Having made his reputation as one of the most prolific and gifted horror writers of his generation (prompting Stephen King to call him "the future of horror"), Clive Barker made a natural transition to movies with this audacious directorial debut from 1987. Not only did Barker serve up a chilling tale of devilish originality, he also introduced new icons of horror that since have become as popular among genre connoisseurs as Frankenstein's monster and the Wolfman. Foremost among these frightful visions is the sadomasochistic demon affectionately named Pinhead (so named because his pale, bald head is a geometric pincushion and a symbol of eternal pain). Pinhead is the leader of the Cenobites, agents of evil who appear only when someone successfully "solves" the exotic puzzle box called the Lamont Configuration--a mysterious device that opens the door to Hell. The puzzle's latest victim is Frank (Sean Chapman), who now lives in a gelatinous skeletal state in an upstairs room of the British home just purchased by his newlywed half-brother (Andrew Robinson, best known as the villain from Dirty Harry), who has married one of Frank's former lovers (Claire Higgins). The latter is recruited to supply the cannibalistic Frank with fresh victims, enabling him to reconstitute his own flesh--but will Frank succeed in restoring himself completely? Will Pinhead continue to demonstrate the flesh-ripping pleasures of absolute agony? Your reaction to this description should tell you if you've got the stomach for Barker's film, which has since spawned a number of interesting but inferior sequels. It's definitely not for everyone, but there's no denying that it's become a semiclassic of modern horror. --Jeff Shannon

OPEN THE DOOR TO A TWISTED, DARK WORLD.......2007-06-19
Clive Barker realy caught lightning in a bottle with this movie. With this movie, Clive Barker took a Lovecraftian idea and fused it with his own sado-masachist,pain verses pleasure ideas. the result is a complete new enviroment for horror that still holds up, and i'm sure, will hold up for years to come. I don't like giving spoilers so I'll give a brief overview. Larry and his new wife, Julia are moving into the old family home after his brother, Frank disapeared. To celebrate the occation, Kirsty, Larry's daughter has come. It seems Larry doesn't know that Frank, as well as sleeping with Julia, is involved with the occult. He purchased a puzzle box(the Lament Configuration) with the desire to open a doorway to experiance the threshold of pleasure. What he got was unimaginable pain and torment compliments of Pinhead and the Cenobites. As Larry is moving furniture, he cuts, his hand and the blood spilling on the floor somehow ressurects Frank. This has got to be one of the best parts of the movie!! It's very graphic, but with the symphonic music in the backround, it becomes vey beautiful. After Frank's "resurection" all "HELL" breaks loose. This movie was way ahead of its time and was a relief to all the lame slasher films of the time. Any fan of H.P. Lovercraft and science-fiction horror should check this one out!!!
One of the best horror movies I've ever seen.......2007-03-21
I just watched this movie for the first time in years. When I was a kid, it was one of my favorites, and I'll admit that I wasn't expecting much this time around. After a recent viewing of NightBreed (which I also loved when I was younger), I was prepared to have a similar experience with Hellraiser. Instead, I was surprised at how well this movie has held up over the years. Unlike NightBreed, which comes across as cheesey and poorly acted, Hellraiser is still a good horror movie.
The thing that struck me the most about this movie is how complex the plot was for the genre. Back when it was made, horror was dominated by Jason Voorhies and Freddy Krueger. The average horror movie consisted of a bunch of teen-agers being stalked by the Unstoppable Killer, who would slaughter them all in gruesome fashion for such unforgivable crimes as Smoking, Drinking, Having Sex, and Being Mean To The Nice Girl and/or Bookworm Kid (although the Bookworm Kid would usually die first if he commited the deadliest horror movie sin of all... Wearing Glasses).
Instead of these tired old cliches, Hellraiser brought us something fresh, and much deeper. The plot centers on a love triangle between Larry Cotton, his wife Julia, and his brother Frank. The movie opens with Frank solving the Puzzle Box (and suffering the consequences) in his attic. Following Frank's disappearance, Larry and Julia move into the old house. Julia is reluctant, because being in the house stirs old memories of her affair with Frank. But she relents under Larry's enthusiasm. While they're moving in, Larry cuts his hand on a nail. The blood soaking into the floorboards partially revives Frank, bringing him back to a kind of half-life. Frank then convinces Julia to help him get more blood, so he can become whole again. The interplay between Frank and Julia is very layered for this kind of movie. Julia forces herself to become a seductress and murderer, all while telling herself that it will let her finally be with the man she loves. Frank uses his obvious emotional power over Julia to convince her to do unspeakable things for him, all while looking for his next conquest (Larry's daughter Kirsty).
Although they would become the main characters later in the series, Pinhead and the other Cenobites get comparitively little screen time in this film. I think this gives thier appearance a much greater impact when it finally happens. Later movies would reduce Pinhead to being just another horror movie slasher. But here, when the Cenobites arrive to return the murderous and manipulative Frank to Hell, they almost seem to be instruments of divine (?!) justice. As Pinhead himself says at one point: "We are Angels to some, Demons to others".
Where's the uncut version??!!? Uncut Version: 5 stars!!!.......2007-03-10
I first saw this DVD at my friend's place. I was instantly blown away by this movie. In fact, i consider this one of the best horror movies ever made! But my friend's dvd was completly uncut (he owns the american DVD edition). I wanted to have the same totally uncut version my friend owns, but this new cut version is missing great parts like the full shot of the "Ripped to shreds" scene. Who the hell thought of cutting essential parts of an otherwise awesome movie??? Seems like i must search hardly now for the first UNCUT edition print of this DVD in other areas.
"If you cheat us, we'll tear your soul apart!".......2007-02-11
I've read The Hellbound Heart, but the fresh approach Clive Barker made in directing the film added "uumph" to an already excellent story. What a visual conception! Goobers coming up from the floor, the unforgettable scene of spinal cord meeting the goopy brain, the gelid, slippery goo, the half-formed rib cage - hello vicar!
Larry and Julia Cotton are moving into the house left to Larry (Andrew Robinson) and his wayward brother Frank (Sean Chapman). The house is a mess, with maggots in the kitchen and a makeshift bed and evil shrine in one of the upstairs rooms. The shrine shows evidence that Frank has been and gone from the house.
After cleanup, while moving, Larry cuts his hand on a nail and bleeds heavily onto the bare floorboards of the room which formerly held the shrine. Julia (played by Clare Higgins - her businesslike sexiness was a real turn-on) has been reminiscing in the room over her former affair with Frank.
