Amazon.com
One of the best comedies of the 1970s, Blake Edwards's ode to midlife crisis and the hazards of infidelity now plays like a valentine to that self-indulgent decade, and it's still as funny as it ever was. In the signature role of his career (along with "Arthur"), Dudley Moore plays a songwriter with a severe case of marital restlessness, and all it takes is a chance encounter with Bo Derek (in her screen debut) to jump-start his libido. Julie Andrews plays Moore's wife, who will only tolerate so much of her husband's desperate need to reaffirm his sexual vitality, while Moore pursues Derek to a tropical rendezvous. The action builds to the now-famous bedroom scene that sent everyone rushing to the music store for their own copy of Ravel's Boléro. Talk about a classical climax! --Jeff Shannon

Description
The final Season comes to DVD! In season 10, Vala, a former Goa'uld host turned freedom-fighter, joins SG-1 in their battle to defend the galaxy from the holy war of the Ori. Meanwhile, relations between the Jaffa and Earth continue to be strained. It all comes to a sizzling end on the finale.
Customer Reviews:
The End of an Era.......2007-07-02
I remember the original Stargate SG-1 movie and while it was good, I think Richard Dean Anderson and Daniel Shanks made a better team than Kurt Russell and James Spader. Stargate offered an exciting journey to distant lands in a blink of an eye and the journey was usually quick, saving more time for adventure.
But after season 8, Stargate got too familiar, always fighting the Gu'ald. The addition of Ben Browder and Claudia Black seemed too reminiscent of Farscape. But the addition of the Ori as a new formidable opponent made the series sizzle again!
Season 10 continues Stargate SG-1's battle against the Ori, one of the most powerful enemies ever concocted. The search for Merlin's weapon against the Ancients that would also destroy the Ori leads one on a quest where even the Gu'ald team up with the SG-1 team to help defeat the Ori. The Ori can transform humans into their oracles and spokesmen and it is interesting to see Daniel Jackson as an Ori. But buy the DVD and see what happens next!
Stargate SG-1 may not be the cleverest series, but it offered quality entertainment to the family for 10 years. I doubt if StarWars could continue as good a series for 10 years. Even though the 100th and 200th episodes were campy and goofy, the 200th episode did have references to Farscape and a tongue-in-cheek view of the show. Stargate offered a look inside each character and although we hoped something would happen between Jack O'Neal and Samantha Carter, it was nice to see Daniel Jackson and Vala as a couple. The show's ending was bittersweet but it's nice to know that there will be movies following.
The series finale did not go out in a bang, or a whimper. It was tastefully done and unexpected. There was a LOT of loose ends and I hope the movies will resolve these. I will get Season 10 to finalize my box set collection. You should too because it will become a SciFi classic!
Good show comes to an end.......2007-06-18
This is one of the best of the seasons that I have seen. If there was one problem than it was that they pushed the losing a team-mate thing too far and the need to drag Vala's father into this particular season was really unnecessary. There were some really good episodes in this one my particular favorite was when they were dealing with the cloned Ba'als and the camping trip that they took. But all in all this was a good season. Seeing it come to a close is hard, but it'll end with a bang and I look forward to those two movies when they come out.
Help me out..........2007-06-16
Someone will have to help me out here. I have watched the first two seasons of this series, and frankly, it is not good. Do they get better as the seasons go on? Compared to others in this genre, and other TV Series of any genre, this series, the first two years, at least, are infantile. The acting is bland at best. The story set-ups are done without any imagination. The premise is very quickly worn out. This actually went for ten seasons?! I'm sorry, I cannot figure out the target audience. The same folks who like other stuff like this cannot like this one.
More real then most.......2007-06-15
This show was the best scifi show ever, I am not one for science fiction, it's boring and unrealistic; however Stargate was something of anomaly it was actualy entertaining and seemed realistic. I think it had a lot to do with the Air Force's influance on the show and how the characters were writen. Stargate SG-1 will be missed Immensely by many people including me. I hope that the dvd movies are a success so there will be more in the future.
The right time to end a fantastic show.......2007-06-14
As much as I would love SG-1 to go on forever, I know that ending at the landmark tenth season is the right thing to do in order to make sure such a wonderful series goes out with the dignity and respect that it deserves. SG-1 broke the mold in terms of special effects, production values, and sheer entertainment. It was able to look at the sci-fi genre in a different light, much like Farscape was able to do. It could make fun of itself while retaining its integrity, and it wasn't so dark and self-righteous as shows like Battlestar Galactica that it couldn't have a goofy episode here and there.
With the promise of at least two movies and the open door for more, the tenth season ends quietly and perfectly. Looking back, I realize that after O'Neill left, it just wasn't the same show. It was a lot of new characters, a new enemy, and a completely different angle. And while this did a lot to freshen up the storylines, it just wouldn't have held past two seasons of Mitchell leading the team. What was wonderful about the tenth season was Vala. She was a truly unapologetic character with a great storyline, and even though her bombastic character had the potential to be a scene-stealer, the amazing Claudia Black knows how to give as much as she takes. Her relations with each member of SG-1 and General Landry are incredibly entertaining and brought season 10 up to a whole new level.
Overall, the stories remained entertaining and meaningful, and the wonderful characters that we've know for ten years remained true to themselves while the newer characters remained true to the Stargate universe. Season ten feels like a good time to wave goodbye to an old friend without ever regretting a single moment of it.

