from the books, but I must admit that I like what they have done. There was no way they could have made this movie and stayed honest to the books' stories. So instead they took ideas from the book and made it their own movie. Rarely do I like when directors do this (Peter Jackson), but it truly does work here.
As for the movie, it is stunning to watch. The only reason for the 4 star rating instead of 5 is that there is a clutter of information in the story that just gets confusing. It isn't an intellectual thing, rather it's just a bit of poor story telling. This is not the original cut of the movie though. The russian version is longer, and this one was "Americanized". I haven't seen the original (though I'm dying to), but it may resolve these issues. With that said, the movie flows very well and is just unbelievably shot. What great cinemetography and effects. And brilliant use of subtitles.
Watch this flick, you will not be disapointed.
I don't want to wait for the next ones........2007-05-21
I thought this movie was good because it is different than all the American movies that I am used to seeing. This trilogy was compaired to The Lord of Rings, and yes I can see that comparison but I think it's better. The one bad thing is that the the last movie (Dusk Watch I believe it is) has not been made yet or does not have a release date and Day watch just recently reached American movie theaters. Over all, awesome movie!

TV show trumps movie -- again.......2007-07-02
Don't confuse tbis DVD with the movie "Curious George," which comes in a similar DVD case. These are episodes from the far superior TV show. Not that the movie isn't worth your time and money. This is just so much more so.
The product lives up to the credits: Dr. John on the swinging theme song; Ron Howard and Brian Glazer executive producing; and William H. Macy, who makes the most of any role he assumes, as narrator.
There's an urban, downtown quality to these episodes, from being drawn in the manner of classic New Yorker cartoons to the jazzy soundtrack, extending even to the live action suffixes in which a group of young kids further delving into some element in the episode. Even when they're in a rural setting, you get the feeling these kids aren't suburban spawn.
George comes off as a monkey-fied human preschooler, one of the many elements with which the writers have fun (one character calls George "a city kid"). The Man in The Yellow Hat, though often in the stereotypical Long-Suffering Parent supporting role, manages to be more than a two-dimensional character. Watch these episodes and the ones that still air on PBS and you'll learn of a full cast of characters, only a couple of which could be called "cardboard."
It's always a good morning when my daughter wants to watch, "Monkey George."
Happy 3-year-old, happy parents!.......2007-06-08
I bought this for a long car trip with my 3-year-old son, and it did not disappoint. The stories are appropriate for younger children, and I was pleasantly surprised that my son even enjoys the segments with real children after each episode. (I have tried to forward past them, and he stops me!) As a parent, I like the gentle, loving approach that the adult characters take in dealing with George's mischievous behavior, as well as the emphasis given to George's creativity in solving problems. If your child loves George and his antics, s/he will likely enjoy this video.
So Cute!.......2007-05-15
This is a great DVD! However, it is the same cartoon that you can watch daily on PBS Kids. It is great for the car though because it is VERY long - 8 total episodes with the classroom shorts inbetween. Highly recommended!
Daughters Love It.......2007-05-15
As soon as they hear the theme music, my daughters (6, 5, & 2) come running...I know I'm guaranteed two hours of uninterrupted work time since they are glued to the tv watching this DVD...THANK YOU!!
Great for on the road!.......2007-05-12
My 2 1/2 year old son LOVES Curious George and doesn't mind watching the same episodes over and over, and over again. While traveling, he's alwys asking to watch George in the car. While he likes the full length movie, this DVD collection is great to have on hand. The episodes are quick and he can choose his favorites to watch. We're looking forward to more collections of George's episodes like this in the future!

Angel's Halloween bash.......2007-03-28
OK, so the plot isn't the most original in the world, a kind of "The Amityville Horror" by way of Freddy Krueger-ish wise cracking demon monsters. "Night of the Demons" is about a bunch of likeable (but to the slasher standard unremarkable) stereotypical kids who decide to have a party in an old funeral home. After dancing and drinking for awhile they think it would be fun to have a séance and accidentally unleash the spirits that have lain dormant in the house for so long.
I will be the first to admit there a few logic problems with this movie, the biggest question was how did the monsters become bound to that house in the first place? They aren't ghosts, which would sort of make sense because it's a funeral home, but demons. How did the kids find out about the place? And dose anyone notice that nymphomaniac Suzanne (Linnea Quigley) is quiet a bit older than the other kids (though she's pretty hot in her costume). The acting is pretty atrocious, but what do you expect? The only stand out is Quigley, who was the 1980s reigning scream queen, and shows us things she can do with a tube of lipstick that are pretty wild. Even she is not very convincing.
OK, so far I have been pretty hard on the movie, but there is plenty good about it too. As I said before the kids, while not original, are pretty likable, especially Angela; well, at first anyway. It's the film's sense of humor that's it's redeeming quality. At that time horror movies were taking themselves pretty seriously (despite what you may think), and the script felt pretty light on it's feet. I first saw this movie when I was pretty young, and it scared me to death back then. It is much cornier now, but some of the disturbing images stayed with me for a long time. The gore was pretty impressive too, and that was the selling point to me for this movie. The editing was lean and sharp, and the set design was impressive considering how little money they had to work with.
