This documentary and off-broadway performance is a mixture of Waiting for Guffman, Rocky Horror Picture Show and West Side Story. The quality of the recording isn't the best, but in my opinion only adds to the flavor of the production. The cast is talented, though they don't exactly get a chance to shine considering the cheesy midi-music recording and fabulously awful direction. My favorites were the goth gang of leather-wearing thugs including John Sechrist and Beth Dwyer. This film gives a comedic insight into the bowels of musical theatre in New York City.
