I LOVE THIS SHOW. . ITS SOO CUTE AND AMANDA BYNES IS HILLARIOUS!!! Amanda An Amazingly Funny Girl.......2006-11-10

Had it not been for my kids watching The Amanda Show on satellite tv I would not have caught an episode of the Amanda Show and found out why they were always laughing so hard. I have to admit that her comedic timing and facial expressions are truly entertaining and off the wall. Amanda is an inspiration to my youngest daughter, who hopes to carry as much spunk and charisma as Amanda does. It's good to see that good clean fun is still being offered these days and I would highly recommend these DVDs for family viewing and a hardy escape from the work-a-day world into hilarious hijinx.

GOSH DARNED BRILLIANT!!!! .......2006-01-17

OK, OK, I'm twenty three years old. I was introduced to this show, via my friend's four year old daughter, but now I watch it for my own enjoyment purposes. The show is hillarious, the best thing to come out of Nickelodeon since You Can't Do THat On Television, which is greatly missed I might add... when are they going to release that on DVD?
First of all Amanda Bynes is a cute teen chick, without all the BS surrounding her, like dear, does she have a studio album yet? I don't think so! She has a very lively persona, that is perfect to center this sketch comedy show for kids around. Good crazy fun. Instead of selling sex, she sells fart jokes and country hick-billy jokes, very well. Her numerous recurring characters are all a bunch of fun, and the supporting cast is also very talented, the Drake and Josh kids are pretty hip as well in their own show. Great for kids of all ages.

P.S> to the kids who don't remember You Can't DO That On Television, I'm very sorry. Nickelodeon stopped airing it about twelve years ago, but it was the most rock and roll show ever! Anyway, The Amanda Show doesn't air new shows either, I'm well aware... but at least there are still repeats and a DVD. I am happy to know that there are still hip shows for kids, because I really get scared sometimes for the future crop of kids, and a pussified, saturated world.

I seen What I like about you, the show is compared to The Gilmore Girls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Related. Val and Holly are like Lorelai and Rory Gilmore and Buffy and Dawn Summers. Jennie Garth has the greatest resemblance of The O.C.'s Mischa Barton. Amanda Bynes has the greatest resemblance of 7th Heaven Jessica Biel, Katie Holmes and The O.C.'s Rachel Bilson. Tom Cruise can mistake her for Katie Holmes. I always think Amanda Bynes should of married Tom Cruise not Katie Holmes. Nick Zano has the greatest resemblance of Angel's David Boreanaz. Vince and Holly are like Buffy and Angel on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Wesley Jonathan is compared to Will Smith. If he ever did an action movie he would done Bad Boys, better than him. Leslie Erin Grossman is compared to Urma Thurman. That's no lie, she really does look like Urma Thurman. Allison Munn has the greatest resemblance of Paris Hilton and Grammy award winner Christina Aguilera. Dan Cortese looks like N'Sync Lance Bass. Tell you the truth Justin Timberlake can mistake him for Lance Bass, that is no joke. Lauren and Tina are like the cynical and worried best friends of Val and Holly. Amanda Bynes might someday win an Oscar anytime soon. If she did, she never forget where she came from. If Amanda Bynes ever was on Buffy, she probably would have gone for Angel or Spike. If Amanda Bynes was on American Pie, she probably would have gone for Steve Stifler. Amanda Bynes has whole new road to go through. Jennie Garth looks like she was eighteen or ninteen. Even though she is 33 she looks like she looks like she was eighteen or ninteen than 33. Amanda Bynes might be ninteen she looks like she was 24 or 25.

Not as Naked as it Should Be.......2007-05-14

Plenty of naked women in this movie (including the "reporter"), but not as revealed as they should be or you'd expect them to be. The absloute minimum possible amount of crotch shots (even accidental or incidental). The shower scene is too much one-on-none (each girl soaps herself). The massage scenes aren't even very sensual, much less sexy or sexual. The whole thing was not very much of a turn-on for me, but a young man who hasn't seen very much would probably like it.

OK, I liked the overall idea of a post-game girl's locker room with the accompanying nudity and sexy girl-to-girl massages, but I didn't give this one five stars because it was overly silly and not as erotic as it could-or-should have been! The TV reporter is cute, but she, too, was overly silly and fake. I would rather there was more of an element of physical attraction between ther women involved.

First they all shower together, and then it's one-on-one massaging. Too often, however, the women are just mugging for the camera. I would have preferred they'd actually scripted something. I mean, with all of those gorgeous girls with their incredibly nice round rear ends, why not?

The Answer To A Long Held Fantasy.......2005-05-28

Going all the way back to High School and College, a guy fantasy is to somehow be welcome in the girls' locker room at shower time. Well, the fantasy does not usually come true in real life. However, with this excellent video a guy can realize his fantasy coming true for a few minutes on video. All tame stuff, but with soap and water in all the right places. Enjoy!

CUTE BUT TAME.......2005-04-04

In the first segment of this feature, eight girls, the winning team of a basketball game, enter a makeshift locker room and are interviewed about the game by a ninth girl, who later joins them in the showers. They get undressed as they are being interviewed, and then eventually head for the showers, where they wash their bodies and romp about. A sound track plays in the background as the camera concentrates on each of the bathers, paying especially close attention to their buttocks. The second segment involves several scenes, each one showcasing two girls taking turns in giving one another body rubs. The feature closes with the girls applying makeup, getting dressed, and exiting the locker room. The DVD includes one short bloopers segment and two "bonus" scenes, namely, two more body-rub scenes. Except for the interview and the bloopers segments, music plays throughout the entire feature.