Holy Cow, Buy This if You Didn't Purchase the Seasons As They Came Out.......2007-07-05
If it's way less than $300 for the entire series, you need to buy it.
From 2002 to 2006, I bought each season of Friends as they were released. I just want to encourage anyone who is "iffy" or uncertain about buying this set of all ten seasons. Do it!
Grab it while you can. This is one of those sitcoms that has such re-watchability, like Seinfeld and Frasier and The Golden Girls. I still laugh out loud at these characters and the writing.
Couldn't be more excited.......2007-06-27
I absolutely loved it. As soon as I recieved I watched the entire first season. The only problem that I have is that in some parts it freezes like from a scratch but it isn't too bad. Love shopping at amazon
Perfect purchase.......2007-06-27
I bought the box set as a gift for my boyfriend, and he was really pleased with it. The box is strong enough to have the DVDs, the booklet is very useful, and also when you play a DVD in you computer a software from WB can be installed automatically so you can watch the episodes using that program. Regarding the quality of the DVDs, I have no complaints, the image is good, the sound too, plus you have different language subtitles to practice with. And one more thing, I was afraid that the box would be delived to me practically in pieces because of the shipment period (two weeks and a bit more)and because of some review I read, but it was in perfect conditions. You should definitely buy this Product!
This is automatic brownie points with your lady!!.......2007-06-27
I can't say I was a fan of the show in the beginning of its run. I tend to watch more cartoons than sitcoms. When I first met my girlfriend, she got me into watching this show. At first I only watched it because that meant I got to sit and hold her for 30 minutes; but the show kinda grew on me.
I like friends, and even though they didn't really have any other RACES on the show as regulars, you could find a piece of yourself in at least one of the six characters.
I am definately Chandler.
Oh My God! .......2007-06-25
Excellent option if you want to have all ten seasons at the same time, and at a very cheap price. It was delivered in ten days here to Mexico. And yes, it does have spanish subtitles.

Season 10 is filled with some very memorbale and hilarious episoded. Heres the list.
1. Return of Chef-After spending sometime away from South Park, Chef returns but has become a much different person.
2. Smug Alert- Stan get everyone in South Park to buy electric cars. However, the cars cause an unexpected danger.

4. Cartooon Wars pt 2. It is discovered that Cartman hates Family Guy and is using this situation as an opportunity to get the show cancelled. Along the way, he is aided by a certain kid he met at FOX studios who also hates Family Guy.
5. A milion little Fibers- Towelie writes his memoirs butrealizes no one is going to publish a book about a towel. So he pretends to be a real person.
6. Manbearpig- Al Gore comes to South Park and warns the boys about a creature named Manbearpig.
7. TSST- The School board has decided that their fed up with Cartman's immoral (and quite erradic) behavior. So Cesar Millan from the "Dog Whisperer" is hired to set Cartman straight. Although Millan may have what it takes to get the job, Cartman's not going down without a fight.
8. Make love not Warcraft- The boys and their friends try to stop mad gamer in World of Warcraft.

