There will be a debate of which 2004 DVD collection of Marx Brothers films was better. This Universal release of the better known Paramount-produced films are the only ones starring all four brothers: Groucho, Chico, Harpo, and Zeppo. The Warner collection contains less-vital films, but is loaded with extras and commentaries. The Universal collection contains only 20 minutes of interviews from NBC's Today Show--interesting but short--with Harpo, Groucho, and Harpo's son Bill from the '60s and '70s. All of the films in this collection were released on DVD by Image Entertainment in 2000 and the prints look the same, which isn't necessarily bad; one just wishes a major restoration had been undertaken.

The films--packaged handsomely with a booklet--are essential Marx Brothers, their first five films made from 1929 to 1933. The least timeless is their first, The Cocoanuts, based on their Broadway hit. The film--one of the first full talkies--takes place in a hotel with owner Groucho out to grab every dollar. Animal Crackers is the brothers' first classic, a lickety-split comedy about an art theft being investigated by Groucho's alter-image, Captain Spaulding. For introducing youngsters to the work of Marx, Monkey Business is the best way. The shenanigans start right at the start as the brothers stowaway on a luxury liner. It's their first film that wasn't based on a play, as they endeavored to find new material. Horse Feathers gave them more fertile ground plus a sure-fire Hollywood director at the helm (Norman McLeoad). Their fantasia of college life includes the riotous football-game finale. Music, always a key part of their plays and films is given more weight here and includes Groucho's theme, "I'm Against It." Music is again key as the musicals of the era are spoofed in the brothers' undisputed masterpiece, Duck Soup. From a land called Fredonia, Groucho plays a slapdash ruler who rewrites the rules of governing, leading to a most memorable war with Sylvania (so war gets lampooned. too). Duck Soup also boasts the most famous Marx brothers sketch: Groucho trying to fool his mirror. --Doug Thomas

Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Marx.......2007-07-02

These movies prove that you dont have to get hit to be funny. I always love to see Grucho on the screen. He talks so fast and his sexual innuendos are so funny that I cant believe they never got banned. Harpo and Chico always do a good job together. Zeppo...anyways, the only downside to the set is the speical features. The bonus disc is a joke. The transfer of the films to me seems fine, maybe because ive watched so many comedys from that era. I know some people complained about it. These movies are well worth buying but dont expect anyone to get hit with a hammer.

5 out of 5 stars Marx Brothers Collection.......2007-06-21

Still one of the funniest vaudeville acts ever to grace stage, television, or silver screen, The Marx Brothers pioneered an antic, anarchic style of gut-busting entertainment that left audiences of the 1930s howling with delight. Even today, the hilarious mix of song-and-dance routines like "The Monkey Doodle-Do" and "Shirt Song"--accompanied, of course, by Harpo's harp, Groucho's guitar, and Chico's expert ivory-tinkling--combined with the sheer nuthouse fervor of their adventures simply dazzle. In fact, "Duck Soup" was a political farce so extreme that Mussolini banned it . This "Silver Screen" set collects the Brothers' early, outré Paramount outings, the only films where all four funnymen appeared together. Will social satire ever be this goofy again?

5 out of 5 stars The first 5 Marx Brothers Movies.......2007-05-27

This set contains the first 5 Marx Brothers movies - all done in the 1929-33period- one a year. All 5 contain Zeppo, which is a good thing because once Zeppo was let go, they'd always have a Zeppo=like character. All 5 movies, including Cocoanuts, contain a great deal of laughs.
Not that their next 2 films "Night at the Opera" and "Day at the Races" weren't great, but these are easily among the group's best. The later films concentrated a little too much on big production song and dance numbers- these are unfiltered Marx Brothers. Great support here from Margaret Dumont and Thelma Todd also. Watch these movies and you too will become a Marxist!

