    Besides the opening and ending scenes, this movie is full of mediocre one-liners and wacky antics that just aren't funny enough to warrant an hour and a half of your life. That, along with the meaningless story line, leaves very little to redeem this movie. Don't waste your time unless this is your flavor of humor.

    I rated this as "wishy washy" because I would never recommend this movie to someone who I didn't know had an affinity for gratuitous humor. However, I would definitely show the first fifteen minutes to anyone who enjoys spoof hilarity. The first fifteen are probably the most hilarious I have ever viewed. Even my husband, who might be considered more prudish than myself, enjoyed the initial part of this movie. It is too bad they couldn't keep it up. Instead they filled the movie with such humor to be had in a bad Adam Sandler film or Reno 911.

    This is a great movie, but you might like to mention in future sales of dvd's that if it comes from the USA, it's unlikely to play on dvd players in other countries because of zoning restrictions on US dvds.
    However, it will play on pcs and laptops, so all is not lost.

    One of the funniest and most quotable movies ever made. No exaggeration. If you like inappropriate humor, clever banter, and the F word, you'll love this movie. I will be embarassing my future grandchildren many decades from now by watching this movie as frequently as possible. It's that good.

    The fine art of handing out a freeway speeding ticket gets a deviously funny twist in this smart-alecky farce written and performed by the comedy troop Broken Lizard (consisting of Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske). These pranksters in patrol cars (led by their long-suffering commander Brian Cox) are little more than overgrown frat boys in a campus rivalry with the brawling Vermont bullies of the local police force, and they know how to have fun on the highway patrol. This skit-like collection of comic moments clumps from one scene to another like a variety show, but the gags are more hit than miss, thanks largely to terrific ensemble work and inspired motorist mind games.     Nice smooth transaction,but They REALLY need to keep you posted of the order process, that the order did ship and estimated arrival. It makes you begin to wonder if they are legit and if you'll even get your stuff. Then it shows up 2 weeks later.

    The first time I saw this movie i almost died. But it's only really funny the first and second time after that I find myself skipping around in the movie only to the funny parts.

    I remember the first time I was introduced to this movie. I was online chatting, and one user remarked to me, "That movie was so stupid! It was pointless, a waste of my time, and I never understood it!" It was then I drove to Blockbuster to rent it, and I later told the guy, "Understand it? See, that's your problem..."

    You never really "understand" it. It kind of reminds me of "Clerks", just a day in the life of a guy, one day, nothing particular. Same thing here, except more time passing by. You can just sense it, the directing, the filming, the humor, it's so...not a normal movie. Which makes it so interesting. Personally, as much as I dislike 'Farva' in the movie, he really is my favorite character. He reminds me of me...when I was 12 years old!

    This really is a movie you either love or hate, because you can only see two ways: 1) Try to understand it, or since that's impossible, 2) Just enjoy the creative humor. No matter if it's deadpan or slapstick, sarcastic or lively, this humor is very creative, and it flows easily, like one giant family of highway cops. How do you know, though? You can only figure it out on your own... So, if you're "all highway" and it's "primetime for crimetime", then go out and rent it. And prepare yourself. At the same time this is something you've probably never seen before, it may have quite a few lasting impressions on you. (And if you hate it the first time, watch it again. It only gets better... :)

    (And if you still don't want to watch it, just rent it for the first ten minutes of the film - it's what got me hooked the first time!)

    this film is funny. it has its slow parts, just like every other losely plotted comedy. it's not meant to have a mind blowing plot, just some good natured humor. how can that brybili say the opening scene wasn't funny? i think it's genius. messing with the stoners, haha. i would imagine i would be pretty freaked out and confused if that happened also.

    i went into it with low expectations, but was pleasantly surprised afterwards. Farva is hilarious. I love the fast food scene where he and the worker get into it.

    I rented this movie thinking that it would be pretty stupid. Man, was I suprised. I laughed so hard for 90 minutes, it took another 90 to catch my breath. I went out and bought this movie the very next day and have watched probably too many times but it hasn't lost a thing. In a time where everyone is worried about being P.C., it's nice to see a truely funny movie. I am sure not everyone will like this but if you enjoy goofy slapstick type comedy, I would HIGHLY suggest this movie.