11. Hell on Earth 2006- It satan's bday, and he wants to have the perfect party.
12. Go God Go. Cartman cannot seem to be patient enough to wait 3 weeks the Nintento Wii's release. So he decides to freeze himself for the period of duration. Also, Scientist Richard Dawkens is assigned to teach the South Park kids about evulotion when Mrs. Garrison refuses to do so.
13. Go God Go pt 2. Cartman unforunatly finds himself waking up 500 yrs into the father, rather than just the 3 weeks as he wanted. He wakes up to witness the future has become an Athiest society.
14. Stanley's Cup-Stan is hired to coach a pee wee hickey team. However, coaching is no walk in the park.
That basically. Def see because it willl provide a lot of good memories.
Yeesssssss! Yeeeesssssssssss! .......2007-06-28
Ok...Season Ten, happens to be one of the best seasons of South Park. This is a must for any South Park fan.
"Live to Win!"
Getting better all the time.......2007-06-18
I thought at frist this season was going to suck
but to my surpise i loved it and can't wait for it to come out
and i liked it more then season 9
These kids are alright.......2007-06-06
The landmark season of South Park saw Matt Stone and Trey Parker's animated series back on top thanks to some scathing, satirical moments and just plain animated lunacy. It also saw the departure of Isaac Hayes, the voice of Chef, who departed after the previous season's lampooning of scientology and Tom Cruise. His departure is spoofed in the opening "Return of Chef" which uses archive sounds of Hayes' voice as Chef returns to South Park brainwashed by the Super Adventure Club, and seeling to "re-connect" with children. Things only get better as Kyle's dad buys a hybrid car in "Smug Alert!", Al Gore seeks attention from anyone with "Manbearpig", Cartman's mom turns to the Dog Whisperer in "Tsst!", Satan has a killer Halloween party in "Hell on Earth 2006", and Cartman seeks to freeze himself in anticipation for the release of the Nintendo Wii in "Go God Go". The best moments of the season however came with the two part "Cartoon Wars" which hilariously lampooned Family Guy, and it makes sense in a way you've never imagined. "Make Love, Not Warcraft" satires the players of the incredibly popular online RPG, and "Miss Teacher Bangs a Boy" finds little Ike having an illicit affair. The only downpoint of the season is the closing "Stanley's Cup" which finds Stan coaching a terrible pee-wee hockey team, for no apparent reason. This episode just isn't funny, at all. Despite that though, every other episode here in the tenth season is a winner, and ten years and still going strong, South Park proves that these kids are quite alright.

Battlestar Galactica's season 2.5 (i.e., the final 10 episodes of the second season, plus an extended version of episode 10) picks up where season 2.0 (the first 10 episodes) left off: Galactica's giddy reunion with the Pegasus had taken a sour turn when Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes) went back on her word to Commander Adama (Edward James Olmos) and decided to integrate the crews, moving Apollo (Jamie Bamber) and Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) to Pegasus. The animosity, combined with an attack on Sharon (Grace Park), threatens to derail a golden opportunity for the fleet to strike the Cylons where they'll hurt, and stay hurt--their resurrection ship.
In many ways, Sharon is the central character. The attack lands Helo (Tahmoh Penikett) and the Chief (Aaron Douglas) in hot water; her impending baby remains the subject of heated debate among president Laura Roslin (Mary McDonnell), Commander Adama, and others; and a rebellious movement determined to force Galactica to give up the Cylon ends up threatening both Apollo and Starbuck and putting further strain on their already-shaky relationship. Dr. Baltar (James Callis) becomes even more intertwined with the Cylons when he discovers another version of Number Six (Tricia Helfer) on the Pegasus, but is also in line to take over the presidency as Roslin's cancer reaches a critical stage. Battlestar Galactica's inexorable dramatic arc sagged in a couple episodes during this run, but the terrific two-part season finale involving a presidential election, a glimmer of hope for humanity, and some unexpected turns of events makes for a thrilling springboard to season 3. Battlestar is often called the best sci-fi show on television, but that seems like damning it with faint praise; it's the best drama on television.
In addition to the 10 episodes, the three-DVD set has an extended version of the last episode of season 2.0, "Pegasus"; the extra 15 minutes include a longer conversation in which Cain reveals her plans to Adama. That episode has a commentary track by executive producers Ronald D. Moore and David Eick, Moore's podcast commentaries are on every other episode, Eick's "video blogs" serve as casual featurettes on series production, and there are numerous deleted scenes. --David Horiuchi
Customer Reviews:
Love this remake.......2007-07-04
This is really how to remake a classic. They do a great job love the series and the DVD did not disappoint. The only gripe is that they broke the 2nd season into two parts.
Galactica Season 2, 2nd half.......2007-06-09
A very interesting, very good series.
Excellent special effects and a good inter-personal story as well, a must see for all Sci-Fi fans.
more goodness.......2007-05-22
If you are reading this then you are already hooked on the series and might as well just buy it! Sure, it sucks that they broke the season into 2 expensive parts but the story line is still good and the final episode is a stunner!
The Best TV Has to Offer.......2007-05-21
I enjoyed Season 2.5 a little more than 2.0. Perhaps that's because as far as the second season as a larger arc goes, this half seems to be where the buildup and climax was.
BSG is best when it gets epic, so I tend to find the two-parter episodes to be the best. Early in 2.5 there are the "Resurrection" episodes and the season ends with the "Lay Down Your Burdens" episodes--both examples of Battlestar at its best.
Everything that has made this series great--character and conflict first come to mind--is here, but the mystery surrounding the Cylons' motives deepens.
Most TV is not that good. But Battlestar has managed at least two excellent seasons. I can't wait for Season Three to come out on DVD.
Outstanding.......2007-05-13
Start from the beginning and make sure you can devote plenty of time to this great series. Once you view the first mini series you will continue to be impressed with the entire series. Enjoy!

