Recently indicted Senator Gene Haskell (Jeff Fahey) has his lackey (Corey Feldman) hire a professional hit man (Steve Barnes) to clean up a few messes, including removing a crime syndicate and kidnapping an underage girl who's obsessed with being the senator's wife (Marisa Petroro). Seveal bodies later, the senator cmes face to face with his past while trying to leave no witnesses alive. This movie is so incredibly awful that the star, Steve Barnes, has filed a lawsuit against an Atlanta radio station and it's dj's for making fun of it. Although it doesn't seem possible, as pathetic an actor as Steve Barnes as shown himself to be, he is an even more pathetic human being.

Buying this movie would be a crime against mankind.

Steve barnes performance was incredible. If you traded his guns for a tennis racket the movie would still rock. The only thing this movie is missing is Freddy T, FK and more shots of Barnes back acne. Barnes will always be my hero and I want to give him the grumpyfish.

Can You Say "Low Budget?" & Where's The Minus 5 Stars Button?.......2005-09-23

OK, so I bought the DVD because the film's 'star' Steve Barnes, is/was a fairly OK radio DJ here in the ATL, and the local hype was big because it was filmed here. The whole film gives our town (and possibly the entire South) a bad name. The DVD is blurry so everything in Atlanta looks old and out of focus. The sound is muddled, and where there should be background noise/music, there isn't any. The writing and acting are putrid, especially Steve Barnes' premiere starring role as a Terminator 2 wanna-be that plays like a stoic robot in a stupor instead of an actual character. Jeff Fahey as a US Senator (serving an 8-year term? When did that start?) must be ashamed he ever showed up in this pig. The movie's art direction and continuity staff must have quit before production started, as did the make-up team (you'll see what I mean). Low points include a girl that is supposedly under 18 years old (but looks 35) being held 'captive' in a cheap $30 wire dog crate from Petsmart (could escape in 10 seconds...try it at home), and a US Senators' re-election fund-raiser(after the infamous 8-year term) being held in the attic of a warehouse with like 15 people in attendance. This movie smells so bad that you'll need to take 2 showers and brush your teeth to get the taste out. I can stand almost anything, and make allowances for low budget, but not for low effort. The movie's producers didn't care and neither should you. Spend 90 minutes doing something more fun, like changing your transmission fluid.

An excellent first foray into the world of screenwriting and producing. Steve Antczak rocks. Hopefully his next film venture will be just as exciting as this one. Good Luck Steve and Great Going!!!!

A Working Girl's Best Friend.......2005-07-28

I looove this movie. As a professional dominatrix, it's my job to inflict torture and pain on my clients. Beating some mid-level office manager with a whip for two hours is hard work. But now, all I have to do is strap them to a chair in front of screen playing "No Witness." Meanwhile, I go to my office to smoke a cigarette and surf the internet. I have to hand it to that Steve Barnes - his acting has those porky losers screaming louder than I've ever heard.

I can't wait for the sequel.
