The second season of Farscape expands upon and develops the characters introduced in the ambitious first season. John Crichton's new nemesis is the deadly Scorpius, replacing Crais, who has taken the living ship Moya's offspring on a voyage into the unknown. Moya's regular crew--Aeryn, Zhaan, Chiana, D'Argo and Rygel--remain as divided and suspicious of each other as ever, yet somehow manage to pull together at times of crisis. The writers continue to exploit the show's gift for surprising as well as emotionally convincing character development, while the CGI effects, prosthetics and state-of-the-art puppetry--courtesy of Jim Henson's Creature Shop--continue to make Farscape the most original-looking sci-fi show on TV. I really like Farscape, so all I can say about it is positive. The characters are superb, the plots are good, and the humour is welcomed!

Really like the romance between Aeryn and Chricton, because it's not typical, and loved Chiana becauzse she is so cheeky! ;)

A well done sci fi program. It has many extras and is a joy to watch.

Sorry It Took So Long For Me To Discover.......2005-03-28

As most of you know this series worked in conjunction with The Jim Henson Company making puppets for the show. Ok puppets may be a weak word, more like state of the art animatronics (I'm not all up on the lingo here). So I never watched the show when it was on Sci fi because I had a pre conceived bias against any show that starred puppets. It must be intended for kids, right? Well, ok I was very wrong and I ask all of Puppetkind to forgive my ignorance. This show is truly superb, straight lines and clean edges with a nice glossy finish. The characters are unique individuals with their own motives and personalities which I find lacking in most of the other shows currently on TV. I am also extremely fond of the things Chrichton says that don't really translate in a completely alien universe. It gives you an interesting perspective that is one of a kind. I'm currently watching season 3 and am taking my time to savor every remaining episode before they're all gone. I hope this was helpful.
