The Alien Quadrilogy is a nine-disc boxed set devoted to the four Alien films. Although previously available on DVD as the Alien Legacy, here they have been repackaged with vastly more extras and with upgraded sound and picture. For anyone who hasn't been in hypersleep for the last 25 years, this series needs no introduction, though for the first time each film now comes in both original and "special edition" form.
Alien (1979) was so perfect it didn't need fixing, and Ridley Scott's 2003 director's cut is fiddling for the sake of fiddling. Watch it once, then return to the majestic, perfectly paced original. Conversely, the special edition of James Cameron's Aliens (1986) is the definitive version, though it's nice to finally have the theatrical cut on DVD for comparison. Most interesting is the alternative Alien 3 (1992). This isn't a "director's cut"--David Fincher refused to have any involvement with this release--but a 1991 work-print that runs 29 minutes longer than the theatrical version, and has now been restored, remastered, and finished off with (unfortunately) cheap new CGI. Still, it's truly fascinating, offering a different insight into a flawed masterpiece. The expanded opening is visually breathtaking, the central firestorm is much longer, and a subplot involving Paul McGann's character adds considerable depth to story. The ending is also subtly but significantly different. Alien: Resurrection (1997) always was a mess with a handful of brilliant scenes, and the special edition just makes it eight minutes longer.
The Alien Quadrilogy offers the first and fourth films with DTS soundtracks, the others having still fine Dolby Digital 5.1 presentation. All four films sound fantastic, with much low-level detail revealed for the first time. Each is anamorphically enhanced at the correct original aspect ratio, and the prints and transfers are superlative. Every film offers a commentary track that lends insight into the creative process--though the Scott-only commentary and isolated music score from the first Alien DVD release are missing here.
Each movie is complemented by a separate disc packed with hours of seriously detailed documentaries (all presented in full-screen with clips letterboxed), thousands of photos, production stills, and storyboards, giving a level of inside information for the dedicated buff only surpassed by the Lord of the Rings extended DVD sets. A ninth DVD compiles miscellaneous material, including an hourlong documentary and even all the extras from the old Alien laserdisc. "Exhaustive" hardly beings to describe the Alien Quadrilogy, a set that establishes the new DVD benchmark for retrospective releases and looks unlikely to be surpassed for some time. --Gary S. Dalkin

Chest Bursting Goodness .......2007-06-27
Quality...If you are a fan of the Alien movies look no further... This is a really cool collection of these movies and I am glad waited to buy this collection... Lots of cool extras and tons of new scenes to watch if you select the directors cuts of each film.
Nice!
It's all here!.......2007-06-27
For die-hard fans of Alien, like me, this set is a godsend. The bonus minutes on each disk really add to the story. I was never a huge fan of Alien Resurrection but even the bonus features for this installment of the Alien legacy were awesome.
The minutes added to the first movie, Alien, shows what actually happened to Dallas and Brett. The additional footage on Aliens shows Newt and her parents prior to the Alien invasion. Alien 3 bonus footage adds more to the plot and suspense. As for Alien Resurrection, like I said, wasn't one of the better Alien movies but any set wouldn't be complete without it.
A Must Have For Any Alien Fan.......2007-05-23
I have been a fan of the Alien movies since I was a kid. I never got to see any in theaters except for Alien Resurection. This is a great set and each movie has extended or deleted scenes added to the films. The first two, Alien and Aliens are great classic movies and the extended scenes make the classics that much better. The final two, Alien 3 and Alien Resurection are the mos underated in my opinion. Alien 3 was a great movie but has alot more cursing than the other three but it fits considering it is set in a prison. There was a bunch deleted from this film and it really adds alot to it as several key scenes are completly different and make more sense IMO. The only issue is that the added scenes have degraded over time and some of the dialouge was unusable so at times the audio is hard to hear, but it is still very interesting to watch. Alien Resurection was the most underated of the four and while it's not the best it is still a good movie. The added scenes really make it that much better. The special features on all of these movies are imense and this is one set that is a must buy for Alien fans and science fiction lovers.
