No one tries very hard in Big Momma's House, so your enjoyment of this Martin Lawrence vehicle pretty much depends on how much amusement you're able to derive from a guy dressed up as a very ample woman. The setup is of the eye-rolling, only-in-Hollywood nature: Lawrence, as detective Malcolm Turner, is after a killer, and apparently the only way to capture him is to pose as the bad guy's ex-girlfriend's grandmother, who--the film cannot stress this point too much--is quite large.
Apparently, Sherry (Nia Long), the young woman in question--she's as attractive as Big Momma is, well, you know--is none too bright, for she falls for Malcolm's ruse, which of course ostensibly amuses mainly because it's so transparent. She at least has an excuse--she hasn't seen Big Momma in two years--but Big Momma's oblivious friends must be functional morons. Screenwriters Darryl Quarles and Don Rhymer didn't tax themselves very much, as they have Malcolm-as-Big-Momma going through fairly predictable motions--botching a meal and delivering a baby unconventionally (Big Momma's a midwife), but ruling at basketball and self- defense and protecting Sherry while trying vainly not to flirt with her. Paul Giamatti is wasted as Malcolm's partner; director Raja Gosnell's clunky sense of comic rhythm is bewildering, because he used to be an editor (he brought a similar lack of magic to Home Alone 3).
Lawrence won't have anyone forgetting Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon in Some Like It Hot, Dustin Hoffman in Tootsie, or Robin Williams in Mrs. Doubtfire anytime soon. Big Momma's House benefits mainly by being first to the marketplace ahead of Eddie Murphy's The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps; Murphy's work in prosthetics is far more accomplished, versatile, and funny. --David Kronke
Description
Disguise is the limit. "Martin Lawrence brings down the house" (E! Online) as crafty FBI agent Malcolm Turner who's willing to go through thick and thin in order to catch an escaped prisoner. "Nia Long is captivating" (Checkout.com) as Sherry, the con's sexy former flame - she might have the skinny on millions in stolen loot, and she's headed for Georgia to lay low for a while. That's enough to send Malcolm deep undercover as Big Momma, an oversized, overbearing Southern granny with an attitude as tough as her pork chops. The result is an outrageous comedy of epic proportions, filled with nonstop laughs and plenty of action!
Customer Reviews:
GREAT VIEWING.......2007-05-26
This is just down my street hilarious and great family viewing. highly recommended. Loved every minute.
family watch.......2007-01-28
This is a great film for kids and big kids! Its just simple humour but had me in stitches more than once, good characters and story. Good family viewing.
Big Momma Doubtfire!.......2006-11-13
Big Momma's House is far more entertaining than some of the reviews would indicate. Yes, the plot is almost impossible: an FBI agent who is forced to disguise himself as a very large grandmother, in order to track down an escaped killer.
But the film has so many enjoyable scenes. Who can forget lovely Sherry (Nia Long), asking if Big Momma (Martin Lawrence) has another flashlight? The makeup and body padding make Martin Lawrence an awesomely agile grandmother. His basketball back-dunk is something we would all love to see grandmothers be able to do. It's kind of like when we wish we had super powers.
I can't spoil it for you, because there are just so many memorable scenes: like detective Malcolm caught in a tree branch as he slowly sags out of his "granny suit." Or when he somersaults, breaking through the front window, shyly commenting, "I forgot my keys." Or when the reverend (Cedric the Entertainer) discourages Big Momma from talking too much about what happened in the back of an El Camino.
OK--it's kind of kitsch--but it's a whole lot of fun. It will not be considered the greatest movie of the twentyfirst century, but it is an escapist romantic comedy and lots of fun. If you liked films like Mrs. Doubtfire, you'll really like this. Relax and enjoy it.
Not a bad diversion. . . ........2006-09-04
I'm not usually a fan of movies in this genre, but Big Momma's House is not as bad a diversion as some might have you believe. If you've ever witnessed someone doing or saying something so stupid, low and crass that you had to laugh in spite of yourself, then this movie fits the bill. One of the strongest draws of this movie is its unusually strong cast of talented actors, who make the most out of what they are given. Like most comedies in this vein, you have to suspend your disbelief much of the time: the plot of this situational comedy is highly improbable, but sometimes quite funny. Martin Lawrence won't make you forget Eddie Murphy's star turn in the First "Nutty Professor" remake, but he does have some surprisingly amusing moments impersonating "Big Momma" while in pursuit of a criminal who is on the lam. Nia Long, his love interest, is as cool and ravishing as ever. Ella Mitchell gamely plays the real Big Momma and, best of all, Anthony Anderson is uproariously funny as a bumbling security guard who moonlights giving self-defense classes to elderly women in the neighborhood community center. As most reviewers here have indicated, "Big Momma's House" is definitely not worth agonizing about. It's the film equivalent of pleasantly disposable junk food. It could have been much worse.
