Description

As a child, Tommy Jarvis did what many others died trying to do, he killed Jason Vorhees, the mass murderer who terrorized the residents of Crystal lake. But now, years later, Tommy is tormented by the fear that maybe Jason isn't really dead. So, Tommy and a friend go to the cemetery to dig up Jason's grave. Unfortunately for Tommy, (and very unfortunately for his friend), instead of finding a rotting corpse, they discover a well rested Jason who comes back from the dead for another bloody rampage in Friday The 13th - Part VI: Jason Lives.

JASON MADE ANOTHER MOVIE GREAT!I LIKED THE PART WHEN THE TRAILER FLIPPED ON ITS SIDE-JASON GOT ON TOP,AND LOOKED AROUND.IT WAS LIKE HE OWNED THE WORLD.TOO BAD HE DOESN'T HAVE A T-SHIRT OF THAT.I'D BUY IT!I DIDN'T LIKE MEGAN AND TOMMY.THEY WERE GOOFY.JASON DOES HAVE A HEART: HE DIDN'T KILL NO KIDS,AND IN PART 2 HE DIDN'T KILL THE DOG.HE JUST KILLS ADULTS.

Part 6 Jason Lives is the best of the sequels. Only Part 6 had a certain charm to it. I think Part 6 had a bigger budget and it was more of a Hollywood horror movie. Parts 2,3,4, & 5 had more of an indie drive in feel to it.I remember seeing this in a big theatre back in the summer of 1986. It was awesome. Part 3 was pretty good too. All the New Line sequels sucked like Jason Goes To Hell, Jason X, and Freddy Vs. Jason.

MY COMMENTS ARE THE SAME AS PARTS 1,2,3,AND 4.EXCELLENT!I LOVE THE PART WHEN THE TRAILER FLIPPED ON ITS SIDE JASON CRAWLED OUT AND STOOD ON TOP OF THE TRAILER LIKE HE WAS KING.HE WAS JUST LOOKING AROUND LIKE HE OWNED THE WORLD-THE WHOLE TIME THE FIRE WAS GETTING WORSE.WELL,JASON IS KING!

Jason Stalks and chops for horror sake!!!!.......2007-04-28

I've actually found this to be quite entertaining,if you are looking for a plot here you are not going to get it.This movie is just Jason going out to kill whoever is at Camp Crystal Lake(His Home Sweet Home).He kills a couple after being ressurected by Tommy.Later on he cuts the heads off some people playing paintball(I said to myself OUCHHHHH!!!!).He kills some counselors.I am not going to lie but this one scene in which he twists a girl's head really grossed me out.How would you like to be a little kid at Camp Blood and knowing that a brutal killer is on the loose.I'll tell you this I would feel very uneasy there.My only complaint is that it really doesn't have a plot.Jason is still the greatest horror icon of all-time.Forget Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers.This guy is the real deal.

Out of all the endless and undying Jason films, this is one of the few in the series that actually provides some scares regardless of the relentless predictibility. (Jason never dies. Dumb blondes run out the back door instead of the front door like they should. The car ignition won't work at all the right times. Women make obnoxious screams when they're hiding just to merely say 'Jason I'm here!' Yatta-yatta-yatta!)
One interesting scene (obviously I'm a male in my prime when I say this) is when two lovers are humping to '80s rock music in the back of a camper. The camper is jumping up and down. I think a majority of heterosexual men, when watching that scene, are left thinking "How come my girl doesn't do THAT to me?" These cheesy slasher horror films of the 80's genre don't have much merit in the categories of acting skills, realistic gore or physical animation. But, for some kinky sex scenes without overtly pervasive pornographic content of Playboy along with some horrific surprises, it proves to be a nice viewing for a couple that have been dating steadily. So, grab your popcorn and your hormones. Remember, the same hormones and chemicals in our bodies that regulate sexuality also regulate aggression, fear, anxiety, and happiness. (Testosterone, oxytocine, adrenaline, etc.) So, when you combine all of these elements into an hour and a half of screen interactions of this caliber, then it proves to be quite an opportunity for some foreplay and imagination.