can't ask for much in 10.......2007-06-19
Got this to try something new and wanted to work on my flexability. Good for light days or days you want to focus on abs and stretching. Only thing I really wish is that she would cue better on the breathing. There are parts that she focuses really well on it or makes it very obvious whether you should be inhaling or exhaling, and then there are others that she moves very quickly through and doesn't give quite enough instruction on breathing or the beginner modifications. Overall not bad for what it is. Has potential once I get more aquainted with proper breathing and moves.
Great workout.......2007-06-16
I am impressed with this 10-minute workout. The exercises are excellent and focused.
Love It!!!.......2007-06-14
I bought this DVD on a whim. I saw it in a store and it looked interesting. The variety is really great. I love that I can set up my own workout if I want to do certain areas one day or do the whole thing if I have the time and energy. For me, there are also some really different exercises and stretches, not the same old stuff I've been doing. I highly recommend it.
Ignore the positive reviews..........2007-06-03
I'd give this zero stars if I could. These people giving positive reviews must be professional Pilates instructors or acrobats. Contrary to what someone on here said, this is NOT for beginners or even those that have done Pilates for awhile. I did this once and now I'm going to get rid of it. The instructor is nice and cues very well; you can learn this from the start if you can do all the difficult moves. But I couldn't. I hurt my back, neck, arms, and hands, sweat just a little bit, and felt like I accomplished absolutely nothing except to injure myself. I don't recommend this for anyone unless they're an expert at twisting themselves into impossible positions for long periods of time. Take my advice and stay away from this.
Effective!.......2007-05-27
I've never ever done pilates, so I have to say that this was a bumpy start. She goes a little fast, so I recommend that the viewer watch the segment first and then do it. But this being nitpicky. I love the 10 minute solution series because it allows me to customize my workout and I can try new things in small amounts. The instructor is great, and the workouts themselves are productive without being painfully strenuous. The best part is that I can feel the results and I'm not bored!

The first half of Battlestar Galactica's second season left no doubts about the continuing excellence of the best science fiction TV series of 2005. Beginning with the Colonial Fleet separated, Col. Tigh (Michael Hogan) botching his temporary command, and Capt. Adama (Edward James Olmos) near death after a Cylon assassination attempt, series producer/developer Ronald D. Moore and his gifted writing staff packed more into these 10 episodes than most series manage in a full season. Maintaining its reputation as an adult drama, the series is compellingly anchored by the gravitas of Olmos and Mary McDonnell, whose role as Fleet President Laura Roslin grows more complex as she reveals her diagnosis of breast cancer and defies Adama, playing the "religious card" with her conviction that prophetic visions will lead the embattled fleet toward its legendary home planet Earth. As Adama's son Apollo (Jamie Bamber) wrestles with his role in Roslin's mutinous agenda, paranoia runs high as Cylon copies (or "avatars") of Boomer (Grace Park) complicate matters aboard Galactica and on Kobol, where a lost Raptor crew struggles to survive and Dr. Baltar (James Callis) endures the increasingly haunting and manipulative intrusions into his tormented psyche by Number Six (Tricia Helfer), the seductive Cylon who holds the secret to the Cylon master plan to destroy humankind.
Further action takes place on Cylon-occupied Caprica, where Starbuck (Katee Sackhoff) and Helo (Tamoh Penikett) discover a group of human resistance fighters who survived the Cylons' nuclear attack in season 1. As all of these plot threads are expertly interwoven, the high-stakes conflict of BG 2.0 culminates in a suspenseful mid-season cliffhanger. Through all of this, Battlestar Galactica maintains consistently high standards of intelligent drama and well-justified, story-based use of spectacular special effects, while developing rich relationships across a broad spectrum of interesting supporting characters. The series' large and likable cast is well-used throughout (even smaller roles are given adequate dimension), and Moore's "podcast" commentaries provide a smart, thorough analysis of the show's writing process and conceptual evolution. Yes, it's undeniably true that this half-season DVD set is a blatantly commercial ploy to lure more and more viewers into the ongoing season (which resumed in January 2006), but you can hardly blame Universal for capitalizing on a high-quality series. With solid ratings, good scripts, and a devoted cast and crew, Battlestar Galactica showed every indication of thriving toward a third season and beyond. --Jeff Shannon
Description
Sci-fi's hottest TV series returns as Battlestar Galactica 2.0 blasts onto DVD in Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound. As the epic second season begins, the fight to save humanity rages on - even as civil war looms within the fleet between the followers of President Roslin and Commander Adama. Relive all the intensity and excitement aboard the Galactica with a supernova of explosive bonus features, including deleted scenes and podcasts. It's a heart-pounding adventure you can't afford to miss!