The performers in this feature are young, and for the most part, cute. They seem to enjoy frolicking about in the buff, and most of them have nice bodies to flaunt. Unfortunately, however, the viewer doesn't get to see more than their breasts and butts: perhaps a flash of vulva in one or two instances, but even Playboy videos reveal much more. For admirers of female genitalia, this would be a big disappointment. Also on the minus side is the poor picture quality of the DVD. There is a good amount of pixelation evident throughout the feature, and the cameraman could use a lesson or two on how to focus properly: every once in a while the picture goes out of focus--and back in focus. Granted, this is an amateur video, but given its twenty-dollar price tag, one would expect better quality.

Overall this feature is entertaining, offering the viewer plenty of eye candy. But for the viewer who enjoys looking at the vaginas of naked women and who demands good picture quality from a DVD, this title simply doesn't cut it.

Enjoyed the movie! Looking for music..........2006-09-15

I enjoyed watching this movie, really liked the storyline. There is a scene when Grace is looking for her notebook where she had some notes for the test, and Casey is off at a club w/ her friends. There is this really cool song playing, that Casey is dancing too. I love that song! Does anyone know what song that is?

I really enjoyed this film!.......2005-06-24

I first heard about this film quite a while ago, and have wanted to see it for a very long time. I am a very big fan of Soleil Moon Frye, and she is the main reason I wanted to see it. When I saw that it was released on DVD I was extremely happy.

From the moment the film started, I was drawn in, and I stayed drawn in until the end. Casey's (Soleil Moon Frye) opening and ending monologue was great, and an awesome way to open and end the movie. The ending is very good, and it leaves you feeling complete. The movie is really about two college roomates who are very different. It is about one of them wanting revenge on the other. The movie is very real, and that, to me, is very refreshing.

The only problem I had with the film was the editing. It is very choppy, and isn't put together all that well, but it isn't a big problem. I only thought about it during a few scenes.

The two main characters are compelling. I have to say that Soleil gives the best performance in the film. The other lead, Cat Taber (who plays Grace), was good, but it felt like her performance was missing something. The other actors were all great as well (Notably Wil Wheaton as Grace's fiance, and Gary Wolf as Casey's friend).

The DVD has no extras at all, though. It only has the film and scene selections (a total of 8 chapters), and if you leave it on the main menu for too long, the movie starts by itself. The lack of extras doesn't bother me, though. It took the film long enough to get released.

While this movie isn't for everyone, I loved it, and will watch it more than once. The DVD doesn't seem to be a big release, so you may have a hard time finding a rental, but it is well worth the purchase price here! If you are a fan of one of the actors, this is a must have DVD!

In closing, I would like to say "How nice, How very, very nice!"

College roomies Casey (Frye) and Grace (Taber) are a contempo odd couple. Casey, a quasi goth bohemian-esque performance artist with a penchant for bad boys,sex,profanity and pot, garbs herself in black and heavy mascara. Preppy good girl Grace just wants to ace her classes and wed her frat boy Romeo (Wil Wheaton). When Casey's obnoxious taunts and schemes put Grace's plans in jeopardy, she resolves to get even.

The Girls' Room" nicely develops its characters, resisting the urge to limit them as easy stereotypes.Nor does Amanda Beall's script demonize either character. Casey, it turns out, knows she was dealt a bad hand from the start, whereas Grace subtly begins to question her sheltered Southern upbringing.

Girls room is way more than a chick flick.do to the fact that its verry understandable no matter what gender or race you are.its more or less implies that sheltered well off people have issues too and that their not always the antagonizers like in most mediums.though i don't belive people really denied that,we know that rich sheltered girls have issues aswell.though to be blunt i will say their not the same as everyday people problems but i digress.

Both women are flawed, to be sure, but despite their surface antagonism, each harbors a real desire to explore the other's life. Their mutual attraction-repulsion keeps the tension percolating and thankfully leaves some surprises for the final reel. The characters ultimately emerge in the script as wholly rounded and,as realized in Taber and Frye's empathetic performances, neither easy to like nor completely despicable

Cool Chick Flick!!!.......2005-05-15

Punky Brrewster fans will love this film! Soliel Moon Frye is so hot! A funny and touching coming of age story about two college roommates who are complete opposties. It's a story about friendship and figuring out who you are and where you want to go in life. I bought this for my 20 year old sis in college and she loved it! I thought it was well directed too. I think this is the director's first film. Well done!!

A must see indie film!.......2005-03-21

This film is especially well directed, and flows well. A Southern college story that is both heart-warming and funny. I've seen this film twice and love it. Great performances from Cat Tabor and Soleil Moon Frye. Grab a bowl of popcorn!

I really enjoyed this movie. It has everything that you would see at a comedy club and I didn't have to pay the 2 drink minimum.

Comedy in the Living Room, Vol 3.......2007-01-09

Nasty humor suitable for trailer trash and not suitable for a normal living room. Obviously, I can't recommend this "below the belt" comedy for any one. Amazon made a big mistake by suggesting those who purchased the comedy DVD, Jerry Seinfeld "live on broadway", would like "comedy in the living room" - I think not.
