Blondie's Deborah Harry has said that as a little girl, she had hoped Marilyn Monroe was her mother. The fantasy of having a celebrity parent is not lost on 15-year-old Dinky Bossetti (Winona Ryder), who is positive that the glamorous Roxy Carmichael is indeed her birth mother. The 1990 film Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael is more about Dinky and the town's obsession with its one claim to fame than Roxy, who really isn't all that famous. (She had a song written about her.) Little seen and seldom heard, Roxy works more as a poetic device here, causing the townspeople of her small Midwestern hometown to get all worked up about her return home and delving into why their worth is tied to the glamorous life Roxy represents. Ryder was in her late teens when she tackled this role, and no amount of loose black clothing or surly demeanor can mask her gamine beauty. Still, she manages to pull off the role of the class outcast, who in all probability would've had a better life if her parents hadn't stuck her with the oddball name of "Dinky." As she explains to someone who is confused by her actions, "It's not for you to understand, really." But Dinky is a stubborn teenager who is sure that her life would have been better if it turned out that Roxy is her birth mother. Indeed, it could've been. Roxy had an affair with local landscaper Denton Webb (Jeff Daniels) and gave the baby up for adoption exactly 15 years ago. Hmmm. As it turns out, Dinky was adopted, too. The film is pleasant and Ryder is a joy to watch, but in terms of offering a compelling storyline, it's not much different from your average movie of the week. --Jae-Ha Kim
Product Description
It's been fifteen years since Roxy Carmichael left Clyde, Ohio, for fame and fortune. Now the town is excitedly planning for her homecoming. Among those anxiously awaiting her return: the forgotten boyfriend who fathered Roxy's child (Jeff Daniels); Roxy's rival (Dinah Manoff); and Dinky Bossetti (Winona Ryder), a gifted but eccentric 15-year-old girl who feels secretly tied to Roxy's past. Sparkling with heartfelt humor and warmth, Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael is a tender story of yearning and self-discovery. Of hopes, celebrity and dreams. And the importance of finding acceptance on one's own terms.

"It's good to want things".......2007-06-11
Winona Ryder stars as Dinky Bossetti, an awkward teenager in a small Ohio town called Clyde. The citizens of Clyde are in an uproar because one of their own, a woman named Roxy Carmichael, who left town 15 years before to take Hollywood by storm is returning for the first time. Dinky finds herself enthralled by Roxy and begins to ask everyone she can for information about the woman. Why Roxy is famous, why she left town, what she was like? The more answers Dinky gets to her questions, the more she finds herself convinced that Roxy is her long-lost mother and that when she comes back, she'll take Dinky back to Hollywood with her.
Welcome Home, Roxy Carmichael came out when I was 10 years old and I remember being completely in love with it. Winona Ryder is at her best as this misunderstood teen misfit who doesn't fit in with the kids in her school nor with her own family and has to look elsewhere to make a place for herself. Dinky's obsession with Roxy gives her a reason to belong and finally makes her feel like she might fit in somewhere. Almost 20 years later, this film is still as great as it was when I was a kid. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys those early 90's films about misanthropic teenagers and their coming-of-age.

What more can one say.......2007-01-11
except these are among the best films made and the best of Paul Newman.
Two of his best films + his most popular one in a bargain package.......2005-12-27
This is like most bargain multi-pack DVD packages: it simply takes three pre-existing DVD's (with the same inserts and plastic cases) and puts them in a boring, cardboard slipcase.
The concept isn't exciting, but economically, this is an excellent deal. It would be more expensive to buy these DVD's individually, and there really isn't any filler either. "The Verdict" and "The Hustler" are not only two of Newman's best performances, their two of his best films, even better than "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid," which is probably his most popular movie and is still entertaining decades later.
Paul Newman's easily one of Hollywood's best actors of the last 50 years, and this is an efficient way to scoop up a good chunk of his work.