Good, but not as good as it could have been with some radical revisions.......2006-08-25
The biggest problem with Big Momma's house is that you can often see just how funny it should be, but the cast and crew are not able to sustain the occasional hilarious parts with any consistency.
It doesn't seem to help that Big Momma's House wants to be more than a comedy. Writers Darryl Quarles and Don Rhymer shoot for a combination of a crime comedy ala Beverly Hills Cop (1984) and a romantic comedy. But the core comedy is absurdist, while the mostly serious crime stuff is so underwritten that it would be better absent, and the somewhat serious rom-com stuff is so generic and predictable that it has all the surprise of attending Mass.
To me, the comedy being absurdist is a plus, but it doesn't mesh well with other modes. It's ridiculous, of course, that Malcolm Turner (Martin Lawrence) is trying to pass himself off as "Big Momma" Hattie Mae Pierce (Ella Mitchell). That's a large part of what makes it funny. However, director Raja Gosnell's decision to play the rest of the cast as mostly deadpan is a strange one. It leads the viewer to take the film in a more realist mode, but if you're doing that, you keep asking yourself why anyone else would believe that Turner is actually Big Momma. Gosnell should have gone for another approach during the Turner as Big Momma scenes. It's not that they're never funny, but too often the deadpan interaction breaks the humor.
However, the deadpan attitude works wonders when Mitchell is Big Momma. Mitchell is a fantastic here as a comic actress and especially Paul Giamatti as John is hilarious interacting with her. Once those too-brief scenes ended, I was wishing they wouldn't have, and when they reappeared again at the end, it made me more fully realize how much better they were. A whole film could have and should have been written around Mitchell as Big Momma with Giamatti and Lawrence interacting with her and beautiful co-star Nia Long via some other story.
Even with these problems, Big Momma is an enjoyable film. My wife enjoyed it even more than I did, we're looking forward to watching Big Momma's House 2, and we'll certainly watch this again in the future. But it's a case of moments of brilliance poking through so that you see just how much better it could have been.

Product Description
A handsome, successful fashion photographer (Melvil Poupaud) learns that he has a malignant brain tumor that will soon kill him. Hiding his diagnosis, he alienates his family and his young boyfriend, but during a short stay with his grandmother (Jeanne Moreau), his vulnerability is met with a big heart and sound advice. A chance encounter with a roadside cafe waitress (Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi) results in an unusual bargain that provides a happy, playful dimension to the proceedings. Director Francois Ozon (Swimming Pool, 8 Women) has made a film that is at once ironically funny and emotionally gripping. TIME TO LEAVE was a selection in the Cannes Film Festival and the Toronto Film Festival, 2005.
Customer Reviews:
not one of the best movies on dying.......2007-06-25
I just didn't see what was so great about this movie. The description made it looked like it would be a wonderful tearjerker of a movie. Instead, I found myself impatient for the end.
Romain is a young gay fashion photographer, who likes to score coke on the side. When he blacks out on the job, he is told, by his doctor, that he has an inoperable brain tumor. In addition, chemotherapy wouldn't do much help and he has little time left.
So, Romain rejects any form of treatment. He decides to alienate himself from his boyfriend and family. He breaks up with his boyfriend. Of course, one can understand that he is trying to spare his boyfriend the grief and pain of his pending death. Despite his parents' plea to be nice, he insults his sensitive sister. Regardless of everything, he doesn't tell anyone about his health. He only tells one person: his grandmother. He only tells her because she would die soon.
After that, the movie pretty much lost my attention. Even when he was asked to impregnate a woman since her husband was sterile. His dying scene wasn't touching at all. You wanna cry hard about someone one dying at the beach? Then, go rent *Beaches*.
A Study in Aloneness and Despair..............yet............2007-02-19
Ah, Francois........Francois............if your intent was to give us a heart shatteringly sad tale, you've succeeded only too well. Yet, in the end, you have also given us---in Valeria Bruni Tedeschi's character of Jany---a glimpse of Romain's redemption.
