This DVD captures Faithless at their best, live in concert. If you are a fan of Faithless, you will love this DVD. The quality of this DVD becomes very apparent in the production's ability to capture the mesmerizing light show and great shots of the band performing - with top-notch sound quality. This DVD is coded for Europe, so make sure you a multi-regional or region 2 DVD player.

A very well done Live DVD.......2006-02-23

I am a long time Faithless fan in the U.S. Unfortunately, we do not get a chance to see them live since they do not come here for some reason. I absolutely love this Live DVD. It's very well done, sounds great and has a very good set of songs from the band.

I only wish they came to the U.S. to tour so I can see them live in person.

If you like Faithless, you will love this DVD.

In 2005, Faithless,(DJ Rollo, Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz) celebrated 10 years together. This DVD features the band performing their hits onstage and in music videos. Songs include "Salva Mea," "Don't Leave," "God Is a DJ," "Take the Long Way Home," "Bring My Family Back," "Tarantula," "Mass Destruction," "Muhammad Ali" and "I Want More."

This band is phenomenal! Those who are fans know exactly what I'm talking about. I don't know why they don't come to the U.S. but I REALLY wish that they would. Check them out in a rare live performance on DVD "Live at Alexandra Palace".

If you like Dido (DJ Rollo's sis), Massive Attack, Groove Armada and other similiar acts you'll absolutely love FAITHLESS.

Until a U.S. tour this all we have. Come to the U.S.!!

Fantastic film, but DVD chapter titling a problem.......2004-06-08

This film is moving and gripped me from beginning to end. I have one major gripe however about the DVD. The chapter title of the last segment, which you can read on the DVD case and when you go to "menu" and "chapters" while watching, gives away a crucial plot point. It would be much better for this to remain a surprise.

If you watch this film, keep your eyes averted from the case and the chapter titles until you've finished!

Bergman last gift ?.......2004-05-29

On this movie,Lena Andre proves that she's on the same level of all swedish actress from the past;Greta Garbo,Ingrid Bergman,Ingrid Thulin,Bibi Anderson etc...) The screenplay by Bergamn is one of his best.Liv Ullmann is a great director.5 out of 5.

Liv Ullmann and Ingmar Bergman.What can I say?With no fancy talk,let's get down to business.The screenplay (by Ingmar Bergman) is terrific as always.The director,Liv Ullmann,had a great teacher.A very few times in my life I saw the reviews that this movie had...I did not see one single bad review of this movie.The worst one was 3 and half out of 4 stars.Another work of art in the long and fruitful collaboration between Liv Ullmann (the first lady of cinema) and Ingmar Bergman.(maybe the greatest filmmaker of all time.) Lena Endre is amazing on it.Is that simple.

Not Bad, but Not Bergmanesque.......2004-01-06

This movie is a bit boring and a bit hard to follow, but the actual plot is what makes it worth it. Sure, it's self-indulgent, almost to the point of being annoying, and the characters' real positions in the story are not obvious enough (Bergman most of all), but the movie is worth watching a few times, and enjoying for the honesty of the plot; the point is, what Bergman is portraying in this movie happens, happens often, and is not so difficult to relate to. A woman who has an affair, loses her husband, then loses her "affair-ee", ends up with almost nothing in the end but the sadness and guilt of losing everything and being confused and trying to cover up by lying and making choices that she thought she was making for the best: these things happen every day, to many people, and the brutal truth of the story makes it worth it. The acting is quite good, and for a movie in general, 'Faithless' is good, but for Bergman standards, it's definitely not up to potential. If you have an interest in Bergman, get 'Cries and Whispers' or if you want something strange, check out some of his older stuff, even 'Fanny and Alexander' is not quite as boring and confusing as 'Faithless,' but again, this is definitely a movie worth seeing.

not even saved by a good actress.......2003-05-04

While the female lead was strong, credible, and appealing, this contrived and forced movie left much to be desired. The angle of the little girl - Marianne's daughter - had undeveloped possibilities; and Marianne's retrospective suspended the pace and emotion of the movie. The actors were clearly capable and professional, but the whole effect was strained, annoying, and pretensious without any substance.
