Well, it isn't completely uncensored. There is still some shielding / blurring of some of the action. And, I was kind of expecting these to be not before seen cases. I think I didn't read the description correctly. :)

All in all, it is entertaining.

I purchased this during a deployment to alleviate the boredom of an otherwise uneventful time. I had already purchased Best of Cheaters Vol.1 and Uncensored Vol. 5 and I was really happy with both. I was disappointed to still see some situation still blurred though all the cursing was spot on. I would have to say that this one had more bark than bite. I can only hope the Uncensored Vol. 7 has more action than this did.

not all that different than tv show,just a lot of cusswords,i guess that is mostly the uncensored part,just not enough nudity for me really only 2 scenes of nudity,no caption which you need to follow all the back and forth talking between all parties involved including Joey and Tommy,but it did show alot of the scenes i had forgot about.

There's nothing like watching human nature in all it's baseness. In today's world
where we are oversaturated with reality tv, this show really sticks out. You can't beat
the reaction when someone is caught with their pants down. (Pun intended.) Having the show unedited
makes it worth the purchase. Maury and Jerry are passe next to Cheaters.

My advice go rent it. I'm very disappointed with this dvd set. Yeah, you get to see full frontal nudity and penetration but then my interest started to go down. The remainder was just the cursing. The last dvd is mostly repeats of Disk 1 and 3. The only thing different is Joey Grieco is hosting them. Cheaters chumped me. I'm so glad I renteD this.

Okay here is an honest review that won't blow smoke up your you know what.

I gave in and bought this DVD set when I was not able to rent it. Cheaters is my guilty pleasure show. I stumbled on the show by accident when I was switching channels, and have been hooked ever since. Cheaters is a show where people pretty much know their mate is cheating, but want some proof so they can create a scene on television. The best part of the segments is when the cameras run up on people, and they have this look of shock on their faces when they see their boyfriend or girlfriend running up on them.

This set contains 4 DVD's. What was fun was seeing the segments totally unedited and being able to hear all the swearing, and seeing some of the naughty content. However, there was still a couple that were NOT uncensored and images were still blurred out. In addition, I usually tune out when the cheaters face is blurred. That is no fun at all. I mean what is the sense of not having your face shown, you are already busted!!!

The cases are of not only heterosexual couples caught cheating, but lesbian and in one case a woman who finds out her boyfriend is really gay. What makes me laugh is out of one side of their mouth the victims will say "he or she" is a good man or woman, but how good are these folks if you are on cheaters? Not that good.

Some people resort to placing hidden cameras in their home, and they get to find out some things they did not want to see. Like their mates having sex with the baby sitter, or their lesbian lover having relations with a man. Sometimes weapons were pulled out, fights would occur.

There was one case where the woman ran up on her husband and simply clocked him on the head, another woman sprays mace on her guy!! Oh yeah the confrontations can get ugly.

Some of the cases I will highlight:

Ava Lee who was upset when her Al Sharpton hair don't guy was cheating on her, and he was very nonchalant about it. She said he was a attractive, obviously Ava needed her eyes examined, but I digress. She confronts him as he is leaving church with his new woman. His lies was he was working or hanging with the band.

Renee was this overly made up (I mean can you say spray painted the make up on) woman who was pregnant with her boyfriends child. He was cheating, and when he is confronted he totally looses his temper and stabs Joey. I had no idea Joey was stabbed, not to mention another man falls off the boat. So the rest of that case is subduing the stabber, and getting Joey to the hospital.

Jasmin her boyfriend was coming over to do a lot of laundry, what he was really doing was her roommate. No correction ex-roommate. The roommate tries to justify her actions by saying Jasmine was cheating on the boyfriend, but of course she had no proof.

Amanda Grayson gothic looking woman who has a boyfriend making sex tapes with another woman. Loved that confrontation. Amanda breaks the camera. Cheater claims he was making the tapes to sell so he could have his own tattoo shop so he could be his own boss. What was sad was Amanda had aborted a baby she was to have by him at his request.

Aaron Rodriquez girlfriend is a secretary taking dictation from another man at the office. That man was peeing in the coffee (yucky!!!), and being disrespectful. He claims Aaron was racist.

There was a guy who thought being with a dominatrix would help his family. Hilarious!!! He is running through the hall of the hotel trying to avoid the camera with his black mask on his head. One woman from another case screams "I've been saved by Jesus so F you."

Then there was the guy in the sparkling boxer shorts who runs home barefoot. His friend confronts him, and he really has nothing to say, but his friend was somewhat appreciative because he now knew not to marry his trifling girlfriend.