Warning: compression problems.......2007-05-19
Warning for potential buyers... the cd of Alien 4 is full of compression errors and won't even play on my dvd player. I managed to start the movie by scene jumping, but halfway through on a scene jump the movie stalled, dumping me into a "dvd video compression" screen, and I could not access anything beyond this point.
I don't know if I have a defective cd or if there are scores of compression problems with this product.
Caveat emptor.
A must have!.......2007-05-15
This is a fabulous boxed set, especially if you can get it at a decent price. It is available on-line and in some shops at very comptetitive prices.
Alien and Aliens are already classics (as everybody knows) and merit repeated viewings.
The 3rd and 4th are not up to the same standard but have their moments.
There are 9 DVD's in total.
Disc 1 contains both versions of Alien + Commentaries
Disc 2 contains documentaries on Alien
Disc 3 contains both versions of Aliens + Commentaries
Disc 4 contains documentaries on Aliens
I have watched these and they are very good. Especially in relation to creating the special effects and James Cameron working in the UK at Pinewood (there were problems - indeed almost a strike!).
Disc 5 contains both versions of Alien3 + Commentaries
Disc 6 contains documentaries on Alien3
I have watched some of this and there is some fascinating information on the original script and director.
Disc 7 contains both versions of Alien Resurrection + Commentary
Disc 8 contains documentaries on Alien Resurrection
Disc 9 More Extras
All in all a superb set to get.

Customer Reviews:
Underappreciated and underrated........2007-06-26
Poorly received upon release, and long despised for the deaths of beloved characters, Alien 3 was plagued by script troubles, personnel changes, and time constraints due to excessive meddling by Fox.
Into this mess stepped David Fincher (Fight Club, Se7en), in his directorial debut on a feature film. Harassed and bullied to no end by studio execs, Fincher ended up walking off after the end of principal photography and what was released in theaters was a butchered remnant of a brilliant film. The release of the Alien Quadrilogy returns to the Alien fan an Assembly Cut (Fincher was still too bitter to work on a Director's Cut) of what was close to Fincher's original vision of the film.
Definitely skip straight to the Assembly Cut. It will be well worth your time. Whereas Cameron's Special Edition of Aliens ends up overlong and many additions unneeded or damaging to the pacing (I can hear the cries of "Blasphemy!" now), the thirty three minute increase in length is a profound improvement to Alien 3; almost a whole new movie. This is what a "special edition" of a movie should be. Characters are fleshed out, confusing parts of the plot explained as important scenes are restored or extended, and Fincher's directorial genius better felt.
A powerful story of redemption and sacrifice, Alien 3 is filled with all of the compelling imagery of Fincher's later work. Alien 3, aside from the creature special effects, stands as the most darkly beautiful of the Alien films, and the most visually breathtaking. Here, finally, the true strength of Sigourney Weaver's acting prowess can be felt in a story with real meat. The depth of the character Ripley can be more fully appreciated, and her final scene now carries the meaning it was intended to have; a true choice between sacrifice and tainted salvation. Elliott Goldenthal's score remains phenomenal. What we are given in the Assembly Cut is a third sequel that easily stands as an equal to the first two films, if not as the best picture in the series and what should have been a most fitting end to a trilogy.
If you've not seen this movie in a long time, do yourself a favor and pick up this DVD, or the Quadrilogy boxed set (though nobody will fault you if you skip on Resurrection). It will certainly change your entire perspective on the film, and perhaps the entire series.
Start Running For Your Lives, Again..........2007-06-10
After 20th Century Fox achieved great success with their sci-fi/horror classic "Alien" directed by Ridley Scott, and gained even greater success with the follow-up effort "Aliens" from director James Cameron, it had to be a virtual no-brainer to move forward on a third installment on the budding franchise. Enter relatively new director David Fincher (the third director for the franchise) who had the misfortune of trying to meet the expectations of the fans, but also that of the studio based on the first two films quality and success. However, success for Fincher and his film "Alien 3" was going to be relatively hard to come by as the studio reportedly tampered repeatedly with the script to where the cast and crew never knew from day to day what the overall story would be for the film. This no doubt would make for a daunting task for any director, and an extremely uncomfortable and unsettling experience for a newcomer who could possibly destroy a franchise with one stinker of a movie.