      Ever spend eight hours in a "Productivity Bin"? Ever had worries about layoffs? Ever had the urge to demolish a temperamental printer or fax machine? Ever had to endure a smarmy, condescending boss? Then Office Space should hit pretty close to home for you. Peter (Ron Livingston) spends the day doing stupefyingly dull computer work in a cubicle. He goes home to an apartment sparsely furnished by IKEA and Target, then starts for a maddening commute to work again in the morning. His coworkers in the cube farm are an annoying lot, his boss is a snide, patronizing jerk, and his days are consumed with tedium. In desperation, he turns to career hypnotherapy, but when his hypno-induced relaxation takes hold, there's no shutting it off. Layoffs are in the air at his corporation, and with two coworkers (both of whom are slated for the chute) he devises a scheme to skim funds from company accounts. The scheme soon snowballs, however, throwing the three into a panic until the unexpected happens and saves the day. Director Mike Judge has come up with a spot-on look at work in corporate America circa 1999. With well-drawn characters and situations instantly familiar to the white-collar milieu, he captures the joylessness of many a cube denizen's work life to a T.       Both movies are by far two of my favorite comedies that I have and that i've watched....super troopers is the topic of discussion all the time between my friends and I as is office space....both movies are quoted religously all the time and they are well deserving of that because of the hilarity of both movies...great lines great plots great stories and the actors were hilarious...recommend to buy both movies if anyone is looking.

      Oh my god! You couldn't possibly put two better comedies together! Well, maybe you could, but it all depends on taste. We have office Space with Super troopers, the last being my favorite of the two, for the price of $25 (give or take). You save a bit of cash, and it's absolutely perfect if you don't have either of the movies. Perfect is really the only thing that comes to mind. Well, actually there is one thing that did bug me, and that was the lack of extras on Office Space, while there are plenty on Super troopers, but this package is perfect nether the less. It makes an excellent gift so go ahead and click the buy button!

      This is a great movie, but you might like to mention in future sales of dvd's that if it comes from the USA, it's unlikely to play on dvd players in other countries because of zoning restrictions on US dvds.
      However, it will play on pcs and laptops, so all is not lost.

      One of the funniest and most quotable movies ever made. No exaggeration. If you like inappropriate humor, clever banter, and the F word, you'll love this movie. I will be embarassing my future grandchildren many decades from now by watching this movie as frequently as possible. It's that good.

      These are your above average pothead humor films. Not the best but far from the worst. When you need a cheap laugh & nothing else good is on, these will lighten up the mood.

      I don't understand how people can find these movies funny.

      I enjoy a crude comedy as well as the high-brow stuff, having been raised on ANIMAL HOUSE and CADDYSHACK and AIRPLANE!

      But the Broken Lizard movies are just lame and laughless. I realize that humor is very subjective...but these movies are horrible. I laughed once in SUPER TROOPERS (that's one more laugh than I had for THE WATERBOY or any Kevin Smith film). I've caught most of CLUB DREAD on cable and, though the blonde chick is smokin' hot, the movie just lays there like a dead teen in a slasher film.

      Their latest film, BEER FEST or something, is being advertised as a worthy successor to SUPER TROOPERS, CLUB DREAD and Broken Lizard's last masterpiece, THE DUKES OF HAZZARD.
      At least they're consistent.

      This is a great 2 pack DVD deal. Both of these movies are hilarious, and they are must haves for any comedy fan.

      In "Super Troopers," a gang of misfit state police, who constantly screw around on the job and therefore get little accomplished, find themselves in competition with the local police department. In order to save their jobs and clear their "good" names, the goofy troopers must solve a crime, filled with murder and drugs before the local cops beat them to it. This movie is comedy at its finest, and you'll be sure to find yourself repeating the rediculous one-liners.

      "Broken Lizard's Club Dread" contains a similar cast of characters (mostly because the creators of Super Troopers also starred in, and directed this movie) but is instead, a horror spoof. Imagine "I Still Know What You Did Last Summer" meets "Scary Movie," and you've got Club Dread. A serial killer runs rampant at the sleazy Coconut Pete's Coconut Beach Resort, located on a booze-soaked island, and the staff of the resort frantically try to cover up the madness while searching for the killer's identity. This horror comedy will no doubt have you screaming with laughter.

      I reccommend both these films highly, and what better way to buy them than together?