5 out of 5 stars The four Marx brothers.......2007-05-12

After all these years they are still better then most modern comedies. I really enjoyed watching these old films I haven't seen them in a long time so it was a great treat. Its a great set to have and if you say comedy is your favorite genre this is a must. The only bad part of this set is the special features. In the special features it shows Groucho and Harpo on the today show doing a little interview then it goes into the 70's with Harpo's son on. They were fun to watch, but for a box set like this it should have had much more.

4 out of 5 stars Great movies, OK box set.......2007-04-23

Definitely great movies deserving of five stars and more! These are the Marx Brothers' best films, including the great Duck Soup. Having read other customer reviews about how Universal "slapped" this set together, however, I was surprised how classy the presentation is on the surface. There is a nice booklet and an extras disc. What were they talking about? Well, the extras really are kind of lame. I mean, they are great, but they really have nothing to do with the films, and they are short -- just interview footage from much later. And truth be told, I didn't get any new information out of the booklet, either. So, if you are optimistic Universal will take another stab at this and invest more in remastering and providing extras that mean something, you might want to wait. I felt it was time for me to have these movies, and I couldn't find any evidence a new version would be forthcoming. I am not disappointed I bought this box set, which has some of the best comedies ever filmed. But Universal definitely did not go the extra mile. "Jamison, take a letter to my lawyer..."

Cary Grant plays an absent-minded scientist working on a youth serum with little success. One afternoon, one of his test monkeys gets loose and works up a formula of its own, which then gets dropped into their water cooler. Shortly, Grant is tooling around in a sports car with his boss's voluptuous secretary (Marilyn Monroe). When his wife (Ginger Rogers) investigates, she too gets a dose and drags Grant off for a second honeymoon of all-night dancing. Meanwhile, Grant's elderly boss (Charles Coburn) is eager to get his hands on the formula--only Grant's formula isn't having the proper effect. Monkey Business is probably most familiar to Marilyn Monroe cultists, but it's Grant and Rogers who have the central roles and make the most of them. Rogers's adolescent emotional meltdown at a hotel and Grant leading a gaggle of boys on a scalping raid are only two of the movie's many richly funny set pieces, all directed by the nimble hand of Howard Hawks (His Girl Friday, Bringing Up Baby, Ball of Fire, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes). One of the last of the classic screwball comedies. --Bret Fetzer

Description

Marilyn Monroe, Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers star in this classic comedy about a chemist who discovers the secret of eternal youth. For years, Dr. Barnaby Fulton (Grant) has been working on a youth-restoring serum with little success - until the day a chimpanzee gets loose in the lab and accidentally concocts the exact formula Fulton has been searching for. The hilarity begins when, unbeknownst to anyone, the chimpanzee pours it into the office water cooler. For with each successive drink, everyone gets younger and younger. When Fulton's stunning secretary (Marilyn Monroe) and lovely wife get a taste of the potion, the chemical reaction is explosive and hilarious fun!

Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Full of laughs, Ginger Rogers and Cary Grant are terrific........2007-05-16

The fountain-of-youth is what every middle-aged adult dreams about from time to time, aahhh, to be young again!

Ginger Rogers plays Edwina, the understanding wife of chemist Barnaby Fulton (Cary Grant). After working on his fountain-of-youth formula for two years, he has finally got it and it is time to do some experimental research. Let the fun begin! Both Edwina and Barnaby take the formula, and revert back to a day when they were full of boisterous energy. Being under the influence of the formula also brings up all sorts of unconscious behaviors and thoughts about each other to the surface, which brings about some tense conversation between the two of them later on.

Marilyn Monroe is incredibly sexy in her role as the boss's secretary. Moving and swaying her body with such precision, the viewer is captivated by her.

It doesn't stop there, more research must be done. More laughs, each comedic event builds on the next. This story does have a happy ending!

5 out of 5 stars Monkey Business doesn't Monkey Around.......2007-04-10

This is one of my all time favorite screwball comedies. Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers, with a little Marilyn Monroe tossed in for spice, make a great couple. They are both great comedic actors and to me they had definite chemistry.

