Some critics see the success of Jackass: The Movie as the last nail in the coffin of civilization, and they're probably right. This compilation of pain-inflicting stunts and embarrassing pranks has no artistic merit whatsoever--which doesn't keep it from being freakishly entertaining. Among other things, Johnny Knoxville and his posse get beaten up by a female kick-boxing champion; shoot bottle rockets out of their rectums; run amok in Japan wearing giant panda bear costumes; swim with whale sharks while holding pounds of brine shrimp in their swimsuits; and get done up in realistic old-age makeup so that they can race each other in motorized wheelchairs, among other goofs. It's a weird mixture of machismo and masochism, adolescent recklessness and frat boy homoeroticism, and someday someone will write a doctoral thesis about how Jackass relates to our safety-obsessed society. In the meantime, just enjoy. --Bret Fetzer

All the jackasses you love from the MTV series are back performing stunts no one would let them pull on television.

Not for the squeamish.......2007-05-19
This movie is as wrong as it is funny. Get a handful of your buddies, who happen to be nigh-fearless stuntmen and film yourselves doing incredibly stupid things (you know "guy stuff"), things we (guys) all do when we are with out dumb friends, and especially if we have been drinking. From the giant shopping cart (who hasn't wanted to do THAT at one point or another?) to the taser (ouch!), this is almost two hours of fun and gut-busting laughter as we get to be voyeurs of a frat party gone wild. This movie is worse than its reputation. Don't even bother watching it if you are the "sensible" type. It will just give you a conniption. However, if you are having a wild party and need something playing in the background, turn the sound down, the music up (loud) and pop this in the DVD. A good night's entertainment is guaranteed.
So funny.......2007-05-09
These guys are just plain crazy! Great movie to watch on depressing rainy sundays!
Movie.......2007-03-30
Was surprised by the price compared to other movies, but it was worth it.
the title says it all..........2007-03-13
this is another JackAss movie I purchased for my husband. He thought they both were hilarious. So, I know he would give them a 5 star rating. Fortunately, he is of an age where he wouldn't try to imitate any of the stunts. At least I hope he is of an age where he wouldn't try... But boys will be boys, whether five or 65.
Gross by funny........2007-03-12
There were a couple of parts of this movie that were pretty disgusting. I think the Jackass crew sometimes trys too hard with the gross out factor. But overall this is hilarious. I little too much sausage for the younger kids though! But is your 17 or over I highly recommend it.