"Alien 3" finds our tough-as-nails heroine Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) crash landing on Fiorina 161, a maximum-security prison planet. Upon recovering from her harrowing experience during the last film, Ripley begins to suspect that there may have been another alien hidden onboard her ship. Her fears soon become realized when the convicts that populate this dreary planet begin to meet gruesome fates, leaving Ripley with the one option that she knows all to well, face down the creature before it's too late. As if the alien running loose wasn't enough to contend with Ripley is being plagued by a nightmare that she may have an alien inside of her body, but is it merely her mind playing tricks on her or is it a frightening reality?
So after two highly successful entries under this franchise's belt, would "Alien 3" be another terrific installment and make itself yet another success story for the executives at Fox to boast about or would it be devastating blow to a franchises future possibilities? The answer, much to the dismay of director David Fincher (though not really to his surprise), "Alien 3" proved to be the least successful entry in the franchise and one that makes the audience wonder if this is a series that has already reached its peak potential.
The story was an interesting one, and full of potential if handled properly; however, the reported tinkering by the studio (a concept that is hardly foreign in Hollywood) would cause this film to fall flat on its face in a heaping pile of unused potential and disappointment. There are some neat elements to the story, the cameo appearance of Bishop (Lance Henriksen) and the final scene with Sigourney Weaver's Ripley coming to a shocking conclusion as to what she must do to save the remaining convicts of the planet are the biggest highlights of the film. In the director's defense, he did film some other exciting scenes that did make it into a type of director's cut that was released to DVD, and the scenes though not all finished show how much better the film could have been if Fincher had been given a proper chance to make it right.
The cast of the film, led once again by Sigourney Weaver (who seemed a bit bored in this installment), was relatively strong. Though one does miss the energy of Bill Paxton and the intensity of Michael Biehn, but Lance Henriksen's appearance does help the proceedings. The special effects were good, though not heavily relied upon, it appeared that Fincher was attempting to go for atmosphere much like Ridley Scott did with the original film; sadly the sets used to create the prison were too much alike and the shadows caused the audience (being me) to be confused as to what the difference was between different locations. Leaving me to wonder at times which characters were where and who exactly was in danger of becoming the latest prey for the alien.
The movie could have been another great entry into the franchise, but studio tinkering and too much confusion led to "Alien 3" not quite living up to the expectations of the fans and a less successful stint at the box office.
"Alien 3" is rated R for violence and language.
This movie ruined the entire series!.......2007-06-02
I watched this movie at the theaters when I was a kid and I was a big fan of Aliens (2). I collected the Aliens 2 model kits, the Aliens movie poster, I collected the Dark Horse published Aliens comic book as a kid, played the Aliens arcade games, and Aliens vs Predator PC Games (later on as a college student). Aliens 3 ruined the entire series. They did not have to kill off Newt, Bishop, and Corporal Hicks. That is the worst thing to have happened in this movie. Everything that Ripley did in the Aliens (2) was in vane. I agree that this is a slap in the face to James Cameron's last movie. Other people here giving this movie 3, 4 or 5 stars is just mind-boggling. This is a good example of what happens when some greedy studio executives (who doesn't have a clue and are only interested in making money through sequels) dictate how a movie should be made instead of the director himself. I hope those Fox executives got fired for ruining this series. I know it's not the director's fault (David Fincher) but they should have let Ridley Scott and/or James Cameron continue directing this series since the first two movies was their baby. Maybe they could have used the Aliens comic book mini-series published by Dark Horse to make an off shoot script for the movie. Or they could have stopped at Aliens 2 and gone on with Aliens vs Predator with Ridley Scott and/or James Cameron maybe directing it.