Marilyn plays the quintessential Marilyn, ditzy and sexy. Charles Coburn nearly steals the show with his usual gruff demeanor halted by his drinking the "fountain of youth" potion. His chasing Marilyn Monroe around the laboratory is a great scene.

2 out of 5 stars "Well, I love you, you potato head.".......2006-01-01

You'd think with a cast including Cary Grant, Ginger Rogers, Marilyn Monroe and a chimpanzee all directed by the great Howard Hawks you'd have a side-splitter and a half, but you'd be wrong cause this snoozer barely even squeezed a chuckle out of me.

Cary Grant is a scientist working on a youth formula. Funny premise but it takes over 20 minutes before the chimpanzee mixes up some real youth formula and Grant accidentally takes it. The results are humorous, but the effects wear off too soon then Ginger Rogers drinks some and her take on the youth trip is just lame and even depressing. Finally at the end they both take it with unfunny results.

This movie was a great disappointment to me. Change the script, replace Grant with Fred MacMurray and replace Rogers with either Vera Miles or Katharine Hepburn and you'd have something.

5 out of 5 stars I Liked This Movie!.......2005-08-23

Monkey Business (1958) not to be confused with the 1935 Marx Brothers movie with the same title is a very cute comedy and it stars Cary Grant as a scientist working on a formula that will delay the aging process but hasn't been having sucess but unknown to him one of his test monkeys mixes things in the formular and a janitor accidently puts it in the water cooler and when people start drinking the water they begin to act much younger then they are. This movie is pretty funny and also stars Ginger Rogers as Cary's wife and Marilyn Monroe plays a secretary. This is one of my favorite Cary Grant movies and I highly recommend this DVD!

5 out of 5 stars Adorable!.......2005-08-13

Monkey Business is one of the cutest movies I have ever seen and it's just so funny to see Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers take the youth serum and act like children and they were great and also the monkey were absolutely adorable!

This movie is recommended highly!

5 out of 5 stars Marxes on the Rampage.......2006-01-12

The Marx Brothers' first Hollywood production survives as a masterpiece of cinematic anarchy. "Monkey Business" (1931) takes no prisoners -- it's fast, furious and doesn't give a damn about convention. There are enough sight gags and nonsequiturs for a half-dozen comedies. Thelma Todd is a lively addition to the Marxian ensemble and compensates for the absence of Margaret Dumont. Memorable Groucho dialogue: "Don't forget that the stockholder of yesteryear is the stowaway of today."

5 out of 5 stars "Love flies out the door when money comes innuendo.".......2005-09-28

The first Marx Brothers movie filmed directly for the screen, it's their first great picture. They are a bunch of stowaways on an ocean liner who get mixed up with racketeers along the way. Fast and furiously funny for the most part, though the last 20 minutes, after they get off the ship (after the hilarious scene where they all try to immitate Maurice Chevalier) are a let down. It was their first movie in which rather than being merely wiseacres and insulting punsters they were truly anarchic: Harpo totally disrupts the passport proceedings, stamping everything in sight and then throwing the papers in the air. From this point on they would not be just verbally wild and funny guys, but their humor would take on a Freudian aspect as well. Definitely worth a watch.

5 out of 5 stars ONE OF THEIR BEST MOVIES!!.......2004-03-08

I have recently become a DIE-HARD Marx Brothers fan. I was introduced to them by my wonderful cousin Lewis. THANK YOU LEWIS!!!!!!!!!! The Marx Brothers are FANTASTICALY HILARIOUS!! Monkey Business was the first movie of their's that I saw, and its, so far, the best. Even thought the others I have seen come close behind, there's just something about Monkey Business. Its down-right hilarious. Great lines by Groucho, great scene of Harpo and him playing the harpo, Chico and the piano...This movie deserves a 5 stars.

I looooooove the marx brothers, and Monkey Buiness is one of my favourite Marx films! Anyone who hasn't seen this movie should, even if you are unfamilier with the Marxes. (As soon as you see your first Marx movie you will probably become obsessed with them anyway, like I did). Anyhow, this movie is filled with jokes from start to finish, and there's never a dull moment! HILARIOUS!