The Final Scene: Romain has withdrawn from the world......we then see a 'sun-setting' world withdraw from him (yes, you do actually see that........the symbolism is heart wrenching).
Letting you in on a little secret, after viewing this film one has only to look again at the cover of the DVD.......to unerringly 'know' how Romain's life truly ends / begins. All becomes clear.
PS--Obviously I strongly disagree with preceding viewers who, principally, can find only the negative in Romain. He is (was), after all, only too human.
****
Death in France.......2007-01-04
"Time to Leave" is Francois Ozon's version of a melodrama/tearjerker in the same vein as the Bette Davis films of the 30's and 40's particularly "Dark Victory." His take on the musical, "8 Women" is weird, stylish, over-the-top but ultimately successful. "Swimming Pool" is a sexual thriller with style to burn and features a nude scene by Charlotte Rampling: all glorious 60 years of her.
Ozon's central character Romain (Melvil Poupaud) is selfish and pouty and the fact that he is dying from cancer does not make him less so. After learning that he will die soon, Romain tells no one, proceeds to thoughtlessly dismiss his lover, brutally insult his sister at a family gathering and generally act as thoughtless as one who is dying has a right to. It can go either way, can't it? Facing imminent death do you let loose with a fury of invective and self-loathing or do you forget the past and attempt to make amends for a life not particularly well lived. For the most part, Romain chooses the former until he seeks out his grandmother (the still radiant Jean Moreau who adds much needed humanity and thoughtfulness here): his shield dissolves and he looks for and receives warmth and love. When Grams asks him why he has chosen to tell her about his impending death, he says "It's because you are also so close to death...you will understand." Weak, self-centered, passive-aggressive hogwash.
Though Melvil Poupaud does a good job as Romain and Ozon structures and stages his inevitable death as if Romain is Manon in "Manon Lescaut," Romain remains an unabashed anti-hero: one whose first concern is himself and though a subplot involves Romain valiantly donating his sperm to a childless couple...one that you can't help but despise yet nonetheless grudgingly admire for his single-minded rage against an inevitable death without letting go of his basic, though loathsome nature.
"I'm afraid it's bad news.".......2006-12-07
In "Time to Leave" 31-year-old gay fashion photographer Romain (Melvil Poupaud) is diagnosed with inoperable cancer. Chemotherapy offers only a slim hope, and so he rejects treatment. Instead of telling the people in his life that he only has a short time to live, Romain chooses to withdraw and disconnect. Romain fights with his lover, Sasha (Christian Segewald), and even has one last fight with his sister, Sophie (Louise-Anne Hippeau). Instead of turning to his family for love and sympathy, he finds it easier to retreat.
In the precious little time Romain has left, he decides to visit his beloved grandmother Laura (Jeanne Moreau)--a woman with whom he has much in common. He confides in her about his impending death, because, as he bluntly admits, she's going to die soon too. As his body steadily deteriorates, Romain has a few interesting encounters--including a waitress Jany (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi). While Romain readily admits that he's not a "nice person" in these final days he accepts his fate and stops punishing those people who love him or try to reach out to him.
"Time to Leave" could so easily have become an impossibly depressing or even sentimental film, but director Francois Ozon deftly avoids those typical pitfalls, while skillfully crafting a delicately, restrained film that manages to deal with Romain's rage, resentment and anger, and final gentle acceptance of death. The subject matter is helped by the fact that Romain isn't particularly likeable. Romain's final redemption--which comes courtesy of a strange offer made by Jany is tremendously bothersome, however, for several reasons. Unfortunately, no details can be given as this would spoil the film for those yet to watch it. Suffice to say, this aspect of the story weakened the film overall. In French with English subtitles--displacedhuman
The Poetics of Dying.......2006-12-01
François Ozon (Water Drops on Burning Rocks, 8 Women, Swimming Pool, 5X2) is one of the most fascinatingly talented French directors on the scene today. His films have a simplicity, a direct approach to the mind and the heart, and an extreme respect for both his actors and his audience - factors that allow him a means for communication that is rare and proves he has few equals. In LE TEMPS QUI RESTE (Time to Leave) he addresses that earth-shattering moment of being informed that death is imminent and shows us how one character copes with that information and how it changes his remaining days and his history of relating to others.