ReBoot was the first computer animated network series, and these episodes from its third season (1994) reveal how quickly computer visual effects has advanced. The designs look decidedly passé, and the motion-capture animation is limited and uneven. Enzo, the hero of ReBoot, is an adolescent guardian-in-training, fighting to protect the cyberworld from the evil virus Megabyte. Enzo's older sister, Dot Matrix, serves as commander of the defense forces; they both miss Bob, the hunky Guardian who disappeared at the end of the second season. Enzo's duties involve assuming roles in different games with AndrAIa, the obligatory spunky girl. The scenarios include heavy-handed send-ups of Pixar films, Warner Bros. cartoons, and the stained-glass knight in Young Sherlock Holmes. The filmmakers try to infuse these sci-fi adventures with the appeal of anime, but the timing and direction aren't strong enough to generate that level of excitement. ReBoot is more interesting as an example of early computer visual effects than as entertainment for modern kids. Although it is rated "suitable for all ages," violence, including suggestions of torture, grotesque imagery, and ethnic stereotypes, are inappropriate for children under 10. (Episodes: "To Mend and Defend," "Between a Raccoon and a Hard Place," "Firewall," and "Game Over.") --Charles Solomon

very disapointing.......2006-10-07
While I'm a great fan of reboot, my second favorite show growing up (transformers was my first), this is outrageous, to charge this sort of price for four or five episodes, and they didn't even release season 1 or 2, I would gladly pay the price there asking if it was the full season, but this isn't worth it.
Finally! *celebrates*.......2005-02-26
I've wished for this to be released for AGES! (Still wishing for the first two groundbreaking seasons, though.)
I'm so excited! The DVD is just what I expected. The series itself is as good as I remembered. As the editor of 80sCartoons.net, I have seen a lot, and I mean a LOT, of cartoons after their time, and this one is JUST as good as the first time I saw it. I can't say that of many cartoons. Only a small handful. The characters, the character development, the storylines, the humor...first class. Edgy. FUN. Yes, that's the bottom line here. It's a FUN show to watch. Isn't that the point?

If you did a little research you would find out the the 4 Vols sold on amazon are vol 1-4 of seasonIII. It is one complete season. not random episodes from different seasons. I too would gladly like to see all the seasons. But come on WHAT DID YOU EXPECT FOR about 20 bucks A WHOLE SEASON GET REAL USE YOUR BRAIN THINK. Most series that sell as whole season sell for well over 50 bucks!
Your review is incorrect and made me do research before i decided to buy. Please find all the facts before posting incorrect reviews!
Now onto the review!
Reboot is great! These 4 vols of season III are wonderful we could only hope that the first 2 seasons come out sometime in the future! Season IV is slated for later this year!
I Want Season One.......2003-09-01
I am a HUGE Reboot fan. It was a landbreaking series in digital animation. The characters were all well developed and the stories were well written. I was sad to see it get canceled and only recently learned that it had gone on to cable t.v. So I jumped at the chance to buy the entire series. I was so excited! I am sooooo disappointed that Volume One is NOT Season One. It is difficult for me to share it with others, as they have no background. Some of it is hard for me to understand too, since Bob was alive and kicking when I last saw the show.
For all the fans of this awesome series -- I ask the producers to please release Seasons 1 & 2, so our collections will be complete. This is animation history.
ReBoot for life!.......2003-04-27
The editor of this review is clearly an angry old man with no appreciation for a fun, exciting cartoon. These take place at the beginning of season three, after the web has invaded mainframe. The James Bond-style of the Firewall opening is great, as is the episode itself. "Game Over" is the definately one of the best pre-net episodes in the series. The only thing that upsets me is that there is no "volume 0" with the episodes for season one ("Opening Sequence", "Racing the Clock", "Medusa Bug", "The TIFF", and "Talent Night") or season two ("Infected", "Painted Windows", "AndrAI", "Nullzilla", "Gigabyte", "Trust No One", and "Web World Wars"). However, this DVD gets my thumbs up!