Pretty good for a Halloween party movie, just don't invite the girl with the lipstick.
Good movie.......2007-03-26
I remember watching this film in the late 80's for the first time on VHS and now again on DVD. I've always been a fan of horror films and say
this is a good 80's horror film watch it.
Linnea Quigley, Demonized!..........2007-03-07
Ah, the 80s! Funny clothes and even funnier haircuts. Still, there is a certain charm about it now. Take NIGHT OF THE DEMONS for instance. It starts out slow and fairly lame, then BOOM! Linnea Quigley (Return Of The Living Dead, Graduation Day) gets possessed and it's party time! Yes, I'm a Linnea loon! She has a way of turning just about any movie into a must see classic! You've all seen or heard about the infamous "Lipstick Disappear-o" scene and Ms. Q's tendency to shed her clothes like nobody's business (praise the Lord). However, she is also great in her demonic persona. She is pretty creepy and menacing for a SoCal gal! Check out her face when she says, "Stop looking at me!" Yikes! I highly recommend NOTD to all LQ fanatics...
Essential for the Horror Fanatic.......2007-02-19
As a child this movie scared that crap out of me. As an adult I found the story and the horrible acting very entertaining. The special effects are great for their time and there are some genuine "boo!" moments that make you jump. Definitely a fun movie to watch and an essential part of a decent horror movie collection.
Horror Review.......2007-02-08
Overall, this is one of those late 80s horror films with cheap actors and low-budget settings. But, the script did not need high-paying actresses like Julia Roberts or Susan Sarandon in order to be successful. The film is trictly about the average horny teenagers who are looking for a cheap scare for the Halloween night at an abandoned parlor home. It was the sight of a gruesome massacre, according to the story. Apparently, the house is POSSESSED and the spirits living inside of it are considered demons. So, here comes the spirited crowd of partiers with a willingness to raise some hell. And, of course, you can predict the storyline as of what happens. The only thing that I can say is useful out of these B-horror films, just as I commented on "Puppet Master" and "Friday the 13th Part 6: Jason Lives", is that these movies provided some hintful ideas for women who might be having some sexual difficulties regarding getting their mates "in the mood" as frequently as they are. If you women are experiencing that problem or would like to spice it up, then pull out your debit card and order some horror flicks mentioned. Some of the best ideas have been pulled out from these films, not Playboy pornography. One peculiar scene is where two lovers are getting it on in a coffin. Out of all the women I have personally dated, maybe only one or two would be possibly open-minded enough to elaborate in some different settings for sexuality. Key word: POSSIBLY!
So, take a glance at some of these horror films. You might catch an idea. But, in reality with all due respect to the fellas, I don't think the majority of us will get very lucky. As my father always said, "Only in the movies!"

In the entire history of American movies, The Night of the Hunter stands out as the rarest and most exotic of specimens. It is, to say the least, a masterpiece--and not just because it was the only movie directed by flamboyant actor Charles Laughton or the only produced solo screenplay by the legendary critic James Agee (who also cowrote The African Queen). The truth is, nobody has ever made anything approaching its phantasmagoric, overheated style in which German expressionism, religious hysteria, fairy-tale fantasy (of the Grimm-est variety), and stalker movie are brought together in a furious boil. Like a nightmarish premonition of stalker movies to come, Night of the Hunter tells the suspenseful tale of a demented preacher (Robert Mitchum, in a performance that prefigures his memorable villain in Cape Fear), who torments a boy and his little sister--even marries their mixed-up mother (Shelley Winters)--because he's certain the kids know where their late bank-robber father hid a stash of stolen money. So dramatic, primal, and unforgettable are its images--the preacher's shadow looming over the children in their bedroom, the magical boat ride down a river whose banks teem with fantastic wildlife, those tattoos of LOVE and HATE on the unholy man's knuckles, the golden locks of a drowned woman waving in the current along with the indigenous plant life in her watery grave--that they're still haunting audiences (and filmmakers) today. --Jim Emerson

The Night of the Hunter.......2007-06-26
Gothic suspense/horror entry was actor Laughton's only outing behind the camera, and he was heart-broken when it failed at the box office. Evidently, the film was simply too dark for audiences of the time. Mitchum is terrifying as Preacher Harry, a wolf in sheep's clothing who has the word "Love" printed on the fingers of one hand, "Hate" on the other. Winters is perfectly cast as the dim Willa, but the stand-out is silent actress Gish as gun-toting Rachel Cooper, the kids' unlikely protector. Eerily composed and shot, and featuring a brilliant screenplay by James Agee, "Hunter" remains a spine-chilling masterpiece.
The movie no child will ever forget.......2007-02-18
"He ain't my dad."
"No. And he ain't no preacher either."