Romain (Melvil Poupaud) is a handsome and successful fashion photographer who is gay, has a lover Sasha (Christian Sengewald), but is somewhat estranged from his family. For some reason he cannot relate to his pregnant sister Sophie (Louise-Anne Hippeau) despite his mother's (Marie Rivière) pleading and his father's (Daniel Duval) distance. During a fashion shoot Romain faints, is taken to the doctor (Henri de Lorme) who informs him he has metastatic cancer for which there is little hope (except for chemotherapy and radiation therapy) that he will live past a few months. Romain opts to go without treatment and begins to face his remaining life with silent gloom. After a very sensuous sexual encounter with Sasha (Ozon holds nothing back in depicting this!), Romain decides to quit his job, tells Sasha to leave, separates from his family, and visits his beloved grandmother Laura (Jeanne Moreau, as exciting an actress as ever!) who shares her philosophy of living and dying and bonds even more closely with the grandson who mirrors her own life. Her sage wisdom is what grounds Romain.
Romain, alone, travels about France, meets a sweet couple in a cafe - Jany (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) and her husband Bruno (Walter Pagano) who are unable to have children - and after consideration Romain consents to comply with their request to impregnate Jany but only if Bruno is part of a ménage a trois in the process. The couple discovers Romain is dying after Jany becomes pregnant and Romain for the first time is able to show tenderness in his relationship with them. Somewhat changed in outlook Romain returns home, has a tender talk with his father who accepts his son's sexuality, attempts a reconciliation with Sasha unsuccessfully, and even responds to a letter from Sophie. His missions completed he travels to the ocean where the film ends in one of the most beautifully subtle, tender and genuinely realistic ways.
In every way this film is satisfying. The actors are to the person excellent with Melvil Poupaud, Jeanne Moreau and Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi particularly outstanding. But the kudos go to writer/director Ozon who once again proves that his enthusiasm for his field of art is boundless. He is one of the more important figures in cinema today. A brilliant, quiet, immensely satisfying film. Grady Harp, November 06

heartwarming.......2007-02-08
It was a pleasant surprise to watch. The acting was easy & casual and the scenery took me back to my childhood days in Vermont.
The storyline was simple and direct..
Sit back with some popcorn and just relax..
was my copy a bootleg?.......2007-02-02
Got this on dvd and the first copy skipped froze and was just unwatchable. The new copy was pixelated and very cheap looking with fuzzy outlines when the characters would move about. Yet the case looks real.
Are there 2 versions out there? My case had only one disc, yet I see Amazon says there are 2 discs. someone help me out? I want to see this movie but can't bear to watch the distracting bad? copy that I have,
Help!
anyone?
A Touchstone..........2007-01-30
Just finished watching this movie and it put me in a very reflective mood. I actually watched it because I saw that Louise Fletcher was in it, and have always thought that she is an exquisite actress. She brings a very sublime quality to every role I've ever seen her in that not many actresses can, even if they are small parts. I also read two reviews wherein the reviewer[s] wondered if this was a 'chick flick' - I didn't view it as that type of movie at all.
I would also have to agree with the one negative review I saw here that perhaps the acting chops were not first rate. The performances by Lisa Brenner and Sherri Saum were perhaps not as stong as they could have been, but they were not that bad either. The performances by Genevieve Bujold and Louise Fletcher were excellent.
Besides, the scenery and the slow unfolding of the story through flashbacks was like the waves from the beach washing over you - it more than made up for less than stellar performances.
And the final narration at the end of the film: "Life always comes full circle and love is the ultimate forgiveness" will stay with me for a long time.
Give this film a shot - I believe it will stay with you too.
Diamond in the Ruff.......2006-07-07
I am writing this review from a culture that experiences more emotional extremes (between love and hate) than any other place in the world, Jerusalem. I found myself looking for a movie to watch this morning that could return me back to the safety and security I know in America, if just for a couple hours, when I ran across this one.
"Finding home" is a great wake-up call for what's really important in life. The acting is great, the setting is heart-warming, and the story line flows in perfect sequence from one scene to the next. It is also a mixture of the good and bad we experience in life and that also exists in each one of us. I wouldn't call it a chick-flick but you should get out of your head and into your heart if you want to get the most out of it. The challenges experienced in the lives of the characters portray a response that demonstrates the way we should all live our lives. Of course forgiveness is the is the main theme but there are other lessons to be learned as well; the importance of ones legacy through family, material insignificance, restraint from judgement of others, patience, kindness, even the importance of education if you look a little deeper. It is full of the subtle insights into life that can make or break our search for happiness and fulfillment.
