Amazon, and you too IMDB...I beseech you to CORRECT this mistake in the listing. Sho Kosugi and cult horror are completely different entities, in case you failed to notice this fact.

Nonetheless, I may as well give this boxset a rating of some kind for including one of the 'Blind Dead' films. However, if you want the 'Blind Dead' films in excellent quality (unlike this thing), search for Blue Underground's boxset of all four films.

1 out of 5 stars For Sho Kosugi fans, this is the WRONG movie.......2005-12-17

This movie is NOT Sho Kosugis 'Pray For Death' Martial Arts action movie. This is a collection of 4 horror flicks and I was disappointed when I recieved this DVD. DO NOT order this item if you are a fan of Sho Kosugi's Ninja movies.

1 out of 5 stars THE WRONG MOVE THIS IS NOT SHO KOSUGI'S PRAY FOR DEATH.......2005-01-28

This collection of four movies are horror movies they DO NOT CONTAIN SHO KOSUGI'S wonderful ninja movie of the same name
Pray for death (which was a superb ninja movie)
Amazon should correct this wrong listing

2 out of 5 stars The Ugly, the Bad, and the Good.......2003-01-21

When you buy one of those DVDswhich include several films for acheap price, you often get whatyou pay for; PRAY FOR DEATH is anoutstanding case in point. THE UGLY: One reason why I gotthis one is NIGHT OF THE DEATH CULT, which is the fourth of theBlind Dead series, and I'm sorry to report that the picture qualityis atrocious. It clearly came froma substandard videotape source, and is full of the sort of hideous artifacts that plagued budget VHStapes. Let's hope for a bettercopy of this title someday soon. THE BAD: The prerelease infoindicated that the notorious MARKOF THE DEVIL PART 2 was part ofthis package, but if you orderedit for that reason, you're goingto be bumming, as DEATH CULT is the only announced title which isactually included...come on, guys! THE GOOD: As to the movieswhich ended up being included,THEWEREWOLF VS THE VAMPIRE WOMAN is acampy Paul Naschy vehicle which isentertaining in its goofy fashion.SISTERS OF DEATH features an oddperformance by 1950s Sci-Fi heroArthur Franz as he menaces, amongothers, the ill-fated Playboy model Claudia Jennings...this oneoffers better acting than usuallyseen in such low-budget fare. Andlastly we have the ubiquitousSATANIC RITES OF DRACULA in apretty decent letterbox print. Iguess that Hammer must really notcare about this title, judgingfrom the number of cheap DVDs onwhich it can be found. All threeof this group are watchable, if not exactly DVD demo material. VERDICT: All in all, it's OKfor the price, but I'll be morewary in the future.

1 out of 5 stars Whatever happened to good vampire movies?.......2004-09-20

Vampire Sisters is one of the worst vampire movies I've ever viewed. If there was a good actor/actress in it, he was well hidden. The plot was virtually ridiculous and, for serious vampire watchers, this was a farce! I would recommend almost any vampire movie above this one. Don't waste your time or money!

3 out of 5 stars They keep getting better.......2004-02-03

Vampire Sisters is third in a sequence of collaboration between Joe Ripple and Don Dohler, starting with Harvesters and then Stakes. As a low budget indie, this movie is really good. It's sexy, bloody, scary, ....

But, the highlight to me is the closing sequence (under the credits) which I believe is outstanding even by big budget standards. I won't spoil it by describing it here. It's just completely great - although you need to have seen at least the start of the movie to get the full impact. It's one of the most masterful pieces of video and audio editing I've ever seen.

4 out of 5 stars Camp at it's best!.......2007-01-07

Well almost at it's best. This is no Young Frankenstein but still s good way to waste a little time!

1 out of 5 stars These "movies" sucked.......2005-03-11

And yes, pun more or less intended. I finally got a copy today, really against my better judgement, but it was cheap (at a store that shall remain nameless) and two discs so I hoped against hope that it'd be a decent deal. Man, was I wrong! If I knew it'd be this bad you couldn't have GIVEN it to me! I expected it to be low budget but jeez, they must've only used about $100 worth of videotape, instead of using film. The 1996 original was the worst in all respects but at least the sequel kinda had a couple of funny jokes. Still, it'd cut back and forth between being on videotape and digital tape, I guess it was. In both films the stripping was so boring that I'd fast forward through it, but at least the dancers were pretty decent looking for the most part. The acting in both films was atrocious, as were the stupidest, phoniest fight scenes ever, and who the hell was in charge of the sucky music? What was up with that? I know that their budget either didn't allow for using at least some popular music, or else they weren't given permission to, I guess, but the songs (which were all vampire-themed, of course) were just soooo bad, musically.