Love this remake.......2007-07-04
Great series and DVD. Only complaint was that they broke it up over two DVD's for season 2
Fantastic Show - From Someone Who Doesn't Watch TV .......2007-07-02
I don't even watch or care for television drama (the Sopranos is the only other drama I've followed in the past 10+ years), but I love "Battlestar Galactica."
After the Cylons (robots) wipe out almost all of humanity in a sneak attack, the "Battlestar Galactica" is the last remaining human warship and leads the few survivors on a search for the mythical Earth. The television show focuses on the President of the Colonies and the military leaders aboard the Galactica. The show has a gritty, realistic, military feel, but despite this, the show is much more than an action/military show: it expertly blends politics, morality, philososphy, and religion into its many plots and focuses on the many characters as they cope with the travails of humanity facing extinction.
Season 2.0 features serious conflicts between the military and civilian leadership that almost erupt into civil war, a return trip to Caprica, religious prophecies fulfilled, and more plot twists involving Cylon agents inside the fleet, and ends with even more drama. While it may not be true enough to "the original" Battlestar Galactica, it is a fantastic television show. Watch Season One and Season 2.0, and then enjoy the remaining seasons.
Superb.......2007-07-02
Just a great show, from concept to the visual effects. Every time I watch the show it reminds me why I love the sci-fi genre and what sci-fi can be when it is done right. It is just a great time to sit down and go through these episodes on DVD.
Not real happy.......2007-06-10
I had ordered Battle Star Galactica season 2 but got an entirely different item. When I spoke to them they said they didn't even have the title in stock. I'm still waiting to see if I'm going to be reimbursed.
A brilliant sci-fi series!.......2007-05-29
An intelligent, thought-provoking, fast, adrenaline-pumping sci-fi ride. Escapism at it's finest. I never watched the original series but this is highly recommended viewing. It's dark, gruesome and I can't speak highly enough of the soundtrack. Superb viewing.

Description
Now you can actually look ten years younger in ten hours. Callan Pinckney, author of the revolutionary best-selling book
Callanetics(a perennial New York Times Best-Seller), personally demonstrates her innovative deep muscle exercise technique that can literally shed years off your figure in hours without putting pressure on your back. Unlike other exercise programs that stress hard jerking motions,
Callanetics is a series of small, gentle, precise motions consistently applied that activate the body's largest most powerful muscles to quickly tighten hips, buttocks, inner and outer thighs; flatten the tummy; lift the bust and firm underarms and tone the entire body. It will also dramatically improve your posture. You will feel the difference after one hour and most people actually see a difference after two hours. By following the simple 60 minute
Callanetics workout twice a week, the body you always dreamed about is only hours away.

It's worked for 19 years!.......2007-07-03
I have been using my Callenetics VHS tape for 19 years. I am so glad to see it on DVD! I am 46 years old and I feel as strong today as I did in my 20's. Don't let the dated leotards and hair styles fool you...it works and it works fast.
Fast Turnaround.......2007-06-27
I was happy to locate this item at Amazon since I had been searching for it for quite a long time. I had purchased this program on VCR several years ago and wanted to have it in DVD form to make it convenient to continue using with today's equipment. I was very pleased when the item arrived even earlier than I expected and in excellent condition.
Great.......2007-06-23
I purchased this DVD in June. I believed that it wasn't chaptered, and was surprised and happy to find that the chapters worked perfectly. I have a background in ballet and Pilates. So, I recognized Pilates in the abdominal exercises (100s) and the ballet stretches on the barre. The look may be outdated, but the content is as worthwhile today as it always was. While it is true that sustained stretches are now considered preferable to "bouncing" stretches, Callanetics "bouncing" is only a quarter of an inch or less - not much. This DVD is a good example of, "there's nothing new under the sun" and, "everything old becomes new again". I was totally ASTONISHED by the realization that Callanetics must be the inspiration and foundation for the "Fluidity" barre and companion exercise approach (I have the product.). I think that the instruction on this DVD is outstanding, along with the corrections for achieving better form and preventing injury. I'm so happy with this DVD that I purchased a used copy of the companion book - along with Super Callanetics - which I have not yet tried. I just wish that I could work with the instructor here in the Southwest...
Tediously long, hilariously dated, and INCREDIBLY EFFECTIVE.......2007-05-31
This is the most effective workout I've ever experienced. When I was using this DVD every day I had the perfect body and I could eat and wear anything I wanted. Nowadays I usually alternate it with other workout DVDs, but it's always nearby. I usually at least do the ab section if I have a cardio day. It requires a chair or something that you can use as a barre, and a mat if you don't have carpet. One thing: in this day and age it's not recommended to perform a ballistic stretch (bouncing stretch, as in the leg stretches) so I generally just hold the stretch without pulsing and it is still very effective. Use your own discretion, but that is my "warning".
Great Exercise Video.......2007-05-30
I first found this exercise video 20 years ago. And always had great results with using the exercises. Then I wasn't able to find it until now. Very happy to be reunited with it. I recommend it for building a stronger, firmer body.