In my opinion Lillian Gish, the wonderful silent film actress, is the real prize in this film. She embodies the little goodness that may be left in the world. She is the willing instrument of God -He always picks the weakest and least of us for His purposes- in the plan to protect children from evil.
The film starts starts with a warning against false teachers, and thus, plainly states what the story is going to be about; so there's no need to waste words explaining anything. It just amazes me how well it measures the amount of evil and destruction that is around us, and how little goodness and inocence. Children and an old woman, that's all the goodness you will find. Everybody else is rotten, and they'd better repent and humble themselves before it's too late. Not only the false preacher, instrument of the devil, but everybody is guilty. Just pay attention. Who is not guilty of something here? Even the poor kids' old uncle won't help them -he is drunk when most needed-. And what about the officer in charge of killing the ones who are sentenced to death? He ain't happy either with what he has to do, however, he would rather keep his job. Not to mention the mob: such a crowd of hypocrites and gullible people.
Yup. Methinks there's enough guilt stinking around for everyone to have a little sniff. But for the innocent children. I loved, though, how the old lady gave an earnest spanking to the boy when he wouldn't wash.
No kid should skip this movie. It can be a spiritual experience out of which may grow, some day, some good seed in their hearts.
Still, some people will say this is not a Christian movie... or even worse: that it exposes Christians thru their hypocrisy.
Beware of false teachers; know them by their fruits. And love the Lord first and foremost.
P.S. And how about being located in the South? You say that people in the North are not so gullible and fanatical? Well, I say that if that's so maybe they are already dead (spiritually). Long live the South.
Don't he never sleep?.......2007-01-23
The best kind of horror comes not from monsters or ghosts, but from other human beings. "Cape Fear," "Heavenly Creatures," and other such movies are brilliant examples of this.
But one of the most compelling examples is "Night of the Hunter," a haunting movie that slowly descends into an exquisitely-filmed, brilliantly-acted nightmare about a malign preacher and the two children who are trying to escape. Like an old fairy tale, it's full of terror, magic, beauty and darkness.
Murderous preacher Harry Powell (Robert Mitchum) is arrested for car theft, since the police don't know that his hatred of women has led him to repeated murder. He shares a prison cell with bank robber Ben Harper (Peter Graves), who stole ten thousand dollars. Powell tries to coax the location of the money from Harper, but the thief takes it to his grave. Only his son John (Billy Chapin) knows its location.
Upon his release, Powell arrives in Harper's town, claiming that he wants to "bring this small comfort to [Ben's] loved ones." Everyone is taken in by him, including his new wife -- Ben's gullible widow, Willa (Shelley Winters). When she vanishes, John and his little sister Pearl (Sally Jane Bruce) must escape their evil stepfather -- even though he's determined to hunt them down and find the money.
When it was first released, "Night of the Hunter" flopped completely. Not very surprising -- the 1950s audiences weren't ready for the unconventional villains, rich symbolism, or the fact that an actor had dared to stray into a director's chair. Fortunately, it lived on as a cult film, and is now regarded as a classic.
It's especially sad that Laughton never directed again, because this is simply astonishing. It feels like a fairy tale, with Powell as the wicked witch, and the children as the protected innocents who are helped by a "fairy godmother." Laughton also loads it down with sexual and religious symbolism -- the LOVE and HATE tattoos, the switchblade, the eerie sacrifice scene.
Best of all is the cinematography. Beauty and horror are inextricably tied together: the dead Willa with "her hair waving soft and lazy like meadow grass under flood water," or the little river animals watching the children escape under a starlit sky. But there are also moments of pure terror, such as the preacher's shadow falling over the kids, or calling out as they're hiding, "I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now..."
Robert Mitchum played another evil stalker several years later in the superb "Cape Fear," but this performance is even better. His Powell is a seething mass of murderous fervour and sexual hatred -- his intense eyes are enough to give you goosebumps.
He's also backed by some excellent performances -- Chapin is amazing as the little boy determined to obey his father and somehow stop Powell. Bruce and Winters turn in some solid performances, and veteran Lillian Gish has a good supporting role as the kindly Rachel.
As chilling and compelling as when it was first released, "Night of the Hunter" is a vibrant, primal experience, and nobody has quite come close to what it portrays.
Laughton used every cinematic device to tighten the tensions..........2007-01-11
When I think of the special terror that comes from the vulnerability of the helpless I am haunted by the shock-memory of two films ("The Night of the Hunter" and "Cape Fear") which, by no means coincidentally, both starred Robert Mitchum...
Now there is an actor who would no doubt have attracted more critical garlands if he had not been so incredibly popular, if he had not intercepted such a variety of roles, and if a sardonic air of self-deprecation did not tend to obscure a high talent... If he had decided to specialize in villains, he might even have come to out-play the great Bogart because, to the menace they both could share, Mitchum was able to add a genuinely frightening brutality...
In 1955 Charles Laughton went round to the other side of the cameras to direct one and only one motion picture... Laughton used every cinematic device of camera-angle, sound and lighting to tighten the tensions...
