An early entry in the '90s trend of African American comedies, Talkin' Dirty After Dark plays like a prototype of Friday, Barbershop, and other films that followed its example. It's not as good as those other comedies, but it's got the same hip-hop energy that favors character and big laughs over any meaningful plot. It's also got Martin Lawrence, then on the verge of stardom, joining a stellar cast of comic talent recruited from the Def Comedy Jam TV specials that were popular at the time. Lawrence plays an aspiring stand-up comedian (much like himself) who's coping with flat material and lusty come-ons from the wife of Dukie (John Witherspoon), the owner of the L.A. club where comics convene to polish their act, onstage and off. Writer-director Topper Carew (who produced Lawrence's TV series Martin) likes his humor raw and sexy (hence the title), and this easygoing comedy owes a lot to Richard Pryor, whose legacy looms large over the raucous proceedings. --Jeff Shannon

If you liked the DEF Comedy JAM series, you will love this movie as many of the comedians from DEF Comedy appear in this film. Very Funny. Above all else, if the critics say it is bad then you know it must be a great movie.

I watched this film years ago, and even laughed a little. Now I think about the messages that he's teaching our young children, and it upsets me. I belive Martin is a talented comedian, but I refuse to believe that this is the best way for him to express himself. This is my "OPINION"

'Talkin Dirty'is a hilarious comedy.If you view this movie for what it is, then you will have a fun time watching.When I first viewed this movie, many critics disliked it... I think it was because they didn't really know the actors and actresses involved. Let's face it, when blacks are involved many people do not understand some of the lingo or the culture associated with Black folks.There is profanity but no nudity, I would recommend this with a Pg-13 rating.

Description

Vladimir Dracula III is a relative to the original Dracula of Transylvania. He lives in the US in the 21 century and has a big problem. First of all he is bald, has pointy elf like ears, fangs, he is very pale, hunched over, and can not get a woman to save his life! Secondly people are being attacked and killed by vampires and the police think he is doing it only because of who he is related to. They have no evidence but continue to harass him. So Vlad decides to get a lawyer. That is when Rebekah arrives to represent him and she take Vlad's heart. He falls madly in love with her, but with everything else in his life, another problem appears. Tony, her obnoxious, idiot boyfriend! Not only is he disrespectful to Rebekah, he wastes no time making fun of Vlad's appearance. Vlad is not the only vampire in town. He lives with three beautiful vampire women who find victims for him. He doesn't like to attack any more so they do it for him. They don't kill though. Someone else is doing that. While in production on a low budget film everything that could go wrong does. Bad actors, cheap sets, and a film that has no chance of making it. That is when the director Mike has enough. He breaks the news to the cast and crew that the film is dead but where do they go from there? Well, Mike has come up with a crazy idea for a new film. In his travels to various local places through out the month he has noticed billboards, bumper stickers, and people wearing t-shirts that advertise a concert coming to a nearby arena. " The Fernando Valez Festival". But who is Fernando Valez? No one seems to know.
Mike begins to ask various people that very question who have the bumper stickers on their cars and who wear the T-shirts. The strange thing is that no one seems to know who this guy is! So that is where the film makers have an idea for a new film. The director wants to do a documentary about their search for Fernando Valez but he tells the cast and crew that it will be done in a comical way. The crew thinks it will never work but the producers believe they are onto something. It is here when this film becomes a documentary for the search of Valez.

Along their search for the identity of Valez they come across some very unusual people and no one seems to know who Fernando Valez is. Each person has a different story about who they think Valez is keeping Valez''s identity even more of a mystery. While the documentary rolls on the camera man, Larry, has something different in mind. He decides to turn the cameras on the crew and sometimes without their knowledge capturing humorous moments and sometimes dramatic moments. The documentary becomes a behind the scenes look at a film crew trying to make something out of nothing.

This film is a comedy that, at times, is hard to tell if it is real or a movie. The realistic dialogue and performances by the stars creates a true illusion that you are not watching a written movie but real footage captured secretly by the camera.
They start with a search for the identity of an unknown performer but end up with a film about themselves. Their journey will take them all the way to the festival itself where they hope to finally meet Valez but what they don't know is that they will be in for a big surprise! A very BIG surprise.

The laughs are numerous in this bag of mixed nuts! AND SO IT GOES features a series of film shorts and comedy sketches spanning from 1992 to 2006!

Jonathon Grant is a very paranoid writer and illustrator. He specializes in works of horror. He also suffers from hellish nightmares and delusions. Now he must convince everyone that something is seriously wrong with his wife and that it is not his paranoia.
Sarah Grant is married to Jonathon. But after six years of marriage something is happening to her. Something dark and twisted.

Dr. Vincent Stone is the mysterious psychiatrist that Jonathon sees. He hopes Stone will help him with his paranoia. Dr. Stone thinks Jonathon's wife is having an affair. Jonathon thinks differently.

Katrina is the women in black that appears to Jonathon by the river. She claims to be their to help Jonathon. Jonathon is not sure if he is dreaming her or if she is real.

Meanwhile in the woods behind his house there is a rash of women murders. Town's people claim to see strange paranormal activity in the dark forest. Jonathon begins to see evil and finds himself being chased and haunted by a hooded killer.

Jonathon's paranoia is getting worse, women are being murdered in the forest, Jonathon's wife is up to no good, and evil and horrific things are going on all around Jonathon. But what is real and what isn't. Jonathon must find out. Along his way he hears evil voices, sees creatures swimming in the river, faces in the trees warn him, and the masked man continues to chases him. This will all lead to the unbelievably shocking end that no one will see coming.

This digital feature is a dark horror film full of surprises. With its incredible scenic images, involving soundtrack, and fantastic cast, it will have you locking all the doors. It has a Twilight Zone meet's Alfred Hitchcock end that will have all in shock. Try to figure out how it will end- I bet you can't!

In 1998, Margaret Ray was brutally murdered but it was the conspiracy that surrounded the death that was most shocking. Now for the first time go back in time and see the story unfold as it leads up to the point where the first film began.
Our story takes place from 1991- 1998 and leads up to the murder of Margaret Ray. We begin with Detective William Stockwell (Mike Burke) and his partner Detective Laura Brown (Darlene Rogers) being called back to their hometown to investigate a mysterious disappearance. Sheriff Bob (Karl Peterson) hopes they will find the missing person as well as to how he became missing. They will go through all sorts of twists and turns. Each road leading them nowhere. The case just gets more bazaar by the minute.

Meanwhile Margaret Ray( Jennifer Wetmore), who has no self control, finds herself sleeping around town. Three of these men she would develop a strong relationship with. One of these men, unknown to her, is full of pure evil and would kill her without a second thought!

Mayor Tubby Wilson (Mike Burke) has a secret of his own. He is involved in a big drug cartel that involves top town officials and a US Senator! The mayor is only a puppet though. A puppet for a mysterious person who only appears in dark shadows never revealing their identity. When this person identity is finally revealed it will more shocking than anything in all of the Murder After Dark films to date!

This is the most compelling, thrilling, film in the series. They hold nothing back. This is also the final film in the series. The twists and turns will have you in need of a chiropractor! In keeping up with this series tradition the films ends with the most shocking ending out of all the films. No one will see this coming. It will be talked about for centuries to come!