Customer Reviews:
EXCELLENT DANCE WORKOUT!.......2007-07-03
I really enjoyed this DVD! I did some research prior to ordering it as there are so many on the market to choose from. However, my research paid off as I am thrilled with this workout dance video. Being a former "Club Hopper" from New York City, I was looking for something "Stylin and Raw" not some corney dance steps by a bunch of Barbie dolls! This DVD is easy to follow, gets the heart rate going, and makes you feel like you're in a club. The instructor can really move, which really motivates you. A MUST BUY!!!
It shines where it shines, but it has it's dark spots.......2007-06-24
I bought this product because I thought it would teach me some dance moves while helping me out with my cardio. Not many moves were taught, but it is a fabulous workout! Let me tell you, it works up a light sweat with one workout and that was great!
Although I am very pleased with my purchase, the abs workout was horrible! I do pilates a lot and this was a wreck. The other 10 minute sessions really made up for it though! This is a great purchase all in all! By the way, if you are looking for an ab workout I'd go with Ana Caban's pilates mat workouts.
Nice hip hop moves & dancers w/some toning.......2007-06-14
Set on nice white stage with 2 backup girls. The music could be much better & I think it keeps me from getting into it more because after the 10 min, I'm kinda bored for some reason though I love the teaching style, pace & enjoy learning the good moves. Jennifer in this dvd gives great cues at great timing & has a good attention to detail such as reminding you to turn out your knee in the thigh workout to make sure you're working your inner thighs. I love her best here, in her Prevention: Dance it off! I didn't like the dance moves, in her Crunch: Fat Burning Dance Party in 2005 had good moves, but not enough breakdown or 1/2 time teaching.
There's only a 30 second to 1 min warm up & cool down, but there would be no time in a 10 min workout.
Jennifer starts off with simple step touches, teaches in 1/2 time, build up to bigger moves & more detail, and then adds the arms so you can keep up easily a few times, then goes normal speed a few times. After you learn 2 moves, she puts them together in routine, and so on for about 4-5 moves each 10 min workout.
Any dance move that's good you will not get the first time, as long as you're not staring at the tv totally lost, you will get it, trust me. Everything takes practice. She is only going to show the teaching for only so long so you get to learn more moves & won't be bored once you've viewed this several times.
The Simple Slimmer & Calorie Meltdown is all dance moves. I didn't have to fast fwd or go in slow motion to keep up.
In the fat burning dance party, only in one kick fwd, step back move did I have to go in slow motion since she didn't do it in 1/2 time. At one point, she says "I'm gong to talk less because instructors get tired too." I like to see videos where you see the instructor doing it, getting hot (it's harder for them with all the blazing industrial strength lights to kill every single shadow) w/o breaks for makeup & hair touch ups.
The Butt & Thigh blaster is more slow toning moves that turn into very simple, basic hip hop dance moves & was too easy & simplistic for me.
Ab Attack: same style as butt/thigh.. more about slow toning with simple moves like chest circles knee to chest with arms down, etc.
See a preview at collagevideo
Fun, but doesn't make you sweat.......2007-06-04
This exercise is fun, but it didn't really make me sweat too much compared to the Kickboxing. I have a feeling you really have to get into it in order to make it be a great work out that you can feel. However, the dance moves were tricky enough that I spent more time trying to focus on the steps as opposed to working my muscles.
A little too difficult to follow.......2007-05-29
I loved the fact that after 3 10-minutes workout, I was sweating as if I ran 30 mins on the treadmill. However, I found the dance moves a little hard to follow for a non-dancer like me. I guess the instructor did not have enough time to get viewers used to the moves, due to the limitation of time -- 10 mins. Also, the instructions to those moves are hard to follow, for I was never familiar with those dance terms. During the entire workout, I felt "busy" watching the moves on TV and listening to the instruction.