In this uncensored collection of pre-Jackass amateur videos that's not even remotely for the squeamish, Steve-O, one of Johnny Knoxville's more fearless lieutenants, snorts hot curry up his nose, shoots a firecracker out of his behind, becomes a human dartboard, sets his hair on fire, jumps off bridges from atop moving cars, and commits other atrocities we cannot even dare hint at here (a "Career Ender" segment is obscenely graphic). "We don't know how you did that," one impressed, albeit shocked, onlooker states at one point. A more accurate statement might be, "We don't know why you did that," to which Steve-O has a ready answer: "I want to be remembered forever." See? What's to understand? --Donald Liebenson
Description
Outrageous and out of control! The fearless star of MTV's "Jackass," Steve-O, unleashes his craziest footage in this collection of the stunts that gave network attorneys ulcers. Rat kebobs! Windshield skateboarding! Pit licks! Living firecrackers! Featuring all-new insanity, these outrageous exploits by Steve-O and his band of lunatic helpers have never seen the light of day until now!
Customer Reviews:
Steve-O!.......2007-04-18
Totally awsome. from near the start of the video when Steve-O is skating on a frozen pond and falling through i knew this dvd was gonna rock. i love taking this DVD places to gross out my p**sy friends haha. grossing out some panzies with clips of steve-o blowing hot curry lines\eating possum and squirrel then puking his guts out. priceless.
Blake's Review.......2007-04-15
So, here is my review on Steve O volume 1. I will also be reviewing 2 and 3 so check those too.
I thought this one was the best of the 3. It has a nice sneak peek of 2, with a sick spot of steve o taking a piece of glass and cutting his tounge open. This DVD also had stunts such as Steve O getting hit by a flaming guitar, jumping off of bridges on stilts, getting darts thrown at him, and even getting at least 2000 firecrackers blown up all over his body, and skateboarding.
This DVD also includes The Career Ender. Which was supposed to be footage of the end of Steve O. This is the Rated R, (how can I say that? the whole things R!) or a, Worse version of The Video. This one has new stunts but it is a lot more graphic and sexual.
There's commentary with the cast.
Tons of fun
The entire DVD is about 50 minutes including the carrer ender.
So there's my review. and again, This is the best Steve O video out of Volumes 1-3
Just alright.......2007-01-24
I probably don't have to say much but hey its all about Steve-O need I say more. It is interesting but I was very disapointed on the length of it. Not long at all. It wasn't worth what I spent on it but I love Steve-O so whatever I will get over it. It is basically him just doing stupid thing that really I have already seen him do. If you have seen any of the shows or the movies Jackass he does some of the same things on this. Also there is some stuff that he has done on Steve-O Out On Bail and also some from the Wildboyz. I would say though if you like Steve-O and the [...] he does buy it. Personaly I think the best work he has done is the show Wildboyz. I have all the seasons on dvd and I highly recomend anyone that is a fan to buy those. But hey its up to you.
Don't Try This at Home - The Steve-O Video.......2005-09-20
I bought this dvd for $8.99, and I'm surprised that alot of people said that they got it for $20.00.
Alright, so this dvd is funny...I mean come on, it's Steve-O! What else would you expect? But I did not find it nearly as entertaining as Viva La Bam, Wildboyz, or Jackass. At least in Jackass they do funny things that make them look like specticals(ex, Daddy and Baby pts 1-3). On Steve-O, all it is is him doing retarded stunts...plus it's way too short.
With the Career Ender added on there, the movie is a bit longer but not by too much. The Career Ender shows alot of male(and female) nudity, sexual content, and The Human Uranal(THE BEST PART!!). I didn't too much care for the nudity, because you can only take so much of that. And in the career ender, that's all it is.
This is a funny dvd, but I think it's only funny the first few times you watch it. After that, it gets old fast. If your going to buy it, then I'd suggest getting it for under $10. I mean, I love Steve-O, and I respect him for what he does...I'm not bashing his dvd because it is quite funny. It just gets old fast.
the movie is good but the career ender goodgod.......2005-01-06
the steve o movie was sweet i laugh at every thing he does on it if u like steve o and crazy but funny stunts this is for you some stunts are nasty but still funny i just wish it was longer its like 31 mins but the career ender makes it longer about 52min but i gave that like 2 stars because it show so much male nudity i cant stand it no straight guy could. in every stunt u see nudity on it. but the steve o movie is good

Yeah Dude! The Tour Video!.......2007-04-18
Yeah Dude! Steve-O on tour! great footage from steveo's adventures at spring break, and all across america. all the scenes with Dee rock especially hard. watching that dude get knocked the f*** out with the skateboard would make anyone want to yell "hit him again!" haha. totally awsome.
Steve-o Vol.2 the best so far.......2003-12-19
I been a fan of Steve-o (CKY, Jackass) for sometime now and i have to say that this video dosen't disapoint. It lacks on the stunts that the first has but it dose give a good look into the life of steve-o. I personaly love this video and would say that this is a worthwhile investment for any steve-o fan
YEAH DUDE
Better than the first!.......2003-09-28
The second Steve-O Video. This video is about Steve-O and his crazy tour around America. Performing crazy, shocking and hilarious stunts. Featuring Jackasses Wee Man, Ryan Dunn, Bam Margera, Preston Lacey and skaters like Ryan Simonetti and Preston Acuff. This has more stunts than the first and is guaranteed to shock you. This video also has tons of behind the scenes footage and more girls. Tune in to see: Ti*s on fire, Trash Cans, Steve-O's eviction party, more skating, rental vans being destroyed, lighting nuts on fire, breaking mircrowaves, the fireball stunt, and many more. If you liked the first, then you'll love the second. I never get sick of watching it.
Waste of time and money.......2003-09-10
I bought this DVD thinking it would be funny, it's not, it lacks stunts, it's mostly behind the scenes stuff which to be honest is boring. It lacks the comedy of Jackass and what stunts it does have are just not funny. In one scene Steve-o sets a girls chest on fire, I don't find that funny, it's kind of weird.
Am a big fan of the jackass series and I bought this thinking it would be just as good, but it's a poor mans attempt at humour. Mostly Steve-o is out of his head on drugs and it shows alot. I hope the first in the series is better, this was just a waste of money.
1 Star
Funny yet Not Long Enough.......2003-07-26
This is funny as Hell!!! Don't Get Me Wrong.... I love it. However, it does pale to what Jackass the Movie had to offer. If you think Jackass is funny, get this. I love it, but I warn you, it is pretty short. Good for those sober up times before the drive home. (If you think you could re-enact these, don't drive.) It does have some pretty vile stuff.