David Fincher destroys the Alien franchise.......2007-05-31
Alien (1979) and Aliens (1986) are among the best action/horror/sci-fi films ever made, the first being a claustrophobic nightmare of a movie and the second being a thrilling, action-packed sequel that continued and built upon the themes introduced in the first. And then, David Fincher ruined the whole series within the first fifteen minutes of Alien 3.
Actually, I like quite a bit of Fincher's work, especially Seven and Fight Club, but Alien 3 might be the most disappointing sequel of all time, systematically destroying every element that made Aliens one of the best. First, he kills off Hicks, Newt, and Bishop, wasting the talents of the three actors as well as obliterating the surrogate mother and man vs. machine themes of Aliens. Those characters were half the reason that Aliens was so great. Then, he compounds the issue by having Ripley attend Newt's autopsy without shedding so much as a single tear. The rest of the film plays out with Ripley and the prisoners fighting against a quadruped alien, without the aid of any weapons. The idea of Ripley carrying a queen alien and throwing herself to her death to keep the queen out of the hands of the Company was a fine, powerful ending to the series, but Fincher destroyed the possibility of any human drama about her demise; all the characters that she cared about have already gone before her.
Yes, I've heard that Fincher does not deserve all the blame, and yes, I know that Fox ruthlessly shredded his ideas and stole the film from right under his nose, but honestly, nothing in Alien 3 could redeem the first fifteen minutes of the film. It's like a slap in the face; everything that happened in Aliens didn't matter in the slightest, and it does not improve on the ideas of the first two, not once, throughout the whole film, right up until the poetic finale. And that isn't nearly enough to make Alien 3 a good, or even worthwhile film. Rewatching it recently has only confirmed that in my mind.
Liked it alot, should've stoped here........2007-05-26
I believe the title of this review says it all. Looking back on it this movie would've been an awesome way to end this franchise. Oh well...

This freewheeling parody tosses horror movies, Eminem, The Matrix, and much more into a cinematic blender. Scary Movie 3 centers around Cindy (Anna Faris, Lost in Translation), a bubble-headed young newscaster who believes that a deadly videotape has some mysterious connection to the aliens who've been making crop circles in the cornfield of a local farmer (Charlie Sheen, Young Guns), whose brother (Simon Rex) hopes to win a local rap contest. Along for the ride are Queen Latifah, George Carlin, Anthony Anderson, Pamela Anderson, Jenny McCarthy, Jeremy Piven, Camryn Manheim, Ja Rule, dozens of rap stars, and Leslie Nielsen as the President of the U.S. No need to have seen the first two Scary Movie flicks--though a few of the characters recur, the movie leapfrogs from gag to goofy gag, plundering The Ring, Signs, and The Others as needed. Silly and slapdash, but with a decent dose of laughs. --Bret Fetzer

The least successful film in this series was directed by stylemaster (and content-underachiever) David Fincher. Ripley, the only survivor of her past mission, awakens on a prison planet in the far corners of the solar system. As she tries to recover, she realizes that not only has an alien gotten loose on the planet, the alien has implanted one of its own within her. As she battles the prison authorities (and is aided by the prisoners) in trying to kill the alien, she must also cope with a distinctly shortened lifespan that awaits her. But the striking imagery makes for muddled action and the script confuses it further. The ending looks startling but it takes a long time--and a not particularly satisfying journey--to get there. --Marshall Fine
Description
Lt. Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) is the lone survivor when her crippled spaceship crash lands on Fiorina 161, a bleak wasteland inhabited by former inmates of the planet's maximum security prison. Ripley's fears that an Alien was aboard her craft are confirmed when the mutilated bodies of ex-cons begin to mount. Without weapons or modern technology of any kind, Ripley must lead the men into battle against the terrifying creature. And soon she discovers a horrifying fact about her link with the Alien, a realization that may compel Ripley to try destroying not only the horrific creature but herself as well.

