If you like Hollywood nostalga, puppets, musical comedy, spoofs and parodies, or any of the above, you'll love Movie Critters' Big Picture! Little ones will love the colorful and life like puppets, Kids will love the slap stick humor and comic situations, and adults will love the tongue in cheek salutes to Hollywood legends and the parodies of the Tonight Show and Sunset Boulevard. The 80 minutes provides more than a laugh a minute. It is one of those shows you'll want to watch several times in order to catch it all. Bobby Barrett, a Vegas Sinatra style performer, does the voice of Frankie Sinatrat. You'll think Ole Blue Eyes came back to perform the part himself! In addiiton, Gloria Swansong is ready for her close-up, Arnold Hamandegger is the Exterminator, and Charlie Chimplin is well, Charlie Chimplin at his best! Get your copy to day - a ring a ding ding!

I would never in a million years bought this DVD on my own....which is a shame. It was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a long time.
One of my students got this for me for Christmas (he said that he had some relatives that worked on the movie) because he knew I liked muppets and puppetry. I was very impressed by what I saw: a movie that was entertaining and clean. The humor had a whide appeal and many of the jokes about hollywood from long ago will be appreciated by adults while the one liners and sight gags are great for kids. As a teacher at a Christian school I can really appreciate the moral of honesty. I strongly reccomend this to anyone looking for a good family film. I also reccomend this to anyone who is a fan of muppets and puppets in general.

2 years later.... I still think this an excellent movie. I have used it in my classroom several times and showed it to students and lent it to them as well.... only one problem..... I would love to see the movie critters return.

Movie Critters Big Picture is a movie for the entire family to love and adore. The characters come to life before your eyes and make you never want to stop watching them. The songs are creative and exciting. The storyline is both fun and inspirational. Nothing about Movie Critters is mediocre. It is actually in a class all by itself. With the colors, witty humor, and lovable cast this movie is sure to make any Friday night a fun one. I love that I can enjoy the jokes as much as the kids can. It's that smart! Get this movie for sure you won't regret it, and it will even help to instill the core value of listening to your conscience and working hard to get to the top instead of schemeing and manipulating. I love this movie! It's going to be everyone's stocking stuffer this year!