Some essential examples of the Marilyn Monroe mystique make up this second collection of titles from MM's years at Twentieth Century Fox. After sparkling in small roles, she burst upon the public consciousness in 1952, thanks to five films and a certain nude calendar. Two of the 1952 pictures, showing very different sides of the new actress, are included here. One is Monkey Business, Howard Hawks's raucous comedy about a youth serum, in which top-lined stars Cary Grant and Ginger Rogers regress to a state of adolescent abandon, with Monroe doing spot-on supporting duty. Don't Bother to Knock gives Marilyn her first lead role, in a tense little film noir; she's a babysitter with an unstable streak, a fine performance hinting at depths rarely touched in her career.

In Niagara, Monroe is a full-fledged sex goddess, a scheming wife tormenting husband Joseph Cotten in their cabin by the falls. This Technicolor slice of pseudo-Hitchcock is a fun location picture with a genuinely exciting climax. Otto Preminger's River of No Return has Marilyn livened up by the presence of costar Robert Mitchum, in a strong outdoorsy Western that catches the two stars in appealing form. By the time of 1960's Let's Make Love, MM looks tired. This backstage musical is more interesting as a time capsule than as a romance, although one number shines: "My Heart Belongs to Daddy." Less urgent for Monroe fans than the first Diamond Collection, this set is still a good one for the die-hards. --Robert Horton

If you're a fan of Marilyn Monroe, this is a great collection ... each selection is Classic Marilyn. Quality is excellent.

5 out of 5 stars STUNNING LEGENDARY PERFORMANCES~BRAVO MARILYN!!! .......2006-11-10

Marilyn Monroe is a once-in-a-lifetime legend and nobody has come along since to match the magic of this gifted and very versatile performer...each gem in this Diamond Collection are classics to be enjoyed over and over again for anyone who enjoys the finest that the world of entertainment has to offer! "Don't Bother To Knock" is an amazing hauntingly brilliant performance early in Marilyn's career that shows incredible dramatic range while "Monkey Business" is a fun romp showing Monroe's great comic ability. "Niagara" is a real DIVA Superstar turn unlike any other and Marilyn is drop-dead gorgeous in this colorful spectactular with this film being the one that made Marilyn Monroe a true film Superstar and introduced without a doubt that famous Monroe walk with Marilyn unforgettable in that sumptuous red dress...mesmerizing and exotic singing "Kiss" and never was Marilyn more seductive!!! "River Of No Return" is a great movie that has aged well having a timeless quality to it with a moving and richly etched performance from Marilyn that holds up well today...musical numbers show Marilyn had her own totally original style and made magic with these numbers and every moment is fascinating to watch. "Let's Make Love" was ahead of its time and its style of intergrating musical numbers into the story was used some ten years later in "Cabaret"...listening to the Original Soundtrack CD it is clear that Marilyn delivers some of the finest musical performances of her brilliant career (Cole Porter's "My Hear Belongs To Daddy" is a real showstopper!) making this a must have for fans of great musical films and this winning release also features wonderful unreleased performances not in the film...as a young teen who sneaked into the theatre to see this racy at that time film, I have lost track of how many times I have seen this classic and find it richly entertaining every time...and the final never completed "Something's Got TO Give" show a sophisicated and very beautiful Marilyn who never looked so stunning on the big screen and this motion picture would have been a real classic...Marilyn was coming into her own as a unique performer and living screen legend who showed promise of becoming the greatest star of her generation...too bad her career which meant so much to Marilyn and showed such promise of hitting greater heights was cut tragically short. Thankfully movies such as these keep this incredible legend alive and Marilyn will in this way always shine the brightest and she always lit the screen up in a way that nobody else ever could...Marilyn was the true meaning of SUPERSTAR...we love and miss you Marilyn and thank you for leaving behind a treasure chest of magic for all of us to savor and enjoy!!!