(a marital disaster)
With square crop circles in his field
And a girl drowned in a well
Charlie's got real problems
And he's seen his share of hell
One thing about this movie
It'll never leave you cold
It even has three stars who made

Critters 3 (1991).......2005-12-31
Director: Kristine Peterson
Cast: John Calvin, Aimee Brooks, Christian Cousins, Joseph Cousins, William Dennis Hunt, Nina Axelrod, Leonardo DiCaprio, Don Keith Opper.
Running Time: 86 minutes
Rated PG-13 for violence and mild language.
"Critters 3" starts on the open road as Clifford (John Calvin) his teenage daughter Annie (Aimee Brooks) & his young son Johnny are heading back home from a vacation. Suddenly the tyre on their van blows & they have to stop at a public rest area to fix it. While there Annie and Johnny meet a kid named Josh (Leonardo DiCaprio in his Hollywood debut) who in turn all run into Charlie McFadden (the films co-producer Don Keith Opper) from the previous two "Critters" films. Charlie tells them the story of the Krites and the town of Grovers Bend but they don't believe him, meanwhile back at the van a critter lays some eggs on it's underside, out of sight from everyone. Once Clifford has fixed the tyre the trio set off for their home, a run down urban tenement block in Los Angeles somewhere complete with Critter eggs along for the ride. Upon arrival the eggs hatch & the Critters head straight inside the tenement block quickly disposing of Frank (Geoffrey Blake), the caretaker. As the night draws on the few remaining residents, a fat woman named Rosalie (Diana Bellamy), a telephone repair woman Marsha (Katherine Cortez), an elderly couple Mr. (Bill Zuckert) & Mrs. Menges (Frances Bay) must come together with Clifford & his kids to fight the Critters. Josh also makes an appearance as his Stepfather (William Dennis Hunt) owns the building. But will the group be able to defeat the Critters & prevent themselves from becoming dinner?
Let's be honest, no one say to be shocked to discover this is a cheap little film that doesn't have too much going for it. The plot is the usual: people hunted by critters, this time in a building so it's like "Die Hard" with aliens. Sadly the action is poor, it's not really gorym and the critter attacks are always more funny than thrilling. There is no real excitement or tension and it's all a bit predictable The supposed comedy is nowhere near the one it aspires to (Joe Dante's "Gremlins") and really the funniest bit is how silly the whole thing is. Needless to say the acting is poor and some people can't even be mauled convincingly; however, it is interesting to see DiCaprio's debut, even if he looks about 9 years old! Overall, "Critters 3" is a ridiculous bit of dumb fun that is daft and slightly shoddy, not nearly living up to the previous two installments in the series. It may just pass the time but there are much better horror/comedies out there if you want them.
Good but not perfect.......2005-10-25
This one does not have a lot of action in it. A very low death count. Don Opper is a minor characters in this one only appearing at the very begining and very end of the film. Also appearing in this movie in his film debut is a tennage Lenodarno Di Caprio. He has a minor rule also.
Once again the krites apperance has changed. They do not look the same.
This one is more humorous. There is a gag in this similar to in gremlins where the krites our in a dark room but instead of watching Snow White there watching a demonstration on how to prepare chicken.
There are fewer subtitles in this than in the original for the krites. We she a new ability of the krites in this film. When I danger they can let off this loud wobbling cry that is so intense in puitch it can shatter glass. I thought the crystal that glowed when the krites where near by was cool.
I thought the part when charile charges the krite and grabes it and falls of the top of the roof was funny. The part when the krites are tearing up the old couples apartment and scarfying down one there beans. One off the krites chugs down some dish soap. The fire work krite gag was the funnest gag in the movie. If you like this one I recommend the others. If you want lots of action I recommend the first and the second only.