I will certainly pass this film on to both friends and family members and I only wish it had subtitles in both Arabic and Hebrew so I could pass it on to non-English speakers here. I agree with the other reviewer that "It is a shame this film never got the promotion that it could have" and hence never made it into the public eye. I had to come to Israel to discover it and never heard of it before. At the end of the day I have to say it is truly a "Diamond in the Ruff".
SLOW BEGINNING, LOTS OF TWISTS, ENDS UP 4+ STARS.......2006-05-30
Hi. If you are reading this review, then you probably already have found this "sleeper" and are looking to own to dvd - that's what happened to me. Having watched it through twice in the past twelve hours - once alone and once with my wife (and yes, she cried near the ending), this film goes well beyond being another "chick flick." The social themes are there, but underlying them I found a powerful uindercurrent of a theme - forgiveness and reconciliation. In the end, I found that THAT was the ultimate theme (and hope) of the film.
One of the aspects of the film I find interesting is the author's use of names. For example Amanda (lovable) and David (beloved) end up being the two protagnists in the film. Grace (which means grace), one of the antagonists is ironically anything but grace-filled but rather has a bitter quality to her life and personality. The other antagonist in the film, Nick (victory of the people), attempts to sow his seed upon anything that moves as he drowns in his self-glorifying ego.
Overall, once said and done this film is powerful and worthy of being in one's dvd collection. It is a shame this film never got the promotion that it could have - society would be a better place if we'd begin to live out the movie's theme.

This is my kind of thriller.......2005-08-02
This is a great thriller to me it gave a lot to think about. The actors do a very good job getting you to fell something good & bad.I must of spent to much time on what the secrets were for I missed how bad this and that was.I seen more in this film than most.
A rare movie, OK movie .......2005-05-23
I found this movie at a garage sale and thought how cool to find this movie since it isn't available at any video stores around this town and I watched it and thought it was an alright little sleeper with some good scenes(the highlight would be the scene when the boy is in the basement and sees his grandfather putting a dead body on the table and then the boy accidentally drops a can of peaches and his grandpa sees him and the grandpa stabs him). The story begins with a boy and his older sister living with their grandparents after both of their parents were killed and then the boy discovers that his grandparents aren't as normal as they seem. This movie was well-produced and instead of blood and guts, the scenes aren't scary just eerie with the atmosphere of the house perfectly making the movie spoooky. This movie is kinda like Bob Balaban's "Parents" without the cannibalism or the 50s themed period. This movie is rare and hard to find but if you find it you should rent or buy it. The cast is basically unknowns with two familiar faces like Len Lesser(Uncle Leo from Seinfeld) and Brinke Stevens.
This movie is kinda like a goosebumps episode but not a childrens episode. Not rated but there are scenes with mild violence so the rating would qualify as a PG-13 or a thriller not a slasher movie as some might have thought.
A not-so-scary, mediocre film!.......2005-04-16
I was disappointed, after reading several reviews that implied this is a scary movie that has been overlooked by the general public. I'm a fan of made for tv 70's scary movies, and love movies that have things that go bump in the night, or hauntings, or scary old houses. This movie was basically more psychological, and not scary at all. The so-called surprise ending was not developed enough to make sense. The directing was poor, and all in all, I'm so frustrated that I spent money on this film. It's priced at only 4.99 now, so that may be worth it, if the shipping is free. It's cheaper than renting it, but you'll probobly never want to watch it again, so why own it?
"If I had a sister like that, I'd boff her.".......2005-02-03
`Learn the startling answer in this expertly crafted thriller from director Peter Rader (co-writer of Waterworld).' This is part of the editorial review listed on Amazon for the film Grandmother's House aka Grandma's House (1988). If this was meant as an enticement, it didn't work, as I saw Waterworld, and I didn't think it was all that great...maybe it had something to do with a man (or mutant, as the case may be) drinking his own wiz...I think Kevin Costner should have to enjoy a cup of his own urinations for each person subjected to his vanity projects...but I digress...this review is for the Image Entertainment release of the film, which lists the title as Grandmother's House and claims to be the 2003 version...there was a previous DVD release of this film titled Grandma's House, and it's essentially the same film with a few differences (I'll explain more later).
