Description
The `Land Down Under' is turned upside down when Cheech Marin ventures into the world of dingos, koalas, kangaroos and blokes offering "G'Day" greetings. Cheech's character plays Carlos Munoz, a hapless partner in a struggling Mexican restaurant located in…Australia! And as chaotic as his life is, further complications ensue when stunningly beautiful Alex Hobart (Emma Samms) waltzes into his restaurant, forever changing his fortunes, albeit not as he might have hoped. As the daughter of the richest man in Australia, she finds herself in a bind when her father forbids her to marry the man she has chosen….but he foolishly agrees to accept her next choice in a husband. Determined to change her father's mind by making a choice of husband that will make her first choice acceptable, she finds that she need look no further than the hapless, uncouth, bumbling Carlos. The resulting conflicts breed an uproarious blend of comedy and unexpected romance for Carlos and Alex.