Critters are now under rated beasties........2005-02-25
A little under rated. The critters find they're way into an apartment building, wreck havoc, eat some jerks, attack some people, burp and fart up a storm, raid the kithen, and even oprea sing! Loads of fun, but could of had better actors and the awesome origenal Critters score. Then I'd give it 5/5. The script was pretty goofy too. And whats up with Charlie doing the Tarzan thing? Jeez. Still could have been much worse.
Get rid of the Charlie character........2005-02-15
They really should make another CRITTERS movie. With a proper budget, a good script and a dedicated director one solidly entertaining movie could reenergize the whole franchise and take it to a new level. The most important change that needs to be made is you have to get rid of the goofy Charlie character. He was in all four movies and sucked in all four movies. Also make the movies much darker, without so much story and you've got a hit.
As far a Part 3 goes some Krites invade a small apartment building and chase people all around but only kill two people. It's entertaining, but at the same time disappointing. The story goes nowhere, the direction is strictly by the numbers and of course you got the goofy dude showing up and slowing down the story. There is a lot of wasted potential here.
The one and only reason this movie is in my collection is because this is one of the earliest starring roles for Aimee Brooks, who is now legal and very sexy. If you don't believe me just watch MONSTER MAN.
Could have been better!.......2004-08-09
I thought this was an ok sequel but not as good as the first 2 films. I think there should not have been any more sequels after 2 because it ended really well. This one could have been a little better and the same thing goes for part 4. The only good part of 3 is when they show Charlie, the rest of the movie is kind of boring. I own all 4 of these films on dvd and even recommend this one to add to your collection.

good episodes but alittle goofed up!.......2006-06-21
ok 4kidstv goofed up "space invaders" because at the end on TMNT 3: mutant nightmare zanramon is in a huge robot suit and the turtles have to fight him and blow him up!!but here he just gets arrested and thrown in a prison cell next to general blanque!they also completely left out the huge alien cat thing from the game that they fight in the sewers but oh well the episodes are still interesting.
These episodes are OUT OF ORDER!!!!!.......2006-05-10
Don't you just hate when DVD sets contain out of order episodes? Exactly what is the point of that? The space episodes themselves are lackluster, but that is not my beef.
This DVD includes "The Lesson" and "Hunted," which absolutely do not belong on this disc and "Hunted" only serves to confuse those who saw what happened to Leatherhead some episodes before. As you can see from my list of shows IN ORDER like it's supposed to be, this disc and the disc that follows (3.2) is severely flawed:
Episode 53: The Christmas Aliens
Episode 54: Space Invaders Part One
Episode 55: Space Invaders Part Two
Episode 56: Space Invaders Part Three
Episode 57: Worlds Collide Part One
Episode 58: Worlds Collide Part Two
Episode 59: Worlds Collide Part Three
Episode 60: Touch and Go
Episode 61: Hunted
Episode 62: H.A.T.E.
Episode 63: Nobody's Fool
Episode 64: New Blood
Episode 65: The Lesson
Episode 66: The Darkness Within
Episode 67: Mission of Gravity
Episode 68: The Entity Below
Episode 69: Time Travails
Episode 70: Hun on the Run
Episode 71: Reality Check
Episode 72: Across the Universe
Episode 73: Same As It Never Was
Episode 74: The Real World Part One
Episode 75: The Real World Part Two
Episode 76: Bishop's Gambit
Episode 77: Exodus Part One
Episode 78: Exodus Part Two
Next time learn that B comes after A, not C!!
The Triceratons are back, and this time they're invading Earth!.......2006-05-08
Prime Leader Zanrumon still has his sights set on the Fugitoid, and now he's planning a massive invasion of Earth to find him. He's pulling out all the stops, and he'll stop at nothing until he finds the robot. Now its up to the turtles to fight off this assault. Not only to the green teens have to face a full scale invasion, but the sinister Agent Bishop is introduced in this episode as well. What is his agenda? Well, I know, but I don't want to spoil anything for you guys who haven't watched season three or four yet. If you haven't, where ya been? Oh well, just buy it.