Volume 3 is everything you want in a Jackass compilation, and more: more arrested adolescent behavior, more outrageous stunts and pranks, more "poo." Pogo-stick skateboarding, ice-block downhill skating, and backwards bull-riding are representative of the way-extreme stunts that have made Johnny Knoxville and his posse folk heroes to Generation BMX. But Jackass turns it up to 11 with its fearless forays into public performance art. In one of the more benign segments, Rick Kosick shaves his head and dons a frightful toupee, which he proceeds to drop in front of people. Funnier are the bits with Knoxville convincingly costumed as a 90-year-old man. In a more grisly segment, Knoxville and a partner subject an unsuspecting carpet cleaner to a bloody scene of escalating mayhem. And it wouldn't be Jackass without frontal assaults on the groin. Guaranteed to get the party started, this volume, at 78 minutes, has tremendous shock value. --Donald Liebenson
Description
Due to some random haggard circumstances, Volume 1 of the Jackass TV series isn't coming out anytime soon. But in the meantime here's Volume 3. Volume three of the Jackass series contains a random, haggard selection of segments and bits that aired on our crappy little television show. Memorable moments in this half-ass collection include the recitation of the Gettysburg Address by Johnny Knoxville while a beard of leeches is applied to his ruggedly handsome face, Chris Pontius stripping down for the pleasure of five other dudes, Wee Man and Preston Lacy pulling a "poo switcheroo" with a porta-potty, Dave England digging through the trash and unearthing a tasty treat in a diaper, and a bunch of other absurd stunts, pranks and queer misbehavior from our bumbling cat and crew of idiots.
Customer Reviews:
Really funny I think........2006-08-13
Ok all you jackass fans, if you have yet to see jackass vol. 3, you are missing some of the best stuff ever. of corse not as good as vol. 2, but great none the less. One of my favorite stunts in the corse of the dvd, is Dutch BMX. I don't know why, but I just thought the editing was really great. The music, (Which I have no idea what was but would like to, and if you know contact me at fearseeker@gmail.com) Really fit really well with the skit. Another skit that I am fond of is 90 year old man. If you have seen the movie, It is kind of like the one in there. Johnny knoxville goes to a make-up artist (which used up almost their whole budget) and was decked out to look like he was 90 years old with great results. I am not saying anything more about this one, because I don't want to spoil it. On of my favorites on the dvd it tandom snow boarding. I think that says enough. And another is Dutch girl. In this Pontious dresses up like a dutch girl and skips happily down the street only to reveal to the onlookers, and he has no under pants on under his dress. My review is 5 for this dvd, and if it could go any higher, I would. My advice, buy the dvd and feal what it is like to laugh harder than you had ever thought possible.
-Adam.
Hilarious Show Too Bad Vol. 1 isn't Coming Out Soon.......2005-05-08
I bought volume three after seeing most of the stunts performed on TV already but this show never gets old. Poo Diaper was one of my favorite Jackass stunts of all time I laughed so hard. It still was worth every penny and it makes me laugh every time. The stunts however were better on Vol. 2 in case you were only going to buy one but for only 17 dollars its worth all the laughs you'll get out of it. Johnny Knoxville is one of my favorite comedians and even though Viva la Bam and Wild Boyz make me laugh too I still wish Jackass was still on the air. Greta humor and kids remeber don't try and of this at home.
i messed up.......2005-03-12
i just did the huge all-chapter review...tandem biking is not a chapter its between bottle skating and poo switcheroo (it says tb is a chapt. on the card in the dvd box)...when you watch bottle skating wait after and you'll see tandem biking, and 43. is 90 year old man #3. sorry!
JACKASS RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......2005-03-11

3.beard of leeches:nice... i liked when jonny put like 13 leeches in his mouth and spit them all out and calls it "a hair ball of leeches hahahahaha".
4.ice barrel jumping:dave carnie and ryan dunn attempt to jump over garbage cans in an ice rink! plus bams new invention which it shows like only 3 seconds of bam riding it.
5.fat Fook 2:number one is in jackass the movie i like them the same but this was really on cky4:latest and greatest.
6.accidental poo:boring for me and not that funny just jonnies nephew farting into a micro phone and he accidentaly poops
7.bottle skating....(its not a bottle its a jug)
<- thats heard most of the chapter but this is one of the best things on here
8.tandem biking: really funny chapter where chris pontius and ehren dress up as bunnies and go down hills on a 2 person tandem bike!