Mitchum played a psychopathic preacher with a restrained malice who married and murdered Shelley Winters for her money - only to find that her young children had it, and he proceeded relentlessly to terrorize them...
Mitchum constructed a really superb characterization of the obsessed drifter, with "love" tattooed on one finger and "hate" on another to point his terrifying parables...
Innocence meets evil. .......2007-01-10
The story is a rather strange mixture of innocence and evil with Mitchum in one of his nastiest roles. It's almost like he was rehearsing for his nastiest role in CAPE FEAR. He meets his match in Lillian Gish's character who stands up to him and is just as courageous and savvy as she is "sweet". In fact, the performances were great all around in this atmospheric film. Charles Laughton, in his only stint at directing, does an excellent job but I think he might have done more with the climax because it did seem that it could have been a little better and have more tension. A very good example of film noir.

Perhaps the Greatest Vampire Movie of all Time.......2007-06-12
Fright Night is a horror movie in its most simplistic form. A teenage boy named Charlie Brewster (William Ragsdale, "Herman's Head") believes that his next door neighbor Jerry Dandridge (Chris Sarandon, "The Princess Bride") is a vampire. Of course no one believes him, especially his girlfriend Amy (Amanda Bearse, "Married with Children") and his buddy "Evil" Ed (Stephen Geoffreys, "Heaven Help Us"). Oh by the way, Evil Ed's classic line in this movie is, "Oh you're so cool Brewster."
Amy and Ed are concerned about Charlie's well being and figure humor his claims that his neighbor is a vampire. So Amy and Ed go to speak to Peter "The Great Vampire Killer" Vincent (Roddy McDowall, "Planet of the Apes"), a burnt out horror movie star turned late night T.V. show host for campy horror films (mainly his own). Charlie is a huge fan of Peter Vincent's work and conceders him a hero. This is why Charlie's friends seek Peter out. On the flip side, Amy and Ed are thinking Charlie's imagination is running amuck about Jerry because of all of his Peter Vincent viewing. Anyway I digress; Amy and Ed talk to Peter about their friend Charlie and the obsession that Jerry is a vampire. Now how two teenage kids are able to convince a movie star (burnt out or not) to speak with their "potential" insane friend, still befuddles me. Anyway, after some pretty definitive proof, it is discovered that Jerry REALLY IS A VAMPIRE! Charlie's confirmation is now fact and the other characters are quite shocked at this finding.
I will not give away any details or spoil this flick for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. Fright Night is really a fun movie and yes it does have some creepy and scary parts to it. I will also add that the movie has some pretty good special effects, they really aren't that cheesy. This movie was also made in 1985, which is the zenith of the 1980s, however this movie really doesn't seem dated. As a matter of fact, it is quite possible this movie is as relative today as it was back in 1985. The one part of the movie that could be abased for having a 1980s flare is the night club scene. There is the peachy music, "colorful" outfits and the hair sprayed hair. Then again, 1980s fashion is somewhat neo in these contemporary times, so it might not seem so dastardly. Ultimately, this movie isn't overshadowed by the fact that it was made in the 1980s.
Now when I say that this is the best vampire movie ever made, that is exactly what I mean. This movie has nothing to do with Dracula it is a basic vampire movie, so any comparisons with a Dracula is dubious. Hence Fright Night it is a marvelous vampire movie, not a marvelous Dracula Movie.
The acting in this movie is also really good; Chris Sarandon is smooth and suave as a vampire. He makes being a creature of the undead look like a lot of fun. Roddy McDowall is awesome as Peter Vincent (I love the throwback to Peter Cushing and Vincent Price in the character's name); he is dichotomy in his grapples with believing in vampires and faith. I think this was a bold performance by McDowall. William Ragsdale did a good job as Charlie. He looked a bit older than a 17 year old teenager, but then again this type of realism isn't why I am watching Fright Night. If that was the logic, then Elizabeth Shue was way too hot to be a hooker in Leaving Las Vegas. Consequently, these are the little persnickety thoughts I place into the box labeled "it is only a movie". Amanda Bearse was also fine as Amy, being both reserved and sexy. Stephen Geoffreys was also quite vexing in a jovial sort of way in his performance as Evil Ed. I also like how Jerry's "roommate" looks like a Xerox of Bill Paxton. Did anyone else notice that or was it just me?
As for the DVD itself, it is presented in letterbox/widescreen. There are several subtitles that can be utilized, so it is foreign speaking friendly. The original preview/trailer is included, which is somewhat a disappointment. It seems rather a mundane promotion for such a great movie. Nevertheless, it is cool that the trailer itself is included on the DVD.
Fright Night is great horror movie period. It also spawned a pretty good sequel in Fright Night 2. However, Fright Night stands fine by itself and I wish future vampire movies would use this movie as a paradigm. Mainly by having a basic story, good characters/acting performance and special effects that don't totally rely on computer graphics. Overall, a timeless piece of horror cinema which I am sure will still be enjoyed for many years to come.