This five episode Dvd also includes The Lesson in which the toddler turtles must help a young boy face a few bullys. Hunted is also included as well. Leatherhead must evade a croc hunter, and the turtles must assist him. So you defenatly don't wanna miss this one. Buy it!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Ways of the Warrior #3.1 - Alien Invasion.......2005-10-12
Recommended international seller. Good packing and fast shipping.
Another Great TMNT DVD!.......2005-03-11
I happened to snag this early, and found that it has 5 episodes.
Along with the 3-Parter "Space Invaders" [mentioned by the other reviewer], the DVD also includes "The Lesson" (a cute ep., with another flashback look at the young Turtles), and "Hunted" (another great Leatherhead-centered episode).

Without question, 3-D technology has come a long way since the days of red and green cardboard glasses, and Alien Adventure offers ample proof. This roughly 30-minute feature--also available in The Ultimate 3-D Collection, which includes two other films and the H3D "i-glasses" hardware needed to generate the 3-D imaging--tells the story of alien pioneers inadvertently discovering Earth through a high-tech amusement park. The story is mindless, but the sense of depth conveyed here is quite convincing, especially during the many point-of-view sequences. The image and color resolution of the digital animation leaves much to be desired, however, proving unrewarding in 2-D.
That said, certain sequences shine, most notably a lengthy slide through an arctic wonderland of vast nighttime icescapes and narrow roads through head-spinning chasms. The sound is well above average, enhancing the sense of real-life depth with seamless DTS surround mixes that work well even in headphones. --Michael Mikesell
Customer Reviews:
Engaging for kids, but adults too.......2005-07-21
I had viewed Alien Adventure on an HD channel I get and found it to be a total blast. I have no children and viewed it alone, but I know from expierence with nieces and a nephew that the younger set would enjoy watching the antics of the aliens visiting an unopened theme park and mistaking it for the way the whole planet earth is!
The animation is top quality, but the sharpness and clarity usually found in animation films is not of the best quality on the disk. I did not view the 3-D version since I did not have the equipment to do so. (You will need more than a pair of 3-D glasses)
The other con is it is way too short, only 33 minutes. I was eager for more and when viewed on TV it seemed longer.
All in all, though, a treat for young and old.
A wonderful effort!.......2005-07-11
O.k. look.....if you are watching or thinking of watching Alien Adventure in 2-D, you are really just wasting your time. This movie is enhanced 3Xfold by viewing it in 3d--and it is simply amazing!
Alien Adventure is the funnest DVD I own (and I have 100's), simply because of its amazing 3d effects.
Lights off, stereo sound cranked up, and with LCD glasses on, Alien Adventure is quite a crazy ride. Rollercoaster rides through the Arctic and Prehistoric times are simply spellbinding; as is also a GREAT trip through a child's bedroom filled with all sorts of toys, gadgets, and gizmos.
The story is not the point of Alien Adventure (although it is a simple fun tale), as it is all about showcasing the latest in computer animated and digital 3D.
A fantastic job all the way around! I can not wait for similar movies to be released!!
These 3d short movies are the future of home entertainment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent in 2D.......2005-07-04
I bought this DVD because it was listed as an IMAX title, but it is also 3D if you buy the special glasses from the manufacturer(regular 3D glasses dont work with this title). The quality of the graphics are terrific, the plot is a little strange, but basically its aliens who invade and ride 4 virtual roller coasters at a futuristic theme park. The rides are pretty good and the concept and setting behind each coaster is unique. My kids love this DVD, and its worth the price!
(Buy it from the new & used section and you can get it for around $3.50 plus shipping)
Yawn!.......2004-02-02
Don't buy this DVD.It's horrible!!!The 3-D effects are bad.I'm saying DON'T BUY THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing 3d.......2003-01-16
Amazing DTS surround sound and stunning computer graphics easliy make this title the best dvd I own. Hats off to the design team, I can not wait for additional similar titles to be released.
p.s. skip the 3d horror collection - horrible sounds,
3d effects and story.