Future techies in search of screen-popping adventures souped up with the latest cyber lingo need look no farther than ReBoot: Season III, Vol. 2, (a series that airs on the Cartoon Network), which finds the formatless Matrix and AndrAIa along with their virtual pup, Frisket, fighting their way through a gamut of games, all of which have been infected by evil. The goal of the hard-bodied and green-tinged yet still good-looking pair, known among the folds of funny-looking creatures who inhabit the games as guardians, or good guys, whose job it is to "mend and defend," goes beyond superheroics. Mostly, they're interested in hopping a ride onto the Internet, where they can navigate their way back to their long lost home, Mainframe. In this endeavor, they're consistently stymied, but not much else stumps them, at least not for long. In episode 1 of this four-part tape, Icons, something suspicious is sucking the life out of a nearly defenseless system; Matrix assembles an army of R2-D2-like recruits and heads off to Chron the Destroyer where, after a successful reboot, he's able to help make repairs. From there, in Where No Sprite Has Gone Before, Number 7, and The Episode with No Name, the pair defies deletion through crash-threatening tears, identity altering reboots, superviruses, and hostage situations. Whether they'll ever make it back to Mainframe is anybody's guess, but boys and girls 8 and up whose hard drives occupy a special place in their hearts will have an "alphanumeric" time waiting to find out. --Tammy La Gorce
Description
Traveling the Games, we follow our cynical hero Matrix, once a young and energetic sprite named Enzo, and his companions AndrAIa and Frisket as they wander the Net in search of his mentor Bob and the Game Cube that will bring them home. Each time the Cube rises they find themselves in a new system where they assist other cities in defeating their fears and the User. It is the lessons Matrix learns by helping these others that ultimately convinces him to aggressively pursue his future, continue his search for Bob and finally finds him entering through a portal into the Web. Third season, episodes 5-8.

As a fan of Reboot I was thrilled that I might see the entire collection. Although DVD's are sold as Volumes they only contain a few episodes. Not near enough to enjoy the true richness of the series. When I purchased ALL 4 volumes some even purported to be "seasons" I expected to get just that. Not 4 selected epsiodes from each year. I would have GLADLY paid more to actually get what I wanted...this was only a teaser DVD...
Buy It.......2003-03-05
What can I say? I used to watch this a few years ago in the UK. However, it was taken off air because it was considered too dark for children's television. All the Episodes are Superb. The Animation is Great. The only fault with this DVD is the Extras. Considering the fact that there are onl 4 Episodes per Disc, why couldn't we get more Extras. I would have loved to see the faces behind the Characters, how Storylines are developed etc. Overall, this DVD (along with Volumes 3 & 4) is Superb.

The third season of this computer-animated series stumbles to a conclusion in these last four episodes. Despite the numerous writing credits, each episode juxtaposes long stretches of filler, where nothing really happens, with periods of frenzied but difficult-to-follow action. In "Showdown" archvillain Megabyte, who sounds like George Sanders as Shere Kahn in Disney's The Jungle Book, prepares to escape in a reddish sphere after a duel with Enzo. Mouse does something on a keyboard that causes tentacles to sprout from the sphere and destroy Megabyte. What she does and how she does it is never explained, and her preemptive strike prevents Enzo from destroying the villain, as a hero should. Simulations of Megabyte pop up in the next episode, while Bob struggles to save the cybercity, only to vanish inexplicably. The first all-computer-animated television series, Reboot inadvertently showcases the limits of the technology. The motion-capture technique gives the characters an unsettling weightless look, which robs their fights and gymnastics flips of any power. The elaborate surface patterns, brightly colored special effects, and three-dimensional camera moves can't disguise the fact that motion capture is still inferior to limited drawn animation. Rated "suitable for all ages," but violence (including suggestions of torture), grotesque imagery, and ethnic stereotypes are inappropriate for children under 10. The show played in an edited form on the Cartoon Network. --Charles Solomon