It turns out Frank had been playing with a very dangerous toy in his room, Lemarchard's Box, which opens the gates to a hellish realm ruled by Cenobites from the Order Of The Gash. Indeed, Frank unlocked the gates to hell itself. Larry's blood on the floor sparks Frank's return from hell, growing his flesh back from goo.
Enter the Cenobites, "Angels to some, Nightmares to others", starring Pinhead (played by Doug Bradley). The cenobites rule the worlds of pain and pleasure (we have such sights to show you). Frank wants to come back from hell, and convinces Julia to bring him more blood in order to fill out his fleshless body.
But she's observed by Kirsty, Larry's daughter, and when Kirsty discovers that Frank is alive in the house, she manages to get the box away from him and inadvertently summons the Cenobites again. Can Kirsty make a bargain with Hell, for Pinhead to accept Frank's return instead of taking her?
This is one of the best horror flicks ever made. Pinhead rocks! He's evil and nasty looking, as are his followers. There's a lot of gore and gross, gooey things in the film, more than enough to satisfy that unnatural taste you have for bleeding flesh. Julia's coldness always drew me to her. I loved it, her elegant, icy demeanor. I also love Kirsty's happy drunk. It reminded me of me. The upside-down Hell-Monster was cheesy-cool, unique and frightening.
If you are a horror aficionado and don't own this movie, then buy it ... it won't disappoint. A 10-Star horror flick. Enjoy!
Amazing........2007-02-01
Clive Barker's directing debut follows the tale of a couple (Andrew Robinson, Clare Higgins) who move into an old house and discovers a hideous creature (Oliver Smith) -- the man's half-brother (and his wife's former lover) -- hiding upstairs. Having lost his earthly body to three demons, the man's been brought back to life by a drop of blood on the floor. Soon, he's forcing his former mistress to bring him human sacrifices to complete his body. A complete masterpeace.

Definitely not one for the weak of stomach, Hellbound takes up where the first Hellraiser left off, piling on the gore to near camp levels. Luckily, the 1988 sequel retains enough of British horror-meister Clive Barker's macabre wit--like the original, it's based on a Barker story--to save it from the schlock-heap. Hospitalized following her last misadventure, Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) implores authorities to destroy a bloody bed at the carnage scene, but the enigmatic Dr. Channard (Kenneth Cranham) brings an addled patient there and unleashes a dread Cenobite instead. As if that's not bad enough, Kirsty's getting distress calls from her father, who begs her to rescue him from hell. When she journey through hell's dark labyrinths with a mute puzzle solver, however, Kirsty only finds the evil Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and other bizarro creatures, plus her nasty former stepmother and lascivious Uncle Frank. Much maniacal laughter and skin shedding later, the newfound compadres unlock the puzzle box again to safety. Hellbound isn't genius, but it does have flair, which goes a long way toward offsetting Laurence's leaden acting and occasionally over the top gore. --Diane Garrett
Customer Reviews:
"Trick us again, and your suffering will be legendary, even in hell.".......2007-02-11
Can you die again in hell? Play a game with the Cenobites and you will find out. Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) is now in an insane asylum after her involvement with the Cenobites in the first Hellraiser movie. There's evil afoot in the asylum, in the form of Doctor Philip Channard (Kenneth Cranham). Instead of throwing away the mattress Julia Cotton (Clare Higgins) died on, Dr. Channard brings it to his home along with a mental patient, for the sole purpose of spilling fresh blood onto it. The fresh blood brings Julia back from hell, and she's thirsty for more. "All we need now ... is skin."
Meanwhile, Kirsty is receiving messages from her father, written in blood on her walls, telling her he's trapped in hell. Together with an autistic puzzle-solver named Tiffany (Imogen Boorman) Kirsty uses the Lemarchand's Box to enter hell, trying to save her father. But Tiffany has been used by Dr. Channard, and the good doctor finds his own hell.
While the movie focuses on Kirsty, Tiffany, and Dr. Channard's trials and travails in hell, it in no sense of the way becomes boring. The doctor wins over Pinhead in sheer grotesquerie, traveling through hell from a large gooey worm attached to his head and snakes with different talents extending from his palms. Julia shines as the evil temptress she is, unveiled in her hellish realm. At the center of hell is a diamond shape oracle, emitting a hellish negative-light that is fantastically frightening. Kirsty reveals insight into Pinhead, and Pinhead faces off with the good doctor.
This second installment in the Hellraiser series is directed this time by Tony Randel rather than Clive Barker, and contains much more graphic (if that's possible) scenes of what it would be like in hell. The creation of hell in this movie is pure genius. If this movie doesn't scare you straight, nothing will. Enjoy!
Its sad that the hell raiser debut and hellbound were the only great hell raisers........2007-02-01
For Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence), the nightmares never end. Still fresh in her fevered memory of her father's skinned corpse, the evil machinations of her uncle Frank's reanimated body and the unspeakable perversity of the Cenobites. But the worst is yet to come. From beyond the Outer Darkness, from the darkest regions of the imagination comes Hellbound: Hellraiser II. Don't bother with the other hell raisers their just plain crap & boring.
My Own Personal Hell.......2006-11-06
This is the first time I delved into the HellRaiser series, and I have to admit, I kind of regret it. The film opens with a collage of disturbing images, I guess to get my attention, but there is no real reason for them to be there. From there the film falls into a freefall where it jumps from one messed up scene to the next. It all looks perfectly twisted, but who really cares. Clive Barker, as he did in "Night Breed," shows his taste for creative costumes and set designs. Of course they are all very self-indulgent, but beautiful nonetheless in their own little way. Had this film showed up at a modern art museum I would have labeled it pretentious. But since it showed up in movie theaters I have no choice but to label it crap.
I would love to describe the plot to you, but it didn't make a ton of sense to me. Kirsty (Ashley Laurence) is in a mental hospital and is convinced that her dad is calling out to her from inside hell, and thus she must go save him. Meanwhile her evil step-mom (and speaking from experience they are all evil) is reemerging from hell with the distinct disadvantage of not having any skin. Upon her return she uses her bloody pulp of a body to engage in a sexual act with another evil doer. I'm sure that gets laughs every time from the children who are watching, but to me it was silly and unnecessary. She goes on a quest for skin which goes off without a hitch, and from there a battle ensues between Kirsty and her step-mom over the soul of a little girl named Tiffany (or so everybody calls her). The whole point seems to be that our minds make up our own personal hells, and that is an idea I can get on board with. One overview shot of hell has it looking strikingly similar to an M.C. Escher print. With dead ends and trap doors and boogeymen we all travel through the labyrinth of our mind on a daily basis. But I cannot get on board with this film. It is sensational for the sake of sensationalism, which is fine with me, but not when it is mixed with a brain dead plot. What do I, or anybody for that matter, get from watching a man carve himself up with a knife? I guess that at least it is not soft like modern horror movies, but this one does not earn its gore.