13.snow surfing: how does ehren ride a surfboard when its snowing and hes in a bathing suit!!!???? its a very funny chapter
14.metro bunny:funny funny i like when they show the little picture in the train
15.crapper sled: they should have done this more then once! watch steve-os back when he comes out! yuck!
16.body cast: another laugh out loud chapter where bam and bran dress up as docters and push i think ryan dunn into curbs while hes on a stretcher in a body cast!

22.nutball:funny game i feel sorry for ehren :(
23.snow ladder:really cool chapter but too short
24.the toupee: not that funny
25.THE OMELETTE:even the name freaked me out WARNING:all people with weak stomachs leave the room when you watch this!!!!

GET UP AND BUY THIS TO PACK!!! ITS WORTH EVERY PENNY I THINK ITS WORTH THE MONEY AND I HAVENT OPEND VOL.2 YET ILL REVIEW BOTH ON APRIL SOMETHING MAYBE!
I have volume 2 and 3 .......2004-10-16
I also have the movie! My favorite stunt on this DVD is "the omelette". In my opinion, THE BEST PART OF BREAKFAST! {no, not really}. All of the other stunts are....different...sort of in their own way. I haven't watched the t.v. show on MTV, but I have seen and own volume 2 and 3 and the movie. The reason the stunts are different are because some of them may end up being shocking, but they're cool anyway. If you want a good laugh, watch some of them. Trust me. Have faith in yourself, and I say that to whomever reads this review. I think there should be a sequel to the movie because these guys can do....pretty much whatever they want. Enjoy!

When Andy Warhol made his prophetic comment about fame, he could not possibly have anticipated the lengths some would go to get their 15 minutes. Consider Johnny Knoxville and his posse of merry pranksters. These are America's funniest home videos, a generous and representative sampling of segments from the notorious MTV series Jackass, which capture men behaving very badly, and very stupidly. Knoxville and company are mostly content to do injury to themselves and each other (their poor and battered groins alone must be eligible for combat pay). Other segments have a demented Candid Camera quality. In one, Chris Pontius dons a werewolf suit and runs amok through London. In another, two hockey players continue their "fight" inside a store. Throwaway bits, such as the popping of a blackhead, cleanse the palate between stunts. As one observer notes: "You'd have to be an idiot to try this." Watching this, however, is another matter. And by the way, there is no volume 1; go figure. --Donald Liebenson
Description
Due to some random haggard circumstances, Volume 1 of the Jackass TV series isn't coming out anytime soon. But in the meantime here's Volume 2. Volume two of the Jackass series contains a random, haggard selection of segments and bits that aired on our crappy little television show. Remarkable moments in this half-ass collection include Chris Pontius masquerading as an American werewolf and creating panic in the streets of London, Johnny Knoxville sticking his arm right up a cow's butt, Bam Margera and Brandon Dicamillo taking the hockey gloves off and brawling in the middle of a café, Ehren McGhehey falling flat on his pink face while skateboarding blindfolded, and a bunch of other absurd stunts, pranks and queer misbehavior from our bumbling cat and crew of idiots.

It'd be better if they could use the f word........2003-07-11
Jackass is what it is. Funny stupid stunts where someone always gets hurt. MTV took Bam Margera's CKYs and Big Brother's skate videos and turned it into mainstream chaos. It is great exposure for Bam, Johnny Knoxville, Steve-o, Random Hero and the rest of the gang. The stunts and pranks are all real. And all are really funny. This is a good DVD. The only downer is the censorship. It is the exact same as the TV show. Bleeped curse words and fuzzed out nudity.
All the crazy stuff they don'y show on TV, they don't show on here either. It is still worth it. If you want movies with real crazy funny stuff that will leave you shocked and in stiches check out CKY 1-4. And Big Brother's Poop.
Laugh out loud!.......2003-03-30
If you liked the movie, you will like this (albeit tuned down) version i asume is clips from the TV show. No cursing or nudity like the movie, but so what. It's funny anyhow. Many awesome scenes. Be warned however, volume 3 stank. Stick to volume 2
Cringe-Tacular!.......2002-12-20
Finally, Jackass has come out on DVD. Although there is no Vol. 1 right now, (I don't even know if there really is a Vol. 1 or if it's just supposed to be a joke), Vol. 2 is still a great collection of some of the most outrageous, disgusting, shocking, and disturbing moments from the very popular TV show. Join Johnny Knoxville and his gang of misfits as they do some of the most idiotic things ever to be caught on tape. (But it's hilarious!)
With this collection you'll see stuff like this: The cup test, plunger wake up, the worm trick, bucket cars, red wagon, bikini wax, ice blocking, lawn trap, human bulls-eye, punt return, and many, many more wackiness and chaos.
The DVD has very few special features, but that's okay. All I wanted was the show itself. The features included are a trivia game, photo gallery, and cast bios. Yes, the swears and bleeped out and nude people are blurred out. (Funny how they will censor the swearing from the guys themselves when the music playing in the background is uncensored. Interesting.)
You'll laugh, you'll cringe.... you'll want to hurl after seeing some of the things you will witness. (One I couldn't even watch. I had to skip it. Try to figure out which one it is when you watch it.) "Jackass: Volume 2" is Jackass at its best.
Kids, don't try this at home. I'm sick of all the parents and news complaining about the show because some stupid and brainless moron decided to reenact some of the stunts. Watch it, don't live it. Okay? Okay.
Don't Expect Vol. 1 Anytime Soon...but here's 2 & 3..........2002-12-16
Jackass should win a Grammy for best TV show of the year. After seeing the movie twice, I've started watching the show (which I didn't before), and because I missed the first few seasons, this is a good way to catch some glinces of them. Not as good as the movie, but entertaining at least. GET IT!!!