Through stormy skies and collapsed buildings, the battle for Mainframe continues as they reunite with their family and friends, overcome personal demons and find themselves face-to-face with their old enemies, Megabyte and Hexadecimal. Third season, episodes 13-16.
Customer Reviews:
very disapointing.......2006-10-07
While I'm a great fan of reboot, my second favorite show growing up (transformers was my first), this is outrageous, to charge this sort of price for four or five episodes, and they didn't even release season 1 or 2, I would gladly pay the price there asking if it was the full season, but this isn't worth it.
ReBoot: Groundbreaking and Classic.......2006-03-10
I'm more than a little amused by the Amazon review for this disk. Apparently, Mr. Solomon has never watched any of the earlier seasons of ReBoot, and is therefore completely baffled by already introduced concepts of the show. While this isn't surprising, it's ludicrous for him to be doing the reviews, at least without doing some research first. Naturally, the third season of any series that includes arcing storylines is going to seem at least a little bit inexplicable to the begining viewer.
Literary critiques aside, volume four of the third season of ReBoot is perhaps the best set of episodes in the series. It begins with "Megaframe", where the series finally returns to our home base of Mainframe, and ends with (what else?) "End Prog", resolving the main conflicts of the season 3 storyline. A great many poignant and funny moments are packed into these four episodes, and the ending is one that still gives me chills every time I watch it. This DVD may be discontinued, but do whatever it takes to see it! Better yet, send letters to ADV, Anchor Bay, and/or MFE themselves asking for a complete box set of the first three seasons. Currently, no distribution company owns the rights to the DVD distribution, so any company could buy them. Let them know we'll buy them if they come!
Amazon's review is misleading and wrong.......2004-04-03
This is a great series. But these are the last episodes of the third season and so if you have not seen the episodes before it, it might not make much sense. As for the animation, it is a major breakthrough for the time in which it was made. I know there is much better animation now, but this was made in 1997 with the best software around. Mainframe has always been ahead of other production companies and I can't wait to see what they come out with next. And Amazon, find someone who knows what they are talking about to do a review for this dvd. You might sell more of them. I definitely recommend buying this dvd, but if you are already a fan of this series, you know that.
Oh please just put out a box set of the whole thing!.......2004-03-27
I would gladly pay at least $50.00 a year for each year of this series, and probably more. C'mon, how about just releasing the entire series season by season as any classic TV show deserves.
ReBoot Rules!.......2004-03-12
ReBoot is unsurpassed. Later CGI series fell far short of this original and groundbreaking series. Bill Gates inaugerated ReBoot into the Smithsonian as the first CGI series, but it was much more than that. Great writing and wonderful charcters meant you cared about Enzo, Dot, Bob and the fate of Mainframe. ReBoot combined the heroic and humorous in an unusual and unique way. It remains a marvelous achievement and repays repeated viewing. When Disney bought ABC, ReBoot was one of the casualties, so the third season never aired in the US. That gave its Canadian creators more leeway to push the envelope, since the series didn't have to comply with network standards and practices boundaries. This resulted in an edgier, widely-praised third season, which finally aired on Cartoon Network. Now the entire third season is available on four DVDs. Own this piece of history and be part of the magnificent achievement that is ReBoot. Ask a million fans: ReBoot Reigns!

Enzo Matrix, who has grown up to be a sullen, muscular hero, continues to search for Bob, his Defender friend and hero. He's accompanied by Andraia, now a curvaceous babe in a revealing costume. They take up with Capitain Capacitator, a.k.a. Crimson Binome, a pirate of the "aargh, matey" school; his motley crew; and "web surfer" Ray Tracer, whom Matrix regards as a potential rival. As they journey through cyber-dimensions, Andraia receives a life-threatening bite from a "web creature," then Capacitator's ship, the Saucy Mare, is attacked by a host of strange-looking "Web Riders," whose leader turns out to be Bob. After reviving Andraia, Bob heads the ship back to continue the war against the evil Megabyte. The animation lacks any sense of weight--a problem with motion-capture computer graphics: despite all the elaborate visual patterns, tracking shots, and reflections, the characters move like marionettes. There are also numerous story problems: e.g. when the Saucy Mare is attacked by "pixels," the Web Riders and Tracer defeat them with some sort of light beams that are never explained. The first computer-animated network series, Reboot has its fans (thanks in part to the show's exposure on the Cartoon Network), who are the obvious audience for this disc. Contains these episodes: 9. "The Return of the Crimson Binome," 10. "Edge of Beyond," 11. "Web Riders on the Storm/Interface," 12. "Mousetrap." Rated "suitable for all ages," but violence and grotesque imagery are inappropriate for children under 8. --Charles Solomon
Description
Accompanied by a ship of software pirates he has sprung from prison, Matrix's quest takes him into high adventure in the uncharted reaches of the Web. Join Matrix, AndrAIa, Frisket and the mysterious Web Surfer as they head into battle with the Web Creatures they encounter. As the Web threatens everything around him, Matrix completes the first leg of his journey and is reunited with his mentor and long lost friend, Bob. Somehow they all have to work together to find a way out of the Web and back to Mainframe. Third season, episodes 9-12.

