Hilarious.......2007-01-08

Ralphie May is the comedian that appeared on the first season of "Last Comic Standing" (the only season I ever watched) and should've won...This DVD, his first, only proves that. This guy is hilarious! His subjects range from living with Mexicans, to The Kennedy's, to how he lives in a dangerous part of Los Angeles called Los Angeles, and the name of Jack in the Box in Da Hood.
Ralphie May is clearly not a comedian that is only funny when he's pre-written all of his material. The dude is just a naturally funny, laid-back guy. This DVD doesn't display his best work, but it does give you a taste of greatness and will make you laugh. This is one of the few comedians that is capable of making you laugh, almost by just saying "hi." I don't have much to say here other than see this DVD; it's absolutely hilarious.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!! Ralphie May stole most of his jokes from other comedians who perform at "The Laff Stop" in houston tx where he did open mic's on monday nights. Support Comedy and dont buy this or anything else from Ralphie May.

The man was my pick for "last comic standing," so naturally I had to get his first DVD... not only was he as funny as I expected, but the DVD shows a side of him that is also very humbled, which I didn't expect. If you're a comedy fan like I am, this DVD is for you!

Apparently everyone else liked this DVD, I was disappointed. I think the reviewer who gave it 1-star for the CD version has it right. I too love Carlin, and can handle an f-bomb and all the raunch you can throw at me. The problem is, Ralphie's delivery is off here, and a lot of the jokes just aren't funny. I loved him on Last Comic, and have always enjoyed him when I've heard him do radio spots. Throughout this performance he keeps justifying himself, by repeatedly saying how he hates 'politically correct', but that he's 'just correct'. Ralphie--- stop justifying yourself, and tell your jokes!
