Buyers Beware - RIP-OFF.......2007-01-25

I am not going to comment on the qualities of the movie itself. What really is amazing that the quality of the recording for this DVD has been directly lifted from the Public Domain vaults WITHOUT any trace of enhancement or improvement - oh yes, the makers of this product call it 'REMASTERING'. In fact, I have compared this DVD with the one from the Dark Crimes set (50 movies for less that $20) and they are identical. It's up to the buyers to do a simple math - to get this 'remastered' rip-off or a set of 50 movies for the same amount of money. I wish there was some regulatory agency to stop these rip-off astists from fooling consumers. BUYERS BEWARE!

Criminals deserve to be in prison forever is the point of this well done older film.

It's in black and white and has a classic sense to it but the message of the film is just as valuable today as it was when the movie was made.

It tells the story of a criminal who gets out of jail early on parole and then kills people.

It's just like real life and has a valuable message about being tough on crime.

Apart from being an all-time entertainer, it has a message that our prison system would do well to take notice of. Michael O'Shea does his role to perfection. Anyone who claims that `oldies' are pass? needs to see this brilliant piece of classic film-making..."
