I remember seeing these movies when I was growing up in the sixties. I really thought that Francis could talk (I was Six or Seven). I could not wait for these movies to be on TV again. WELL, as I grew up I never saw Francis again. Then my wife was on Amazon one day and told me about these movies, I looked it up and sure enough these were the same movies I watched growing up. I purchased the DVD and when I received it I immediately made popcorn for the whole family and we sat and watched the whole DVD. My Four(4) kids love it. I'll always have a place in my heart for "Francis the talking mule". And now, so will my kids.

These old films really do bring back many child-hood memories of the old movie marathons they used to play. Francis movies were always a part of these events.

Films that were made in the 1940's have a certain innocents about them and these films demonstrate that through the characters.

I had alot of fun watching these. Some of the one liner's spoken by Francis are classics.

My 9 year old son loves these movies. I was excited that all the movies were on one DVD. The only thing I didn't like was that they are all in Black & White. Some of the VHS tapes we have with Francis are in color. Overall, great buy.
