I bought this title primarily to see Traci Lords in yet another kinda mainstream movie, 18 years after her earlier "career" came to an end.
Traci's role was particularly captivating and humorous---and dare I say that she stole the movie, with wit and sexiness - yes, she still has it !

Thanks for the opportunity to buy Frostbite.

The acting is great! Everything is sooooo great! And I really loved when Billy was put in a trash can and thrown down the mountain! I laughed out loud when I heard J.P! The way he speaks.... AWESOME!

This is another of the endless type of Hollywood movie that is lame, puerile, and stupid. I won't go into detail with examples of the lame attempts at humor, since other reviews here cover that well. And sure, as the the cover suggests, it's got a bunch of sexy babes in it, but don't watch it for them either, because there's very little to see of them. The only decent sexy scene is a hot tub one with several topless girls that runs maybe 2 minutes. Further, the cover advertises "4 UNRATED deleted scenes" as though those are sexy scenes, but they're NOT at all. So, if you're looking for very corny, adolescent humor, this film may be for you, but otherwise avoid it like the plague.

fun by over-acting.......2005-02-23

In spite of its many rough-funny moments, I wouldn't call 'Frostbite' a comedy. This movie's bottomline refers to the rich, arrogantly showing off their wealth & advantage to the poor. Touching on an actual style of behavior in the USA, as well as in some other western societies. And all shaped in a well-balanced, thick-layed overacting.

Main star Traci Lords refreshingly doesn't conceal her age or her background. As a barkeeper in the local poor pub, she inspires everyone with her toughness. As it's all set against a snowboard theme, you'll appreciate 'Frostbite' being a well chosen title.

I have seldom seen a film of this genre done so well. The comedic writing in FROSTBITE is first rate. I noticed that the writers are big name ( read EMMY winners ). The casting is very creative. Traci Lords, what a great idea, and Phil Morris from Seinfeld is brilliant. How the director could control these insanely creative people is beyond me.

THIS IS A MUST SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Steve 67 needs to spend some time developing a sense of humour - or learning to spell.
Yes, there IS a talking dog in it with no other purpose than to be funny. Guess what?
Frostbite is MEANT to be funny, and is fully deserving of a place alongside Sean of the Dead, Galaxy Quest and American Werewolf in London. Pay no attention to those who miss the point - this is a great, vastly-underrated, and FUNNY horror film.

This Swedish horror comedy about vampires that take over a town during what known as polar night. It is when the sun will remain down for up to 24 hours. This will of course mean the vampires have more timme to roam about town. A pill manufactured by a vampire scientist that supposed to turn humans into vampires makes it way to a local party. Thinking it's some kind of new drug the teens pass it around without a second thought. It does'nt take long before evryone begins to turn on each other. This movie gets is ridiculous at times. For one, the dogs talk in this movie. Yes they talk. They have no real purpose but to try and be funny nothing else. To make things worse the action does not pick up until the last 25 minutes or so in this film. Until then we only see shadows of killings. Overall Sweden failed attempt at a fun horror-comedy for the vampire genre. It has a bad script,editing, and video-game effects. I just can not recommend this one.