I bought the 1st Diamond collection for my wife (a devoted Marilyn fan) and we were both impressed with the quality of the restorations. We were looking for more of the same with the Marilyn II collection. Although I ordered the collection well before Christmas, I didn't receive it until the day after Christmas. The tracking site showed it ready for pickup on December 18. When we received it we first viewed Niagara. The restoration was very good. I've been to the Falls many times and I got a kick out of how little things had changed since this movie was shot. Joseph Cotton was very convincing as the tortured soul who was infatuated with Marilyn. The action was well-paced and kept you in suspense during the last half of the movie. Unfortunately, this DVD was defective and the picture broke up 30 minutes into the movie and we lost about 10 minutes of the movie. I went to Amazon's site and after going through a short questionaire I was able to print out a postage-paid mailer without having to talk to anyone. I returned the collection for replacement due to arrive in a week. Hopefully this one will not be defective since we are looking forward to viewing the other DVDs in this set.

5 out of 5 stars Waiting for the soundtrack of the DIAMOND COLLECTION , Volume II. This collection merits a soundtrack........2005-12-19

After The DIAMOND COLLECTION of Marilyn Monroe DVD was released,
a soundtrack CD was also released with many interesting tracks.
Yet this time around, no soundtrack was released. I am waiting
for a soundtrack with the songs Marilyn sings in NIAGARA (KISS),
River of No Return, and Lets Make Love, as well as the main themes from Don't Bother to Knock, and Monkey Business. There must be enough tracks in the vaults of 2oth Century Fox to include as Bonus items of Marilyn Monroe singing, deleted songs
from her movies, alternate takes, etc. We Marilyn Monroe fans
demand that a soundtrack CD to the Marilyn Monroe DIAMOND COLLECTION vol. II be released.

5 out of 5 stars GOOD - LOOK AT THE EVIDENCE WITHOUT THE FILTER OF POLITICAL PREFERENCE.......2007-01-07

THE PROBLEM IS THIS: 40+ YEARS (AND MILLIONS OF HOURS) OF MEDIA SAYING THE MOON LANDINGS WERE REAL, AND ONLY A FEW YEARS ARGUING AGAINST THEM.

So everyone coming to this film has had years of being told the official line. That's a lot to compete with and a lot to flush out of the brain.

Just imagine if the USSR (Russia) had carried out the moon landing.
Imagine the dent in US national pride. Well if Bart SIbrel had then come along and accused the USSR of faking the landing.
The US support would have been in the majority - 'of course Russia did not land on the moon' everyone would have chorused.

The problem is that most people see such an historic event, an event that has come to be seen as 'man's' greatest achievement, through political filters.

No if Russia had done it, becuase we don't WANT them to have done,
or YES if the US did it, beacuse we'd WANT that.

Looking at the evidence presented in the films, and looking at the official responses, and debunking, the case for a faked moon landing is over the 1/2 way mark - so its more likely that it was faked than real.

I suggest you watch his films for yourself, and decide for yourself, and try not to let any preconcieved ideas filter what you see.

An interesting fact: When the Soviets managed to build a system that could track rockets from the earth to the moon, the remaining 3 Apollo missions were all suddenley cancelled.

1 out of 5 stars Smoking gun...? Yeah. Right........2006-04-26

You know in older cartoons? When Bugs Bunny pulls a fast one on somebody? And they turn the guy's head into a giant lollipop with the word "sucker" written on it? Well, that's me. I actually bought this DVD. I'm man enough. I admit it.

An hour and forty-eight minutes of raw footage. That's what this DVD is. No camera crew reflected in helmets, No wires holding up model earths. No photos or film from some secret model shop making the lunar landscape or painting backdrops with the earth on it. Not a single thing that screams out that the moon landing never happened. It's everything you've ever seen in any given "how they got to the moon" documentary, except just more of it- not only do you get the last few seconds where the lunar module actually touches down, but you get the full ten minutes leading up to it... that sort of thing.