Gotta comment on the "Editorial Review".......2004-04-12
ReBoot has never use motion capture for animation.... Mainframe Inc didn't start using that technology until (much) later- shortly after they finished season 4 IIRC.
Aside from the (very minor) reduction in realism this causes, ReBoot seasons 3 and 4 are still some of the best animation Mainframe has done IMO.
Reboot Taken off UK TV.......2003-03-02
Just out of interest. Reboot was taken off air in the UK because it was considered too dark for Children!! It used to come on around 4pm.
Everybody's gone surfin', surfin' USB.......2003-02-15
Third of four season three DVD's, The Web maintains the overall quality that was the hallmark of the previous episodes.
The Web is darker in tone than the other DVD's in season three, due to AndrAIa's condition and the foreboding abyss that is the Web, according to the ReBoot universe. Still, some humor is to be found. Look for the cook binome peeling potatoes for the entire DVD, and keep a sharp eye for the cargo (Yo ho ho and a barrel of ROM, etc)
If there is a gripe to be had here, it's that Bob's voice has changed. I suppose we could rationalize this by his degradation in the web, but I still preferred the original voice acting from the first two seasons. He was much more expressive, and the voice just seemed to fit better. No matter, it's a trivial point.
Good anime.......2002-09-28
i would give 5 star.. good anime, no regret on the purchase.

Sony PlayStation Monster Rancher fans, prepare to enter the game world! In this animated video, Genki wins a Monster Rancher tournament, receives a "Monster 200X" CD-ROM as a prize, slips it into his player, and is magically sucked into the Monster Rancher world. Bragging to Holly that he's a game expert, Genki facilitates her escape from the Black Dino Squad. Holly reveals Moo's plot to conquer her world and describes her quest to defeat Moo by finding the mystery disk that contains the Phoenix. Genki inserts his own CD-ROM into the shrine and it unlocks not the Phoenix, but a cute, perpetually hungry little monster he names Mocchi. In "I'm Mocchi," Holly's magic stone leads the foursome deep into a forest amid a terrible storm in search of another mystery disk. When Genki, Holly, Mocchi, and Suezo come to a fork in the road in "Guardian of the Disks," they are told to beware of the enigma that lives in the forest ahead. Guided by Holly's stone, they persevere and discover a graveyard of old disks guarded by a friendly stone monster named Golem. When Golem defeats the evil blue Gel army, Genki and Holly invite him to join their continuing quest to release the Phoenix. This video--and TV series--bears marked resemblance to the Pokémon series and, although slightly less skillfully animated, it is sure to appeal to a whole generation of gamers and animation fans. Parents concerned about violence should, of course, be vigilant. (Ages 5-10) --Tami Horiuchi

THIS IS THE BEST ANIME SHOW EVER!!!!!!!!.......2004-04-15
I absolutely love this show! Anyone who is into anime should definetly see it! All the monsters are sooo cool!
this show is great.......2004-04-07
i really like this show. i haven't seen it in a long time, but it is one of the best shows aimed for a younger audience that i've seen. monster rancher may not interest those who are way into the major bloody fight seens, but it is perfect for the younger viewers out there.
How many have YOU unlocked?.......2003-03-17
Monster Rancher, yet another Pokemon/Digimon clone? Not hardly. Monster Rancher stands by itself and isn't a clone of anything. Genki wins a contest and gets a new game for his PlayStation in the mail. He plays the game to watch a girl and a monster run away from the Black Dino troops. She enters a shrine (although, the game calls it a "ruined temple") and unlocks a disk. Instead of unlocking a monster, Genki is pulled into the weird world and makes friends with Holly and her monster!
I haven't heard of the Monster Rancher video game until I saw the series. I watched it on TV...but soon lost track of it.
Monster Rancher.......2002-04-25
I must say, I originally thought this series would be yet another Pokémon/Digimon clone. I was wrong. This series teaches the fundamentals friendship along with the obvious good versus evil. The best part about Monster Rancher is that is actually a 'closed' story line with a great conclusion. Not all of the episodes are available for purchase yet, but they are worth collecting.
Really, really 0 stars for this anime........2001-02-24
This cartoon is the most bothering anime I had ever seen, is worser than Digimon, the hole cartoon really really bothers me, it's dumb, stupid and boring.

Monster Ranger -- Anime "Mon" Continues.......2000-06-13
In the tradition of Pokemon and Digimon, we can now watch Monster Rancher. If you have a Pokemon or Digimon fan at home, they will enjoy Monster Ranger just as much. Our new hero, Genki (which means energy, and he's full of it) is mystically transformed to the world of Monster Ranger while playing the new "Monster Ranger 200x" on his Sony Playstation. He joins a party of monsters and a fellow human (girl -- can't recall her name) to find the mystical Pheonix monster who will turn all the bad monsters, ruled by the evil Mu, into good monsters. There's enough variety and uniqueness for any "Mon" fan to enjoy these. In the second DVD, the party gathers new allies during various adventures. I recommend the actual Sony Playstation (Monster Ranger 2) game as well.