For those of you who demand nothing out of your movies other than the experience of a bad dream where nothing makes sense then this is your film. For the rest of you this is failed storytelling of the highest degree. I still have "HellRaiser" on my shelf to watch and I must say it won't be hard for that one to top this mess. I may never understand why people think atmosphere is enough to create a scary movie. It is the major flaw of this film and Japanese Horror in general, but I want a story to go with my scares. What this one is selling is a chance to be grossed out of your mind or bored stiff. . .or both. I hated this movie, and no I don't care how realistic it looked when the characters were peeling the skin off of their faces. *1/2
He Did It Again! .......2006-08-25
Mr. Barker really knows how to make good horror movies. hellbound is no where near the level of Hellraiser but it is still a good move. There are two versions of the movie the R rated and the unrated. Make sure you get the unrated becasue the R cuts out alot from the movie. The unrated adds more violence to the movie. The plot is a little weak and the new cenobite is really annoying. This is a great sequel to a classic.

It IS the R-rated version!.......2007-04-22
To make it once and for all clear for all of you fans: This Paramount DVD features the R-rated cut of Hellraiser III.
Since I still own the unrated Laserdisc version (which runs exactly 97 minutes), I was pretty much able to perfectly compare this DVD to the LD. And the DVD is definitely the R-rated cut. The advertised 93 minutes for this DVD-version are correct.
A boring let down.......2007-02-01
When J.P. (Kevin Bernhardt), a playboy club owner, buys a mysterious-looking puzzle box and mistakes it for a work of art, he has no idea that Pinhead, "the Black Pope of Hell" (Doug Bradley), is trapped inside. Playing tricks on his captor's mind, Pinhead tries his best to manipulate J.P. into breaking him out of his prison -- that is, until an astute journalist (Terry Farrell) begins to suspect something.
Watching "Hellraiser III", it's obvious that the producers were trying to make a poor man's "Nightmare on Elm Street" rather than a proper continuation of the first two films. "Pinhead" spouts bad one-liners like Freddy Krueger in the lesser "Elm Street" entries; and a significant part of the premise even involves the hero having dreams about her father's death.
The result is a watered-down, unsteady film that contains only a small morsel of what made Clive Barker's first two "Hellraiser" films so interesting, substituting tired slasher film ingredients instead. A real let-down from the first two films.

After ordering my copy from Hong Kong and Canada they have finally given the US a break releasing this installment of the hellraiser series. Greatful to have a good transfer of the film I'm somewhat depressed at what I've gotten. After spending so many years in Limbo, the best we can do is a few small features?
Feature film only DVDs sell for way less today! I can't believe the price is so high. Just another DVD to hit collectors where it hurts... the pocket! Nothing to offer but the film. Although it's nice to finally have it, it's not worth the price.
It also said the film is the R rated Version. I"m not sure if this is the unrated one or not. I compared it with my Hong Kong version and I remember comparing my Hong kong with my VHS Unrated. I'm not sure if it's R or not. If it's the Rated version, that's just inappropriate! They should have at least left the option to play unrated by adding missing portions to the film and putting them in the extra features to watch seperately.
When it comes down to it, only a true obsessed collector should waste money on it. And those who released it with barely any energy into explaining what they produced should be ashamed. Hell knows, I feel ashamed for buying it. I had the same thing on two other DVDs and there's nothing that special on this one. At least Canada and Hong Kong earned their 5$

"Time to play......."!.......2006-11-22
This movie takes place in the past, present and future and is great! Interesting story, scary scenes- I liked it better than Hellraiser III. About 10 minutes got cut out of each story-past, present and future by the editors because they felt that horror fans aren't intelligent enough to follow a good, creative storyline. This movie would have been better with the scenes left in. Rent it or buy it. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
0 STARS: This is pure nonsense........2006-08-19
We got Jason in space and we get Pinhead in space. This is pure nonsense. Words of wisdom to the makers of these sequels: when you start putting horror movie villains in space to kill people, it's time to stop making these movies!!
More Gothic Horror and Pinhead too!.......2006-08-13
Bloodline has a gothic aura that the other hellraiser movies didn't really have. Also Pinhead shows up in this movie more often than any of the other movies. The plot is intricate and interesting and it goes into detail about the making of and the history of the puzzle box. There is gore and blood for all the horror fans and there is suspence and chills. Some parts of this movie has an Anne Rice feel to it and other parts remind me of the second hellraiser movie. If you are a hellraiser fan then you should buy it. If you like horror or suspense then you should at least rent it.
Pinhead in space........2006-06-24
What I don't understand is why horror fans have complained about this sequal when the ones that were released after this were even worse I mean this film is a masterpiece compared to those crappy straight to video sequals Inferno and Hellworld. The film is about the horrifying struggles of a family bloodline who created the puzzle box (thats how I got my nickname hehe) that opens the doors of hell and let the diabolical Pinhead free to wreak havok on earth and then in the 22nd century a scientist in a space station is trying to solve the puzzle and finaly wants to defeat Pinhead and the other cenobites and break the curse that his family has been suffering through. The film shows us the history and background behind the puzzle box that was created by the La Marchant family line beginning in France in the 18th century, the film also introduces a new villian the demonic Angelique which was very nice and interesting it also had a nice amount of gore including a very nasty looking decapatation and the twin cenobites that get there heads screwed on together which was also hilarious so overall the film was not that bad even though it did have some very cheesy and corny moments and some special fx looked bad and outdated I still enjoyed this film alot and I highly recommend this to hellraiser fans.