Description
Space technology transfer consultant and former rocket whiz kid David Adair speaks out for the first time on camera in this interview about his remarkable encounters with an alien engine, DOD agents, and Air Force General Curtis Lemay in 1971 at Groom Lake, Nevada.
Hear first hand testimony about advanced alien technology and our military's most closely guarded secrets surrounding the UFO phenomena.
Adair explains how at age 17 he built an electro-magnetic containment plasma fusion rocket engine and was invited by Air Force bigwigs to launch it at White Sands. That led to his being taken to Area 51 where he saw an engine that was light years beyond anything on Earth - so sophisticated it responded to the thoughts and emotions of it's pilots.
Now, comfortable with the way UFO information is starting to be accepted by the American public, Adair has decided to reveal the amazing truth which he held to himself for 25 years.
Also revealed are his meetings with renowned physicist Stephan Hawkings.
Customer Reviews:
The guy is a fraud.......2007-03-17
Let me mention that I personaly observed a UFO close-up - so no doubts there in general and I am usually quite generous with bending science, but this is DVD just too much: this guy knows nothing about nuclear physics and the math involved. He not only built an impossible rocket engine, he also built an unlikely targeting system. Only a black hole bends light - right (any gravity source does - but who cares)and he found a mistake in Hawkins math meeting the man in England by just having a glimps at the blackboard. I bet the timing doesnt check out (but I havn't taken the trouble to confirme that) and will anybody pls ask Mr Hawkins if he ever even heard the name Adair? That childhood genius then proceeded to live a life of a lowly technical saleman until he comes out of the closet decades later. His only protection is that the average showbizz TV person knows even less (or is afraid to ask). This is stupid even for the usual disinfo. I want my money back !!!!!
An Incredible Story.......2006-10-01
David Adair's story is hard to believe. However, before one musters up too sceptical a criticism, they should consider a few facts: It is equally hard to believe that this man, an internationally recognized expert in space technology spinoff applications for industry and commercial use, the president of a company that holds clients such as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Clemson University, Edison Electric, Reynolds Aluminum, and the United States Army, Air Force and Navy, who, at age 17, won "The Most Outstanding in the Field of Engineering Sciences" award from the US Air Force, and, at 19, was funded by the National Science Foundation, is out to make a name for himself by publishing an outlandish fictional account.
What lends credence to the story is the man himself, who testified to this story in front of a closed congressional committee. Adair, along with Steven Greer and others is currently working to force open congressional hearings that will grant covert operatives total immunity from their national security oaths in regard to UFO events.
I have not heard a debunker yet who has come up with hard facts to dispute David Adair's story.
YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!.......2006-05-14
I have seen this video a few times and can say, without a single doubt in my mind, this is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. David Adair reminds me of one of those kids we all knew in high school who couldn't tell the truth to save his own life. You know what I'm talking about; he's one of those nerdy kids with low self esteem who told wildly fantastic and improbable stories about exploits that were so unbelievable they were funny. That's how I'd describe Mr. Adair and this video. He claims to have been a kid genius, born with advanced math and physics in his head, who was recruited to work at Area 51 to reverse engineer alien spacecraft. He claims to have become alarmed by the government building a "first-strike" weapon out of this craft and, in a feat of James Bond bravado, foiled their plans by sabatoging the ship and blowing it up. He never bothers to explain how he avoided being prosecuted (or executed) for espionage. He also claims the depiction of Area 51 in the movie Independence Day was spot on and that the movie makers must have had inside information. That right there should be a dead give-away. I gave this DVD two stars because it is quite funny and entertaining in a sick and sadistic sort of way. Watching this guy make a complete idiot out of himself by telling such an improbable story is worth it. The big difference between this DVD and the Bob Lazaar video is Lazaar knows how to keep his story, while wildly improbable, at least somewhat realistic. The truth is Adair is some pathetic schmuck who has told this incredible piece of horsesh*t story in order to be somebody. The sad part is there are people actually dumb enough to believe him.