Together with his robot sister Roll, and their faithful cyber-pooch Rush, Megaman jets into battle with fists and plasma-bolts flying! Watch them take on the meanest bunch of bionic fiends this side of the future, including the scissor-headed Cutman, the brawny Gutsman, and Megaman's own robot brother Protoman, who's vowed to turn our hero to the dark side or take him out of commission... permanently.

This show is so cool.......2005-11-20
I remember watching this show as a kid and thinking "I WISH I WAS MEGA MAN! POW POW BANG! YOUR DEAD STUPID ROBOT!" When I put this DVD in my player, I had the same feelings. Megaman will always have a special place in me, because he's so cool. When have you ever gone out against a maniacal scientist genius and an army of giant killer robots armed only with a buster cannon and stupid puns? Megaman has. He kicks those robots cold hard metal rears, and then STEALS THEIR POWERS! The sheer madness of it is great! I dont watch this show because im looking to find something that will get an award, I'm looking for a completely stupid anime show with terrible jokes and robot smashin' action. Megaman will always be one of my heroes and a source of mindless entertainment.
okay this is an okay show.......2005-10-25
1.okay this is based off of megaman 1-4 or 5 and 1 epsiode of based off of megaman X
2.okay i think the reason they did not make Megaman 6 7 8 and 9 an amie was becasue the show ended when Megaman 5 was still out i think i mean it would be nice to see Bass Duio Trouble and Centuro Man and Sword man but ahhh somethings come to a braking point look at fatal fury they didnt Relse Road to Victory and Mark of the wolfs amie evan thought those were the only 2 left why i dont know i dont care
A beautifully mindless experience with dashes of Mega-niftiness........2005-08-27
Sure, you kids have your fancy-schmancy Megaman: NT Warrior (or Battle Network Rockman.Exe for you darned Japanophiles) with its high-tech computer graphics and its God Almighty budget animation, but when I was a kid, I had the REAL Megaman cartoon to watch. And frankly, I feel you're all deprived.
Y'see, the original Megaman cartoon had in its favor an unidentifiable charm to it, a charm that anime usually lacks. While Megaman: NT Warrior may have a running storyline, the original cartoon had the basic US cartoon premise of "bad guy attacks, good guy smacks bad guy, cue canned laughter, roll credits"; a feature that I feel we should see more of. While I enjoy coherent storytelling, sometimes I just want to sit down and watch something I *know* is stupid. Sometimes I wanna see laughably bad jokes and mindless animated violence. Sometimes I want to see goofy robots get their titanium backsides handed to them while watching the hero make sarcastic comments about just how awesome he really is at doing his job. You certainly won't find THAT in your anime, kiddies.
Sure, it's not exactly always accurate to the games, but who are we to complain? It's not as if the games were literary masterpieces to begin with, so one shouldn't hope for Shakespeare when watching this, or any other cartoon for that matter.
I highly suggest this DVD, people; it's got fair-to-great animation, great voice acting done by the Ocean group, and many, MANY bad jokes that'll make you roll in laughter for the wrong reasons. Also, they made Roll hot. What's there to lose?
The Japanese drawn the characters but the American's wrote it........2005-08-21
Megaman should be megaboy cause really his human living tissue looks like a boy and his size and voice. Megaman is a robot who saves the world from the evil Dr. Wily who creates robots to take over the world. Megaman had sidekicks his robot sister Roll and a robot dog Rush.
Maybe 2.5 Stars for Fond Memories.......2005-04-16
I love Mega Man, and I loved this show when it first aired in 1994. And I was stoked when I first got my hands on this 3-disc DVD set. However, that elation didn't last all that long.
What it boils down to is that it's kids' stuff, and I'm not a kid anymore. And I wince when I hear the heroes spouting off cliche one-liners so frequently that James Bond himself wouldn't be able to stomach it.
On the other hand, the cool factor remains--seeing the robot masters that I loved so much in my youth on the tube still remains a treat. For that reason, I don't regret owning this set. And I don't think any Mega Man fan would. But nevertheless, before you buy, just remember that my disposition is sentimental, and has nothing to do with these Mega Man episodes being of high quality...because in all honesty, they really aren't.
