This odd mixture of syrupy romance and jiggle humor plays like a cross between Love, Hina and Oh My Goddess. Kaoru is a lonely college student in Tokyo; one day, Aoi appears and announces her intention to become his wife. She's the heiress to the Sakuraba conglomerate; Kaoru was the adopted son of the wealthy Hanabishi clan and was betrothed to her--until he renounced his abusive family. Aoi's stubbornness wins over her mother and Miyabi, the woman who's cared for her. Aoi, Miyabi, and Kaoru set up housekeeping in an old Sakuraba family mansion, posing as landlady, manager, and tenant--to avoid a scandal. Then Kaoru's vulgar American friend Tina decides to move in, complicating arrangements. Kaoru is a typically gentle, well-intentioned nerd; Aoi, a sweet doormat who lives to cook and clean for him, despite her wealth. Entertaining Anime from Japan!

5 out of 5 stars Bluer than Indigo.......2006-09-22

Let me start off by saying that at the beginning of this series, I was definitely put off by the sexism. I am an avid femminist and completely disapproved of the message that the story seemed to be sending: that women are graceful, hard-working, and very traditional. However, in persisting with it, I was able to look beyond it and see that it truly is an anime for females. Beautiful art, and a fantastic romance. I've fallen head over heels in love with it. I liked Love Hina and found this compared to it. It is very different, however. Whereas Love Hina seems to become tedious and the plot worn-out, I have yet to tire of a minute of this beautiful series. Swallow your morals for the first few episodes and pay attention to this beautifully stunning romance.

5 out of 5 stars Shakespeare in anime motion.......2006-06-27

This show starts out with a wonderful premise and digress to hilarious comedic moments. Some characters one would despise at first but then grow to appreciate as character development builds in future episodes. Overall, the best anime series one could experience feeling satisfied at the end.

1 out of 5 stars Horrible.......2006-04-22

Okay so it's not horrible if you're a sexist lazy male looking for the perfect life/wife. I wasted my money on this anime thinking it was a shojou, and what did I get? Like everyone else is saying, this is not an anime for girls. I hated Love Hina and everything else so if you're a dummy like me (who loves animes like Fushigi Yuugi), don't buy this, don't even waste your time looking at it.

5 out of 5 stars Just another beautiful anime created.......2005-11-29

I am a sucker for romances ill admit. If you check out the rest of the reviews that i have written the majority of them go to romance. Anyways Ai yori aoishi starts off with a girl name Aoi and a boy named Kaoru. Both of them were to become husband and wife as soon as they were old enough, but something happens and Kaoru decides to leave the hanabishi clan. Aoi has been desperately trying to find kaoru wanting to become his wife. It has been her life dream to be with the one whom was so kind to her when they were children.

Ep.1 The episode starts off with Kaoru being in college and Aoi being on a train. Aoi has the intention of becoming Kaoru's wife, but thats if he even still remembers her. When Aoi finally arrives to the train station she finds herself living a similar scenery involving her child hood with this young man. This man then decides to take Aoi where she needs to go because based on how she was dressed and how clueless she looked he didnt want her to get lost. In any case it was also on the way to his home. What a coincidence huh? I wont say anymore otherwise Im gonna spoil this episode.

Ep. 2 Aoi and Kaoru are reunited and both of them spend the night in Kaoru's room. Since Kaoru has only one futon, being the gentleman that he is he lets Aoi sleep in it. It turns out that Aoi likes to cling onto things in her sleep.....so im gonna leave it at that. In the morning Aoi starts her new life acting as Kaoru's wife, so she decides to cook, clean and do his laundry. After all that it ends with a hilarious scene.

Ep. 3 Aoi is confronted by this woman named miyabi and is forced to go back with her to Aoi's family. Since Aoi just ran away to tokyo, Kaoru did not realize that and so when he was asked to go back to the hanabishi clan he just couldnt accept it. In the end Aoi manages to escape and they both return to the place they first met. After that Kaoru comes down with a fever and Aoi ends up taking care of him. We also lean an important part in this episode. It explains why Kaoru took off from the hanabishi clan and In my opinion i would have done the same thing. Then in the end Aoi ends up leaving with her mom, BUT she only left so that she could get her supplies and be back with her beloved husband.

Ep.4 Since both Aoi and Kaoru are now living together, the Aoi family decide to move them to a bigger location. Aoi is now acting as a landlord and this is to prevent a huge scandal in the Aoi family because Aoi was supposed to be a girl for the head of the Sakuraba family. So with that in mind lets just say that miyabi changes her mind about how Kaoru is and decides to accept him in a way.

Ep.5 The last and final episode. This was an eye opener for me ill admit. It starts off so beautifully with the two couple reunited, but i guess that wasnt the case for this episode. A girl named Tina comes into Kaoru's life once again. So this alone brings many various adventures.

In the end I truely enjoyed how this series started. I am looking forward to finishing this anime in my collection and hopefully it ends like it is supposed to. I recommend this dvd to anyone who enjoys watching a couple coming together.

5 out of 5 stars What a great bio.......2006-08-14

Faith Hill the unauthorized video is the best. I saw an old interview with Faith Hill and it's the best interview I saw. Those other people have no idea what they are talking about. I think this is a must have for Faith Hill fans.

1 out of 5 stars FAITHFULLY----NOT!!!!!!!!! NO KIDDING!!.......2004-01-19

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A WORST VIDEO. A ONE STAR IS TOO MUCH FOR A RATING. HOW ABOUT NO STARS! IT'S OLD FOOTAGE BEFORE SHE EVEN GOT WITH TIM MCGRAW. THERE IS NO CONCERT FOOTAGE. JUST PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT HER. AND IT DOES NOT SHOW A WHOLE LOT OF HER. I RETURNED THIS AND GOT MY MONEY BACK. DON'T BOTHER. FOR GOD'S SAKE DONT BOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 out of 5 stars Faith Hill-Faithfully Yours.......2002-11-15

I recently bought this DVD .... I wish I read the review before I bought it. I consider this is a scam. I feel like I am being cheated from the producer of this DVD. The quality of the DVD is bad. The content is horrible. All it has is some interview clips of Faith Hill back to the days she was not that famous yet and did not look very good. If you like to watch Faith Hill because you saw her Breath Music Video before, you will be very disappointed. This DVD does not contain any of her music video. Don't be fool by the ad that this DVD contains trivia questions and games. They are worthless. DO NOT BUY IT. Faith Hill DVD sale in the future will be hurt by this because I beleive people who bought this DVD will very hesitage to buy another Faith Hill Video unless they have previewed the contents elsewhere.

1 out of 5 stars READ THE REVIEWS.......2002-11-13

I learned a valueable lesson about ordering from Amazon. ALWAYS read the reviews! This DVD is terrible. Everyone of the reviews are right on. No one had anything good to say about this product and I failed to check that BEFORE I ordered it. DO NOT buy this Faith Hill dvd, you'll be very disappionted!

1 out of 5 stars Un-Faithfully Horrible!.......2002-02-11

I wish I would have read the reviews on Amazon before buying. I, too, was looking for a good biographical summary on Faith Hill and some music as well. This DVD is horrible! It basically includes some clips of Faith, but mostly interviews with other people who are trying to break into the music business. The DVD focuses less on Faith than the title suggests, and is very poorly edited, written, and documented. The quality is horrible, and does a huge injustice to such an incredible person. If you are looking for a faith DVD, this is NOT the one to buy! Faith should demand they destroy every copy of this DVD/VHS, and fans should demand a refund from their retailer! It's not worth 18 cents.