The film, directed by Peter Rader (Hired to Kill), stars Eric Foster (Death House) and Kim Valentine (.com for Murder) as recently orphaned siblings David and Lynn, respectively, who are sent to live with their grandparents, played by Len `Uncle Leo' Lesser (Seinfeld, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Kelly's Heroes) and Ida Lee (It Runs in the Family). Also appearing is scream queen and B movie fav Brinke Stevens (Repligator, Horrorvision, Mark of the Astro-Zombies). The film starts out with a funeral, as Eric and Lynn are paying respects to their recently deceased father (apparently, their mother passed sometime earlier). How did he die? Don't know, don't care, doesn't matter...after arriving at their grandparent's orange farm in California (southern California, by the look), things seem all right at first, but the appearance of a rather scary looking woman (Stevens) heralds a world of trouble as David and Lynn discover every family has skeletons in their closet, and some literally...(okay, there are no skeletons in this film, but I thought it sounded kinda cool).
Despite many flaws, I found much to like about this film, even though, based on the title, I was expecting something a little different (I thought it might have been a modern retelling of the story of Little Red Riding Hood). So what was wrong with the film? Well, for starters, the script seemed half-baked, and I don't mean that in the way one would describe someone who uses the Maui Wowie, but in terms of not being fully realized. At times it did work, but then other times it seemed, well, lacking substance, not feeling very realistic....and this wasn't helped by often weak performances. Most of the main actors did well, about as well as you'd expect for this kind of film, but the secondary players tended to stink to the point where they really stood out. This is painfully illustrated by two specific performances, one by Furley Lumpkin (seriously, that's his real name) who played an off duty deputy, and Michael Robinson, who played Lynn's overly amorous love interest Kenny. A side note...did anyone else find it a lot creepy that Kenny, who was clearly in his mid 20's, should have such an infatuation with Lynn, a girl who seemed to be between the ages of 15 and 17? His definition of a date subsisted of thinly veiled innuendoes and a whole lot of groping...ick...the plot got bogged down a few times as it tried to develop a sense of danger where there really wasn't any, similar to a shoddy mystery that pushes the `red herrings' too hard (the scene where the shotgun toting grandfather is searching the house for David comes to mind...it was shot well, and created a good amount of edginess, but ultimately led nowhere). Another thing that kind of bothered me, and I see this a lot in horror films, involves the antagonistic character played by Brinke Stevens, who was pretty effective, even though she didn't have much dialogue. Often she would move throughout the film, magically appearing here and there with relative ease...I would have thought she was twins, or even triplets, the way she got around. So what was good about the film? Well, for the most part the story held up well (the relevant parts), and the director did better than I would have expected in creating tension, avoiding a lot of cheap tactics (pop out scares and such), cultivating the suspense and keeping me interested (he was also helped by genuinely decent musical score). Most of the film took place in the large farmhouse and the surrounding grove, both of which were used well. As I said before, the main actors did pretty well (I did get annoyed with Eric Foster rather quickly, I suppose mainly because he sported a `flock of seagulls' haircut throughout nearly the entire film). I liked the twists and turns in the plot, but that last one seemed to come out of nowhere, and there wasn't really anything to support it within the film (unless I missed it). All in all I'd say this is a pretty watchable film, better than most in its' class, and worth a look if you're interested in a eerie little thriller with more scares than blood.
This release from Image Entertainment is labeled the 2003 version, and claims to have restored audio and video elements. The wide screen (1:85.1) anamorphic picture does look pretty good, but there are a few, minor flaws (nothing to get upset about). The DVD boasts five different audio channels in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround for English, French, German and Italian, along with Dolby Digital 2.0 in English. Special features include a featurette titled `The Films of Nico Mastorakis, Part II' (he's the producer, and I am unsure where part I is located), a theatrical trailer, filmographies and biographies. One thing I learned from this film is when running through an orange grove, it's better to keep your eyes focused in front of you than behind...as I'm sure David would agree...ouch...

So So thriller.......2004-06-10
I decided on purchasing this film afer reading the good reviews on here, i thought i would take a chance and maybe find a horror gem ive never seen. This was a slightly entertaining movie but leaves you disapointed. Story is about a boy and his sister who have to go live with thier grandmother and grandfather, strange things start happening and then the ((suprise)) ending. The ending didnt really suprise me. The begining through the middle keeps you watching to see what will happen but at the end you are like is that it? It wasnt scary. I wouldnt recomend you buy this, try renting it. Then decide.