If the "smoking gun" is that there are slates at the head of every shot, then the... um... "director"... might want to learn a bit more about how the process of shooting on film. You see, shooting a few seconds of a slate with camera info, exposure info, and so on, is all part of the process. You have to do it. In space or not. You have to. Don't believe me? Look up the New York Film Academy. There's about fifty of them in the US alone. Take a two-week filmmaking class and you'll find out all about it.

Now, I love a good conspiracy theory. But until you've got footage of a director yelling, "cut!" with an astronaut taking his helmet off and a swarm of people rushing onto the set to make adjustments, or a call sheet for the cast and crew for the "flag planting scene", then you're wasting people's time. Including your own, mister director-man.

The George Jetson, "review" of this item clearly is not. It is yet another non-review.

Along with other Sibrel items for sale here. This has been, "Sock Puppet" reviewed.

A Sibrel supporter just comes along and posts a glowing piece. How clever.

Another Sibrel DVD is reviewed here, on Amazon(Astronauts gone wild). A review author admits to not having seen the movie, but gives it a five star vote!

I've not watched this particlar Sibrel orffering, so I can not pass judgement.

I do however wish to warn those that consider purchasing Sibrel products, he and his fan base are dishonest.

5 out of 5 stars This is unbelievable.......2006-02-13

This dvd contains numerous never before seens clips including special effects testing / demonstration reels that even say in the opening frame "This is not meant for public viewing."

These show quite clearly numerous tests on the lunar lander prop models, and of "astronauts" running around in circles on the moon landing set kicking up dust while the speed of the camera is slowed to produce the desired effect of low gravity.

Obviously i am not using me real name, because i am too scared to.

All i can suggest is that you view the sample clips of this dvd from www.moonmovie.com before you decide who you want to believe.

1 out of 5 stars Pricey Clips that Prove Nothing.......2006-02-13

On the back cover of this DVD it states, "In Apollo 11 Monkey Business, you'll see how the crew of this mission bamboozled the world into thinking that they actually traveled to the moon." And a little later, it says, "This compilation of newly discovered unedited reels will show you how the world was tricked into thinking that the moon landings wee authentic." Regrettably, neither of these statements is true.

After watching this DVD several times, I did not see anything that I haven't seen at least a dozen times and it is clear that all of this footage is available elsewhere. I repeat, all of this footage is available elsewhere, and some of it is available for free from NASA websites. These statements by the producers of this DVD are nothing but spin and sales hype. In fact, all this unedited footage, plus eight additional hours is available from Spacecraft Films (for sale here on amazon.com) for only ONE dollar more (that's not a typo).

Instead of convincing me that the Apollo 11 mission was a hoax and the world was bamboozled, the nine snippets on this DVD convinced me without doubt that the Apollo moon missions were real. By far, the most compelling section was Chapter 3, which shows the moon walk. In this section, we can see that many of the so-called hoax claims are patently false. For example, we see nearly parallel shadows cast by the astronauts and their equipment, the flag never moves unless one or both of the astronauts are touching it (in fact it stays fixed the entire time) and when one of the astronauts kicks some of the top layer of moon dust it travels nearly ten feet and never billows like it does here in Earth air.

What would have helped this production is some sort of commentary from the director/producer of this DVD after each clip describing why he feels this clip shows a hoax or how it was done in a studio or why the science and engineering is bad. Just something to help the viewer understand how and why the Apollo 11 moon mission was a hoax would have been nice. Or maybe he just can't do that.

In the end save your money and buy a book or another DVD because the feature does not show the crew bamboozling the world and does not contain any newly discovered unedited video or film.

These are verry funny episodes and they are good to. The names of the episodes are-
Episode 88- The Three Sprites of the Monkey God
Episode 89- Nursing battle of the Rival Lovers
Episode 90- Sota's Brave Confession of Love
Ok episode 88 is about when Inuyasha and friends go to a village the villagers plead to the ''Dog God''( Inuyasha) to help them with their monkey problems. When Inuyasha,Shippo, and Kagome go to look for them they find them and find out why the monkeys gave them problems. I would tell you more but I dont wanna spoil it it is a prettty funny episode.
Episode 89 is when Kagome gets sick and is sent back to her own era.Inuyasha goes to help her get better. But I wont spoil it anymore.
And the last episode, episode 90 is Kagome and Inuyasha are still in Kagomes era. They go shopping and see Kagomes little bro Sota and he is buying flowers for a girl he likes. At the end there is a Kag/Inu thing going on too. I hope the review helped! This is a very good DVD!