Classic Horror, 80s Cheese.......2007-06-08
Ol' Charlie has a new neighbor and he turns out to be a blood sucking monster. No one believes Charlie. Not his mother, the police, or his girlfriend. They all believe he is crazy. If only they were right.
This is a horror classic from the mind of Tom Holland (Child's Play). If you've never seen this 80s incarnation of vampire cinema then you've been deprived. Before Vamp and the Lost Boys was the original horror comedy involving teens and the undead.
Wickedly campy romp!.......2007-06-04
This is one of the most memorable horror movies from the 80s, not because it was super scary or anything but because it was such a fun vampire flick. Charlie [William Ragsdale] is a horror buff who is convinced that his new next-door neighbor, Jerry Dandridge is a vampire. He tries to convince his girlfriend Amy [Amanda Bearse] and his best friend Evil to no avail. His last hope is Peter Vincent [Roddy McDowall] a TV actor who plays a vampire killer. The rest of the story deals with their efforts in tracking down and killing the vampire. The acting here is above average, and each character is memorable. William Ragsdale brings a certain earnestness to his role as Charlie, and Amanda Bearse plays the role of love interest to Charlie & Dandridge convincingly. However, the best role is the one of Jerry Dandridge, played most convincingly by Chris Sarandon. He is wickedly evil, with a wry sense of humor and dashing countenance. The storyline may have flaws in it, but this is just a fun vampire movie that should be enjoyed for what it is.
Great 80s horror film.......2007-05-13
As someone who saw almost horror movie made in the 80s, I can tell you that this is one of the better ones. It combines horror and comedy incredibly well and the older actors(Roddy McDowall and Chris Sarandon) deliver incredible spot on performances. The younger group do a good job as well, though they have their moments of "roughness". If you enjoy a great horror movie that is also very funny at the same time(purposely, not campy)...this is the movie for you.
My favorite vampire movie from the 80s.......2007-04-26
Who doesn't like Fright Night?...I haven't met one person yet that didn't enjoy Fright Night. I for one, love this movie and think its one of the best vampire movies from the 80s. Its kinda hard to believe that Amanda Bearse went from this..to Married..with Children....holy smokes!..lol...anyways, again as i said, this movie tops the 80s horror right along with Halloween..etc. etc. and should truly be in your horror collection..a true classic for all time, and remember, they barely play this film during Halloween as well...when is the last time you saw it on TV?...think about it!..thats why this is a must have!. Highly Recommended!!

Description
Join the Joie de Vivre club with the maddeningly charming Lola, as she plots to loosen up her fiancé in this exuberant comedy. Everyone is wild about Lola - even, some suspect, her own stepfather
Originally titled "Monella (Rascal)", "Frivolous Lola" has generally been available in censored versions. Here, for the first time outside of Italy, and with Subtitles, is the uncut masterwork of erotica at its most humorous. Long renowned for his work in documentaries and the avant-garde, director Tinto Brass is now famous as the world's premier erotic filmmaker, turning out movies that have bridged the gender gap, earning at least as many ardent female admirers as male fans. "Frivolous Lola" is perhaps his most likeable film yet.

Great, loved, and fun too. This film nice to watch when there's nothing you got in your DVD Adult collection.I'm a big fan of Tinto Brass it's to bad some of Hollywood movie machine studio don't pruduce the guy film, but thank god they don't his film are really racey.I'm being kind by saying that.I lot of other filmmakers try to follow this guyd film and some filmmaker sucseed and some failed badly.
Cheeky is a good film for adult lots of nudity and sex.
For thoughs who like soft core film this is it
I say buy it.
You Rascal You.......2007-02-15
This is a waste of film. Tinto Brass probably wanted to make a tease-flick, but this is just a shame. The young lady who can't keep her skirt down flaunts her desire for sex before marriage in such a way as to embarass the viewer - especially shameful is the bar scene where she keeps displaying her crotch to a table of soldiers in order to get her boyfriend jealous. Too bad this went too far. The Italian title, "Rascal," is a better fit for this one.
Whatever Lola Wants.......2007-01-13
It seems to be a leading lady in a Tinto Brass film you must:
* Be young and attractive
* Have an exceptional sensuous body
* Not be shy about nudity
* Exude a cheerful, lighthearted persona
* Act loveably naughty.
That has been the case in the previous Brass films I have watched and reviewed and Frivolous Lola is no exception. Rumor has it that the inscrutable producer of erotica met the vivacious young actress, Anna Ammirati while examining her body. The body of her car that is, after being involved in a traffic accident with her. It doesn't matter whose fault it was, the outcome was inevitable - Anna gallivanting around with little or no clothing in his next movie. Anna is reputed to have entreated the enigmatic director to feature her in his next movie and a enchanting match was born.
The Plot
Lola is a carefree lass in an unnamed village in Italy of some notoriety and gossip. Her mother who grew up there, left years before but returned with a handsome paramour, Andr'e and a vibrant sexually precocious teen daughter, Lola.