BTW, is it just me or did anyone else notice the similarity between the ex-priest actor and his chubby friend with long dark hair and full facial hair, Larry, and Kevin Smith and his goateed friend in "Clerks"? Coincidence? You be the judge.

Anyway, if you like fake breasts (though there were some real ones, too), atrocious acting, phony fight scene, gahdawful music and Z-budget films then by all means get this DVD set. It's right up your alley.

5 out of 5 stars Great Vampire Flick.......2004-08-16

This movie has everything you could ask for in a vampire movie from a blood bath with a naked Amber Newman to a blood orgasm with Glori-Anne Gilbert. The strip club scenes had a feel of realism to them. None of that cheesy feeling the director had never been to a strip club and repeats 30 seconds of footage over and over. This two disk set also included a short film Portal:the movie that I found hilarious. One of my favorite parts in the extras is the homage to boobies. There sure were plenty of them to chose from in this movie.

5 out of 5 stars Long Awaited Sequel.......2004-05-27

Finally, a sequel to the "Gone With The Wind of Vampire Stripper Movies"! This movie continues the story that began in "Vamps : Deadly Dreamgirls" which is included as a special bonus. You get to find out if a relationship between an ex-priest and a newly turned vampire stripper can work out. Glori-Anne Gilbert joins the cast as Heather (all grown up and now looking like a professional dancer). Paul Morris returns as Seamus. Guess what, Amber Newman's character who played Randi in the first movie, had a twin sister who is a vampire. Who is not at all pleased her sister is dead. Loaded with hot dancers and they even threw in a plot at no extra charge. Joe Bob Briggs gave 3 1/2 stars out of 4.

3 out of 5 stars Not good but not bad.......2007-06-19

Not really what I was hopeing for!

1 out of 5 stars Vampire Bore!!.......2007-03-14

Another bad film with bad acting bad effects and just a bad plot. There not much here accept some nudity. Three vampire sisters lure men into there house through their sex web sight. Then of course eat suck their blood, how original. Then a cop gets on their tale and you know the rest of the story. A real bore fest. I bought this one and Vampire sisters 2. Both stunk. I will give Vampire Sisters 2 this it had a lot more nudity other than that these movies offer nothing new or cool. Bad film making at it's best.

5 out of 5 stars Gore, lovely vampire women and humor........2006-01-02

What more could you ask for? First, there is the imaginative idea of three female vampires using a webcam site to, not only produce an income, but also lure male victims to their lair. In other words they pick winners, men who spend more than the others, to sup on. The men think their fetish dreams will be answered. And they ARE allowed to live just long enough to make them, and us - the viewers - happy just before they are killed in all kinds of very nasty ways. Think Tool Time.
The three vampires, played by the cute Darla Albornoz, the tall Jeannie Michelle Jamseon and the very shapely Syn DeVil, are just the kind of vampires I would enjoy being drained by. As long as they didn't use a saw to kill me. Ewwww...
The women are pretty and their characters work well together, the outfits are fun - tight leather, little girl outfits, kinky footware - and there is enough humor to balance out the pools of fake blood. There is some nudity but nothing to overcome the R rating of the movie.
Add a blooper reel, a making of featurette, a commentary and even the closing credits of the movie are fun to watch. Dance, Darla, dance! Just tons of fun!

1 out of 5 stars This shouldnt even have one star..........2005-08-24

There's a difference between making a home movie and making a horror film. It seems the director may have forgotten this small detail as he had one of the vampire sisters spitting out all the blood she drank while showering (Why didnt she just swallow it instead of sensually bathing and letting it drip out of her mouth?) which was obviously cough syrup. This is not a serious movie. In fact, its a fine line between b porn and c movies. If you want to be teased and not see sex, and if you want to be lead on into thinking something could ever result from the poor acting and terrible story, dont see this. If you want a good laugh, please see it.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Film!.......2004-09-22

One of the best movies I've seen in ages. Hats off to all the guys and gals that made this movie, it's truly original and incredible. Definitely a must buy for any vampire or horror fan!