Bloodline.......2006-04-30
I know a lot of Hellraiser fans give this one a hard time.I actually liked it a lot.It told the entire story of the puzzlebox, not quite a violent as the last one,but still gory, and pinhead had plenty of good lines.Definetly one of my favs.Check out the first four in the series,DONT even waste your time with the last four, they are an insult to the series

A very credible entry in the Hellraiser series, Hellraiser: Hellseeker presents a nifty puzzle for gore fans, plus plenty of philosophical musings from the ineffable Pinhead ("Personally, I prefer pain"). A smoldering Dean Winters plays a man who survives a car accident in which his wife was apparently killed; because of a head injury, his memory is mixed up, and he can't distinguish between reality and fantasy. The borrowings from Memento are obvious, and the fragmented story pieces may not all fit together, but the mystery does become tantalizing. Within the low-budget constraints, veteran cinematographer Rick Bota (making his directing debut) keeps the atmosphere clipped and gloomy. The film also brings back Ashley Laurence, who appeared in the original installments of Clive Barker's franchise. One question: with Pinhead in the house, is visiting an acupuncturist really a good idea? --Robert Horton
Description
Pinhead is back in HELLRAISER: HELLSEEKER -- the next chilling chapter in this electrifying HELLRAISER legacy originated by frightmaster Clive Barker! When the puzzle box is once again solved, the devastating demon Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and his legion return to unleash Hell on Earth and demolish all who dare oppose them! But standing in his way is Kirsty Cotton (Ashley Laurence -- HELLRAISER I, II, III) -- the only person who has defeated Pinhead in the past -- and it's up to her to save the world from this ultimate evil! Also featuring Dean Winters (OZ, LAW & ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT) -- you don't want to miss any of the horror as Pinhead will stop at nothing to impose his ill will on eternity!

Underrated.......2007-06-25
I've never quite understood the negativity thrown at this movie and the other later Hellraiser films. I've seen all of them and this one is my third favorite Hellraiser film behind the first two. I think the main source of criticism comes from the idea that it is not a true Hellraiser film. Well, the Hellraiser series is now about variety. Seriously, who gets excited when a new just-like-the-others "Friday the 13th" movie comes out?
Well, not pure variety. If you've seen both films, it's easy to see the similarities between this film and its predecessor, "Inferno". This is little more than a remake of "Inferno", but this one is much better done. This film emphasizes psychological horror and personal torment over gore and most of the scenes are very creative and memorable. The creepiest scene for me was the one involving the video camera. The images from that scene are forever burned in my mind and many of the other scenes are close to matching its effectiveness. The entire film is genuinely scary and they even mix some nice eroticism into the mix (though little nudity). The costumes and special effects are also well-done (except for the gunshot).
Complaints? Well, some mention that the movie is kind of confusing. It can seem so at first, but all is cleared up at the end. It's not really a movie you have to rewatch to fully understand, although the movie is good enough to inspire you to rewatch it. Also, some complain about Ashley's character (the heroine from the first two films) being turned into a villian. Yeah, I was a little disappointed too, but it's nothing that killed the movie for me.
Check this one out if you're interested in a heady, scary, and unique (ignoring "Inferno") horror movie.
Gotta love the Pinster.......2006-11-27
Very good entry in the Hellraiser series. This franchise and the Freddy franchise are the two best horror series ever made, in my humble opinion. Although Pinhead could use a little sense of humor. Freddy has so much personality he could run for President and win! I'd vote for him. And I almost forgot the "Chucky" franchise, love the direction they went in, it revived the whole concept. Keep em' coming!
Continuing The Downward Spiral Of What Was Once A Good Franchise........2006-11-14
Dean Winters, doing his best impression of Ben Affleck, stars in this, the sixth installment in the constantly withering "Hellraiser" franchise. In "Hellraiser: Hellseeker," his character, Trevor Gooden is married to good ol' Kirsty Cotton, who we remember from the first three films. Trouble is, she seemingly dies in a car wreck less than ten minutes into the movie and Trevor has one massive headache trying to figure out what happened.
Let it be known that history does repeat itself. Just like "Hellraiser III: Hell On Earth" and "Hellraiser: Bloodline," this one takes the series further into shame and embarassment. It's a direct-to-video sequel, but c'mon, we expect better than this. Maybe "Hellseeker" was a good script at some point, but when they decided to throw Pinhead and Kirsty into the mix, it got lost. See, these characters serve little to no purpose in the plot. They are just gimmicks, placed within a story to draw in viewers and feed off a legendary title. This is not a "Hellraiser" movie. A healthy chunk of it just adds up to a sub-standard psychological thriller, nothing else. In fact, Pinhead and Kirsty hardly come into play until the final 15 minutes, which feel like a remake of the original movie.
I like to think I have an open mind when it comes to movies, and horror in particular. But this movie is a joke. The producers obviously masked an incomplete script to pass it off as a "Hellraiser" movie (ala "American Psycho 2") and shouldn't think for one second that we can't tell the difference. The end result is full of plot-holes, loose ends, inconsistencies, etc. etc. If you can make any sense out what you saw or if you can even call it a movie at the very end, you're a better person than me.
Are we bored yet?.......2006-05-18
Hellraiser: Hellseeker (Rick Bota, 2002)
Tell me: is there a single person who watched the climax of this movie and didn't say to him- or herself, "Pinhead wouldn't fall for that again!"? Because if there is, then I strongly suggest an intervention and some forced classes in logic (not to mention film appreciation 101).
While it's the last (to date) of the Hellraiser series that actually deals with the real mythology of the thing-- Deader seems to have been a standalone horror film that got Pinhead written in at the last minute, and Hellworld is an amusing look at obsessive fandom more than anything-- it would be a travesty to let the Hellraiser mythology get to this point, which can safely be called a nadir, and then drift off into nothingness. Hellseeker is, to be as kind as possible, a terrible, terrible movie.
Ashley Laurence reprises her role as Kirsty Cotton, here married to Trevor Gooden (Dean Winters, from TV's Rescue Me). Gooden wakes up after a car accident, remembering nothing, only to be told that Kirsty perished in the accident. (And, thus, most of Laurence's role is seen in flashbacks.) After he goes back out into the real world, however, things seem... off, a little, and both he and we start to realize that Trevor Gooden is not at all the man he remembers.