Customer Reviews:

Jackass 1 Rocks.......2007-01-19
So much fun watching the boys' first stabs at public mischief. Wonder what happened to the rest of the missing episodes I've seen on MTV though....
Heavily censored commentary........2007-01-05
and the so-called "uncensored" commentary which in theory spans the first 59 sketches is so heavily censored and bleeped that it is almost unlistenable. I suspect it is censored for legal rather than language reasons as it seemed that they were talking about private matters or people who were not there.
Still calling the commentary "uncensored" is a lie.
Jackass in its Prime.......2005-12-29
I think that this season was better than 2 and 3 because it was still the beginning and MTV hadn't started to destroy it by cutting down scenes. This probably explains why this volume hasn't been released until now but it was worth the wait. This set contains so many prime moments of Jackass including The Goldfish, Bam and Brandon's BMX joust, Dave's bicycle rides, and so many more.
Jackass is one o=f the funniest shows to ever be on television and you wonder to yourself how any of these people can actually do the stuff that they do. The low budget cameras also give the show a home-video feel which is pretty funny. Johnny Knoxville is great in this and you'll end up laughing again and again if you buy volume one.
Some of the Highlights Include:
Poo Cocktail
Daddy and Baby 2
BMX Joust
The Goldfish
Extreme Pogo
Mexican Snowboarding
Overall this is a great buy and it will provide you with hours of entertainment. Lots of fun from Johnny Knoxville, Stevo-O, Bam Margera, Ryan Dunn, Chris Pontius, and the rest of the gang. It's makes you wonder how MTV

Jackass Number Two could be alternately titled " From Bowties to Bunny Ears: What Will Chris Pontius Be Wearing Next?" Like the first Jackass movie, Johnny, Bam, Chris, Steve-O and the gang are all here. This "sequel" is full of stunts, pranks and one-liners, and contains more defecation, more male nudity, more scream-worthy moments and of course more uncontrollable laughter. The film opens with a rather well directed cinematic piece: the entire Jackass gang running from a stampede of bulls. From there it takes off into the hysterically exhausting world of Jackass. The bulls are actually in quite a few stunts, one of which has "leader" Johnny Knoxville using himself as a red flag, and getting spearheaded by a charging bull. Ah, good times. Some of the stunts include: "Beehive Limo", "Fart Mask", "Red Rocket" and a fake terrorist plot which boasts the improve line, "Where I'm going, I don't need luggage." Bam gets branded, they fish for sharks with Steve-O as bait, Johnny catches Anacondas with his bare hands, the list goes on. The gem in this collection of antics has to be the offensive interactions with the innocent people on the street by Johnny Knoxville and director/actor Spike Jonez, while disguised as a very old man and woman. Celebrity guests partaking in stunts include extreme sports legends Tony Hawk and Mat Hoffman. The movie culminates in a beautifully choreographed, fantastical and dangerous musical number not to be missed. Throughout the movie it is apparent that the Jackass gang is older and a little more worn, especially when Bam pleads, "Please God, don't let there be a "Jackass 3". For fans of the TV series and the films, a trilogy may be just what the doctor ordered. The DVD extras (deleted scenes, unrated material and two pretty funny music videos) are more of the same and worth the watch, though some of it is not for the faint hearted. --Rachel Moss