Lola is a virgin a condition she dislikes. She is engaged to the son of the village baker, Masetto, whom she wants to deflower her. Masetto would like to wait for their wedding night and this frustrates Lola.
A sub plot of the movie is Lola's relationship with her alleged father, Andr'e. They both find each other and find each other attractive.
The Story
The story revolves around Lola's efforts to get Masetto to make love with her and thus take her virginity. She tries various tricks, including making him jealous by coming on with other men. There was even a scene in a tavern where she is jitterbugging with three soldiers, sans her panties, with flashes of her genital folds and pubis.
Lola's alleged father Andr'e fascinates her. He is somewhat of a leach with prurient instincts and she is drawn to and fanaticizes about him. She makes a couple unsuccessful attempts to seduce him.
In the end Lola does trick Masetto into deflowering her - her term and at their wedding the next day a scene takes place between Lola and Andr'e where you are left wondering, no believing that they also have sex.
In hindsight it may be a take on that old song of the fifties, "Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets."
Conclusion
Lola is indeed frivolous and afew other adjectives ranging from adorable to bratty. Her self-centered thoughtless behavior is nothing short of tawdry. If there are women that behave so flippant, I wouldn't want to be engaged to them. Yet, as a viewer there is something winsome about her frolicsome, lighthearted, even compelling behavior.
As with other Brass movies I have viewed a typical theme permeates Frivolous Lola. Nothing is shameful to her. She with the overactive libido was born to enjoy life and she resents anyone that wants to rein her in, while her man is supposed to go along with her indiscretions
Frivolous Lola is an exercise in exhibitionism. The movie seems to be a memorial to Lola's or is it Anna Amirati's shapely figure with voyeuristic peeks at her genitalia. The story seems incidental, it is merely a vehicle to attain the desired effect.
I do not mean to sound like this is bad. Contrary, it is good. I found the movie to be funny entertaining and stimulating - one of his best and one of the better erotica movies available.
The lovely Anna Amirati was uniformly naughty and loveable. Her body was adorable and her acting endearing. Supporting actors, Packtrick Mower and Mario Parodi did well too.
The film was shot in what appeared to be the Italian countryside. The sets and costumes were colorful and the cinematography was first rate. Rating 4.6 stars
Save your money.......2006-11-10
Soft core porn masquerading as art, I didn't even make it through the first half hour of this film. Lola's cute, but it's still not worth the effort.
A great tease.......2006-09-13
Lola is a young woman/girl in a superficially conservative village who seems to just love not wearing a bra behind semi transparent blouses and dresses and flashing her [..] at priests as she rides her bicycle around town. Lola is VERY sexy, a bit too sexy for her own good it seems, but all is well in the end, everyone seems to get a bit and we all just have to sit back and allow Lola to show herself to us and enjoy. It is funny and sexy, what more could you ask for?

Psychological twists and turns strangle the plot of this disappointing effort from the director of The Stunt Man, Richard Rush. Emotionally damaged psychiatrist Bruce Willis leaves his practice behind and moves to LA when a patient commits suicide in front of him. Out of the goodness of his broken heart, he takes over the practice of a murdered colleague (Scott Bakula). Jane March is the needy but mysterious woman who literally crashes into his life, making sexual advances the good doctor soon reciprocates. What March seems to need most, however, is underwear. The plot and the dialogue vacillate between silly and inane, leaving us with some so-so sex and overblown performances. This could explain why it was the winner of the 1995 Razzie Award for Worst Picture. If you want a more effective thriller that delves into damaged psyches, take another look at Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo. --Rochelle O'Gorman
Description
Haunted by the bizarre suicide of a patient, New York psychologist Dr. Bill Capa abandons his successful practice and relocates to L.A., but his encounters there prove as shocking as the chilling event he has run away from, and he immediately finds himself entangled in an explosive sexual relationship with a beautiful but enigmatic woman named Rose, and the investigation into the brutal stabbing murder of a friend and colleague, Dr. Bob Moore. A moth drawn to a flame, Dr. Capa is lured to Rose by his sexual cravings, and he discovers this woman has the power to fulfill his most reckless erotic fantasies. Yet, the more she satisfies him, the more he finds himself enslaved by her manipulation and control. As Capa gets closer to identifying the killer of his patient, Rose becomes an equally tantalizing mystery that he must solve -- if he can stay alive long enough to avoid a lunatic murderer who is stalking him.

Recycles Miami Vice episode "Love At First Sight".......2007-06-29
Jane March replaces Iman but I guess the producers (Bruce Willis and his friend/husband at the time of Jane March) decided to keep the baseball jacket. Iman's five second transformation scared the Christ out of me (for good.)