It's, like, Shakespeare, man! This good-natured and likeable update of The Taming of the Shrew takes the basics of Shakespeare's farce about a surly wench and the man who tries to win her and transfers it to modern-day Padua High School. Kat Stratford (Julia Stiles) is a sullen, forbidding riot grrrl who has a blistering word for everyone; her sunny younger sister Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) is poised for high school stardom. The problem: overprotective and paranoid Papa Stratford (a dryly funny Larry Miller) won't let Bianca date until boy-hating Kat does, which is to say never. When Bianca's pining suitor Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) gets wind of this, he hires the mysterious, brooding Patrick Verona (Heath Ledger) to loosen Kat up. Of course, what starts out as a paying gig turns to true love as Patrick discovers that underneath her brittle exterior, Kat is a regular babe. The script, by Karen McCullah Lutz and Kirsten Smith, is sitcom-funny with peppy one-liners and lots of smart teenspeak; however, its cleverness and imagination doesn't really extend beyond its characters' Renaissance names and occasional snippets of real Shakespearean dialogue. What makes the movie energetic and winning is the formula that helped make She's All That such a big hit: two high-wattage stars who look great and can really act. Ledger is a hunk of promise with a quick grin and charming Aussie accent, and Stiles mines Kat's bitterness and anger to depths usually unknown in teen films; her recitation of her English class sonnet (from which the film takes its title) is funny, heartbreaking, and hopelessly romantic. The imperious Allison Janney (Primary Colors) nearly steals the film as a no-nonsense guidance counselor secretly writing a trashy romance novel. --Mark Englehart
Description
A cool cast of young stars is just one of the things you'll love about this hilarious comedy hit! On the first day at his new school, Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt -- HALLOWEEN: H2O, TV's "3RD Rock From The Sun") instantly falls for Bianca (Larisa Oleynik -- THE BABY SITTERS CLUB), the gorgeous girl of his dreams. The only problem is that Bianca is forbidden to date ... until her ill-tempered, completely un-dateable older sister Kat (Julia Stiles -- THE BOURNE IDENTITY, SAVE THE LAST DANCE) goes out too! In an attempt to solve his problem, Cameron singles out the only guy who could possibly be a match for Kat: a mysterious bad-boy (Heath Ledger -- A KNIGHT'S TALE, THE PATRIOT) with a nasty reputation of his own! Also featuring a hip soundtrack -- this witty comedy is a wildly entertaining look at exactly how far some guys will go to get a date!
Customer Reviews:
An entertaining movie for teens!.......2007-06-19
In terms of teen flicks, this one is at (or near) the top of my list. With a cast busting with famous actors and actresses (including Julia Stiles and Heath Ledger), this film is sure to bring entertainment to those who watch it.
So what's this movie about? While being given a tour of his new school, a boy named Cameron falls for a popular girl named Bianca. Cameron tries his hardest to get a date with Bianca but he ultimately finds out that she can't date anyone until her sister Kat starts dating. The problem? Kat doesn't want to date and she has a bad attitude so even if she wanted to, guys wouldn't necessarily flock to her. Cameron has to try to find a guy for Kat and ultimately chooses Patrick, a guy who has a bad reputation and a bad attitude (sort of like Kat). Will Kat drop her guard and date Patrick? Will Bianca want to date Cameron? And when another guy comes into the picture, which guy will Bianca choose? To find out the answers to these questions, you must watch this movie.
So what's to like about this movie? There's a ton going on in this movie. You have several different storylines and different questions will arise during the entire movie. You have the Patrick and Kat storyline. You have the Bianca and Cameron storyline. You have the Bianca and another guy storyline. You even have a storyline involving two semi-geeky kids. There are some funny parts. And even more emotional parts. It truly will suck you in. Although the ending is predictable, you'll want to see what exactly happens at the end.
And what's not to like? Don't expect this movie to be Oscar-worthy. This is a typical teen movie about high school and dating, nothing serious.
Bottom line: If you're just looking for a fun, no frills kind of movie to watch with a few friends, try this one. It's a cute film for teens!
Fun But Predictable.......2007-05-17
10 Things I Hate About You is another variation of Taming the Shrew and generally succeeds in its attempt to keep things light-hearted and humorous. Its strength is in its script since it is brimming with dry humor about our modern teens.
Yet, where this movie falls flat is in its insistance on staying true to Hollywood forulas and making a forgetable carbon-copy of so many other boy-meets-girl stories.
A good movie to watch on a date, but it won't stand the test of time.
10 Things I Hate About You.......2007-05-12
Bought this as a gift off of a wish list. The person and their family really enjoy the movie
Great flick one question why the title?.......2007-03-28
I really don't have much to add because I agree with other revewers--this is a clever and witty movie (in fact most of the "teen" adaptations of classics are very good.) But why the title? It is not from Taming of the Shrew but seems to come from sonnet 141 which Kat's class has to paraphrase--what's the connection? Sonnet 141 "In faith I do not love thee with..." is a dense dense piece of work and I am still not sure what it is about. Can anyone offer an explanation of the title of the movie?
A very good teen romance movie.......2007-03-12
I like this movie and have seen it several times. Like another reviewer, I would compare it to "She's All That" which I have also seen. This movie is a half star better than "She's All That".
Kat and Bianca live with their father, an OB/GYN, whose wife left him. He is raising his daughters alone. He's very caring father, though very strick both because of his profession and his abandonment by his wife.
Bianca, who is younger than Kat and a certified flirt, is not allowed by her father to date unless Kat is dating. But Kat refuses to date anyone. She is cynical and unhappy though it is obvious that she is very intelligent (much more so than Bianca). She's very unpopular at school; even her English teacher doesn't like her. Something has happened to Kat to make her cynical and bitter, but what? We find out much later in the film.
Cameron, who has been tutoring Bianca in French, is infatuated with Bianca and wants to date her. He and his friend Michael (a geeky kind of guy) devise a scheme to find a date for Kat. No one will accept their proposal except Patrick who is the most unpopular tough-guy/loner at the high school (he lights his cigarettes with a blow torch in one scene). The school rumor is that Patrick was in prison at one time. Though frightened of Patrick, they approach him and convince Patrick to work on getting a date with Kat by tricking Joey, an egotistical guy with plenty of money who also wants to date Bianca, into bribing Patrick.
It takes Patrick quite a while to make it through the wall Kat has thrown up to keep everyone at arms length. Kat hates Patrick at first but his persistence pays off.
The scenes between Patrick and Kat, as their relationship develops, are charming. My favorite scenes are the book store scene, Patrick's tenderness to Kat after she gets herself drunk at a party, the paint ball scene, the music store scene, and most especially the scene where Patrick sings to Kat from the bleachers while she is in gym class playing soccer.
Why did I give this movie 4 stars if I liked it so much? Because this movie is an very loose adaptation based on Shakespeare's play "The Taming of the Shrew". In comparison with "Clueless", another teen romance movie which is a loose adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma", this movie falls just short of the perfection of "Clueless". If "Clueless" is a 5 star movie, then this one must be a 4 star movie.