5 out of 5 stars As my daughter says, Inuyasha rocks!.......2006-08-02

Japanese animation has come into American popularity the past few years. Inuyasha is definitely one of the best. If you're expecting a typical American cartoon, this isn't it. Inuyasha is an adventure tale based on a girl who time travelled back to ancient Japan to help a half human half dog demon, Inuyasha, search for fragments of a jewel that bestows its possessor immense powers. The series has a wonderful sense of humor, some gory parts (not suited for the younger ones under 5 y/o), part romance, part friendship....a magical anime series overall that appeals to a wide range of audiences. This is definitely one of my favorite Japanese anime.

      5 out of 5 stars Inuyasha.......2005-04-14

      Episode List

88 The Three Sprites of the Monkey God
Inu-Yasha and Co. arrive in a village where the fields have been wrecked by monkeys. The villagers who think Inu-Yasha is a dog god ask him to help, because monkeys hate dogs. When he meets up with the monkey demon he discovers that they are just little demons like Shippo. Funny episode, the monkey demons are cute and its fun to watch Inu-Yasha get so annoyed with them.

89 Nursing Battle of the Rival Lovers
On their way to locate Naraku Kagome catches a cold, while Inu-Yasha is out Sango and Miroku tell her to go home and get better. When Inu-Yasha returns with food for Kagome he is upset to find her gone and heads to her world where Hojo and Kagome's friends are visiting her and he seems to get a little jealous about Hojo. I like this episode it was sweet Inu-Yasha seems so concerned. It was sad when he saw the pictures of Kagome and her friends and Hojo was in it.

      90 Sota Falls in Love
Kagome and Inu-Yasha are in the modern world and they discover that Kagome's brother Sota is in love with a classmate. This is a funny episode, I was craking up when Sota was asking Inu-Yasha for advice. When Kagome dresses Sota up he looks like Jimmy Kudo/Conan Odigawa from Case Closed.

All in all some good episodes are on this disc, nothing happens in the search for Naraku but they are funny and entertaining. I definitely plan on getting this one. For those of you who are fans of Inuyasha you should check out Ranma 1/2 or Maison Ikkoku also by Rumiko Takahashi, I liked Inuyasha and so I picked up some of her other stuff and I liked them just as much, especially Ranma 1/2 it's so funny.

It's time to grow up and think about something new! The 80's are gone.Just like our big hair.Life is good almost 20 years later. It was fun, what I remember of it and today...?No regrets!Just some sweet memories. Have a nice day!

      5 out of 5 stars Baz is an egotistical, self-centered prick - that's why he's gone!.......2006-05-21

Yeah, Matt was a great guy, but Baz put the Skids on the map. Unfortunately, he's a god in his own mind and pretty much destroyed the band from the inside all by himself. Shades of Van Halen...... As a fan, I agree that he is the voice of Skid Row, but having known the guys personally for over 20 years, I would never wish the pain they went through trying to deal with Baz on anyone. Better to limp along and enjoy life that do deal with that Bazzhole...............

Yeah guys, it's Tim and I'm tellin' it like it is.........

5 out of 5 stars okay caz we get it.......2006-03-17

you are the one and only Matt Fallon fan. Let it go. No one has any interest in hearing anything by him. If they did, then he would have been the voice of Skid Row. Baz was, is, and always will be the voice of Skid Row. That is why he has a record contract and they don't even have a label.

1 out of 5 stars They should have Never Fired Matt Fallon!.......2006-01-27

What were they thinking when they fired Matt Fallon(the original singer of Skid Row) Bach is over-rated and now won't even get back together with the original band and tour again. What a Loser!