Tries to be a psychological thriller but fails.......2007-03-19
This movie won the Razzie award for Worst Motion Picture of 1994. Oddly enough though, it didn't win in any of the other "worst of" categories. This really says something about the film. The fact is, it is just hard to point to any one or even combination of factors of why it is so bad. It's not that any one particular performance is bad or an actor or actress is miscast or that there is particularly cheesy dialogue as is so often the case in a "bad film". It's just that the whole thing comes together to form a whole lot of nothing. It's more what isn't in the film than what is in it that makes it mediocre. Sure, the ending is unexpected, but it would also be unexpected if I found an extra broom when I was cleaning out my closet. That wouldn't make it remarkable, interesting, or even noteworthy. Because I never grew to care about the characters I couldn't be expected to care about the ending. The film is trying to be a psychological thriller with Willis as the protagonist trying to unravel the mystery. What comes out over the duration of the film are just many seemingly disjointed odd events meant to shock but just don't form any kind of cohesive plot. Instead we have what could have been a strong cast of characters in good performances spending the whole film trying to figure out exactly who they are supposed to be. The explicit love scenes between Willis and Jane March are just annoying more than anything as they seem to scream "This is a consolation prize to make up for the fact that you're sitting through such a bad film".
Funny Sci-fi psychological thriller.......2006-11-10
The movie is entertaining and thrilling at times. This is not the best of Bruce Willis performances, however, it seems that for the producers and film makers it was more important to explore on Bruce Willis erotism than on a great plot they had in hands, if addressed from the psychological perspective. The plot reinforces the concept of how arrogant and insensitive a sychologist can become, especially if he, unprofessionally, gets sexually involved with the pacients he treats. This is the most laughable part of the movie, by the way! I personally think that Scott Bakula could have performed a better role as Dr. Capa. It is puzzling how hollywood producers discard some good actors with no reason at all...Unfortunatelly, Bruce Willis is just a nice face to see as his acting is poor in dramas. He certainlly does a lot better in action movies when there is a little talking.
Compelling and Suspenseful.......2006-11-10
This movie is one of my best. It offers alot of surprise and suspense from beginning to end. It's a sorid tale of who done its, and the acting is superb. I was extremely excited to find this on DVD so that I could add this to my collection.
Lots of skin, not a lot of brains.......2005-11-30
I give this movie 4 stars for one reason...skin...Janes and Bruces...I have to say that each of these attractive individuals shows off more than one can chew...Miss March may not be much of an actress but she looks good naked, and while this is not Mr. Willis's finest performance, he sure had me standing at attention (good god is he hot)...anyways, the plot is good but the script was wack...would have been much much better had the script been tweaked a bit. Bruce is a great actor and I feel did what he could with what he had to work with (which wasn't much) but the sex scenes were hot and did I mention theres a lot of skin...my only dissapointment with Bruce's nudity was that his butt cheeks were whiter than white (although he still looks good and you do see a full frontal shot). No complaints about Miss March because she showed alot and was smoking hot the entire movie...noce rack sweetheart...ANyways, if you want a good movie skip this one...if you want to see to extremly hot people having gratuitus sex in a pool in a bed on a table and in a shower with male and female nudity then get this movie...

When it comes to an expressive set of lungs for horror, it's hard to match Jamie Lee Curtis, who set the standard for nonstop screaming in Halloween. She built her reputation as a scream queen in such subsequent outings as The Fog, Terror Train, and this similarly themed and relatively subpar horror outing. A progenitor of I Know What You Did Last Summer, this film focuses on four high school friends on prom night who are being stalked by a masked maniac seeking revenge for a death that occurred six years earlier. Guess who lives to tell the tale? --Marshall Fine
Product Description
Directed by Paul Lynch, this cult horror masterpiece starring Leslie Nielsen and scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis paved the way for future slasher films and inspired such blockbusters as Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. For six long years, Hamilton High School seniors Kelly (Marybeth Rubins), Jude (Joy Thompson), Wendy (Eddie Benton), and Nick (Casey Stevens) have been hiding the truth of what happened to ten-year-old Robin Hammond the day her broken body was discovered near an old abandoned convent. The foursome kept secret how they taunted Robin - backed her into a corner until, frightened, she stood on a window ledge...and fell to her death. Though an accident, the then-twelve-year-olds feared they'd be held responsible and vowed never to tell. But someone else was there that day...watching. And now, that someone is ready to exact murderous revenge - on prom night.

Disco hell.......2007-05-14
I read a startling bit of news the other day on one of the horror websites I frequent on a regular basis. According to this article, someone in Hollywood is rolling full steam ahead on a "Prom Night" remake. Oh no! What is going on out there in Tinseltown? Is there no one left with an ounce of creativity? "Prom Night"! Next thing you know, someone's going to start talking about remaking "Black Christmas". Oh wait--that already happened with absolutely devastating consequences. After finally sitting down with the original "Prom Night," I can't imagine why anyone would want to bring this one back to the silver screen. It's not good in any way, shape, or form, and it's extremely unlikely a "reimagining" (That's a new word Hollywood unloads on the anxious suckers worried about a remake that might soil an original classic--sounds better, friendlier, don't you think?) will improve upon the pedestrian qualities of the original. I've seen billions of slasher flicks, many from the heyday of the late 1970s and early 1980s, and "Prom Night" ranks as one of the worst. It's even worse than "Terror Train". Sadly, both films star scream queen Jamie Lee Curtis. No wonder she left the genre.
