This is a really good movie and I would recommend it to everyone. It is about five friends trying to make it through a prestegious prep school. Its got great friendship and alot of whitt.

I saw this movie so many times back in the day when it first came out on video. When I saw the DVD, I had to have it. This movie is so awesome and a blast to watch. Great cast and a great time.

The anti CHOCOLATE WAR.......2007-02-26

I had a high school teacher, a Franciscan monk, who would show this movie instead of teaching class. He loved this movie because it showed how strict teachers were when he was a student. I guess you really have to be there to understand what Catholic school justice used to be like. There weren't any teachers being sued for disciplining students and there weren't any students getting away with wrongdoing through sophistry. Nowadays, a celebrity even one raised in the culture can claim they didn't initially know a racial slur was harmful and that claim is enough to excuse them in a society where integrity has diminished. Qualifying I'm sorry with "I didn't mean it" and "I didn't get it" was not an acceptable apology then and rewatching this film with current mores in mind, really highlights the value of timely correction.

This was a film that I remembered loving in my teens. I had thought it was impossible to get on DVD and so was delighted to find it on Amazon. I watched it for the first time in years the other day and I still love it!!! Definitely one to watch if you have never seen it! If you like Brat Pack movies you will love this one!

i was browsing the vhs tapes at my local video store and came across this title the first time i saw it i was hooked its one of those movies you can fall in love with there are big stars in the movie a lot of people don't know but the actor that played ceaser real name is malcolm danare he's from christine the movie and played more parts in the 1980s williams was something always playing with himself andrew mccarthy was good and the young kevin dillion was a riot in this movie i have the dvd no extras i dont know why this is an wonderful movie

I'm not one for reviews, but here's some advice: If you liked Donnie Darko, watch this. If you liked Naked Lunch, or Existenz, watch this. It's WELL worth your time. Wonderful movie.

ON HD NET NOW!!!!.......2007-05-31

I had forgotten how hilarious this series was. Just caught episode "The Show Might Go On" after another FOX series cut down well before its prime... Greg the Bunny. Not sure if this episode ever had the chance to air on FOX... but hopefully other fans can have their fix on HDnet before the day it arrives on DVD.

PS.. the episode title may have foreshadowed the fears of the producers knowing that fox was picking their show up... And ... hmmm.. IMDB has episode 2:12 with an original air date of 4/20/07?!?!

PPS... Even with an analog TV, like me, it is well worth catching the HD feed if you have a DVR/HD cable box. WS and 5.1 is awesome!

This was a great show that got cancelled and I wish they would just come out with the dvd already. I even tried to crucify a guy that looked like jesus to repent for fox's sins. I spent 16 months crying in prison hoping that by the time I got out I could buy the dvd. My life is over.

I watched Late Night with Conan O'Brien for as long as I can remember (anyone recall those weird "Conan Babies" skits that he would have with Max and Andy? Weird, but funny.) Having been completely upset over the fact that Andy Richter was no longer going to appear on Conan, I was more than excited to hear that he was going to have his own sitcom. I remember rushing over to the television, eagerly awaiting each and every episode to air. For godssake, please, PLEASE release this on DVD.

along with Futurama and Arrested Development, Andy Richter Controls the Universe is one of the more recent, brilliant fox shows cancelled before it's time. I can only hope that one day soon, the powers that be will release this show on dvd so I can bask in it's hilarious glory.

Great show, I've missed it but found it just last week on eBay. Great quality DVDs-it will certainly do at least until the show is officially released.