The idea for the story, and its structure, could probably have been made into something quite good; hints of cleverness are continually poking out at the ages, waiting to be worried into fullness, and yet they never are. The acting is uniformly flat, the pace is turgid at its finest moments, and the most suspense to be found is in your decision as to whether to hit pause on your DVD player when you get up to go to the bathroom. Don't bother, you're not going to miss anything if you do. * ý
Uhhhhh......this is Hellrasier? Not the Hellraiser I know........2006-05-08
Okay Horror fans, admit it. This was a horrible Hellraiser sequal. I'm an "old school" fan of the series and I personally think the only good ones in this series are part one and part two. Part three and part four are bearly just okay but they can't even compare to the first two. Anything after part four is total garbage. Hellseeker continues the trend of crappy sequals. Loaded with bad acting and pointless plot twists, Hellseeker almost becomes painful to watch. The only thing that saves this movie from being a total bomb is Pinhead himself. Watching him tear apart people on screen is always a joy to Horror fans, no matter how crappy the sequal. Sadly enough, I think there are actually three more Hellraiser movies after this one! *Sheesh!* It would be a whole other story if they actually put some time and effort into these later sequals. Oh' well, at least I can still enjoy the first two films. Anyone who hasn't seen the Hellraiser series, do not start with this one! Check out part one and two. If your still curious about Pinhead and his other "adventures", look into part three and four. Ignore anything past that unless you feel like being dissapointed.

Extremely Brilliant , Complainers for this are hypocrits!.......2007-04-18
This movie is a great horror!/Suspense!
All these people complaining about this are lame just looking for an excuse to complain!
First of all,All you so called Hellraiser fans,Pin head only appears in the first Hellraiser movie for about 5 minutes total also!So why are you complaining?
This Has an excellent plot to it,The production is nice,The acting is good,And even if this wasn't a hellraiser movie it is still a great story.
Especially for a true horror fan!!!
Falls short again.......2007-01-06
3.5 Stars. I don't think the writers/producers get this Hellraiser series. The entire idea of Hellraiser is to have Pinhead in the scenes because he is one of the scariest, most curious characters in horror. Again, he isn't shown enough. I want to see him lurking out of the darkness and showing up in flashbacks and threatening people.
The theme of the movie isn't bad: It's about a guy who can bring people back to life once they've been coaxed into killing themselves and he's been annointed by Pinhead to do this. All of these people are called "Deaders".
The strangest and most mysterious part(s) of the movie is when a journalist (Kari Wuhrer) checks all of this out and enters the subway and gets on a subway train which is a trashy hedonistic palace/chamber to get information from a fellow. The costumes and people on the subway are freaks and you can't take it all in because there's too much going on: there's sex and drugs and mutilation taking place among small groups of people.
Kari Wuhrer puts in a great performance I think, especially when she becomes one of the "deaders" and it freaks her out because she's bleeding everywhere she goes.
The climax always falls short in these Hellraiser movies for some reason. When Pinhead confronts Kari at the end she takes the box and says, "Go to Hell!" and throws the box. I still have no idea what this gesture means to Pinhead because it sends him into complete madness but it happens in every Hellraiser movie.(?) I mean all he has to do is walk over and pick it up!!! What's the big deal? My suggestion would be to end a Hellraiser movie differently by letting Pinhead torture someone physically or mentally for ten minutes or so and make the ending more complex.
Could have been much better but check it out.
Hellraiser-Deader.....Direct to Video for a reason........2006-07-08
Ever since Hellraiser:Bloodline(4) all subsequent sequels have been direct to video. Why? well Hellraiser: Inferno, Hellraiser: Hellseeker, and this installment Hellraiser:Deader have used the same premise; screw with you head. In the first 4 films it was that when you solved the puzzle box you summoned Pinhead and crew, got hook chained back into hell. With the exception of a couple delusions/hallucinations that was basically it. In #5 on it changed you opened the box and you went on this mad journey through you own psychosis, almost like a dream where your mind is manufacturing things and at the same time Pinhead and the powers of hell are supplying their own special effects. I'm not feeling all that.
In Deader we have the lovely and talented Kari Wuher playing Amy Klien reporter for a paper called the London Underground. She gets an asignment to check out the Deaders after watching Deader front man "Winter" bring some chick back to life. Taking place in Romania Klein acquires the puzzle box and solves it, sending her on her own little psychotic journey into her own personal hell. As with #5 and 6 the big mystery for Klien is figuring out what the hell is going on, is she crazy or not and why does this Winter guy possess the ability he has to bring the dead back to life......whatever! Trying to follow her mental break path to hell is a waste of time. Just let the movie unfold as it does and all--however thin will be revealed. For Fans of Pinhead, yes Doug Bradley reprises his role as the brooding darkly poetic, and articulate Cenobite. Pinheads presence in the first half of this 88 minute outing is nil. The second half has a bit more but not much.
Some of the effects in this film are I think not up to snuff, like the Cgi chains that pinhead uses. However Makeup jobs are cool, and there is a fair amount of blood being spilt. which make for some disturbing visuals, I found myself saying; "Dang, thats messed up!" a few times in this Film. Overall for a direct to video sequel, Kari Wuher does a great job, and its always good to see Pinhead warp reality and twist words. For those reasons I went from 2 to 3 stars. Bottom Line.....Stronger sequel that Both Hellraiser: Inferno, and Hellraiser: Hellseeker.
Endurable B-movie instalment in tired saga.......2006-07-02
Hellraiser: Deader is the eighth (or so) in the series kicked off by Clive Barker's cinematic magnum opus of gore: Hellraiser, which brought to eighties audiences the ultimate slasher villain: the immortal, vain and verbose Pinhead. This film, however, is far removed from the master's original vision of a pleasure-seekers' purgatory.
More importantly for fans, the series' Cenobites, grotesque, pleasure-and-pain-inflicting supernatural entities led by Pinhead, do not appear at all, except in the DVD extras, and the storyline itself was clearly intended to be a Pinhead-free affair. That is, until the Dimension straight-to-DVD department signed a cheque and made a sensible commercial decision to adapt the story for the Hellraiser canon.
I certainly am not one to be riled by capitalism and its inherent compromises, and this film unquestionably presents decent, low-grade genre fare, with an easily-digestable side of gore.
Our lead screamer, Kari Wuhrer, an exploitation-film actress who found fame on the syndicated Sliders TV show, is watchable, overcoming some dodgy dialogue and terrible costumes. Shot in Romania, no doubt for budgetary reasons, the film-makers manage to find several spooky locations and evoke a cool, wrong-side-of-the-iron-curtain creepiness throughout proceedings.
The plot is as follows: a star writer for a sleazy Fleet Street (London) tabloid begins to investigate a strange cult of young people in Bucharest, who appear to rise from the dead after having committed ritualistic suicide. Hellraising elements become merely an adjunct to our self-destructive heroine's temptation by, and ultimate victory over, these nasty young hedonists: the "Deaders".