"Prom Night" starts off with a childhood tragedy that should never have happened. A bunch of kids playing some sort of game in an abandoned house end up killing one of their playmates. How does it happen? The kid does a header out a window and slams into the ground. Why did it happen? The four youngsters taunted the other kid so badly that in the process of trying to escape, she backed up to that window ledge. Ooops. The surviving little ones immediately make some sort of pact, a promise if you will, that no one will tell the adults exactly what took place. After all, they're afraid something bad will happen to them if they tell the truth. What they don't know, what they won't know until their teenage years some years later, is that someone saw what happened that horrible day. And that someone is silently hiding away, biding their time and plotting a nasty vengeance that will rain death and destruction down on this little town. The resulting horror will take place, of course, on PROM NIGHT! Bum, bum, bum! Oh the humanity! Oh the horror! Oh brother! I wish I'd taken the header out the window after viewing this trash!
Six years later, all the kiddie murderers are grown up and planning their prom night. We have Kelly (Marybeth Robbins), Jude (Joy Thompson), Wendy (Eddie Benton), and Nick (Casey Stevens) all going through the motions planning for the big night. Also looking forward to the big event is Kim Hammond (Curtis) and her brother Alex (Michael Tough). It was their sister who took the Nestea plunge all those years ago. It's kind of a bummer for them since their father Raymond (Leslie Nielsen) is the school principal, but you gotta do what you gotta do. As the nighttime party nears, all four of the principals involved in the accident receive a frightening phone call from some wacko who likes to tap a pencil on a pad of paper. Hmmm. The story tries to fill time by introducing us to various tensions involving getting dates for the dance, keeping a date for the dance, hooking up with a ridiculous nerd driving a van, fighting in school, and trying to undermine the prom queen (Curtis, of course). You get the idea. By the time we get to prom night, I'm ready to turn in for the evening. Nothing exciting happens in this film aside from those creepy phone calls.
Actually, that's not quite accurate. A few things of interest do occur, and it's worth mentioning them here. One, "Prom Night" is relatively sauce free. Sure, we get a neat decapitation at one point in the proceedings, but most of the kills in the movie take place in that great unknown land called "Offscreen". That's a big strike against the movie right there. Two, the movie came out in 1980, which meant that filming probably took place a year or two earlier. You know what that means: DISCO! Yep, expect to see plenty of disco dancing in this film. It's painful in the extreme. I'd rather take an axe in the head than watch interminable scenes of Jamie Lee Curtis cutting the rug with her best Travolta dance moves. Feel the energy! Feel the excitement! Why I can't I feel my legs anymore? Yuck. I'm watching the disco fever unfold and preying the psycho sets off a car bomb outside. Anything to make the pain go away. Because that's what we're dealing with in "Prom Night": severe pain from watching such an inept clunker unfurl on the screen. I didn't even care about the identity of the killer in the end. All I wanted was to see the closing credits.
Two interesting notes about "Prom Night" and then we'll call it a night. First, I think the movie is in the public domain because all sorts of inferior prints of the film are circulating out there in movie land. The copy I watched on DVD looked awful and didn't have any extras. Second, the film must have done well at the box office since Hollywood unleashed no less than three sequels on an unsuspecting public. Have I seen any of them? Nope. Would I watch them? Probably. What can I say? I'm a sucker for horror flicks. That, and I'm sure they don't have disco scenes. Looking back over my review, I say go ahead and remake this movie. It can't be any worse. They should keep the disco scenes intact, though. That way if the horror doesn't work, at least the audience will find some entertainment through laughter. One star. Avoid the original "Prom Night" at all costs.
Excellent Movie.......2007-05-14
I had this movie a long time ago but I lost it this is the best movie that I have ever seen I ahve always loved Jamie Lee Curtis she is a really good actor.
PROM NIGHT: Everyone is preparing for the prom...If your not back by midnight you won't be coming home!!!.......2007-02-25
PROM NIGHT is a disco-classic slasher frenzy that will make you watch it over and over
Disco,Jamie Lee Curtis and Rolling Heads..I'm There.......2007-02-10
"Prom Night" Is another of my favorite early Slashers.
I love the disco soundtrack and the whole late 70's feel of the movie. Ever since I saw Halloween I craved more Jamie lee Curtis and this gives you a healthy dose.
The plot is pretty usual but the killer wasn't predictable like a lot of slasher movies.
It's a horror/slasher classic,not much gore but still effective .
Can I say as a woman I would never take a ride from a fat boy in a VAN~!!
Jude~! what were you feelin girl?
And in the 70's and 80's slashers the jocks usually didn't have any muscles
But the girls always had big [...]. go figure. ANYWAY..buy the movie it's slasher royalty.