If you are a fan of the show and missed episodes like I did, it's worth buying. It's a set I will watch every now and again when I have nothing better to watch on television or nothing better to do. My only complaint is disk 4 has some of the shows that were on the other three disks. I found myself fast forwarding through some of those cases.

The show is simply what it is, a show about confronting cheaters in the act. It gives one person closure, and the other is possibly made to realize how their actions hurt someone they claimed they loved.

Not quite; Nice try though.......2006-06-16

Essentially this is the tv version without bleeps or blurred out pictures. However there is a scene on the uncensored that still has blurred out picture. DVD #4 is essentially a replay of previous cases presented in the other DVDs. No special director's cut or extra footage. This DVD I consider to be a waste of money has I didnt get any extra pictures or footage . I expected to have a directors cut or something special. Simply a compilation of same tv cases same presentation without bleeps and blurry pictures. If u need to purchase one I'm selling.

Unexpectedly Great Film! .......2006-08-23

I'm not sure how this movie premiered. I think it was on MTV, if I'm not mistaken! Did it come out in theaters?

In any case, it was certainly a sleeper. I had definitely heard of it, but it was not "OVERHYPED" as so many other films these days. So I wasn't expecting much! So imagine my delight, when I came across this DVD in the bargain bin at Walmart, and decided to take a chance!

Well, I'm glad I did! This movie was incredibly good! It really made you think about College (and high-school) life, and whether or not its worth it to cheat on an exam! There was great music, great personality clashes, awesome dialogue, great storytelling from the main female character.

I have actually re-watched this movie 3 or 4 times (probably more, but don't want to exaggerate.), and never get tired of it. It is a great lesson in ethics watching this movie.

Highly recommended!

This movie presents a real moral dilemna..should students who have always been thought of as losers take a chance and cheat. The teacher has the toughest decision to make-weather to let his students cheat and what to do if they get caught. Jeff Daniels plays the part well-showing how he is torn-wanting his students to get recognition and wanting to teach them right from wrong. This movie has moral questions that we all face.

See It.......2005-04-03

I went to Steinmetz High School before this happened. Steinmetz was not located in the poorer section of Chicago and not only poor kids attended Steinmetz. I think this movie was good. I'm a little disappointed though that Steinmetz is only recognized as the school that cheated. I no longer live in Chicago, however, when I'm asked "Where did you go to school?" I reply "Did you ever see that movie "Cheaters"?" or Hugh Hefner (Playboy) graduated from there. (Betcha didn't know that!) As for Whitney Young, yes at that time they were a bunch of crybabies. I hope this movie goes as a lesson to the kids who feel compelled to cheat. Who knows, they may make a sequel to this movie, eventually.

Great Movie! Funny and Realistic! .......2005-03-25

Cheaters is one of the best tv movies ever to come around. Jeff Daniels plays the Academic Decathalon coach who is fed up that the school he works at refuses to contribute any money to their cause and is generally mad about how Whitney Young is favored and his school is poorly funded. This is totally understandable, so when he finds his team with the help of Jena Malone, he really wants to prove everyone wrong by winning. When one of the students gets a copy of the test, they decide whether to look at it and of course can't refuse. The cast is very good here and i found the characters intriguing. This is not some rubbishy movie to pass time, it is well written and seriously interesting. I did of course hate whitney young and wanted steinmetz to win, even if they did cheat. ALthough cheating is wrong, I could see what drove them to want to win. Anyone can. Once they knew they had the test, it would be impossible for them to want to study when they knew the questions were right next to them. The only thing that I did not understand was how they never thougt about what would happen at nationals after they won state. I guess it would be too far in the future, but someone was bound to notice. It is too bad they cheated and got caught i guess. I still hate whitney young more, even though they did something wrong. I also was surprised that a teacher would have the same position on the subject as the students, but I could understand based on how his father worked hard and got screwed. The music in the film is also great. It was completly unfair that whitney young's advisor or whatever wanted them to take the test again, why should they have? That was outrageous and i seriously did hate the snitch in the film. He did not do it to clean his conscience or whatever, no no he wanted to become famous as the person who helped crack the case. Bottom Line: At least rent this movie, you will not be disappointed. It is that good!

It's amazing that this sort of thing really happens. But as the movie went along, I could really feel for these charecters and wished they could beat the system. Jena Malone and Dov Tiefenbach are wonderful in the movie...and I never knew Jeff Daniels could pull off such a serious role.