Solid production values - considering what it is - and a moderately interesting underlying concept, see this film make the grade (just) as far as this horror fan is concerned. And, while reduced to side-show status, the Hellraiser cycle's iconic bad-guy does get to spout a few lines and chuck a few chains around, even if the lines are uninspired and the chains cheesy CGI.
Nonetheless, it really is hard to get past those shocking costumes the film-makers force our leading lady into. Beautiful as she is, Wuhrer is no teenager, and the character she is playing is portrayed as younger than she clearly is. But decking her out in boots and grunge jackets and tying her hair into goofy teen styles does not mask her age, it just looks ridiculous. And what single woman, travelling alone, wears a man's shirt (and no bra) to bed? Really, it was all highly alienating! Call me unreasonable or unfair, but I am rounding down the 2½ stars just for that.
I cannot recommend you buy the DVD, but check out your local video library for some guilty, spooky pleasures, then make a decision as to whether you want Hellraiser: Deader in you collection.
Not great........2006-06-30
I love the hellraiser series, and I can honestly say I was dissapointed in this installment. It was boring, slow, and had bad visual effects (CGI chains, what the hell is that?).
But the worst thing by far is that Pinhead was hardly in it. I dunno what's going on with the series but it seems that in every installment, we see Pinhead less and less.
The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because it doesn't even come close to the piece of garbage the INFERNO was...
Thank God for Hellworld...which isn't an amazing film, but still better then the last few sequels.

Clive Barker's Gothic ghoul Pinhead is pitted against online gamers out for kicks in Hellraiser: Hellworld, the eighth entry in the popular horror franchise. A group of young computer-game enthusiasts crack the secret of Hellworld, a virtual-reality game based on the Hellraiser mythos, and earn themselves an invite to an exclusive party at a secluded and spooky mansion. There, the host (Lance Henriksen, always a welcome sight) reveals his elaborate collection of Hellraiser-related artifacts, as well as a hidden agenda regarding one of the gamers' friends, who died under sinister circumstances. Naturally, this fresh assortment of attractive young souls with an insatiable curiosity for the forbidden summons up Pinhead (Doug Bradley, natch) and his Cenobite friends to unleash their own brand of hell on Earth. Hellraiser devotees won't find any fresh ideas in the script, but veteran cinematographer Rick Bota (who helmed the two previous films in the franchise) provides attractive visuals, and the gore is plentiful and unpleasant. --Paul Gaita

WHAT?.......2007-04-13
BOUGHT THIS FOR A FAN, I THINK IT SUCKS AND HAS NO REDEEMING QUALITIES. GET A DISNEY FLICK INSTEAD.
This one doesn't belong in the franchise.......2007-04-09
For whatever it's worth, I am a big fan of the series. And if this film wasn't associated with the franchise, then the review would be gauged differently. Unfortunately, this film simply does not belong under the same title. It is simply a low-budget generic horror flick which borrows the name HELLRAISER, but does not merit further comparison. This film is a big disappointment on several levels. Most notably, it has very little to do with the Hellraiser story, and even Pinhead has a small role, his limited presence relegated to an explanation too stupid and lame to indulge, though I won't spoil the plot for those still curious. Secondly, the draw of the storyline was a website/web-based VR game called Hellworld, which draws in the players to their own doom. I like the premise of a website or video game with supernatural overtones, and even will get a look at movies which turn out not to be so good. Again, the premise of Hellworld will prove to be a considerable disappointment.
Like I said, this would have been a middling, unimpressive though tolerable film if it had just been of a nondescript generic origin. Since it tries to milk the HELLRAISER franchise for audience, then it also has a standard it should and will be held to, and should be judged accordingly (2 stars instead of 3). So instead of spoiling the movie, I will give my opinion in hopes of preventing your waste of time & money.
You know what? Forget that. You seem like nice people so I will do you a favor (if you are interested) WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD...
... Hellworld is fake (just a rumor started), and Pinhead is a hallucination triggered by a drug. Also, the main male lead is a incessantly whiny, mopey, and irritating douche who we were hoping would get offed, but instead he survives and ends up with the hot female lead. 1 star instead of 2.
It is a shame that Lance Heinrickson is becoming the icon for movies that made one too many sequels (HELLRAISER, PUMPKINHEAD, PREDATOR, ALIEN). It does not bode well that Kari Wuhrer, lovely though she is, is now the icon for movies whose sequels come to an inglorious end (PROPHECY), and who is starring in the latest/last HELLRAISER installment (HELLRASIER: DEADER). Though good judgment tells me to avoid that one also, like the puzzle box it allows our intrigue and curiosity to draws us into an unpleasant situation.
Somewhat scary.......2007-01-11
3.5 stars. This movie is put together extremely well cinematically. (It should be. After all the Hellraiser films are all being made in Romania now so the payroll is cheap.) The story's pretty decent and takes place in this real cool, large scary house. The owner of the house is holding a "Hellworld" party. There are really some scary moments which surprised me (because the series has been going downhill for a few years now). Pinhead shows up more than he has in the last few films but he quite doesn't make any type of point when he confronts anyone. He needs to be more complex with his words and needs to scare the crap out of the people he's about to seize. He needs to give the others something to really wrap their heads around. He really doesn't tell these people why he's killing them. And there's only a few bizarre torture devices. There needs to be more. The ending is the most disappointing. Pinhead should appear at the ending which he does for a minute or two and he should really be agitated and sum everything up with riddles and metaphors and really put people through hell but the end just kind of fizzles and you're left with really no overtones from Pinhead. Overall, a good movie to watch. Plus there's a lot of nudity and sex.
What The Hell?.......2006-08-26
This movie is an utted disgrace to all horror movies and especially Hellraiser, the plot sucked, the actors and the acting sucked and worst of all Pinhead was only in the movie for a whole 5 minutes. They should this crappy movie in the garbage, get rid of all the a**holes who were in this movie and start over with Clive Barker making the movies. As soon as Clive left the movies really started to suck. Please next Hellraiser movie make sure Clive Barker is directing it and Peter atkins is writing the script cuz these people just plain out suck!