Throughout its phenomenal run, Friends demonstrated that familiarity doesn't always breed contempt. But isn't it nice that even after 10 years, we could still learn something new about these intimately observed characters? Tidbits revealed in the episode "The One Where the Stripper Cries": Ross (David Schwimmer) and Monica (Courtney Cox Arquette) used to entertain at family gatherings as Donny and Marie; ("Oh God, that's right," remembers Rachel. "I blocked that out.") and Chandler (Matthew Perry) kissed Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) at a college party in the 1980s.

The best was saved for "The Last One": At one time, Ross (David Schwimmer) pursued being a professional dancer ("Do you realize we almost made it 10 years without that coming up?," he remarks).
Friends' tenth season is all about life changes and closure. Monica and Chandler buy a house and make plans to adopt. Once New Age free spirit Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) gets married. Rachel is offered a job in Paris, prompting Ross to finally proclaim his love.

Two of Friends's most invaluable players are granted worthy send-offs. Janice (Maggie Wheeler) resurfaces as a prospective homebuyer in the house next door to Monica and Chandler in "The One Where Estelle Dies," and Central Perk fixture Gunther (James Michael Tyler) at last professes his adoration of Rachel in "The Last One." Christina Applegate makes a welcome return in "The One Where Rachel's Sister Babysits" and Danny DeVito is the unlikely and very temperamental stripper in "The One Where the Stripper Cries."

Greg Kinnear is at his smarmy best as Ross's new girlfriend's Nobel-prize-winning ex-boyfriend in "The One with Ross' Grant." Dakota Fanning has a sweet scene with Joey (Matt LeBlanc) in "The One with Princess Consuela" and Anna Faris joins Paul Rudd (Phoebe's husband Mike, a.k.a. Crap Bag in "Princess Consuela") as a recurring cast member in "The One with the Birth Mother."
Friends' final season quickly recovers from the Joey-Rachel misstep to find its consistent and satisfying groove. As each Friend turns in their key to the apartment each had shared at one time or another over the past 10 years in "The Last One," could Friends end on a happier or more poignant note? This final addition to the Friends DVD library, too, rises to the momentous occasion with a more generous package of features, including a lengthy gag reel and reflections from the ensemble. --Donald Liebenson

Too Bad it's Over.......2007-06-21
Let me just say that it is so sad that the show ended. Believe it or not, this season was good for a last season. My favorites were "The One where Estelle Dies", "The One with Ross's tan", "The One where Rachel's sister baby-sits', and "The One Where Joey Speaks French." It is good but very emotional. B

My gf is an avid Friend's fan, as am I. Buying the collected season discs for her has been the best entertainment investment I've ever made, as she can watch each season's episodes in order, progressing thru all ten seasons & then start over at the beginning [by which time she's forgotten the jokes.] This series is probably the best product of the 1990's, and really stands up to repeated viewing. Enjoy!

This is a GREAT addition to our collection of one of our favorite sitcoms ever!!!
Thanks for the wonderful deal!!
Wonderful!.......2007-04-05
I enjoyed this box set very much. I was unable to watch many of these episodes when they originally aired. Buying the box set allowed me to catch up on the final season. Some of the episodes are so funny, I have already rewatched them several times.
This is a perfect choice for the "Friends" lover.
Magnificent.......2007-03-20
friends has its great reputation already but this season is funny, in a different way, and romantic, in another different way. By the finale, you might shed a tear cuz you'll realize how close you were with friends for 10 years. Plus the happy endings for the gang, you'll miss them. And to you all viewers, I really wish that you and your close ones don't get apart.