Pinhead should consider retirement.......2006-07-07
The Pinhead we all love is back in the 8th installment of the Hellraiser movies called Hellraiser: Hellworld. This time a group of kids are invited to a Hellworld party full of partying, drinking, dancing and all out fun but their fun soon turns out for the worst as one by one they start to die. Lance Henriksen (Hard Target, Near Dark) plays The Host of the party. Doug Bradley (Hellraiser 1 & 2) is still going strong as Pinhead but he's the only thing good in this movie. Henriksen should stop doing this kind of stuff. Katheryn Winnick (Failure To Launch, 50 First Dates) plays the screaming girl this time but she's laughably bad here and her screaming is annoying. She either needs lessons or it was the script. Also starring Henry Cavilll (Tristan & Isolde, Laguna), Christopher Jacot (Degrassi, Get Over It) and Khary Payton. Another forgettable horror sequel

This is the first Hellraiser sequel that doesn't bear the imprimatur of creator Clive Barker, and that makes it a sequel that many Hellraiser fans will want to disown, but they shouldn't dismiss it altogether. Now under the control of Miramax producers Bob and Harvey Weinstein, the franchise takes an entirely new direction, and Inferno is primarily a detective thriller in which a corrupt cop (Craig Sheffer) takes on a case that will judge his soul and, ultimately, damn him forever. His judge and jury will be Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and his legion of twisted Cenobites, but before he can be tried and condemned, Sheffer's cop will watch as those around him are killed off one by one, leaving a trail of blood (and telltale severed fingers) that leads back to the torment of his own youth.
So, what you really have here is a variation on It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol, with all the themes reversed to hellish extremes. The plot doesn't hold together all that well, but you can't fault the film for establishing and maintaining a heavily somber tone. This is pretty dark stuff, after all, and although Hellraiser fans will lament that Pinhead's appearance is relatively brief, he's presented here in an intriguing new light--not merely an icon of pain and suffering, but a giver of counsel and justice to those (like Sheffer's cop) who arguably deserve the eternal anguish they will receive. Does that make Pinhead a good guy? If this otherwise lugubrious sequel achieves anything, it's that it raises that question and lets the viewer decide. --Jeff Shannon

It is desent.......2007-02-04
Hellraiser: Inferno is probably the best of the far too many films to follow the orginal two classics, Hellraiser and Hellbound.
I do not think Inferno is great and I do not think it compares at all to the 1st two films, but is superior to the pointless gore fests of Hell On Earth and Bloodline and the laughable parts of the series in 6, 7, and 8.
Inferno returns to the orginal idea of the 1st two films in that it revolves around how solving the box brings both mental and physical suffering to the individual who opens it.
Inferno focuses more on the mental aspect and perhaps shows more in depth the hell Frank went through in the orginal film through the eyes of Joe Thorne.
When it comes to Pinhead, I think less is more. I feel that he was far overexposed in parts 3 and 4 and it limited his effectiveness when he did appear. Though his overall appearence in Inferno is brief, it is powerful nonetheless.
Unlike most of the Hellraiser sequals, Inferno actually has good acting and a decent plot with some substance.
Though I doubt anyone will be blown away by Inferno, it is definatly worth seeing once.
Hell raiser inferno sucked and still sucks.......2007-02-01
After solving a creepy puzzle, unscrupulous Det. Joseph Thorne (Craig Sheffer) finds himself trapped in hell with the hair-raising ghoul Pinhead (Doug Bradley) and a murderer at large. Thorne tries to outwit Pinhead and discover the killer's identity in an effort to escape, but the trail keeps leading back to one man: Thorne. As his transgressions begin to torment him, Thorne learns the real meaning of the word .Hellraiser and Hellraiser 2 apparently jaded me. I really didn't enjoy this movie. Although the plot itself was a decent one (though a bit slow moving at times), the acting was terrible, the special effects left plenty to be desired, and it just wasn't a Hellraiser movie, at least to me. I might have at least not hated this movie if I had no expectations. However, when I rent a Hellraiser movie, I expect Cenobites and Pinhead. I expect good dialogue and a creepy factor of 10.
I don't expect crappy acting, moralistic dialogue, and, of all things, NARRATION. Hellraiser movies are supposed to make you creep out and think a bit. If the movies make you think about the dualistic nature of humanity, that's great, but I don't want first person narration expounding on it.
I don't know which was worse -- Hellraiser 4 or this one. This movie bares so little resemblance to the original that it shouldn't even have the title. Do yourself a favor and re-rent the first or second of the series. Or better yet, read the novela they're based on.Do yourself a favor and pass this disgrace.
No hell left to raise.......2006-10-24
After Hellraiser 1 and 2, the series became increasing boring, pointless and without meaning. I couldn't wait for this episode to end. Another hellraising piece of boring garbage. Guys, give it a rest and Clive, please DON'T remake Hellraiser 1. Don't do it. Just walk away. It's already been trashed and drained of meaning 6 times or is it 7?
i like it, most people don't, but i do.......2006-09-20
Hellraiser: inferno is one one those special horror flicks, this is one of the hellraiser sequels that fans often put down, this one along with hellseeker are considered the dead sequels, meaning all of the fun of the original films is gone, i disagree, i thought hellseeker definately needed some things to make it better, even though the great ashley laurence from the original made a comeback, that film didn't serve the series well, and the same is often said for this film, but there is a very unique feeling about this film that i think completely sets it apart from the rest, people complain often that pinhead isn't in this film enough, i love pinhead but quite frankly they have already done enough about him with hellraiser 3, i think pinhead's impact on this film is so much greater with his short cameo than it was in any hellraiser movie since the original, and the fact that he was even performed breifly by james remar made even cooler in my opinion, this one has something to it that i like specifically in light of the entire series, i guess i see this film from a different perspective, but all i have to say is it deserves a chance.
LMAO!!!!!.......2006-05-19
This is the funniest film i have seen in ages, and i owe all the comedy to the last bit where the detective is ripped apart by the chains barely holding the tip of his skin, I laughed so hard at that, and it's the only bit i watch now, in all the horror films i have seen, this is probably one of the worst, but that bit alone makes this a 5 star.

"I...AM...PAIN".......2004-06-20
The Hellraiser franchise holds a special place in my heart. I will never forget the first time I saw the opening chapter in the series of films inspired by Clive Barker's nightmarish visions. Watching the original "Hellraiser" now is a mixed bag-some of those special effects look a bit hokey, but others still come across as chillingly effective. Who can forget the glistening visage of Uncle Frank? The lascivious Julia? Or the first appearance of the ominous and verbose Pinhead? The second installment improved on the first, as the film whisked the viewer away to the abode of Pinhead and the Cenobites. A gruesome, perverse picture, "Hellbound: Hellraiser 2" raised the expectations about future entries to a fever pitch. Up next came "Hellraiser 3," a personal favorite of mine even though legions of fans have subsequently disowned it. The series moved into the latter stages of its life from this point forward, taking bold steps in an attempt to expand far beyond what viewers had come to expect. The series continues today with at least two further sequels in the works. Will they find an audience or will the new arrivals fall flat on their faces? Fans will probably grumble even as they queue up to watch.
"Hellraiser: Bloodline" took the risky step of moving the storyline into space, a cringe inducing idea at first until you actually watch the movie. Who can forget the nightmare that was "Leprechaun 4"? Fortunately, only certain segments take place on a spaceship. The majority of the film heads back to the past to explain the origins of the Lament Configuration, that dreaded box which hundreds of seekers have opened only to find the Cenobites waiting for them. Dr. Paul Merchant (Bruce Ramsey) locked himself away on the spaceship because he wants to destroy this infernal device once and for all. A group of marines arrives on the ship to take the "mad" doctor into custody. During his detainment he tells a dark story about his family's history, about how his ancestor Phillipe Merchant designed the box in the eighteenth century for a decadent French nobleman who wished to plumb the dark depths. The box does its job, horribly so, conjuring up a demon named Angelique (Valentina Vargas) who promptly carves up people left and right. Unfortunately for Merchant, the box somehow curses his bloodline. Every one of his descendants will suffer because of the Lament Configuration. Watch the hijinks unfold!
"Inferno" is a cracking good tale about a cop, Detective Joseph Thorne (Craig Sheffer), and his descent into madness. While investigating a horrendous crime scene at the house of a man Thorne knew in high school, the cop discovers the Lament Configuration and wonders what it is. He also finds a finger left behind by someone called the Engineer. Then we learn more about Joseph. Although married to a beautiful woman who bore him a delightful child, Thorne spends most of his time away from the house shaking down criminals, using narcotics, and taking free favors from women of the night. His partner Tony Nenonen (Nicholas Turturro) has no idea what his partner is up to, which suits Thorne just fine. In fact, no one knows what this corrupt cop is doing except the people he leans on for personal gain when he should bring them up on charges. When Thorne heads to a local hotel with a woman who is not his wife, he inadvertently opens the box. What follows is at times confusing and gory, but it is easy to forget one simple thing in the unfolding madness: Thorne did open the Lament Configuration. Again, remember that Thorne DID open the Lament Configuration. Keeping this fact in the forefront of your memory will help you follow the story.
"Hellraiser: Bloodline" is an uneven film anyway you slice it. Director Kevin Yagher withdrew from the production after his studio heavily interfered in the project. Thus, the film carries the dreaded "Alan Smithee" label, a moniker all too familiar to moviegoers in the know. The result of this turmoil behind the scenes set the movie adrift, so someone decided to just slap the whole thing together and dump the final result in the video stores. That's a real shame as "Bloodlines" has at its center an interesting premise for fans of the series: how the box came about and how it was first used to conjure up evil. With "Inferno," certain fans continue to lament the decline of the series. Barker was long gone by the time "Inferno" hit video store shelves, but that doesn't mean we can't find something to like here. Sure, the movie confuses until you hear Pinhead wax on the morality of man as he shows Thorne just what his destiny has become. But the new Cenobites were appropriately grotesque, the special effects looked good, and even the acting is an improvement over many movies in the series. Can any viewer convince himself or herself for a second that most of the performances in the first two films were anything other than complete drivel? Heck no! I've seen better acting in a kindergarten play than I did in the first few films. Here, Sheffer does an acceptable turn as the corrupt Joseph, as does Turturro in the role of concerned partner Nenonen. Doug Bradley is as fantastic as ever as Pinhead even though the script dramatically reduced his role to a walk on part.
"Bloodline" and "Inferno" are good additions to your DVD collection. As for the extras on the discs, "Bloodline" contains a trailer for "Children of the Corn 666" and not much else. "Inferno" has more extras, including a short special effects video about the Lament Configuration and an interview with Doug Bradley. Ultimately, I thought "Inferno" vastly superior to its predecessor, but both films entertain adequately enough. Give 'em a chance.
Awesome set.......2003-11-17
Set contains two great sequals to HEllraiser: Bloodline and Inferno, a great deal for two great sequals, don't miss this one people!
THE GOOD AND THE VERY, VERY BAD.......2002-09-16
Do not make the mistake that this package is a special edition of any kind - it is not, just the 2 seperate films shrinkwrapped together but at a very reasonable price. BLOODLINES watched first reminds any fan just how bad the series can be and not just due to editing (or butchering depending on your point of view!). That this film in a way ends the Hellraiser mythos you would at least hope they could go out in style. You'd be wrong - a dull rushed ending ruins what should and could have been an epic confrontation and what we're left with is a feeling of seen it all before (Aliens anyone?). The final scene for one major character is totally pathetic but to reveal more would ruin it for those of you who HAVE to see this just because you love Hellraiser. To sum up a film strangely lacking in gore with a plot that reeks of made for television. In fact I cannot think of a film I'd rather not see at the cinema. You may be wondering why I gave this package 3 stars but thats mainly down to INFERNO - a superb movie and even more so when compared to the film its twinned with. Craig Sheffer plays the anti hero to perfection and even with so many dark traits is still a character you can't help but like. Many have complained that this movie has little to do with Hellraiser and yes, Pinhead isn't in it much but to be honest it is a better movie for that fact. Hellraiser 2 and 3 were ruined by overusing the character and a step back was needed otherwise we'd have another comedy villian on our hands a la krueger, Myers etc. This film is easily the best since the first if not better in some ways and unlike the other movies this one does not end happily or leave itself open to a sequel. And yet the poetic finale is beautifully done and I couldn't shake the feeling that for once a Hellraiser sequel could be consistently good throughout the course of the movie. So one very bad movie and one exceptionally good one - lets just hope they hit the ground running with HELLRAISER - HELLSEEKER and try for another INFERNO not another BLOODLINES.
A GOOD DEAL.......2002-07-16
this is a great bargain if you need the two movies to complete your collection. there is only one bad point though, they only come shrinkwrapped together. shame they dont come in a slipcase or something. anyway, these are the two least popular of the Hellraiser movies, but even so, they are still well made and most entertaining
they are both my favourites :O)
